Here I was insulted by a cashier named Angelo. I did my shopping as usual and came to the checkout. I didn't have my Ralph's card, so I asked him if he could swipe it for me at the checkout. He didn't answer. Before I paid, I asked him one more time if he could swipe the Ralph's card and he yelled at me. He said, "I did." I was shocked because I had asked him very politely. I shop every day and this is the first time I have been insulted so badly. I told him to calm down, please be polite. I said you don't need to be rude, I just asked because I didn't see it. He asked me why I asked twice. But when he asks these questions, he asks them out loud. Everyone was looking at us. I'm probably not the first person to be exposed to this rude person. I looked at his name badge to find out his name. He yelled at me, "I don't care, complain wherever you want. I'm really still in shock.

It's not the worst location that there is, but there are so often people that are stealing stuff and running out so you'll always see security there. My main issue is that last time I was there I had an order issue with my store pickup where I was charged the wrong amount. I tried going back inside and asking for a manager but the manager was on a register helping customers so she was both trying to help me out or listen to my issue while checking out guests. This did not work well and she said basically that I wasn't charged wrong (even though I was charged $20 more because a coupon didn't apply) and so I basically had to leave and contact customer service online. In my opinion, a manager shouldn't be permanently stuck engaged with other customers at a register the entire time.

Obviously, this Ralphs is having some kind of employee issues. I say that because I am currently here and there is not one employee working the checkout isles. Everyone has to check out at self check. I’d say there are approximately 15 people in line ahead of me. Would someone please bring me a pizza while I’m waiting to pay for my food? Considering the high prices of food, I should not have to stand in line to pay like this

A smaller Ralph's in the area. We still prefer Trader Joe's lower pricing though. Stopped by here to get the weekly deal on snow crab legs but the legs were rather small and pretty dried. They do however have Driscoll's Sweetest Batch Strawberries and Blackberries!

This Ralph's is interesting as I walked into it I thought it was the actual mall it's one of the biggest Ralphs I've ever been at in the middle of Culver City. This route had everything I mean everything it cannot compare to a whole foods with the expensive prices of everything but this Ralph's most definitely beats out a sprouts even a trader Joe's. One thing I like about this Ralphs is that it's next to all of these restaurants it's probably like 20 restaurants around this Ralph's. Ralph's really knows how to do grocery store food as you can see on the pictures all of these items are on discount and especially right now when things are inflated Ross is found a way how to bring down the prices on things which we really truly appreciate. I can't wait and look forward to coming back to Ralph's so I can get some of there delicious fresh groceries. You won't be able to miss this Ralph's it's right off of Venice boulevard.

I was baffled lol I get that a job is a job but she was so unfriendly to her coworkers as well. she also refused to scan a coupon i had which misprinted even though it clearly said the discount and the product but shoutout to the woman who bagged my groceries! she was super efficient and sweet, and even bagged in a rush when her rude coworker continuously left the belt running which shoved all of my groceries into the end of the counter.

On April 6, around 6 AM. I was trying to shop next to the egg area when I was trying to move around one of the Ralphs staff pushing bunch of shopping carts slightly blocking my way while another staff which I learned was the night manager shouted at me WATCH IT when he was passing on the other side of me. I tried to make a complaint, but the Ralphs staff was the night manager that shouted at me, he denied that it was him. I ask to talk to general manager but was given the assistant manager. I told her what happened and how the night manager denied that he shouted at me. I got several runaround with in store Ralphs management. I gave her my name and number but didnt receive a prompt call back. Also, the afternoon self checkout Ralphs staff not giving me time to process my own way of checkout before this Ralphs staff started pressing my screen and telling me what to do next which I didnt need her help and was distracting me causing me to loose my train of thought. And she diffidently didnt respect my social distance space. Honestly, I get better friendly service at Vons, Pravillons, and Spouts which Ill shop there more often especially on my expensive grocery like carnivore and keto foods. I shop at this location bc of convenience, not to receive rude, disrespectful, unfriendly attitude.

Always a solid experience at this Ralph s. It did take a little while to figure out their seemingly random floor layout, but after a few times I got it down. Never long lines, produce is always fresh, and there s plenty of deals especially if you download their app. Every time I open the app I m shocked at how good some of the deals are. Also a super solid spot for flowers! I always keep a fresh bouquet in the house for my girlfriend cause she loves them, and this Ralph s always has a ton of variety, beautiful selection, and killer prices when it comes to floral.

This place is horrible. Armed Loss Prevention wont let you in with a backpack, even though they let women in with purses. Clear gender discrimination. They also have an after 5pm cashback policy, forcing you to pay two separate cashback fees if you need more than $100 cashback. DiGiorno once sent me a manufacturers coupon for a free pizza, and when I tried to use it here, they accused me of using a counterfeit coupon. Their actual prices dont always match their price tags, and when you tell their manager about it, the problem remains when you return weeks later. I recommend Smart & Final down the street instead. Edit: If I could give this place zero stars I would. Just tried using one of their own coupons and they refused to take it.

Robert (big guy), who was watching over self checkout, started yelling that the bags are not free because I went n grabbed one of those fancy grocery bags (cost $1 or $2) from the counter. I hadnt even returned to my self-checkout yet. I sensed the disrespect. So, I voided my transaction which was around $29 and walked out the store. For some reason he thought I couldnt/wont pay for the bag even tho Ive been shopping at this location regularly since 2017 and spend at least $350 a month. I dont expect 5 star treatment every time but know your regular customers and dont disrespect them. Time to shop somewhere else.

I honestly dont think there is a worse grocery experience in all of the US. They installed large self checkouts to replace traditional checkout. All so they can pay their employees less and get free labor from the public. A shameless blatant cash grab. Just pay your employees. Sprouts down the road is much better.

( $150,00 worth approx.) Otherwise, Id been late to my appointment 4:30 afternoon appointment. I and others did noticed all of the self heck out pay machines open. Figures, trying to save on the budget, and losing customers at the same time. No wonder hired personnel dont last very long after hired, burned out one employee doing the job if three. Get real! No more Ralphs for me, nor the people I have been sharing my experience with. Coming Soon!!!!! Hundreds of Ralphs Markets closing. And, we already know why. It S CKS! 1 cash register open at 9am this morning but the cashier was doing the best she could with the line. There were legit 20 employees there doing random things so I thought it was odd to only have one register open but it is what it is. I m giving them a 1 star for their toxic work environment. I watched some manager names Ivette speak completely out of line to the cashier. Everyone in line was shocked. To the point I had to speak up and ask her if she thinks that is the correct way to speak to people which she ignored. I apologized to the cashier in her behalf because I felt bad that a grown woman was spoken to that way by her manager especially in front of a line of customers . What kind of adult speaks like that to a coworker? There is no way this is the first time. She was clearly comfortable acting unhinged to her staff and in front of customers. Someone needs to do something about Ivette.

Always something with this Ralphs. Antiquated software that doeant let me bypass my pin. Been like this for years in the off chances that I do shop here. Since they are technically in Culver City I suppose that explains why they are relatively so expensive. Went in for a gallon of distilled water and it was 2.99 (cheapest they had) instead of the average $1 like everywhere else. Just seems like you are paying a lot more for the same stuff. I felt like I was paying Whole Foods pricing for Ross like shopping.

Another day, another bad experience at this Ralphs. Came in to grab a few things. It was busy. The self checkout line extended down the aisle and almost to the back of the store. I requested and paid for, 4 bags, but as I was scanning, the cue behind me was getting longer. Having just waited, I emphasized, scan and paid for my items quickly and put them in my cart unbagged. I used the register next to the attendant, Cathy R. Who reacted to me request for a bag as though Id asked for money. I moved out the line and pushed my cart ahead so that I could bag them properly without holding the line. I noticed the Cathy person gave me 5 bags instead of 4, so I went to hand the extra one back. Why did this Cathy R. person leave the line they were supposed to be helping, and come over to accuse me of stealing by not scanning all of my items? Thought it was a joke, till they stood there waiting. I gave them (I dont know the individuals gender) the receipt, and continued bagging. They when though all my items and then after finding nothing told me it was suspicious that I pull ahead to bag my items rather than bag them 3 feet away at the register. I explained to them they I was standing directly beside them, (less than two feet) when I scanned and paid, and that I pulled fewer than 3 feet to the side. All in plan view. I also pointed out that Id even given back the extra bag because I didnt pay for it. Apparently, none of this made a difference to Cathy R. Because they went on to berate me, and then pointed to other customers to say I should have done things like they had. All the while, the line behind them was growing, people were looking at me as though Id been caught. I explained that I have never stolen anything in my life, then this Cathy R. says that I had an attitude, and that I needed to calm down. Mind you, I never once changed my facial expression, tone or body language. The entire incident was designed to embarrass and humiliate me. I was the on black person at the register, and no surprise they didnt pull another person or hassle anyone but me. Dear Cathy R. and management. You cannot and will not embarrass me, because I am well bred and was raised properly. You only debase yourself with this blatantly biased behavior. Specifically to Cathy R. You should stop and ask yourself why youre in your 40s and handing out bags at a register. You will find that you have nothing but yourself to blame for being miserable. Maybe do something fulfilling? Maybe find a job not designed for 16 year olds and then you wouldnt have to resort to customer harassment to feel better about yourself.

A cut above in quality produce from other mainstream tier supermarkets and so I go there every other week for them. it though it feels like you are in a warehouse with the high shelves. Staff feels not only tired out these days but lackadaisical and not particularly caring whether you are there. I would not write this negative remark (I know COVID has stressed out staff) but Vons where I shop is a pleasure. The parking lot is super manageable unless you are directly in front of the store. The gum stuck on my tire pretty much sums up the experience. Cleaning practices these days are cavalier and do-it-yourself.

The manager order a case of our favorite champagne for us and arranged a day for us to pick it up. Good customer service. Plus they always have sales on bottles of alcohol and a great selection too. I have shopped at this Ralphs for 7 years!! I spend over 3000 a year here. I had my car damaged twice at Ralphs. Once from Ralphs leaving a large Boulder in the handicapped parking and crossing over the blue line. My door of my new car was severely scratched. I contracted the manager inside and she left me standing there for minutes. Then gives me the number to maintance. I called maintance and both numbers were out of service. So, I call the manager again, and they give me two more numbers, one for maintance and one for security. The security is out of service and the second number goes into a machine at which no one ever calls back. So, I call again a talk to a woman name Tracy who is the operations manager. She never calls me back. So, finally, I call corporate office and they tell me to call the store. They do not care about you at all. So sad.

This is hands down the worst Ralph s in Los Angeles. The store director Corey seems very incompetent. One of the front end managers were absolutely no help. There s about 3 lanes open with at least 15 customers and no the the store manager hasn t tried to do anything. The least he could ve done was get on a damn register. But he s walking around doing nothing.
Published at 3 years ago
Not a bad place really, they have good produce for where you re at, shelves are stocked and organized. But the thing that gets me, that I think is pretty important is that I can never find any of the workers on the floor, so if I m looking for something specific or have a question i have to search all over the store and it usually still goes unanswered. And this is probably an issue because of the times, again, it s still a good place.

Good shopping center.

This is the worst Ralphs ever. Shelves are always empty and there are always people working with big carts sitting in the isles often blocking the passage and unattended. Shopping there ends with having to go to another market to finish the shopping list. On top of missing stuff and empty shelves, there is a lot of mismarking (see pic with the cucumbers). They also have issues with checkout (see pics of lines), doesnt matter how many people are waiting, there are times only 2 cashiers are open; no 3 is a crowd here. Spoke to the manager as well as wrote Kroger about this store, no one seems to care.

Tony is probably the worst Ralph s manager one of the worst humans actually I ve ever encountered in my life. Super insecure, defensive/easily offended, and fake, and needs some serious charm school lessons. Will never shop there again, and I would suggest others follow suit, until he s freaking fired. That man needs a major wakeup call. Ralph s, you can do so much better than that.

Store has a bad layout and is always crowded. Be prepared to spend 5-10 minutes checking out. Parking is terrible.

Excellent Ralph s location. It s got all the amenities you re looking for at a grocery store, without being too packed and busy. Their deli section is a great place to get a fresh sandwich and other lunch time items that are prepared on the spot. Great selection of organic produce available, and their friendly staff are always helpful and busy restocking items to make them look perfectly displayed. I like how this Ralph s carries lots of dairy alternatives, vegan options and gluten-free choices. They also have a great clearance section for food and other items. Great clean store with lots of wide aisles so you don t feel claustrophobic. The parking lot is vast and located close to the store entrance.

I like this location but there are a few things that need to be addressed by the manager. First the restrooms are filthy every time I have been there. Second the produce is very water logged and the salads are already going bad even though they are not close to expiration. Otherwise the store is well stocked and the staff is always helpful and friendly.
