Today, I visited BJ's and enjoyed a salmon meal, which was good but my dining experience raised several concerns. My waiter was initially polite, but when I tried to pay with Apple Pay at the end of my meal, he told me it wouldn’t work because the cashier system didn’t recognize Apple Pay at his table. He insisted that my only options were debit or cash, which I didn’t have. This was perplexing since I always use Apple Pay at BJ's without issue.

Furthermore, the table behind me was told they couldn’t split their bill, even though there were only two of them. They seemed to accept it, but I found it unusual, as I've never encountered this rule at BJ's before.

After I left, I called the manager, who was very understanding and listened to my concerns. He explained that the waiter was new and that the establishment sometimes had problems with Apple Pay. He also mentioned that the waiter should have used his swipe card to process my Apple Pay transaction instead of stating it wasn’t accepted. This lack of transparency was weird making me feel uneasy about the establishment's integrity.

While I understand the challenges new staff members face, providing accurate information is super important. If they are uncertain, they should seek assistance rather than misinforming customers. Regarding the split payment, the manager confirmed that the waiter's claim was incorrect. I just think the waiter found it too difficult to handle.

Despite the good food and the manager's kindness, these issues left me dissatisfied with my experience at BJ's.

This establishment boasts a spacious and well-designed interior suitable for both formal and casual gatherings. During our lunch visit, we indulged in beer, salad, wings, and steak salad, all of which were of satisfactory quality. However, the service left much to be desired. The waitstaff seemed inattentive, requiring us to actively seek their attention. Additionally, we encountered dirty utensils, which detracted from the overall dining experience.

My friends and I stopped by here yesterday to burn time and watch game 1 of the nuggets game. Finding parking will vary here because it's near a busy mall. When we walked in, since we were a party of 8 we had to wait like 5 minutes to be seated. After we got seated, our waiter came to take our drinks order. I wanted a sprite and it was only after he took everyone else's other that he said I hope you like starry. I didn't really like the drink as much but I still drank it. We got the bone in wings with all lemon pepper for the spice. We then ordered boneless wings but got bbq sauce and lemon pepper for that. We also got 2 order of fries to complete our order. I thought the lemon pepper wings were delicious, it doesn't come with carrots so be aware. The fries were delicious like always. I didn't really like the bbq sauce on the boneless wing. We had a great experience here watching the NBA game and the service we received was good.

This has been the worst by far experience I have ever had at a BJ’s restaurant. My party of 4 came in around 11 pm. The host greeted us and told us how many and that she had availability for the bar . We told her we prefer a table if possible. She then told us she didn’t know when one would be available she shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. She Said if we were going to wait and we answered with, yes, please. Another family walked in a man and three young kids. The Same host greeted them. Same Question, how many in your party?. The man asked for a table she said we don’t have any available, but you can sit in the bar he asked how long would it be for a table? She shrugged her shoulders again and rolled her eyes and he said I’m sorry what does that mean? She said I just saying, I don’t know when we have one available . Then she said again while we have the bar open It’s empty you Can eat there. And the man said I have children. Children are not allowed to be at the bar. Then she looked at her watch and said oh it’s 11:30. Maybe they should not be out at this time. Then the other couple ahead of us told us that she was rude to them too . One of the servers ended up coming and talking to the man with his children, and they sat them Down to a table. After we were seated, our server came as this for our drinks and then our order. Waited for our food she did come and ask us if our food came our table was empty. As soon as the food came, she then came to the table and told us and just to let you know the kitchen is closed and walked away. We were eating and she never came to refill our drinks. She never asked if we needed anything. She came with the bill 5 mins in from us getting our food . Then 5 min after that she stood close to the table waiting for us to pay . We asked if we could have A Pazooki And she said like I said the kitchen’s closed and she rolled her eyes and said OK thank you. We had a little trouble with paying with the app and it was frustrating her that we weren’t paying fast. She then told us ugh Here can I have the receipt and I can do it from here. I couldn’t believe this was my experience here . I usually come with my family almost every week and spend $300 and up if a different location where they are amazing. Please please I ask for this location focus on good customer service this was terrible.

Let me tell you about lunch and their $13 dollar menu! Most definitely it will leave you full. Most definitely you can order again and your wallet won't feel pinched. I order the southern fried chicken and garvey with potatoes and baby yes. I'm going to spend more lunch times here .
Ohh and the have this wedge salad for like $6 bucks that just comes with all these toppings like a confetti party it's so enjoyable.

Yesterday my family and I had the pleasure of dining at BJs (Culver City) celebrating a graduation and a birthday. The food and ambiance were great but our server NELSON was AMAZING. He went above and beyond to ensure our table was thoroughly taken care of, provided great laughs and a memory for us that’ll last a lifetime. Thank you Nelson. We can’t wait to dine with you again.

The dessert was amazing! And waiter was sweet too. Overall, it appeared understaffed. When we got our food waited an extra 5minutes to get utensils to eat it. Waiter was busy and went to the bar to ask. Also when we were leaving.. we asked a male gentleman who was bringing out food to other tables for a Togo box.. almost all staff was so busy. No one got it for us until we went to the bar. Would go just for dessert.

This BJ Restaurant has terrible customers and the employees are very ungrateful. Im just doing a delivery for a customer. When I walked into the restaurant the employee was on her phone and not taking care of business. After about 5 to 7 minutes she finally said something and I felt that it shouldve been much sooner. She is the one with reddish-orange hair. The manager finally came out and she looked very busy and she did her best to resolve the problem. I felt like she did the best she couldve done, but her staff was very unprofessional, and a lot of them needed to be fired on the spot. I would never entertain guests there. Your employees need to get better

Probably one of the best sports bar in town. The food is good and plenty served. The pizookie experience is above anything. The fries are out of this world! The bartenders are really friendly, you feel home. Some wait though, bartenders are sometimes not enough to serve a full bar plus a restaurant.

All chairs (not booths) were disgustingly gross with black grease from hands, that made your clothes stick to the seat and left marks on my clothes. Food was good, I just hope the kitchen gets cleaned better than the tables and chairs.

I will never get their wings again. I have had them in the past and they were ok but this last time they were really bad so bad that I am mad at myself for eating them and not sending them back. They did not taste freshly made they tasted old and like they tried to warm them up and they added more seasoning so they were dry over salty and not good. Food is just so bad theses days I just didnt have the energy to send it back but I definitely should have! I wontale either of those mistakes again. Update While I stand by my last review about the wings I did revise the overall score and score for food. I went last night to their Happy Hour for the first time and it was not bad. The sliders were a little dry but they were edible and you get 5 per order most places give you between 1 and 3. So 5 is great and they make a great Margarita, especially for $5 good Margaritas are not that easy to find nowadays but I will be back for more sliders and Margaritas those alone are worth the price of admission. Between the 2 of us we had 3 Margaritas 3 beers and order of sliders, wings and fries and that came out to $66. Ill take that as a win! Update 9/14/24 I have been to this BJs several times since my last review and I have had modify it to only 2 stars. I cant remember the last time I walked away happy from a meal here. I keep searching for things to like on the menu and I am done! I have decided the pizokie is the only thing I will order from here if I ever even return. The wings never taste fresh. The chips taste stale even when I sent them back they came back tasting the same. The steak meat ribs are over cooked and dry. I tried the fish and chips last night it didnt taste good either. I took it home for my dog. Even the house margaritas that I loved are hit and miss. The first one is usually very good and then after that not so much. There seems to be a quality control problem, the good seems to be reheated and passes off as fresh. Its a same because I want to like it. The wait staff is nice and the atmosphere is nice too but the food and drinks are way below standard. I hear other locations are much better I wouldnt know I havent been to any others and I probably wont. Ive had it with this place it sucks! Oh yeah the deep di sh pizza is bad too. It tastes like a loaf of bread.

If you go to this location and get LEWIS as a server change IMMEDIATELY idk if he was high or something be he managed to get my whole order wrong. I ordered.... - Pan seared pot stickers -Ribeye steak with mushroom and onion toppings - loaded mash potatoes - broccoli What I got - Fried pot stickers - Ribeye steak no toppings - double loaded mash potatoes - no broccoli at all The Manager was nice but only took the pot stickers off my bill I just packed my food up and left.

Dont get me wrong its a nice place but for years everytime I go I get stuck in a cluster with other customers in the same 2 sections. I have never enjoyed to diverse seating areas. Manager talks too much , dudes in cruise Control. I expect an experience, at minimal sit where I want. The servers dont mind. Trust me I asked. But this years old policy of not using every section is played. In addition the options for non meat eaters dont exists, its a menu full if snacks , rare I see a meal. The limited options remind me of why I only go for the cookie

I frequently visit this establishment to unwind and indulge in a refreshing beverage and meal. The bartender, Juan, is exceedingly courteous and professional. His creations for me were exquisitely prepared, bringing my experience to perfection. My meat was cooked to medium rareness, which was exemplary. Additionally, the pleasant atmosphere of the place made it an ideal venue for enjoyment of the baseball game that was taking place. I dont know whats going on with us this week, but I found us at another place that served us cold food. Our server was great and helpful, but the food came cold and overcooked. My daughter ordered a burger and fries cold, and she was unhappy. My rib plate came ribs overcooked burnt and hard to eat, and my sides were cold. Margaritas was good, though. I should have just drank and not ate. For 100.00 bill, I should be writing a better review.

RUDEST waiter ever!!! This waiter was rude, like barked at us and rushed us from start to finish. My niece felt he was mean and my brother was about to ask for a different waiter but did not (they are regulars). Didnt get his name but hes the mid-aged Hispanic guy with black glasses, sweaty drippy hair and bit of a belly. We eat out often, are easy going and very cordial people. The atmosphere was perfect for an afternoon with the family. Service was awesome. Our waitress Channel was friendly & professional and very accommodating. My mom wanted the Jambalaya but didn t want it spicy and when she got her meal it she was pleasantly surprised. Channel put in the request not to make it spicy and it came out perfect.

I usually am satisfied when I eat at BJS, but this particular location I havent been to that much, maybe 3 times. Anyway, the was good so was the atmosphere. My one complaint is that the food was dry and cold! I dont get how this happened when it was no more than 2 hours after it opened and it wasnt crowded. The food was very disappointing. A waste of money on this trip. I dont get how if its not crazy busy how my food could be so cold. I dont like sending food back with a complaint because I wouldnt trust it when it comes back. Do better BJS chefs! Get your food out like you would want it if you were a customer.

This is one of my favorite BJ s locations to visit hands down ! The staff, the food as well as the overall vibe is just unmatched! The location I worked at in North Las Vegas pales in comparison to this location in Culver City ! :) Vegetarian options: The Avocado rolls are actually amazing !

Yesterday my family and I had the pleasure of dining at BJs (Culver City) celebrating a graduation and a birthday. The food and ambiance were great but our server NELSON was AMAZING. He went above and beyond to ensure our table was thoroughly taken care of, provided great laughs and a memory for us that ll last a lifetime. Thank you Nelson. We can t wait to dine with you again.

This has been the worst by far experience I have ever had at a BJ s restaurant. My party of 4 came in around 11 pm. The host greeted us and told us how many and that she had availability for the bar . We told her we prefer a table if possible. She then told us she didn t know when one would be available she shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes. She Said if we were going to wait and we answered with, yes, please. Another family walked in a man and three young kids. The Same host greeted them. Same Question, how many in your party?. The man asked for a table she said we don t have any available, but you can sit in the bar he asked how long would it be for a table? She shrugged her shoulders again and rolled her eyes and he said I m sorry what does that mean? She said I just saying, I don t know when we have one available . Then she said again while we have the bar open It s empty you Can eat there. And the man said I have children. Children are not allowed to be at the bar. Then she looked at her watch and said oh it s 11:30. Maybe they should not be out at this time. Then the other couple ahead of us told us that she was rude to them too . One of the servers ended up coming and talking to the man with his children, and they sat them Down to a table. After we were seated, our server came as this for our drinks and then our order. Waited for our food she did come and ask us if our food came our table was empty. As soon as the food came, she then came to the table and told us and just to let you know the kitchen is closed and walked away. We were eating and she never came to refill our drinks. She never asked if we needed anything. She came with the bill 5 mins in from us getting our food . Then 5 min after that she stood close to the table waiting for us to pay . We asked if we could have A Pazooki And she said like I said the kitchen s closed and she rolled her eyes and said OK thank you. We had a little trouble with paying with the app and it was frustrating her that we weren t paying fast. She then told us ugh Here can I have the receipt and I can do it from here. I couldn t believe this was my experience here . I usually come with my family almost every week and spend $300 and up if a different location where they are amazing. Please please I ask for this location focus on good customer service this was terrible.

My friends and I stopped by here yesterday to burn time and watch game 1 of the nuggets game. Finding parking will vary here because its near a busy mall. When we walked in, since we were a party of 8 we had to wait like 5 minutes to be seated. After we got seated, our waiter came to take our drinks order. I wanted a sprite and it was only after he took everyone elses other that he said I hope you like starry. I didnt really like the drink as much but I still drank it. We got the bone in wings with all lemon pepper for the spice. We then ordered boneless wings but got bbq sauce and lemon pepper for that. We also got 2 order of fries to complete our order. I thought the lemon pepper wings were delicious, it doesnt come with carrots so be aware. The fries were delicious like always. I didnt really like the bbq sauce on the boneless wing. We had a great experience here watching the NBA game and the service we received was good. This place is great! I come here often to watch sporting events and I often order food and drinks. The staff and nice and respectful. Service is 10/10. Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza is delicious! Parking: Park in the free parking structure and walk over.

During our lunch visit, we indulged in beer, salad, wings, and steak salad, all of which were of satisfactory quality. However, the service left much to be desired. We were here from out of town and came here cause we heard great things about it. Food was good but the service was beyond awful. Emma F. #247 was our waitress. She avoid all her tables all night. The table next to us had been sitting waiting just to be greeted for over 20 minutes and had to go to the front to ask for a server. She never came back asking if we needed refills or anything. We had to flag her down or other people to get help. Portable was sticky and dirty from prior guest and asked her and another waitress a couple times if we can have it cleaned. Had been served food but had to wait to get waitresses attention for silverware and napkins. Told the front desk as we left and they just said ok. No apology or anything. This may be the first time I wished I didnt tip but I still did. This ruined our whole experience and food was not worth this horrible 2 hour service.

I called BJ at 7:45 am, BJ opens later. Felix answered the phone and was so patient with me. I asked a couple of questions and he was kind enough to answer them. I am definitely calling and going to the location on fox hills mall. This experience has encouraged me to call and I m confident they will answer even at 7:45 am.

As a regular that comes to the bar here at BJ s often, I can totally rave about Bartender JR s service and kindness in receiving us every time we are here. He is dedicated and hardworking! Always ensuring that we are enjoying our visit! He takes the time to care for his customers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere which has us revisiting BJ s just to see him behind the bar! The deep dish pizza is mediocre at best. Minimal cheese with little flavor, sub-par toppings, and a flavorless crust that has too much yeast. And its grossly over-priced if not bought with the Monday 50% discount. How bad was it? My usually hungry teenage son was done after only a few slices and didnt want the leftovers. Neither did I. And the service was bad too: no one brought a setup (napkin and cutlery) for me even after the pizza was delivered; and it took forever to get my credit card run. No reason to go there for the pizza. My son says that the burgers and some other dishes are better, which is why Im giving 2 stars instead of one.

Management is lacking and its apparent in the food and cleanliness. The bathrooms were disgusting. Rubber gloves in the urinal, toilet paper strung all over the floor. Napkins in the sink. Trash looks like it was last taken out last month. The food was decent but we found things in our food that didnt belong to that particular dish. i.e. beans in the chicken fettuccine, corn in the ahi tuna appetizer, spaghetti in the penne pasta. Albeit minor, it speaks to the cleanliness of the overall restaurant. Our service was fine but ultimately ruined by the other factors.

So I wish I could attach video after waiting 25 min for service horrible waitress standing behind us while taking the order that was slow and cold to then be told that we couldnt watch the Laker game because the warriors fans were here Althouthe large center TV was on college 4 Square.

The service and food were excellent. There was a party of 12 of us. Not one person had a complaint. The prices were good also. Vegetarian options: Pizza and Ceasar salad. Parking: There was plenty of parking and also handicap parking.

If I had the privilege to give -1000 stars, I would. I am sick in bed with Food Poisoning from this. First off, drinks were all terrible. From Regular Lemonade, to Strawberry Lemonade, and Orange Cream Soda. It tastes like someone just barfed into my glass. My friends and I ordered Chicken Parmigiana, Lemon Pepper Wings, and a Tri-Tip Combo with a Chicken Breast, French Fries, and a Baked Potato. The wings were average. BUT Everything else was beyond horrid and detestable. My chicken parmigiana tasted like it was microwaved. The pasta I had with it was the worst. First off, the presentation looked like someone from Italy dissected a dog, and tasted horrible. The tomato sauce was disgusting. The French Fries were so cold, I would have rather chewed on Starbucks Ice. Don t get me started on the steak. It was so chewy and tasteless I had a hard time swallowing it. I was tempted to order my favorite Oreo Pizookie but NOPE! Never again and never will I ever go back to any BJ s Restaurant out of the most richest cities in Southern California.

I ve never written a review before for a restaurant until this experience. I came here on 11/21/23, I was here to celebrate Friendsgiving with a few friends. I was reluctant to first come here to celebrate after my friend s bad experience with a waiter months ago. I thought why not try it again and give it another chance. So it was fine so far, we got our table and ordered.. my friend ordered the Surf n Turf Steak same as me, except I ordered mine medium rare and she ordered hers medium well. My two other friends both ordered the porkchops. Minutes went by as we placed our order and then our waiter comes back to tell us that they had ran out of the Surf and Turf Steak and the Pork-chop, only enough for one person who each ordered it. I had never heard this before at a restaurant so I was a little shocked. To comply, my two other friends had to order something else. While waiting, I noticed on my side of the table wasnt cleaned efficiently as I saw what appeared to be a sticky soda stain of some sort. Food arrives and I was excited because the steak looked good! But once I cut into it, its not medium rare; they must ve confused my order with my friends. I had to notify our waiter and after telling him, he asked me if I wanted something but I didnt know if that meant if it would be free or not. As I didnt want to pay for another dish to get disappointed by, I hesitantly said I was fine. As mentioned, I was disappointed with my meal but had to eat it anyway because I hadnt eaten all day since I was anticipating the meal. Our waiter for the day had to head out for the night, so he told us a waitress will now be serving us. I forgot her name already, but she sounded and looked as if she was sleepy. Me and my friend wanted refills and for 20 minutes or around there, she didnt come back to our table just to check up on us. Finishing our meals, we think about dessert and why not their pizookies. I was also excited for the pizookie as I was hoping it would be the better one of the night. So we all order 3 pizookies to eat our table. About 30+ minutes pass by waiting on our pizookies, our waitress comes back and gives us 3 pizookies. I recognize that my pizookie isnt the strawberry shortcake one and I asked her that this isnt what I ordered. She realizes that she gave us another tables order and takes them back. Me and my friend decide to cancel our orders due to the long wait. We asked her why it takes so long and she told us because theres so many pizookie orders. Take that for what you will, but the restaurant didnt even look that busy. Ive been to BJs before, but it wasnt like this. Just a horrible experience overall.
