Had a beautiful dinner at Juliet yesterday! It s such a charming space with a large patio and interior space. Service was excellent and they do a great job accommodating dietary restrictions. We tried the poisson cru, cauliflower, risotto, classic salad, and sea bream. All were fabulous, bursting with flavors and super well-balanced. We left the meal feeling full but not heavy and already talking about coming back soon!

This is our third dining experience at Juliet. first two were fine, causing us to come back a third evening with a new couple. This time a few items stood out to me indicating that the chef is trying to cut down on his food costs. First, the chicken liver mousse which was very small to begin with was now tricked up and the mousse that was there was 1/4 of an inch. Secondly the scallop were presented as four scallops lonely sitting on a plate with nothing else, not a vegetable, a garnish. The straw that broke this diners back was the chocolate mousse dessert which was served in a childs TEA CUP. There was not enough in that cup to get one spoonful OK they charge high prices, but you dont want to feel like you have been ripped off after you pay the bill, and are not full. Parking: only used valet paaRKING

Great food and drinks at Juliet. Enjoyed the cigars, and entrees, they all hit! Much better than their cross town competition Cou Cou or poo poo or whatever it s called in Venice. Didn t love sitting on the patio as it was kind of noisy with cars driving by so I would recommend sitting inside. Overall excellent experience! Vegetarian options: Meatless options Dietary restrictions: They accommodate Parking: I was able to find parking immediately on the street, but it can be difficult if all the spots are taken Kid-friendliness: No Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

If you want to pay a lot for mediocre food, then this is the place for you. The portion sizes are ridiculously small for the price point if you re gonna charge that much for chicken at least make it unique or interesting. It was neither. The service was OK the waiter mumbled and when we made a mistake on the bill he said he couldn t fix it. Don t believe that hype.

I ve lived in this area for over 10 years and walk past this spot all the time. Finally went in for lunch with my daughter. It wasn t busy at all (it was around 2ish) but the hostess wasn t at her station so after a few minutes we walked inside and the bartender noticed us and chatted us up, when the hostess walked over she asked us what we wanted. Not welcome , how can I help you? But was very rude. I asked if there was a hostess. She said there was and nothing else. I then said, yeah we d love to grab a bite . Then she walked us over to the front booth, handed us menus, looked over her monitor, and then was like, yes, how can I help you? My daughter and I just looked at each other confused. I said, uh yeah, would still like to grab a bite. She sat us down and was just so weird from that point on. I was so uncomfortable that I just smiled and muscled my way through for sake of my daughter. However, the service got better when a gentleman (the bartender actually) stepped in eventually and the food (although small portions and extremely overpriced) was very delicious. I give reviews on GQ and Condé Nast Traveler all the time, recommending spots to dine at. Not sure about this one though

Tranquil and beautiful space for a chill lunch or romantic dinner. Very Parisian chic vibes. The prices are on the higher end, but that is what it is these days. We got the poisson cru (lovely taste), salade classique (pretty decent), and a croque madame (hearty and tasty). The wine was nice as well, but again, fairly bonkers in price. Service was up to par, but far from outstanding. They charge a 4% (optional) fee for their service staff, but you can request to take this off. Vegetarian options: It s a small menu, but there were a handful of vegetarian options.

I m giving a one-star review because I m deeply disappointed. This was not the experience I expected from this restaurant. My husband, who had been fasting all day, and I arrived at 7:00 PM and ordered two meals simultaneously. His risotto arrived at 7:40 PM, and my scallops, which I had been waiting an hour for, arrived at 7:55 PM. The scallops, unfortunately, did not taste good at all, featuring just four on the plate. We called the waiter over and requested a dish change due to the poor taste. Subsequently, we ordered the bass, promised within 10 minutes, yet it arrived 22 minutes later. In total, I waited 1 hour and 22 minutes for my meal. The staff seemed indifferent to our situation. We weren t even asked if we enjoyed our meals. They barely allowed us to speak, quickly leaving after serving the food without giving me a chance to ask anything. Leaving the restaurant, I felt very sad, having anticipated a pleasant evening with good service and delicious food, only to have a very unpleasant experience. No discounts were offered. Initially charged $100, the waiter then adjusted the receipt to $110. Honestly, I lacked the energy to argue or discuss this further. Despite everything, I left a $10 tip, though I m not sure why.

We basically ate our way through the whole menu, and let me tell you, this place knows what its doing. Modern French cuisine with a California twist. Dishes were packed with flavor, interesting textures, the whole nine yards. Standouts? The amberjack, the bluefin tuna, that endive salad (who knew salad could be so good?), the risotto, and oh lord, those scallops. Seared to perfection. And listen, Im usually the person who side-eyes the vegetable options, but that endive salad? Chefs kiss. Each leaf was primped and preened like a debutante, and the flavor was just as elegant. Service was on point. Our server the bald fellow, a true gem kept the banter flowing and the water glasses topped off. Great drinks across the board, and hey, even their fancy non-alcoholic stuff was tasty. Validated parking for $15? Well, its not free, but it eases the sting of such a fabulous meal.

@lydieats Gorgeous spot with a modern French menu located in Culver City. Juliet has the wine bar charm but with plenty of real estate to relax and enjoy. The food and vibes both feel decorated without being loud - very clean girl. Start with the tarama. It s a whipped cod dip with dill oil served with breakfast radish slices. If you re like me and have been super into the tinned fish trend, you ll find joy in the fishy flavor. The refreshing radish bites def balance out the brine but could be a tad too pungent if you re not into that. The chicken liver tartlet is a must! The rich mousse and the crunchy hazelnuts taste perfect. It sits on top of the apple gelée so make sure to scrape it off the metal plate. It s tiny and expensive, but this is the splurge you re working for. The risotto is quite basic, and pricey for what it is. A simple acquerello rice base with mistake mushrooms and sage. Kinda salty and lacks depth. tarama $18* mousse au foie de voille $18* risotto aux champignons $32 A very pretty modern French restaurant! It has the feel of a wine bar and the open space unique to Cali is attractive. It has a romantic atmosphere in the evening, and it will be even prettier during brunch as it is filled with natural light. The dish served with cute radishes is tarama. Its a creamy dip with cod, and it has a strong fish flavor that whets your appetite. If you eat it with radish, the balance is good, but it still seems like a difference between likes and dislikes. I highly recommend the chicken liver tart!! The combination of rich mousse and hazelnuts is amazing. Put it on top of the apple gel, so scrape it off and eat it. Pass on the risotto. Its a very common taste and its just salty so I dont like it.

Food is good nothing to come back for with exception of the cauliflower which was amazing. My wife also enjoyed her scallops. I had the duck cigars and the chicken and they were ok. I think the most important thing is that they sneak in a 4% restaurant fee on every bill that is optional and you can remove but feels so scammy. Your food is already expensive and you add this. Just add it to the price of food and be transparent about it at least. I asked them to remove and they did to their credit but it left a bitter taste for me

French restaurant at the Platform with one of the most delicious desserts I ve ever had. Came here for dinner prior to catching a show at the nearby Kirk Douglas theater and made a reservation online in advance. Had the tarama to start, which is a light start to the meal. We got the salad classique per our waiter s recommendation, and really enjoyed the tumeric flavor in the dressing. I had the poulet roti which came atop a bed of grilled veggies and I really enjoyed it. My sister s scallops were super rich and the table s favorite. The lamb chops would be the next favorite. The fish is a good option for someone looking for something a bit lighter. Metered street parking available at a further walk or you can park at the garage. Credit cards accepted. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The tables are kind of small so I wouldn t recommend groups bigger than 4 coming. Definitely get the dessert even if you re full - the mousse au chocolate is a must-have. The little chocolate pearls on top of the velvety smooth mousse was a perfect combination of textures and it wasn t too sweet (the ultimate compliment by my parents).

Endives were good. Risotto was just ok. Dont bother with the oysters. $18 for 3. They were small. A little fishier than they should be. Very salty and unbalanced. Lacking brightness you hope for. Might have helped if they included some citrus. Le Sage has peppercorn, which I like but has way more than it should. $150. Still hungry. Do yourself a favor and just go to Etta.

In principle, nice, but food is a hit or miss - for the price I d like more consistency. Starters (crudo, Tamara, classic salad) were tasty. My main course (sea bream, $48) which came highly recommended by the staff was over cooked and so salty, I could only eat a few bites. I let the waiter know and would have expected the largely untouched dish to not be charged or some other courtesy but only got a quick I let the chef know in return. Probably not again.

In a sea of mediocre fine dining options, JULIET stands above the crowd. Its one of the few places weve been at this price point that feels justified, and the food, service, and ambiance are all in sync with providing a great, luxurious experience. Beautifully crafted dishes in a beautiful environment. Got the charred broccoli, grilled zucchini, and duck cigars (egg rolls), and a sashimi-esque dish. All dishes were tasty, but the main stars were the charred broccoli (almost had a familiar Chinese take out feel to it, but a deeper flavor profile that kept you wondering), and the sashimi-seque dish (buttery and bright acid to balance). Interior is beautiful, very understated. Great drink selection, and even had good mocktails. Would recommend!

A true Parisian Fine Dining Experience in Los Angeles... We are all fabulous foodies and love to indulge ourselves in an array of dining experiences. From Bali to Paris, Los Angeles to Vietnam, food is always part of the journey. From the business model of the 3 investors Rohan Talwar of IB Hospitality, and Runyon Groups Joseph Miller and David Fishbein, they took out all stops and created a fine dining experience not matched by many. Somewhere between a fresh, backlit downtown Culver City and Paris, is this little gem located at 8888 (excellent address) Washington Boulevard. We were a party of 6. I was honored to be the gentleman invited on this soirée entre femmes. From the moment you arrive, it is obvious this team is there to make your dining experience one to remember. Drinks were ordered and the evening was off to a fabulous start. As the starters were placed, we were met with tastes that delighted every taste bud one by one. If there were awards for mmms and ahhhs, the chef and Sous Chef would have a room full. Chapeau au chef

Was hesitant to visit this place after the mixed reviews and ended up agreeing with a lot of whats been said. The staff was perfectly polite, but kept commenting on how amazing our experience was, despite it being pretty mundane. First, I had reserved a table inside. When we met the hostess, she said I have an amazing table for you. Turned out to be on the patio. My date didnt want to make a fuss, but know that if you sit outside the traffic noise will make conversation difficult. Our waiter was friendly and did his best with recommendations. We ordered the crudo, the cod, the scallops, an asparagus special and the bread. EVERYTHING WAS OVER SEASONED TO THE EXTREME. if you love salt, youll love this place, but IMHO they ruined very well thought out flavors and textures with so much finishing salt. Finally, the prices were ridiculous. $100 per person with 1 drink each, avoiding the signature $$$$ dishes. Will not return, doubt theyll be around much longer. Several empty tables 8p on a Friday.

We visited here back in March but it was such a disappointment. Id skip on this restaurant. I was excited to try a new French restaurant and saw this opened in Culver City. We made a reservation for the patio. We ordered the whipped cod dip, duck cigars, eggplant, lamb chop, and had the cheesecake for dessert. The cod dip was underwhelming and served with just raw radishes. The eggplant was pretty good but had more of an Asian flavor and didnt look very appetizing. The lamb chop... wow it was so small for the price and part of it close to the bone was basically raw. The duck cigars were just okay and pretty heavy. The cheesecake was also just okay. The only good thing was that they gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary.

This restaurant should be called Molly, not Juliet. Because that s what we felt we were on while eating their food. It was just one of those enchanted and magical evenings where the food was impeccable, the service was warm and fast, and the night air was dancing. My husband and I sat outside right by this gorgeous little tree that just accentuated our entire experience. We ordered the following: Mousse au Foie de Volaille (chicken liver mousse tart) Poisson Cru Salade D endives Aubergine Rôti Cigares de Confit de Canard (don t even talk to me if you don t order this) Their steak off the special menu. I ordered a glass of white, Aligoté. And my husband a (few) glasses of red, Mourvedre. Both were excellent white wines. Mine compliment the seafood so incredibly well. All our dishes were full of umami and coated our palates with so much flavor, were refined and well-seasoned, and we left satisfied. Our server Irving was a gem. Such a professional! The host was so kind and fun. This place is going to blow up; get a res while you still can.

Juliet, located at 8888 Washington Boulevard in Culver City, California, is a visually stunning restaurant that boasts an incredible attention to detail. From the perfectly arranged table settings to the design and decoration, its clear that the owners of Juliet spared no expense in making their establishment look beautiful. Unfortunately, while Juliets aesthetic is impressive, their food falls short. Despite an extensive menu, the dishes fail to deliver on the high expectations that the restaurants appearance sets. While there is a commendable selection of wine available, this alone is not enough to justify a return visit to eat at. Would come back for drinks and to enjoy the atmosphere. However, its worth noting that Juliets staff are friendly. Despite the food being a disappointment, the service provided by the waitstaff leaves a positive impression. All in all, Juliet is an excellent example of a restaurant that has fantastic potential but falls short in execution. While there are certainly elements that can be commended, ultimately the food is lacking and must be improved if the establishment wishes to continue making a name for itself.

we were so excited to try JULIET! the server jordan was great! very polite and provided great recommendations. the food and drinks were delicious. once we placed our orders the food came out pretty quickly. i made a resy about a week in advance. upon arrival we checked in at the hostess stand. greeting was flat. it was a bit chilly and i am typically always cold so we wanted to sit inside. the hostess seemed annoyed by this ask. another hostess approached and said we ll seat you at great table (i sensed some sarcasm but ignored it from the gentleman in the blue suit). we were seated inside at table directly near the door on the left side a round table. hence the sarcasm. the table directly across on the opposite side stood empty the entire time we were there. we were slightly annoyed but didn t let it ruin the experience. i just want to add parties of two arrived shortly after us and were seated inside at tables not near the door where there was no draft. additional notes: the pathway to the rest room is cramped/inconvenient.

How you know you found a great place to eat is when you re the only person there on a random Thursday morning and it s banging food. What critic goes to a restaurant during the week alone and gets oysters and smoked fish? The quality of the oysters were a sold 11/10. Old school oyster guy and they blew my mind. Cucumber and Roe with Oysters GTFOH. So delicious. I might ask for cucumber next time I order oysters. The smoked salmon was beautiful. Perfect temp on the dish. Perfect flavor. The chèvre (it s cream cheese lol) was something I will dream about years from now. The bread was so perfectly done it may have been the star of the show. Together, simply perfect. I can see how getting there may suck but how do you blame a place for someone s ability to park near it. If you are faced with a wait, wait. There s a reason things we love take a long time. Very appreciative of the friendly staff and great service. I don t know LA at all but I know food. Beautiful space and staff.

We had dinner at Juliet and it was unfortunately not what I expected. Service: The biggest pain point IMO was the service. We didnt get any explanation on the menu, recommendations or the concept of the restaurant. Only after we asked it was mentioned to us that its a sharing concept. The service person would also be not educated on simple hospitality rules, e.g. dont take the plate while the other person is still eating. Furthermore, claiming their expertise in wine, we didnt get one recommendation on wine for our food choices. Food: After ordering two starters, which both arrived consecutively, we asked the ever changing waiters to please bring all the mains together. This message didnt make it to the kitchen apparently. One of the main came still separately, which was a veggie dish we wanted to accompany our meat. Price/Value: Quality and taste was good, but not justifying the price tag. Wouldnt go there again.

We had dinner there last night. I ll rate it as a solid 3 out 5; food was good and you can see they are caring about presentation and combination (would give it a 4). But service was not what i expect in that kind of restaurant, too many people involved, which caused chaos at the end. Further their sharing concept did not get explained to us right away, also we ve asked to get mains together which did not work-out at the end. What i have overall missed is to transport some sort of passion for food and service, it felt a bit like BAU but no wow effect. Fair to say for value of money (2 ppl, 370 USD) did not pay off for me.

The reviews do not lie. Juliet is a true gem in Culver City with perfect ambiance. From the overhead heater to the patio seating that shares an indoor/outdoor vibe with the bar, to the seat cushions and table size and decorations, everything is well thought through and truly high quality. I had not had proper French food before Juliet and so I thought I didn t care for it, but I am now a convert. If you go, you MUST get the duck cigars. I am not a fan of duck but this was done so well that the outer portion of the roll melts in your mouth to reveal a mouthwateringly tender braised duck inside. We are addicted to branzino and we order it almost everywhere we go, but this was unlike anything else. The fish was meaty enough but consistent in bite all the way through (not crunchy on the outside and soft inside), just a smooth meaty bite all the way through. The ratatouille it was paired with was, I can only imagine, Remy the rat s proudest creation. For dessert, we indulged in a Parisian hot chocolate and brown butter madeleines which were warm - chef s kiss. Finally and most importantly, they had a selection of over 1000+ bottles of wine. The chabli was sublime Overall, I highly agree with the reviews that this place felt like a pre-Michelin restaurant. It s got service, ambiance, uniqueness, flavor, and wine quality going for it and if you want Mantzke but affordable and a la carte, give Juliet a try.

Fantastic cocktails in a gorgeous atmosphere. I ordered the Coco Chanel rum based drink and it took me by surprise. Very light in body and theres a granulated coconut cream half-rim that complete s every sip. Im looking forward to a date night here! Look out for the updated review. I wanted to LOVE this restaurant; waiting area was crowded so we left after waiting more than 45 minutes for a confirmed reservation. To add insult to injury I received a text 1hr 10mins letting me know my table was ready. Restaurant had my number and could have texted or called to let us know they were in the weeds. Staff was unapolegetic I will wait until this place works out their management issues (if I even return). Fortunately, Culver City has many other fantastic places to eat. Etta across the street is FANTASTIC! Parking: Culver City is a nightmare for parking - valet parking is available but difficult to access due to bus lane. Self parking is only available at the structure at Landmark for $8 flat rate.

The food really was a love story. Ricotta gnocchi with saffron butter, dressed oysters with trout roe, bluefin tuna carpaccio, sliced amberjack with Meyer lemon ponzu, a classic salad, finished with a passion fruit gelee cheesecake #

Vibe: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Music: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Coffee: 5/5 Water: 6/5 Came here for breakfast with my friend and we had an amazing time! The aesthetic/vibe was beautiful, chill and modern French. We ordered croque madam, ratatouille and the crêpe they were delicious and authentically made. We also each got the cappuccino yummy. The best part of our experience was our server who diligently and thoughtfully refilled our water glasses, because we told him we re trying to drink more water and stay hydrated. Again highly recommend for a weekend breakfast/brunch. Would definitely be back! :)

$200 for two...food was scarce and less than average. We had most of the starters and nothing impressed me. The eggplant was tasteless, the ricotta gnocchi w/ saffron was awful, and the broccoli laden with ponzu and salt was bad. They did put a sparkler on the madeleine desert and offered each of us a glass if champagne in celebration of my friends birthday. I am amazed that some restaurants can serve mediocre food and get business.

Top notch food and service. Comfortable and just the right amount of casual. Food was excellent top to bottom. Great wine list with a nice selection of french wines. A little loud - they could fix that easily with a few sound absorbing tiles. Can t wait to go back.

Been here twice now. First time was Valentines Day, and the patio was not usable due to wind/cold...it was a bit overcrowded and underwhelming, but the food quality itself was good enough we gave the place another shot. So glad we did! The wine selection is fantastic...the cocktails are decent but not standout. The food is really, really good. The eggplant and the oysters with roe are worth coming back for. Its an expensive outing and the portions are on the small side, but the service and the food are top notch. Feels like what we would usually go to DTLA for in terms of dining experience.

The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. We had the Crudo, eggplant, gnocchi, and duck cigars. For dessert, we had the eclairs. This was the right amount for 2. The sommelier was happy to recommend a wine for my wife. Everything was great and we would recommend any of these dishes.

Opened in Feb 2023, but I have been anticipating and tracking this restaurant since Q4 2022 because I truly love French cuisine and have already been to almost all the other French options already in LA and surrounding. To start the inside is really beautiful and designed well. It s very bright, open, and modern, but still casual, albeit more trendy casual. Parking is available for $4 for 2 hours in the parking garage attached to same building on Landmark St near Bianca, but street parking is available as well. Our server was very polite and helpful, although the dishes did come out slowly. As mentioned they specialize in French cuisine and have a lot of great options to choose from. Tonight we started with the Endive Salad which was lovely, light, and had a delicious dressing. Next came the Poisson Cru, which was sliced amberjack in a rich and tasty broth. For our entrees we chose the Ricotta Gnocci, which was a real hit and had a great saffron flavor, and the Wild Sea Bream which was cooked perfectly and down right delicious. Finally for dessert we finished the meal with the Brown Butter Madeleines and loved them. They went fast and were a great end to the meal. Overall a really nice meal, with easy parking, and delicious flavors. I would recommend to any fan of French cuisine or anyone looking for a great dinner, or a great place to take a date.

I am delighted to report we have wonderful new restaurant on the west side - Juliet. Think elevated French bistro, farm to table, excellent service. Even though is it most certainly bistro food, it is thankfully on the lighter side, employing a gentle touch with salt, sugar, and fat. Anyone remember the old Church and State with Walter Manzke? Kind of reminds me of that vibe and quality. This is a place where I could easily become a regular. Sorry, did not get photos of all the dishes this time. We will have another chance. #thefoodietraveler

The most lackluster dining experience as of late. The host was incredibly rude and disrespectful. We had booked the reservation weeks in advance, specifically requesting an indoor table. Upon arrival the host looked us up and down an paused and told us we were sitting outside. We told him we were cold and had said he would check, there were literally multi empty tables and he never came back, didn t offer a solution, and we watched empty tables the entire time. The drinks took forever, the food was not good. I rarely leave bad reviews but this entire experience was terrible I would never go there again. Vegetarian options: Barely any. The gnocchi sucked. Parking: $20 .

Such a beautiful ambiance and delicious food. This wonderful new restaurant in the PLATFORM district in between the lively Downtown Culver City and the up and coming Culver City Arts District. Our server Christopher was amazing, and he made the evening wonderful! The highlight of the evening was the food... Its delicious! So flavorful and complex flavors! A warm and cozy atmosphere was perfect for date night! Id definitely return again for date night with a partner. Beautiful meal. Be aware of the overly attentive staff! (We were savoring the extra sauce with some fresh bread, but the staff kept trying to take away the plates!) It was definitely noticeable, and not in a positive way. I wish they would let us just savor our food, and the dining staff didnt interject during the meal service. Vegetarian options: Great salad and prepared veggie options. Parking: Valet parking is available to enter off Washington Blvd. Be aware of the Bus/Bike Lane! Bicyclists are riding past in the Bike/Bus Lane, and they have the Right-of-Way. Kid-friendliness: NOT kid or family friendly. Very upscale, and I would not bring kids here for dinner. The food is too sophisticated and the flavor is too complex for young children, and their simple palate. Better for a romantic date night. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and seating options. Ask a host when you arrive, if you need anything specific for seating and they should assist you.

Got a reservation as part of my valentines evening plans 3 weeks ago. They texted multiple after either to confirm or inform of the menu they decided and price since it wouldn t be a la carte. Got their last text warning I was expected there in an hour. Got to the place to find prior tables requested to be moved inside due to wind and being chilly.. and them not having any heaters on their sidewalk setup so my 7:30 reservation was gonna be 55 min late aproximatley. No offer of any kind of solution, I couldn t stay or would be affected with other plans, if they text for whatever their needs are at least text to offer a heads up or offer come sort of compensation in your 150 a person valentine menu for having people wait in a tiny bar setup you have. Management needs to do better, worst hospitality ever!!! Valentines dinner is at this point ruined, even i I did plan ahead! Management needs to do better with way better service in the city and the area

Went to Juliet for dinner on Sunday night and had an incredible experience! Ambiance is 10/10, love the high arches and burgundy color scheme. Our server was attentive and knew alot about the menu. We started with the endive salad which was phenomenal. For the main course, veal sweetbreads, a fantastically flavorful dish! For drinks we ordered the Special Potion and Mon Couer. If you like absinthe you have to try the Special Potion Cocktail!! Dessert consisted of their passion fruit cheesecake and cappuccino. Both were outstanding. Will definitely be coming back, cant wait to try their lunch menu!

AMBIANCE So cute! The aesthetics drew us in immediately. I felt like I was in a DC restaurant a different vibe from LA and it was nice. We didn t have reservations and we were seated in the entryway which was kind of random considering there was a lot of seating availability. My girlfriend felt it was because we were of color , but I really DO NOT think so. Maybe it was mapped by the servers routes, regardless I found it comical and choose to believe we were just so cute they wanted us to welcome all of their customers . Nonetheless we really weren t dressed appropriately we had just come from as we had just come from a Pilates class. Our waitress was lovely and I can be quite frank. However we ordered bottled flat (Evian) water. I only mention the brand because it was suspicious. I love Evian water I ve never had a problem with it but whatever they served as smelled like lake water the filtered tap water actually smelled fresher. Maybe poor washing? I don t know but a server came by the table swapped us out immediately also I had him smell it lol it was pretty rough. I had to laugh at his reaction upon smelling it, yes this is very .. very interesting He also chuckled and it made for a fun lunch experience. Felt like someone was going through it with me. THE FOOD *We had the market salad which was absolutely delicious and fresh it had a nice crunch to it. Green, leafy and delicious. Absolutely recommend this. The chicken was the recommended dish which was edible It brought back some nostalgia in a way but of a Midwest crockpot mother or a hospital cafeteria. I would never order that again but certainly ate it all. THE WINE They had a great selection, my girlfriend ordered a red blend it was delicious. But whatever I ordered was rotten, to the restaurants credit they did not charge me for that glass (I also did not drink it) .. but I couldn t it was pretty annoying that they were insisting it was nothing wrong with it. It smelled pungent, like maybe it had been stored wrong, yet I still tasted it like a dummy and sure enough it tasted like a dead rat smells. All the elements for a fantastic restaurant are here Maybe it was just an off day either way, not planning my next reservation here. If you re hungry, hangry or happen to be in the area give it a try, but don t go out of your way. Wheelchair accessibility: *It would be quite easy for a wheelchair to be wheeled in or out of this establishment like more so than others I ve seen. Parking may be difficult for somebody in a wheelchair because the valet is not super nearby and majority parking is in a structure. You would need to have someone pull right up to the front but it would be really very easy to do that at this location.

We could only get a table at 5pm but there were tons of empty tables for the next two hours. The waiter was totally confused and discombobulated and kept getting our order wrong. The food was only so so. Ive had way better, especially for the price. Parking: We walked but parking in this area is really limited.

Cocktails and food were great! I forgot the name, but the cocktail that had calvados was one of the best Ive had in LA. The duck cigars and gnocchi were also top notch. Dish presentation was well done. I took off a star for the service. They are a new restaurant, so mix ups, timing, etc. is understandable and not why I took the star off. Our waitress didnt even introduce herself, knew nothing about the menu, and did not even attempt to give the level of service youd expect from a restaurant at this price point. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. We are excited to go back in a few weeks once the kinks in the chain are hammered out.

We just got back from dinner at Juliette in Culver City. Its new. The food was generally incredible. Endive salad to die for. Amberjack sashimi was equally good. Oysters on the half shell, veal sweetbreads, and half a chicken all outstanding. The only letdown was the tuna carpaccio - tasted like lox. The flavors were on the order of Melesse but at about 1/2 the price. We will definitely be back

Juliet is a great new addition to the dining scene here in Culver City! I ve been anticipating the opening of Juliet, Culver City, ever since I ve heard about the development process. So, a colleague and I decided to stop by and introduce ourselves! We ended up staying for a quick bite and we were very pleased with our brief but pleasant experience. We were greeted with a very inviting and personable vibe from the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant. Everything from the beautiful decor to the eclectic taste in music definitely lets you know that you ve made the right decision to dine at Juliet. I can only imagine what dining here at night is like, which I will definitely come back to experience. We tried the Tartare et Caviar, Moules Persillade, & the Carpaccio de Thon. Everything was fresh and really tasty! Washed it all down with a glass of orange wine. Don t just think about going to Juliet, JUST DO IT! A warm welcome to Culver City to the entire Juliet team!
