Our new favorite spot! We’ve already been here twice and definitely plan on going again. Everything about this place is absolutely amazing! The food is 🤤 every single item down to our mint lemonade was delicious. I can’t wait to go back again and try another item. I’m hoping to try everything on the menu. Don’t even get me started on the desserts! These are the best vegan cakes I’ve ever had! They nailed the tres leches perfectly. I’m so grateful for gems like these specially being a vegan latina. Thank you 🙏 friends for a wonderful experience and putting love in every bite.

I ordered for delivery it was a wet burrito in green sauce ! I love the vegan chicken ! Everything is delicious . Also the guy who answers the phone is always so pleasant, courteous, and professional. For someone that is going vegetarian, I always find it easy to eat something I am craving without the meat . Such an unassuming cafe tucked away. Didn’t see any lulu lemons in a vegan place that has such good food and is so spacious. Had the wrap and iced coffee. The server was extra sweet and so attentive. They have WiFi and some parking too outside. For once it felt like you could relax and get a nice meal without shouting and waiting and rushing.

Very overpriced. The tofu scramble was dry, the kale wilted and without texture, the sweet potatoes bland as if they were steamed instead of roasted. All for the low low price of $18. I don t understand the appeal. At. All.

The vegan food is amazing here! In my opinion, their asada and al pastor tacos are tasty enough to convince someone to go vegan. Their hot sauce that went with the tacos was unique and delicious. I also really enjoyed their strawberry cake and chilaquiles. Next time I will try all of their tacos.

This place used to be good, and I would frequently eat there. Unfortunately the quality of the food and service has degraded substantially. After having the second meal this week that the ingredients were expired (sour cabbage and old sweet potatoes) I have decided not to return. The only thing still worth a visit is the coffee.

This place is amazing! I went with my hunny on a monday evening and it was just the two of us but we had the best time. Our server and service was incredible. He was very kind, smiled so nicely, answer all of our questions, knew the menu well and gave excellent recommendations. I had the mole burrito, maca hot drink, and a wellness shot. My hunny had the wet burrito and the ginger lemonade. For the appetizer we had the house guacamole and chips. Lastly, we had the tres leche cake. Everything was phenomenal!!!! Very well cook, tasted amazing, and plated so nicely. Im excited to go back and try more items on the menu.

Tried this spot for dinner a few weeks ago and it was alright maybe it was the dishes we chose but the food was bland no real flavor and prices were high for the quality and service provided. There was one other table with one person being served- there was a staff member sitting inside at the bar with her head down on the bar the entire time ( I get it she s off shift or on lunch idk but this was my 1st visual upon walking in). The other Server was behind the pastry counter & stated we could sit anywhere so we chose an outside table. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza ($20) as an appetizer which was good not too cheesy I liked it but my family didn t. Both me and a family member had the wet burrito ($22 each I was expecting a exceptional tasty burrito it was not even tasty), another family member had two chicken tacos and she said it was ok . I must say their pineapple ginger lemonade was excellent!!! Server was doing what he could being that he was the only one working so I can t complain he was very respectful and courteous bringing us our food. If I ever go back I will only go to try their breakfast

I appreciate the concept of The Grain Cafe and support its mission to save the planet thru vegan food. I have received pleasant service from the worker here. I ve ordered from here a number of times. This time, I wanted to try a dessert so I ordered a brownie along with the veggie omelette and tofu scramble. I was sadly disappointed with the brownie because it was very dry and didn t have a lot of flavor. The tofu scramble and veggie omelette were descent though. The star was the dragon roll - the bitesized cuts were delicious and packed a punch!

What a lovely surprise! Usually my go-to vegan spots in when Im in L.A are Follow Your Heart, Sage, Real Food Daily, or things from the menus of Mohawk Bend, Hugos... Those were a bit far away, so a Google search turned up this charming, spacious cafe in Culver City. All-vegan, friendly and helpful staff, and my smoothie and breakfast (The Muffin) were delicious and presumably all-organic. The hash browns were an unexpected bonus, didnt realize they came with; those could have been crisper. Only criticism. Everything else was better than what I had for dinner at Sage, so... Would definitely come back! I dont want to leave!

If you are Vegan - Go Here, you wont regret it. If youre NOT Vegan - Go Here, you wont regret it. I always get a Nourishing, Tasty Smoothie & a Beautiful, Fresh Tasting Meal, but its hard not to leave without a Coconut Blondie or slice of Vegan Cake. BEST FOOD EVER! Believe me - I usually dont write reviews but with this one... I just need to tell the world how awesome this restaurant is. Weve been there yesterday and had the 2cheese crepes, the falafel wrap and the 3 leches cake and omg everything was so good, we just had to come there again the next day. So today we had the potato and cheese taco, the rueben sandwich and the veggie pizza !IVE NEVER HAD SUCH A GOOD PIZZA! Even before going vegan! So- if you ever come to LA - vegan or not - you have to eat there, you wont be disappointed by these superdelish flavors! Many thanks to the awesome staff! We love you guys xx

In my trip to LA I had to have them two times in less than 24 hours! That is how good they were! The service was so friendly and helpful and I loved them very broad menu that was offered so many things that Vegans can all enjoy, and each plate is so good but a non-vegan would not even be able to tell the difference!!! The first time I had the club sandwich in the second time I had the chicken curry wrap. They were both so good and reasonably priced. This is the type of business we need to be supporting for our own future sustainability, it feels really good to be supporting a business that is doing the right thing.

Amazing staff with an amazing selection of vegan items. Its amazing they have breakfast all day and vegan crepes! Large portions too - good value for your dollar. I had the molé burrito and it was most excellent. Try the maca tea! The waffles are great too. Oh, and leave room for the cakes and other desserts!

Cute spot love that its all vegan. Tried savory crepe, tasted funny. Too much bakind soda or something made it taste odd. But everything else was delicious!!! The chorizo torta ! Nachos were soooo good! They have their own bottle of hot sauce that tastes loads better than the usual tapatio. The strawberry almond cake slice was delicious! Though the cream was tad too salty. Im guessing new cook, or perhaps understaffed but I still definitely intend to return for more! This is the place you definitely dont want to skip dessert.

The restaurant is seriously understaffed. I waited for 15 min for somebody to clean up the table that was right next to me (somebody had left before I came in and I wanted to sit by a window). My table had food crumbles on it too. The other table right after - was not cleaned as well. When I understood no one is coming to clean that up, I went and asked myself. Still had to wait for a while because of the other tables served and their food brought up to them (which I understand, the food is warm, people hungry and it s the only ONE server there). But when my food came up to the window and the waitress was right next to it and saw it, she still decided to go and take care of some other stuff while I was just sitting and staring at it, and I was hungry too. After I asked for a bill and instantly put out my credit card, guess what - i still had to wait for, even though there was one more table left at the restaurant. My patience died after a while and i headed out to the takeout order window so I could pay there. It took forever for something very small and simple. The tables should be cleaned after the guest leaves, not when you re reminded by another guest to clean them up. It s gross. When I go out of my home full with great food, I expect to have an experience, even if it s casual and for 40 minutes. And normally, I expect this experience to be good. I strongly advise to hire one more server, at least for those times when it s more tables, because one person doesn t seem to be able to manage well. The service in the valley is much better, maybe because it s a new restaurant and they still care about their reputation. I am not coming back to this place.

Very tasty vegan restaurant! I had a savory three cheese crepe that was SO delicious! My friends vegan scrambled eggs were probably not outstanding, but they were good. Good portions. Ho Ho Ho, vegan delicious food AND it s open on holidays we ordered the savory 2 cheese crepe (6/10) and the tropical crepe (A MUST). Also got the dragon roll which I forgot to capture but it was a great appetizer. All in all delicious and the service was very good although kinda slow but I ll definitely be back here!

A great brunch spot!! We had a large group of 8 sitting outside on a beautiful day. This location, service and food was all on point. Our server was awesome, the perfect combination of friendly, helpful and attentive. All great qualities on a server. I think her name was Marisa or something with an M.. so sorry Im bad with names. But she was the best! Lets talk food... there was so much great stuff to choose from but I went with a vegan chicken pitas sandwich... honey... it was just what I needed... perfect amounts of chicken, lettuce, smoother green veggies and topped off with avocado...and a side of roasted red potatoes mm mm mmm. My dessert... lord have mercy.. it was a strawberry almond slice of cake.. I was eyeing that off the menu before we even got there. This was so good and pretty to look at. Very, very pleasing to the eye. Wonderful presentation Grain Cafe. We had nachos and chips with guac for a appetizer..this got tore up while we waited for our food. A wonderful mix of flavors.. and I got the horchata drink Id been waiting for. It was good as far as the creamy taste but the cinnamon sprinkled on top was a little heavy and kind of ruined it. I started choking like the tik tok cinnamon challenge lol Everyone at the table loved their food except my teenager, but shes resisting the vegan menus we are introducing her to. She will learn to live it soon enough as we show her how great it is. (She had a club sandwich that her sister ate for her and she lived it) I would absolutely go back again to try something else and I plan to the next time Im in LA.

I just live two blocks away and finally made my way over there to eat lunch. I was the only person there. I ordered the tofu scramble which came with a side of potatoes. It was $13.50. The tofu was delicious and hot, the potatoes were cold and dry. Why would they give me half-day old potatoes that were not even hot. They had a huge variety of dishes. I was the only person there. So plus the temper came to $17. They should ve taken way better care of me.

Gave a fair rating as a result of me arriving 17 minutes before 10pm closing time and was told they were closed early due to an event. Although door was open and both cashier and anther employee present.. Drove 20 mins. I have been to other location in midcity 4years ago and remember the food was fantastic so this is reason Im giving a fair rating from past taste bud memory. Perhaps I will try again another time. My first time eating at this restaurant and it was delicious! As a vegan I was happy to see the variety of options including breakfast, lunch, and dessert food. I got the chilaquiles and tried some of my moms tuna melt. Both were amazing! Nice outdoor seating and accommodating service. Will definitely be coming again to try more off the menu!

This place is magical... and delicious. My go to is the veggie crepe and its full of scrumptiousness. Now onto dessert, their cakes are amazing. The best vegan cakes around Palms and Culver hands down. My favorite cake is the strawberry cake. Youll thank me later. The vibe is positive and upbeat. Overall, beautiful customer service and conscious friendly spot that I highly recommend!

I just had the most flavorless chicken quesadilla (which they made with chicken + vegan cheese, which made NO sense) of all time. It was so bad I had to make sure I left a one star review about it. Amazing vegan choices!! The menu is beyond extensive!! So many choices. I had the tres leches cake. Amazing!! So tasty!! I wish the pieces were larger. They sell whole cakes. Juice. T shirts. Fabulous choices! A yes for me hidden gem.

the food was so good! i got the chorizo torta and a vanilla latte. the torta was so tasty with a perfect amount of heat. on top of having lots of menu items and good food, the server was super nice and helpful!

I had 2 wait over an hour for food i had already called in 30 minutes before. Whn I went 2 pick it up they told me another 20 minutes because the oven was turned off. Then I was told the cook didnt read the ticket. Which lie is it?! While I was waiting 2 men came right in and picked up their order, but I had 2 wait over an hour for mine. First time this ever happened 2 me. Grain Cafe you all have got 2 do better.

Loved it! Took a non vegan who was skeptical about if hed be satisfied after his meal. Afterwards he said it was his most delicious and satisfying meal he had the whole time he was visiting CA...and he got a burger lol Do get the Pineapple Ginger Lemonade! Delicious

Everything was great! Service, food, coffee!!! Ugh so good! I m not vegan either so if you re worried you won t enjoy it because of that, don t! Can t recommend enough!

Nice place with plenty of seating. I found the pancakes and waffles a little crumbly and dense. I believe they were both vegan and gluten free. I liked tofu scramble and the various sides breakfast meats, potatoes, etc. next time I want to try chiliquiles.

The pasta was dry and sauce was very bitter, some of the pasta was also not cooked well. Same with the waffles, very dry texture. Gluten free preparations take extra prep details that were not present with the dishes. It was a huge disappointment. The server also swayed us away from ordering a pizza saying hat it would not feed two. We ended up with replacement meals that were horrible. If you want to tell customers what portions are right for them, say it in the menu. Will not return or recommend this restaurant to anyone. It will be a waste of time and money for a very off putting evening.

This place has an amazingly diverse and tasty menu- hearty comfort food, breakfast favorites, delicious shakes, and organic cakes- and they re all vegan! We used to drive much further to go to the one in Mid-city, so happy this one is open! Pictured: Dragon Roll and cool indoor fountains.

This is my wife and my favorite vegan restaurant in Culver City. Weve had almost everything on the menu and everything is amazing. Our go to now is the Reuben and breakfast burrito. Yum!!!

Delicious food at great prices! They have a variety of cuisine from Mexican to standard US favorites. Breakfast is served all day, I think. They also have a kids menu. One of the things that stands out to me is their hot sauce. It is organic and made in house. It is not the usual jalapeno or habanero hot sauce, it is a variety of other colors that are used in Mexican cooking. It is really a special sauce that is full of flavor.

Amazing vegan restaurant. This is a new location. Local, organic, homemade, fresh. So many options youll want to order the whole menu! The parking lot is small yet plenty of street parking available.
