Albertsons

I love Albertson. But when I visit busy time Even if you call for service for someone help, they don't come because there aren't many employees. This is why their business is the worst compared to nearby Walmarts and Targets. It's the closest to my house, but it's always hard to get to. The prices are ambiguous, and the lines are long when you go to pay after purchasing something. The step is also annoying when you buy something with the app. I like Albertsons, but I'm leaving a review because I feel bad. I think the people in charge need to improve the system a bit more. It's really disappointing.

I have fond memories of Albertsons. Growing up there was an Albertsons near my house but than it closed moved to diamond bar and was ecstatic to find there was an Albertsons nearby.

Shopping here brought back so many happy nostalgic memories especially the deli section. Love the hot items available like chicken wings and sushi. I love Americanized sushi.

Highly give this supermarket a try. It's in diamond bar so you know it can't be that bad.

This past Saturday, 5/18, I needed to get platters of small sandwiches for a kids party last minute so I came to the local Albertsons. When I first asked about them at the deli counter I was told it couldn’t be done by one employee because they needed at least 48 hour notice, which is completely understandable. After asking if she knew of anywhere else I might be able to find a tray like this she didn’t know but said I’d probably run into the same problem. As I was walking out, kinda bummed, another employee caught me and asked how many people I needed to feed and they most likely had the time to get it done. I replied about 30. She grabbed the catering booklet so I could see the options, chose the easiest one (with the pretzel buns) and she assured me she could get it done and she did! About 30 minutes later the trays were complete and we were out the door! This employee’s name was Margaret Mary and she was AMAZING! She could see the bummed out look on my face and once she heard it was for a kids party, she was more than willing to help me out with this little problem I had. I really just wanted to give even more thanks to Margaret Mary with this review! She went above and beyond and I am so grateful. This act of kindness was truly appreciated. Thank you again Margaret Mary for saving the day!

This rating is well deserved. The courtesy clerk David should be promoted to trainer of Customer Service. He is what is missing in the positive customer experience. He was so kind, and even waited for me to answer when he asked, “ How are you? Did you find everything you came for? He even packed my bags so I had no issues walking up stairs to my apartment. Thank you Albertsons, and thank you David!

I don't ever understand RUDE! Especially in a service industry...food. But, the sushi-lady nailed me just inside the door.
Usually I let it go but it was so over-the-top-uppity-rude I asked for The Manager. Norma offered "empty placation." I left with my few necissities...probably never to return...with the new wonderful Sprouts just down the street ???
Rude really NEVER WORKS...customer service...with a pleasant smile does.

I haven't had this yogurt (Dannon coffee flavored yogurt) since I was a kid. I have searched everywhere. Finally found it at Albertsons and made a special trip for it. Then I get there and it is ON SALE. Thank you, Albertsons, for helping me re-live a little piece of my childhood.

The employees are friendly and helpful and Albertsons is the only place I can regularly find one particular creamer that I prefer. The downside is that the lines are always long and the prices are higher than most of the places. However, I am still going to continue shopping here because I dont like smart and final.

Purchased soft drinks price card says 6.99 purchase 3 or more mix and match. Was charged 8.99 each 12 pack. Was told by cashier I bought (2) Pepsi products and (1) coke product that s why discount wasn t given. What is the meaning of mix and match?

When they have special weekly sales on certain food items, its still worth visiting. Store staff is friendly. Avoid peak hours which is anytime during the day until dinner time.

Their tuna from the deli department is very good. I pick up a medium size for work. Its enough for 3 days lunch, I add a little juice and avocado. So good!

My wife and I were looking all over for a turtle cake for my daughters birthday. But no stores had one. My wife talked to the bakery department at the Diamond Bar Albertsons. The lady said that she had they had two of them, but they were a little damaged and that she would hold them for us. When we got there, the lady came out and showed both of the cakes to my wife. Thank you, Diamond Bar Albertsons, for helping make my daughters birthday a good day.

Friendly and always available even after Christmas eve when other stores are closed. This is a goto go place for anything you need from sushi, fried chiken, deli, meat, flowers and other groceries.

5 star I love this Albertsons store! Friendly employees and good customer service! Prices can be expensive but I use their rewards program which saves me a lot of money! They have fresh veggies and fruits and they even have a section of Organic veggies! Highly reccomend this place if you are looking for fresh foods! December 14 2022 (Updated Review) 2 stars I come to this Albertson store every week and they sometimes have foods that are a great price. I just visited Albertson today and I wanted to buy a pack of bagels that was already due today. Usually when it is due today, they would offer a discount. I asked one of the ladies working at the Bakery section and she says that I have to talk to the manager. I tried looking for their manager but I could not find her. I asked the cashier for the discount but again, she told me to ask the bakery department. I asked three other employees but they said that they need to like scan the item first which they cannot do right now. They litterly have like 4 packs of bagels that was due yesterday. Why cant you even put a sticker? I also noticed that they have a 50% markdown section for frozen food. They have a CPK pizza that was marked down and I noticed that the expiration date was DUE A MONTH AGO! I told a guy about it and he said he was going to throw it away. I came back to the store a week later AND IT WAS STILL THERE! They really need to do something about this.

Always so clean and tidy, no odors whatsoever. You can buy flowers, medicines, drinks, frozen or fresh instant meals, and fresh meat, vegetables and fruit breads here.

I like to shop at Albertsons because of fresh produce, good bakery, and quality meats as well as friendly services, but one thing I dont like is digital coupons. I hope Albertsons can go back to paper coupons that may be convenient to seniors.

I like it. For the quick grocery trip it works. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was busy, especially for early afternoon. But there were several lanes open and the wait wasnt long. The baskets dont squeak and roll smoothly, which I cant say about other nearby stores. Helps to feel like the store is maintained. Floral selection is ok. And Id mark down half a star if I could. Outside of that, Ill be back, even if its a little farther than others. Albertsons does have a frequent customer reward program, which the checker tools me about. Which may be something to look into if you shop here often. Outside of that, their produce looked better than a major store near my parents house. Which was a plus.

This has to be the cleanest and friendliest Albertsons Ive shipped in ( all stores are great but this one, in my opinion, has to be one if the best) . The staff were all super friendly and very courteous. Super impressed.

Love the deli department and their meat quality. The salmon fillet is my favorite and at the deli, I really recommend the Ham Off the Bone. Kudos to all the staff members on working so hard to maintain a good customer service and such a clean organized market place.

Supermarket that is conveniently located in Diamond Bar Boulevard. Store personnel were not as friendly and store is not so organized, since items in the shelves are empty. Prices are high compared to other supermarkets. I just come here if Im really in a rush and didnt want to go far.

Deli people not wearing mask and talking while cutting your uncooked deli meat, come on... even if there is not COVID19, Basic food health and safety rule still applies, They need to hire or educated these staffs, very gross, throw the meat away as soon as left the store. NEVER AGAIN!

Albertsons Diamond Bar, in my opinion, is the best Albertsons to shop in the surrounding area (within 10 miles). The produce is always fresh and in abundance. The produce employees are personable and helpful. The butcher, seafood counter is fresh and the staff are very accommodating. The cashiers are friendly, the baggers are friendly. Overall, this store provides a good shopping experience.

Typical grocery store, very clean and organized. Staff is very friendly and made checkout very pleasant and fast. I usually only go to this location for their variety of non dairy ice cream. Regardless, my experience has always been pleasant!

My favorite store. I know Albertsons is a little more pricey but you cannot put a price on quality. The freshest fruits/vegetables/bakery/meats. The list goes on, sign up for the rewards to help you save some money and get deals on items you purchase often.

I havent shopped with Albertson in years and now I remember why. They cant be bother to tell you till your paying that your phone number doesnt work for deals. To get any of their deals you have to download an app and search it up. You have to shop on their app before going shopping. Its so inconvenient for the customer. I dont have time to do that when shopping after work.. The cashier didnt bother to tell us until half way through the purchase. This is the last time Im shopping here.
