This spot has amazing food! Their birria tacos are incredible—definitely my favorite! The place has a cute vibe with cool decor. While there aren't many tables, it's usually manageable to find a seat. I love that they make their own homemade sauces—such a nice touch! I've been looking forward to trying a Mediterranean and Mexican food fusion at Fatima's grill for a while now . I was beyond happy when a friend of mine invited me over to to Fatima's grill as it was gonna be my first time trying a mixture of Mediterranean and Mexican food as a person from Africa and I was so glad that I did. The Crunch wrap And Cheetos Quesadilla was so delicious . i would recommend Cheetos Quesadilla simply because i enjoyed it so much .

I loved this place because it wasn't just the typical dishes you usually find and the service was really good . The beautiful lady who served us was Leiza , she should definitely get 5 stars for her helpful service , polite and good attitude. Going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of the best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. The salsas were on point! The consome was super flavorful. Umami bomb! The gyro platter was tasty. The rice was nicely cooked, the meat was tender, and smoky. My daughter had the smash burgers. The patties were thicker than other smash burgers. Cherse had good flavor, and the fries were well seasoned and crispy. Definitely coming back to try more stuff!

• Not only is the staff
respectful and polite but the place has a nice vibe too. I ordered the surf and turf burrito, and a chicken crunch wrap with flaming hot Cheetos
Both items lived
up to my expectations in visual presentation, level of spice, and the delectable layers of flavor. I also purchased a bottle of Lebamex sauce of which cannot be matched DELICIOUS!

I came around 11pm tonight,I ve been here before the food is great but unfortunately the service sucked tonight . I found this location through Postmates and have ordered from this restaurant numerous times. Their burritos are unbeatable, especially their California burrito. Seen the food on the internet and finally had to make the 2 hour trip to make this bucket list a completion. The atmosphere here is very nice and the service was wonderful. This place is very small but love all the decorations this restaurant has. The art and the posters really had me looking in detail at all the pictures and art. The food was crazy specially the hot cheetos burger . I had no one of fitting it all in my mouth. Am a 4x4 guy and this was one hell of a burger to take down. This place is so good! I vacationed in Downey for a week and ended up going here on 4 separate occasions. My family and I tried a couple different food spots, but Fatima s Grill was the best. I highly recommend the quesa asada tacos, the shrimp tacos, and the strawberry shortcake cookie for dessert. The service was quick and the staff was super helpful and pleasant. Shout out to Liza, she displayed awesome customer service and made our last trip to Fatima s perfect. I will definitely be back when I travel to Downey in the future.

I d rate this place 0 stars if i could , it first started with the owner telling us his food is not good on its own because his mac n cheese is CANNED and NOT made in restaurant, still wanted to give it a chance and had be waiting over an hour just to tell me my food was under a different name and had the nerve to try and serve me the same food after it had been sitting on the counter for 20 over mins NEVER COMING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN, NOT WORTH THE DRIVE AND MOST DEFINITELY NOT WORTH YOUR TIME! 2 burritos and 2 drinks were total of $50 , So overpriced.

Im very upset at the fact that they have one job to do with Ubereats, pay attention to who their giving the food to because they wasted my time. 2 hours waiting for my food on Uber for it to be canceled. First time in LA and we had to stop by Fatima s Grill. We had the Philly crunch wrap, steak & shrimp quesadilla, steak burrito with hot Cheetos dust, birria shrimp quesadilla and birria consommé and nothing disappointed!! Definitely a must visit spot. The food alone earned the 5 stars. There is no service here. The seating is very small, maybe 8 tables with a small single seating bar top style seats. We had to bus our own table after a family of 4 left. The trash can is outside, so it isnt an easy task. The door always gets left open to bring in heat because people are too lazy to shut the door behind themselves. I had to ask for napkins to then wipe down our filthy table. The computer to order is confusing and not so easy to navigate. But dang, the garlic shrimp fries were so delicious! And I tried the steak and chicken wrap. That was packed with flavor. My friend got the Philly cheese steak quesadilla. It came with shrimp. My wife got the steak crunch wrap. It was like at Taco Bell, but 10x bigger. It was so bomb! The food took a very long time to come out too.. With all the negatives, it could be hard to give 5 stars, but dang, the food was bomb.

First time stopping by today. It was 3 adults and 4 young children. Im very impressed with the food, service and atmosphere. I believe it was the owner; his attention and awareness for the customer is amazing, he seemed to know what we d want before even having to ask. Most small eateries make it obvious coming in with that many children it is an issue, yet from the start to finish of our stay here, we received nothing but the best! Hands down the best birria tacos. I m from Toronto and this place is a must every time I visit. And last but not least it s HALAL! I am on a mission to compare all gyro style wraps so we went to see how the food is compared against few other places. First the wrap: MEAT WAS HARD AND POOR QUALITY. I would not give even one star to that wrap. Sorry. I ordered a wrap and side of Falafel via kiosk, but there was no option to order drink on kiosk so I had to order the drink at the counter. They charged me $0.85 for ordering that cold drink (credit card charge) and my cold drink cost me like $4.85 REALLY? I always order side of falafels and usual med. place would give me at least 3-4 falafels. These guys literally just gave me one falafel and that too was frozen/fried and poor quality. Will never visit that place again and would not recommend anyone to go there.

Amazing. These guys are Lebanese but learned how to cook Mexican and Lebanese fusion. Saturday morning and I was looking for something delicious, it not crazy heavy. Ended up Here because I love Arab food. Had the Mediterranean burrito with a combination of beef and chicken shawarma plus gyro meet. Thought it would be insane but it was well balanced with the rice and pickles stuffed into a burrito- tortilla was bomb and chewy just enough. . Finger licking good! Coming back to try more.

I spent 60 dollars for 3 different plates, quesa birtia tacos, a beef and shrimp burrito and a crunch wrap. Cheetos tasted a bit stale. The rice had no flavor and it really was not as good as people say. It was the only place open in my area besides Jack in the box. The cashier was pleasant and very patient. I would never go back I thought it was just the asada fries the first time but overall food is not top tier for the prices they charge.

Drove down from van nuys to try this place out with my two younger siblings, and I quote from two 16 year olds.. the most worth it thing ever haha the portions are great Liza made us feel right at home and when u say we were absolutely satisfied with everything you gotta try the asada hot Cheeto fries they are to die for and the lebamex sauce really brings everything together 10/10 you guys would make a killing in the valley Ali!!!

Could ve at least gave me more consome and they gave me regular birria shredded beef when I ordered asada. It might be late ordering food, but don t be cheap. If you guys are looking for really good birria, try La Autentica Birrieria in North Hollywood.

Food was cold yesterday. I did a online order got there on time accourding to time estimate. Employee told me they were backed up it would be 15-20 min additional waited for my name to my called. I was given food it was cold. I made a review to inform you (the owner) that it was cold. Maybe you would reach out and try to make it right and take some accountability. Thank you for the response.

Sometimes good, sometimes not so good depending on the cook. First time was excellent, second time we barely had any meat in our burritos. Please be consistent with your portions. Overall its pretty good and Id recommend it.

This is my favorite place to treat myself during the week. I go here with my partner every chance I get. The food is absolutely amazing. The options are endless and I try to get something new every time I go. The entire staff is outstanding. The owners are very welcoming and passionate. Liza is very sweet, kind, and a character. Stephanie is very kind as well. 10/10 would recommend this spot. All 100% halal!

The food is really delicious. Very flavorful and authentic! The customer service by Liza was amazing as well! I tried the surf N turf burrito and it was fire also had the chicken crunch wrap. I would definitely comeback again and I recommend you all come try this food too if you haven t!

Casual spot? More like a diamond in the rough. Emphasis on the diamond. This place did not disappoint. I m not even sure how I found it, but I m so glad I did. I had the birria grilled cheese and my fiancé had the quesa birria taco platter. We were thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The atmosphere was very interesting, but inviting. UPDATE: we flew back to LA a couple months later (now March 2024) and the very first stop on our list was Fatima s Grill. This time, we were greeted by Liza, who is an absolute rockstar. She was running the entire front of house seamlessly and took great care of us while we dined in. I would say, if you re a first timer, definitely take a moment to browse the menu because the options seem to be endless. I changed up and ordered the newest menu option: the smash burger. The burger was super tasty and the pickles, grilled onions, and queso they added to the sandwich was the perfect touch. My only suggestion would be to cook up/caramelize the grilled onions a bit more. My fiancé ordered the lettuce tacos with asada. They were such a pop of flavor, the chile releno, tomato, onions, and cilantro alongside the delicious grilled beef covered in the lettuce shells was such a good change up. We ordered the birria nachos to share and they were also very good (not a surprise considering our last visit). We re so full but it was sooooo good. Once again, like the terminator, I ll be back.

Tried Fatima s grill and I am definitely coming back. The specialty fries, tacos and wraps are absolute fire!! The service is great and efficient. Especially Liza! She is hilarious and instantly makes you feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Visited Fatimas Grill in Downey and was puzzled by the numerous 5-star ratings. No restroom or complimentary tap water, and the same multitasking employee playing on his phone, handling cash, and bussing tables also handled food without hygiene precautions. Napkins were scarce, and the tacos had an odd sweetness. Asada fries and chicken shawarma burrito were decent but nothing special. Overall, overhyped and underwhelming.

Food quality died when they expanded, it s no longer as good as it used to be. Sad because this place was once very good, but the taste at this point is at par with Taco Bell.

Super large menu with a huge selection of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisines. You should study their menu before you get there because its humongous. I will return to try other things. Only complaint , some portions are small and too much rice to make up for the smaller portions.
