A server at this toast (I forgot his name) but he was making weird jokes, making sideways comments that were very disrespectful, told me to speak up (in a rude way) even tho I can not speak up as much because it will hurt my voice!!! Food is okay, reason it got 3 stars! That server is a joke and should not work there

Went to celebrate a friends birthday (vegan). We all ordered and got our food, besides our vegan friends food. They told her last minute (after the rest of us got our food) that their vegan options did not arrive and asked if shed like to choose something else. She asked for an avocado toast and received the saddest looking toast with a side of...extra toast. Service was mediocre. We were being rushed after just 5 minutes of receiving our food. My scrambled eggs tasted watered down for some reason. Vegetarian options: They told us their vegan options did not arrive, after about 20 minutes of waiting for our food. Anyone can make a better and cheaper avocado toast at home.

I recently visited Toast and was blown away by the entire experience. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, making it the perfect spot to relax or enjoy a good day with friends. The mimosas were on point perfectly balanced and refreshing. But the real highlight? The French toast! It was beyond amazing fluffy on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside, topped with just the right amount of cheesecake and fresh fruit. The food overall was incredible, with every dish crafted to perfection. Our waiter was amazing and friendly !!Whether you re here for brunch or just a casual drink, Toast is definitely a place worth visiting. Highly recommend it!

While my car was charging, I decided to have lunch. In and Out was across the street but I decided to explore the mall. Calamari $17 - 12 pieces of rings, no tentacles and the marinara sauce was more of a paste. . Pulled pork sandwich $18. - more coleslaw than pork (very scimpy), pork didnt taste good and the fries were subpar. Star of the show was the carrot cake. Service was excellent.

I only been here twice, my first time here was okay but when I came back for the second time I got a server her name was Caroline I believe and she was serving us and 2 tables. One was in front of me and one was behind me. Caroline kept checking on the table in front of us asking if they were ok and also the table behind us. She kept skipping our table and never once checked on us. She only came when she gave us our drinks and food. It was very obvious she was ignoring us. I m not sure if she assumed we were not going to tip. Definitely not after that.

Private birthday brunch with a set menu; meal offerings were delectable. I ordered the Denver omelet with plenty peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The veggies were cooked to perfection! I also ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was well-seasoned and crispy yet moist. The waffle was cut into sections atop two slices of crispy bacon. The mimosa flight was the perfect cap to the meal!

Review №32

The food was only ok. The steak and potatoes were good which made the rating a solid 3 stars. But the chilaqueiles was not that good, the red sauce was bland and grainy, the green sauce was better but still not the best flavor. The orange jealous was just ok as well, I had high expectations for it.

The servings are a bit on the bigger side and the food a bit pricey but I think it is worth it. The food was very well flavored and the staff was super nice.

Review №34

The food was excellent. My family and I really enjoyed the food. Reviewing is not my thing but I must congratulate the team of chefs. The only uncomfortable time I had was when I was seated. I wanted a boot and the host claimed to be waiting for a party of 75 individuals which never arrived. She did not even try to accommodate our request. So, we stayed on a very uncomfortable table since we did not want to drive around LA to look for another breakfast restaurant. Waiters seemed to be overwhelmed with the work. No smiles.

Underwhelming to say the least. How this establishment is still in business is a mystery. Not too many menu options. Food doesn t taste good, the price doesn t justify the quality. I order the short rib sliders and the kids chicken tenders. The chicken tenders where brought out all burnt, the fries looked as if they had been sitting for a while and where refried, I think they needed to change the oil. My short rib sliders did not taste good, it s missing something all you taste is bbq and bread. Disgusting food . I do not recommend this place to anyone. It is no wonder it is nearly empty on a Friday evening. This was my second try and for sure my last .

The ambiance at this Toast location is absolutely lovely. Of all the locations Ive been to, they have the friendliest servers and waitstaff. This is my Toast of choice for brunch and catch-ups with friends. On this visit I ordered the pumpkin pancake, a scrambled egg, and the hash chips. I love the chips. Theyre always perfectly crispy and well seasoned. The rest of the food is just okay. The pumpkin pancake is huge.. Big enough to feed two people. It didnt taste like pumpkin spice though. My friend, who is a chef, ordered chilaquiles and she said they were delicious.

My husband ordered the ribeye with over-easy eggs and country potatoes. He was very pleased with the steak, but his eggs were overcooked. We didnt complain because the restaurant was busy. The strawberry cheesecake French toast was amazing, but very sweet. My kids got a pancake and chicken strips with fries, which they loved. The $5 kids pancake was huge! Our server forgot my daughters pancake and bowl of fruit, so it didnt come until almost the end of our meal. We asked for some condiments, but he didnt bring those either. However, the server next to him brought them to our table and was very sweet and apologetic on his behalf. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and I will definitely be coming back, but next time without my toddlers.

We have been here several times and always at 8 am when they open. I have tried several things. French toast, biscuits and gravy breakfast and also the pancakes. At first glance the menu seems pretty decent with many choices that look good. It all sounds great until you actually receive the food. Please keep in mind at 8 am, normally they are not very busy. There may be some people there but not enough to be busy or what would be considered packed. No matter what you order it takes about 20 minutes. Eggs and bread 20 minutes, avocado toast 20 minutes. It seems very excessive. Also the food is cold. Everytime. So when you ask to have it fixed some of the servers look annoyed and then it takes another 7-10 minutes to get the food. If there are only a few people present why does it take so long and why is the food cold? Also the pancakes and french toast have always been mushy. They should have been warm and have a slight crisp to withstand the timing and condiments. Just a thought. I cant come here any more and pay the price for food that is not good. Sad ........

Im a little disappointed coming to the restaurant today. I have been here before and food was better then. I ordered the steak chimichurri medium rare and my boyfriend ordered one hamburger patty with cheese medium rare as well and 3 eggs in the side as well. The food took about 35 min to get, and once we finally got our food , the patty and the steak were over cooked , which is very disappointing, we were really hungry so we ate it after all. When the bill came . His order was $19.00 I was shocked! He literally only ordered one patty with cheese and that cost $19 .00??? Like that s ridiculous!!!. Then the order came with fries in which we did not order . Then we ordered a pancake and it took another additional 15 min after we were done eating to get that . Service was great, but the wait is seriously too long and the food wasn t what I expected

Good food with big portions but the wait is long. Its also a little expensive for fancy version of diner food. I wanted to get country fried steak but it was expensive because they made it as country fried filet mignon. I ended up getting the breakfast burrito and even though it was huge and delicious, I felt it was a little expensive. The chocolate velvet, despite its fancy name is just a chocolate pancake, but it was bigger than your face and delicious. And the kids meal portion was very generous.

Both times we waited for our mixed drink a bit, the second time they brought my drink at end of my meal. Had the steak & eggs; potatoes were surprisingly tasteful. The steak was good. And the Avocado toast had over load of cherry tomatoes and was just that avocado toas & tomato. Didnt love it, you could definitely just whip something more delightful at home. 2nd time had a cesar salad. would not recommend ordering salad ever. I was surprised they could get that so wrong. Was not as fresh as it should be and had an odd taste Ahi Toast was good but did not blow my mind. I love ahi so I enjoy it. Nachos were nachos, again good but For a brand new restaurant and the $$ you re spending I was hoping for something a lot more delightful and delicious.

Ok, so I had been reading many of the reviews and it seems like many have been complaining about stuff that happens in every restaurant regardless. Do not believe the negative reviews, this place was awesome, my only concern is that the portions of food are too large for the normal person. Other than that the food tasted good, the coffee was very good, and my server was on point. Remember, you are not the only one getting served, the clown behavior about serving me ASAP is for over grown children.

Its sad that they can brush people off charging the prices they charge. Make your prices cheaper for the lack of service. Service was quite slow, they were out of what my wife wanted, and it took a long time to get what we ended up ordering. Presentation of the food was kind of sloppy for the type of restaurant this Toast seems to be trying to be. The meat of our pork sliders was a little tough, but it tasted fine, and the fries were pretty good. Three stars may be a little harsh for a score after one visit, but I probably wont be going back. Everything was okay but I wont be going out of my way to go to the mall just to eat here.

The only good things about my experience were a pleasant server, the beautiful interior of green plants, and having my friends around me. It took a long time to receive our food after we ordered, and it took a long time to be checked in on after receiving and finishing our food up until we actually got the bill. Although it was a busy day, it seemed like longer wait times overall in comparison to similar restaurants. Other than that, the food was easily forgettable--I have been to other restaurants with similar menu options that have been far more tasty (such as Benediction, as an example, which is way better in every aspect--service, food, and atmosphere). I got the Santa Barbara Eggs Benedict with the Arugula Salad and dont recommend them. Our server was nice, but just be forewarned that they might make mistakes easily here. There was an issue with our bill being slightly off as we were overcharged for at least two small items. They were just small things, and we were already running late, so we did not call attention to it this time, but double check your bill. I will definitely not be returning here.

First time visiting this new restaurant in my community. Atmosphere was good. Food is overall good in portions and taste. It missed the mark in customer service and food QC. Food took forever to come out to our table Missing items on orders and food came out cold. Maple bacon waffles came out with no maple syrup. Chilaquiles included eggs. Came out with no eggs. Veggie omelette was cold to the touch. No condiments at the table needed to ask for them. Our server only came by once. For it being busy staff is clearly overwhelmed and not quite organized for the traffic. Could definitely improve . Accessibility is limited due to narrow walkways in the back for strollers or walkers.

If youre searching for a new breakfast spot with minimal wait times, Toast might be worth considering for now. However, I wont be returning for a few reasons. The coffee was simply terrible, and the food fell below average, lacking any presentation for the French toast my kids ordered. Considering the price we paid, Id rather choose Poach and spend a bit more for better quality. On the positive side, the interior had a nice and cool vibe, and the place was clean.

Just to start off, this toast is not affiliated with the toast in Temecula. Me and my wife came before noon on Sunday and waited around 35 min which wasnt too bad, however there was some confusion on where to seat us. The atmosphere is very trendy and loud(music and people). They also have a side area that looks cool if you want to take pics and post it to social media. FYI The prices on the menu outside didnt match the main menu you get inside which wasnt good. I ordered the Santa Barbara benedict and for a place to be called toast youd think theyd toast the English muffin; it was right out of the bag, but the home styled potatoes saved the day. My wife ordered the berry french toast and came with just blueberries only, and she said that they were over done. We also ordered a flight of margaritas to try and they were ok, as 2 were good and the other 2 were spicy(I love spicy, so just a warning for those who dont). They also looked bigger online, theyre a little bigger than a double shot glass and for the price of 32$ its not worth it. The service seemed a little chaotic at times, especially when trying to get their attention for water and condiments. For just 2 people it was a little too pricey for what you actually get. Overall, I feel that if youre looking for a fun party breakfast/brunch place to try Id say go at your leisure; there is no need to rush out, but know its similar to a lot of places.

The food wasnt that great especially for the price and the service was really bad. We had to wait a good while just for water but the drinks were really good.

I went here for my bday yesterday, horrible service they took like 15 minutes to sit us down when literally a couple got there after us and they were immediately seated and not to mention they took like 20 minutes to get our orders we were just being ignored, the waiter got my order wrong. It was my birthday and someone else s bday too and they told me they didn t have more bday cakes when they gave one to the other table. Please people don t come here horrible service

So maybe I was being a little sensitive, but if your hostess is the first impression of the restaurant, then Toast might want to spend more time training theirs. I was looking forward to trying this place, but the initial impression actually caused me to get up from where wed just been sat and leave without ordering. My girlfriend and I walked in, she sat down and I approached the front desk. I waited for the hostess to finish with the couple in front of me, and while doing so, I noticed a couple of women leaving and entering the restaurant. Im old school, so I stepped over to open the door for them. While doing so, another customer came in and stepped up to the desk. The hostess turns to help this customer before me. Fine, not a big deal. I wait, the hostess turns to me, and I tell her Id like a table for 2. The hostess asks me if the other party is present. I confirmed she was (which was my girlfriend). The hostess responds that they have to be in front of her. Flabbergasted, I turned and pointed to my girlfriend and informed the hostess firmly that she was sitting in the chair at the front. Now the hostess has an annoyed look on her face, clearly bothered and giving off a palpable attitude. After showing us to the booth without looking at either of us, the hostess walks away. We slide into the booth, and theres barely enough room for either of us. Our chests are literally touching the table, and theres no place for us to push the table or seating away. One of the managers happened to be nearby arranging tables. We called to the manager and either were not heard or ignored on both occasions. Normally, I would have just gone back to the hostess and asked for a table (as opposed to the booth), but after the initial encounter with the hostess, we opted to leave, and speaking for myself alone, I would likely not go back. If the hostess already cops an attitude before Ive even sat down, Ive already got a bad taste in my mouth before Ive even tried the food.

We went to check out this restaurant for the first time today. I assumed they served breakfast all day since its called toast but unfortunately we got there at 4 and they only serve dinner from 4 p.m. onward. We got to enjoy their happy hour with some appetizers and beers were $5 even for the IPAs which we were happy about. The meatballs were very soft and the buttered bread was also delicious. Fries were good too. Wings were really good too for $10 during HH.

My family and I wanted to try something really good and Instagram has been raving about this place. Well where do I start first off the food was horrible, my kids ended up getting sick from the food. Over priced and not the best quality food for Instagram to rave good reviews about it. I guess everyone has there own taste. I didn t even take pictures of the food of how upset I was. We ended up spending about $120 on 4 people. For what we received, horrible.

We got here around 10:30 am. We waited about ten minutes before being seated. At first they were going to seat us at a tiny table inside, until I requested a larger table outside, which the patio area was nice and comfortable.. the hostess came and asked if we wanted anything to drink...which was nice..our server crystal was very nice, pleasant and helpful. But somewhere along the way, we ended up with a different server, who brought us our food...french toast, eggs Benedict, and Spanish omelette...but no condiments, ie; ketchup, butter, syrup, and salsa. We were able to get crystals attention, and ask her for condiments, which she brought quickly. Unfortunately, the food was not as warm as when first served. Maybe its because this spot is new? Maybe because it was crowded? The food was ok. Seemed a little pricey. Parking, plenty of free parking. Nice environment. Staff friendly and helpful.

I am only giving a five star review because of my server Robert. He was kind and warm spirited. The food was fine. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. But the experience was made ten times better because of his service. He checked on us quite frequently. The wait times are extremely bad, however, Robert did his best to cut them shorter, which was greatly appreciated. He was the best. If you ever have him as your server, expect the best.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at T.O.A.S.T and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by server Vianey and restaurant manager Whitney. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. Vianey was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations for both food and drink. The food was absolutely delicious, and the alcohol selection was top-notch. Whitney also checked in on our table to ensure everything was to our liking, which was a nice touch. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at T.O.A.S.T and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and outstanding service.

I went here hearing it was opened next to Olive Garden and was reccomended to me. I took my group of friends ans my sister there to eat and was more than impressed with the quality of the food there. We were seated relatively quickly and although it took a little while for the food to come out, its because the food is made fresh and the taste reflects the quality. I highly reccomend the carbonara pasta or steak sandwich as those are super super tasty. The appetizers are delicous as well, especially the calimari. If you go to the bar, I highly suggest asking for Paola as she is very very attentive to her drinks and makes them delicious! The service is great, food is better, and makes for a good dine in experience.

I m so happy and excited that we have a new brunch spot!!! The food was excellent, HOT and FRESH! It took a little bit of time, but that is completely expected when you are served quality food. The atmosphere was gorgeous and a complete vibe! And the customer service was absolutely amazing! Hands down an excellent place to EAT and DRINK! We had a few different cocktails that were made to perfection. This place did not disappoint. The staff were accommodating and very much aware of what others have criticized in the past. No place is 100 percent perfect, but I appreciate their willingness to listen and make the necessary changes. My family and I will definitely be back! Also, very kid/family friendly too!

Our waitress was Latoya. She was super sweet & helpful in explaining the menu. 1st time here. Big roomy & pretty decor. Plenty of mall parking. We ordered bacon avocado toast w/house potatoes & added scrambled eggs with a side of their fresh arugula salad. Eggs were cold but she fixed that for us. Chile verde chilaquiles was mixed up with the Chile verde plate, but she immediately recognized the kitchen error & made it right, too. Breakfast burrito was good, sharable size. French Toast with berries was almost too pretty eat, but we ate them up! Food was good & tasty. Cucumber lemonade was very sweet (we fixed it by adding a bit of water & more ice) but very refreshing. Well definitely return & check out their happy hour. & hopefully we get Latoya as our server. She made our Friday brunch great. Parking: Mall parking lot in front of restaurant entrance Wheelchair accessibility: Flat, no stairs

I was looking foward to going to this place but after hearing of my parents experience, I will never. They were there early in the morning before they opened so they were one of the first ones there. After two hours of being seated and getting their order taken their food was never brought out. People that arrived there after they did had already eaten and left. I will not be going to this restaurant!

Visited 6.11.23 during brunch hour. Service was attentive. Doing the best they could considering its 1st weekend since opening. The place was packed at 1pm. Drinks took a while, but we werent in a rush so didnt bother us much. Food took very long. Chocking it up to kitchen growing pains. We didnt like the red chilaquiles nor the meatballs and parpadelle. Too smokey tasting for us. Chilaquiles were soggy. The house french toast was very good. The cocktails were pretty and very good. Margarita flight winner was the coco pina margarita, the strawberry fizz was good and refreshing, my black dahlia was excellent. Ill come back for drinks abd appetizers. Not sure I will order a main entree.
