Second Tyme Around Shop

This shop is absolutely wonderful!
It reminded me of when I was a kid back in the early 2000s and brought up so many good memories for me. Everything is the price of back then too which really blew my mind!
I was so pleased to see that had a great selection on many items from clothing, home decor/items, board games, books, movies and so much more!

If you are on a budget and want a wholesome environment to shop in this is the place to be!

My husband and I got a few books and board games. Safe to say all the pieces were there!

Great place, with great people. The winter clothes donated to the students were a huge help to many parents. Thank you for supporting our local schools.

Ran by Volunteers? AMAZING! Clean, cozy little store that is colorfully curated by a professional and courteous staff. Located in downtown Downey near the theater and plenty of parking during the weekdays. Lots of vintage finds here such as the ones seen in my photos. Clean aisles and low prices. Jewelry, Housewares, Furniture, Clothing, Books and Toys! Plenty of gently used baby items/clothing as well. If you value great quality items, give this store a try.

This is the only store my girls love shopping at, and they hate shopping! The ladies there have a rare classiness that is warm and inviting, making you feel almost like family. The prices are beyond amazing and the proceeds go to charity! Believe me, it should be called Million Times Around because that is how many times you'll want to come back. ;-) Thank you ladies, you are angels!

Excellent source of community service to the locals of the city of Downey. Had the please of meeting Ms. Charlene, Ms. Judy and several ladies today working hard to prepare for the needs of our local families. The store is stocked to the brim with previously cared for items...consider stopping here to donate and shopping for some key items for a special holiday family gathering. Thanks you Assistance League of Downey, My go to to assist, serve, and support to help my fellow citizens.

Great finds at good conditions, hardly any wear and tear if any was found. Awesome prices too!=) and the workers are very courteous and sweet. Will definitely be coming in again soon!😊

Prices are very high considering the clothes and items are used. Better off purchasing new clothing at retail stores such as Ross or Tj Max.

Got the incorrect change back yesterday.i was unable to count before leaving due to having to carry my baby and only one available hand. I called today to see if theres was any way to get my remaining change. The lady on the phone seemed unsure, but the lady in the background ( heavy accent) was very rude and unwilling to even try to fix anything. They blamed previous day employee and said they each only work once a month so the only thing I could try is wait until next month to talk to those ladies and see if they remember me! Really didn't appreciate the unwilligness to even try yo solve the issue.

Best thrift shop! that ive been to .clean place ,all very neat and nicely racked .prices are great and reasonable.Thee most friendliest and helpful staff .
Vareity of stuff from home decor ,board games,craft materials,school supplies,books,kitchen items ,sports gear,jewelry and clothing for the whole family .holiday decor. However I haven’t seen any furniture yet .
Parking is ok on weekdays .And not so great on weekends .

I guess I'm being too harsh I was going to give it one star because it was closed but it's not their fault they change their hours so I updated the info closed on Mondays now.

Walked into an environment that I wish would seep out into the streets as well. Very nice staff and a pleasure to shop from. Customers are nice as well.

Best little thrift store ever. Clean nice people cool finds. Not great in the clothes department but the other stuff is awesome spent 24$ for 3 bags of stuff
