They don't do alterations here however there are large selections. Kind staff and reasonable prices. Overall, it's a great place to visit for any fabric needs.

JoAnn’s has a wonderful selection of fabrics, sewing supplies, craft materials, and holiday goods… hence the 3 star rating… However, the staff are so unwelcoming and rude, as if you’re bothering them, not helping a customer coming to them for assistance. This is the exact reason why online shopping has become so popular… so we don’t have to deal with store’s poor customer service. Since the staff feels like I’m bothering them, I won’t bother coming back any time soon. I can get similar products from other stores that want me to feel welcome or from Amazon for cheaper.

The actual store is okay but they have some of the rudest staff I've ever encouraged at a Joann or any store really. I have been here on multiple occasions when staff have been unnecessarily hostile and it's been different people each time

The first time, a worker got upset when I asked about an item that they only carry online. I continued to shop and maybe she thought I wasn't listening to her or something because she came back around to remind me that they didn't have it ?

Another time, I went in to get fabric and was waiting at the cutting area, but I didn't realize that I needed to type my name in their system to wait. The worker aggressively told me that I needed to enter my name. She wasn't helping anyone at the time, but I stayed quiet and just typed my name in. She immediately called it because I was the only person there. She made sure to call me up by calling out "someone who typed in a fake name". This was really offensive because I actually had put in my real name. I didn't say anything about it to her, just asked for my fabric and left

I went in there again and it was fine until I got to the register. I thought the lady was polite until I asked her to scan my coupons and she seemed to get upset about this. I had them up on my phone already and she scanned one of them, then rudely told me that she wasn't scanning any of the others. I didn't say anything and just paid and left

I'm not sure why the staff here are so angry all the time but I regret going everytime. I try to go to the Concord Joann or hobby lobby, but unfortunately this store is closer to where I live. Who knew that a craft store couple be so stressful!

There is a great selection and the store is clean. But the customer service is horrible. The time I went, it was 30 mins to closing. Upon entering, you're greeted with "you only have 30 mins before we close". After that, every sales associate you see will continue to remind you how many minutes you have to shop. If they would just leave me be and stop telling me the time every 5 minutes, I could get what I want and leave. I'm not the type of customer who stays beyond closing hours to shop. I left 5 mins before closing. Would of been sooner if they left me alone. The second time, the cashier at check out is super aggressive and rude. Heard her tell a customer off on the phone also. Unsure why they let someone that rude work customer service. Will definitely go to hobby lobby or Micheals next time.

I do not live in Dublin. I had to drive by thought I would come into this Joanne's. Man it was great It was big and colorful and I really like the layout. Unfortunately the employees were less than welcoming. There were several on the floor and not really wanting to talk to customers. The cashier was a little rude actually. Although she was the only one up there she had a long line and she had to go bring out somebody's order. But she was not very interested in my smiles rewards number until I made her be interested. Don't understand. Anyway lots of stuff big bright beautiful place. Just be prepared to do without actual help.

This store was closed for quite a while. However it has come back in a big way. Lots of great merchandise in many colors, it would make Joseph jealous. Prices are competitive. The fabric department is without equal in the TriCity area. You owe it to yourself to visit this recently remolded store.

Dublin Joann's has horrible employees. They make sure to have full conversation amd not help customers even if uou stand directly in front of them. If this store last another year I would be shocked.

Livermore location is closing in Jan. Dublin is 1 of few places left for crafts and fabrics. Has seasonal decorations.

The store itself was nice and had a lot to offer. Customer service wise was very subpar. One employee, wish I would’ve gotten her name was very nice and helpful about my project. Another employee gave me a very judging face and weird look about it. How do you work in a crafts store and judge other people’s idea?

Disappointed that they have sale signs posted and will not honor what is posted. The thread was signed on sale for 1.99 with a sign right next to it saying it was buy 3 get 2 free. They will not honor this and make you choose. Also, please have more people working check out.

I had to travel 25 miles to this store & this location
had everything & more that I was looking for. It was also clean, organized & well staffed unlike the El Cerrito location. I needed this costume pattern which I called around for & was able to find it in Dublin. Their pattern files were very organized & well stocked. Their cutting area was amazingly fully staffed with a very well designed Customer sign-in system which keep the order of things clear, moving & timely. The Cashiers were also remarkably efficient & very helpful making attempts to include current & available discounts.
The distance I traveled to this location was very well worth it for me overall. I'm glad I did.

Went to their store today to see if they carried any items for Diwali. Asked a store employee, and their response was very rude and culturally indifferent. With the diversity and population that Pleasanton and Dublin has of Indian families, really disappointed that the workers in Jo-Ann fabric did not even know what Diwali was.

If you have not been to Joann Fabric and Crafts in a while, now is the time to get working on that costume! I wish I had asked permission to take a picture of a mother holding a tail that she was and her daughter would be using for a Cosplay outfit for attendance at a convention.

I went in for a fabric pen (which I found) in a craft aisle. They happened to be on sale, so that was good.

When I got in line there had to be 12 people ahead of me. I was happy to see so many enthusiasts getting bits and bobs.

The only cashier was so nice. She announed that she saw us all in line, and had called for help. I suggested we apply for jobs, since there was a sign seeking help.

Every store employee was really helpful, and you could find them easily. Most stores you have to walk the aisles to find someone, and usually they do not know where a product is. I found my darner, patches for my jeans, but forgot my velcro, so will be heading back.

Thanks team Joann for a renewed visit of crafts; scrapbooking tools and machines; fabrics, etc. See you soon.

Every Salesforce Member seem so very pleasant and helpful. The ability to suggest easier ways to complete my task of using 5 inch thick foam to build a set of foam pieces to build a set of stairs to help my dog jump into bed made for a pleasant surprise. I was a little sticker shocked about the price of material but there was a sales of 25% off.

The clearance section is unique to each store, this one had a fantastic deal on Iron trestle.

Beautiful pieces I found here. I needed to have my body measurement taken, I went in to get a measuring tape but the staff here was magnanimous to help me take the measurements I needed. I will be visiting here every time I need to make a piece of clothing or blinds.

Generally the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. They have a large selection of different fabrics and prints (for wife's mask making). They have Proofgrade (Glowforge) products and even a unit to rent by the hour. Only complains is there is usually only 1 cashier, and she normally doesn't pay enough attention to call someone to help until the line is midway back into the store, she was friendly though.

Normally there is great service and there is no problem. I’m always allowed to use the coupons that I bring.This time the cashier was very rude and condescending about coupons. She told me I had to download the app to use the coupons. App took forever to download. Then told me none of the coupons could be used.She also said I could not use the coupon that I had brought with me from my last purchase. All around not friendly at all :,(

Beautiful store. Tons of options. Horrible customer service. The guy who helped cut the fabric was condescending and passive aggressive. Not friendly or helpful. He also told us we had to check in for fabric on the computer even though there was no line, yet told another lady she did not. Manager who was working cashier up front also extremely rude. A lady walked in to pick up a order but was unsure exactly what she ordered (which she could of just been picking up for a friend, her mom, her grandma..etc) and was so rude to her. She was snippity with us while checking out as well. Really quite unfortunate because the store is great but we wanted to get out as fast as possible because of the vibes of the employees. Be kind and have patience!!

This store is the best one you can go to! JT is amazing and is so helpful! I wanted a fabric that was online and she helped us look literally around the entire store and back. I have called 4 other Joann's to locate a specific fabric. Some of them had what I needed, but didn't want to put in the extra effort to verify the size available. Heather at the Dublin location went above and beyond for me. I truly appreciate great customer service. It doesn't go unnoticed.

Bad service at the cutting table. People after me got waited on even I put my name in the computer before them. I was told that my name was not in there. I had one little thing to get cut. I walked out so I did not spend any money there and I will tell my friends not to go there or any of the Joann’s.

I love this store. Great deals today. With the heatwave and fires its quite a treat to step into this store and get some burlap for my plants so they don't get burned by the sun. I always find other items to keep the creativity going. Thanks Joannes fabrics. Staff was friendly too.

If it wasn't for the fact that they have a good selection of fabric I would never come back. The staff are so rude and act like they're doing you a favor if they help you at all. Li was especially rude and it's people like that who shouldn't be in the customer service industry to begin with.

Pick up hours during shut down are 11-6. You wait in a line of cars that wraps behind a nearby building and then call when you're close to the front.

The Dublin store has been recently remodelled with some great new features. Better store appearance, tables and lighting. It's a fun place to shop. Some of the store personnel are very helpful but some employees can be quite rude.

It took the cutting table clerk 15 scissor cuts to get across 20” of fabric! Not one employee seemed to have any knowledge of sewing. Oh and the kiosk to sign in for fabric cutting when the clerk is standing there waiting for you to sign in so she can be allowed to cut your fabric. No patience for Joann corporate—online shopping for me and NOT at Joann!

This location is finally re-open, and it is amazing! The entire store has been completely renovated, everything is so shiny and new! There are multiple cutting counters right in the center in a nice big open area, it really feels welcoming. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

Last time I was there it was still permently closed. The roof caved in several months ago, didn't seem like it was even being repaired? Very dissapointed as this was a great Joann's to shop at, before the roof caved in.

The 2 reviews posted in the last three weeks are wrong!! I hope Google will review them or ask the posters to correct their info as I’m sure they have the wrong location in mind. The Dublin store, as of four days ago at least, is still closed. CLOSED CLOSED. Orange notices all over the front along with some other legal notices not to enter not safe etc. etc. The construction was not finished yet as of three days ago

Very friendly staff, quiet and we found everything we needed for our arts and crafts project. More expensive than getting it online. But it's nice being able to get inspired by different projects one can start and having the instant gratification of getting it then and there.
