Service here is AMAZING!! Damon is the king of helpfulness!!
My wife has been shopping for hiking boots for the past few weeks. Looking and looking for shoes in the area including another Big 5. But the moment she walked into this big five. It was an amazing experience. Damon was methodical and understanding of my wife's circumstances. He was not at all looking to rush us. He wanted us to find the perfect shoe. His knowledge in shoes surpasses all comprehension. He pointed us through a number of shoes each better than the last.
Anytime my wife has to get shoes, It's a horror show because of her particular needs. I think we'll be coming back here exclusively because Damon is just that Amazing!!

Friendly, helpful, front of store parking.
Con:
Suggest running the homeless away from the store since one actually grabbed a 10 year olds new bike from him and took off, the home shouldn’t be camping out down the side and behind the store.

I haven't been to Big 5 in years...used to shop there all the time when my children were young ...I went in for running shoes...found what I wanted and then some...lol...all things sports and outdoorsy are available there. Great experience...

Visited store in Dublin to get shot gun shells for the Pleasanton gun range. Clean place but the process to obtain ammo took forever.

I had a great experience, as usual, at Big-5 in Dublin. I was greated when coming through the front door and asked by a couple employees if I needed any assistance while I was browsing around the store. I ended up at gun counter to look at binoculars. The person that helped me was fantastic and explained the options. I think she may be the manager and she has been very helpful on previous visits. Anyway, great service and I always seem to find good bargains there.

We just were in dublin big 5. Shout out to the clerk that helped us locate what my daughter was looking for. She was friendly. Sadly it didn’t fit my daughter right. But her customer service was A+ ( forgot to look at her name tag)

Found this a unique sporting goods place - fewer variety but good quality! Have bought a lot of items from here - Tennis, fun games, sports injury protection items. Friendly staff!

I arrived at 8:15 pm. I thought the store closed at 9:00pm. I was still shopping when an employee told another they still have a customer in the store. that was when I asked what time they close . They patently waited for me to finish. Great staff

The employees at this Big 5 store are very helpful. They always ask if they could help find what we're looking for and take the extra effort to make suggestions and go into the back stock room to check for sizes. I wonder if it's a change in Big 5 or if the store is well managed I hope it's both.

Came in looking for a jacket and did not find one but I was very impressed with the attention I got from every single employee that works there. Very helpful and courteous, excellent customer service ➕ big plus 👍

It's amazing that a store with such a small "foot print" would offer something for everyone. The sales team is always so helpful and upbeat. The store is clean and jammed pack with merchandise everywhere. Sometimes it's a little difficult to see the forest through the trees but no ones complaining.

I always watch the online daily ads, they come via email. I have found some great deals on products I watch. It only takes a few seconds to look at the ad and once in awhile I've found great bargains.

What's for the big 5 print ads. Anything that's on those ads are priced very attractively. They have a fairly wide selection of all the various sporting goods but they usually don't have an extensive Inventory of any one sport.

They are one of the best sport equipment shop. I was able to find a tennis racket which was in another store and called them to send to this store and within 1 week, was able to get it with the discount price!! Awesome staff with nice friendly attitude..

Large chain with large selection. Conveniently located in Dublin near 680/580 freeway. Those not familiar with store layout can be overwhelmed with volume of items. Impulse buyers beware. They prey on you with their deals and manager's specials.
