Organized and fairly clean. I don't usually find much here and usually walk out empty handed. Inventory is large, but stale. They dont have any extra markdowns or color coded days like other thrift stores typically do. I do see an organized line and helpers for donation drop offs at the front.

Hit up other places first if you are looking for charm, great finds, or great prices.

They overprice most of their items. You can get it way cheaper somewhere else with the sale price or at target, Walmart on some of the stuff. I like the old goodwill across the street better.

This place is AWFUL! Everything is marked up way too high, it smells, and basically rips off the community it serves. I love thrift stores. At many times in my life I have depended on them to get quality used goods. This place is a junk shop where the junk is more expensive than buying something new. Example: There is a whole shelf of glass jelly jars and other food jars that people normally toss in the recycling. They are all marked three or four dollars. Do not waste your time with this place. Donate elsewhere. I won’t be back.

First time here, wasn't impressed to be honest. The prices on the clothing are ridiculous. $15 for a Shien shirt, Why? No dressing room either which is fine. Not even enough mirrors to make sure the clothes will fit. Disappointed to say the least. If you want customer service or anyone to help you? or just ask a question, not the place either. I been to several thrift stores but this one you have to extremely lower your optimistic expectations and build it up from there.

Sometimes find a good deal, other times just dig through clothes and little nicknacks and other items... Savers is a pretty decent store and I think at the very least they do a better job of managing their business than other big chain thrift stores. The people I have interacted with here are friendly, and the folks at the donation center are especially nice and helpful.

The store has no phone coverage , you can’t call while you inside or anyone call you !!. I don’t recommend this place , waste of time and money , if it’s organized in a different way , if they wash and clean the things before sell it , it could be ok , but NO No .

The dirtiest nastiest place ever. The manager is the rudest and the young men that work there are very disrespectful and not helpful to customers that need it . They treat their customers horribly they are not professional they all look dirty and there is stuff all over the place. Not only that but they charge prices so high that you can buy that item cheaper at a retail store and it’s new . They had a yoga mat from Ross that was new and it was $6.99 they were charging double that price. I will never be going there again and I’ve been a frequent customer for 20 years.

Been shopping here for years have never had an issue, but recent visit there was a bit of a line so we went to self checkout. While there, an employee came up to me and removed stuff from my cart stating those were not accurate prices and I could not purchase them. Then he began checking my other items basically accusing me of changing the prices myself. Then I went to use my coupon for the stuff I did stupidly (at that point I should have just left) end up purchasing, and he says its expired. I had just gotten it from the employee outside from the donations I brought in. He didnt believe me and asked me to go outside and if they gave me a new one I could continue with my purchase..
Clearly, I wont be back. These employees need to chill, you're selling other people's donations.

This was my first experience at a savers and it was not great. First of all the prices are incredibly high for a second-hand/thrift store but that makes sense because they are catching onto their audience as most places are. However, my problem was when I went to go look at a coat that a worker was bringing out on a rack. There had been no other problems with any other customers looking at the racks they were bringing out but when I asked politely if I could look at a coat all this lady said was "no" and started using her whole body to block the rack / try to get away from me. Another worker saw the whole ordeal, smiled/laughed and walked away. It was very rude and bizarre and to be honest it just felt racist as I was one of the only black people in the store at that time. I had a cart full of clothes and at that moment I felt so disrespected that I wanted to just leave and not give them any of my money. When I went to check-out I told the manager what happened and she was nice and apologetic about it and said that she would make note and let them know in the back but the whole situation had ruined my whole experience and made me never want to come back. I've been thrifting for years now and have never experienced something like that ever and I've been to thrift stores in the middle of nowhere. Would have never expected this type of experience from a chain thrift store in the bay. Unfortunately I don't think I will ever give them my business again.

Not impressed. Kind of a Costco version of thrift stores. I always enjoy big thrift stores but this one lacks any luster. Good for you basic stuff cheap like if you need an old pot/pan, dishes etc just to get you by. Quite a few items were in barely usable condition. Then they also have the very few rare items, like some jewelry that they were charging on higher end. Was an ok place and if you’re in the area stop by but don’t make any concerted efforts to go.

I had grabbed a few jerseys that I taught where a little highly price but I was going to use a coupon so why not but one didn’t have a price when I went to ask for a price on that one jersey the manager looked at the other jerseys that I was about to purchase and called the manager in charged of this department and changed the price in front of me to double and triple the price. And when I complain she said to read their policy that they can change their prices when ever they want. So when I said that if I went through self check out I wouldn’t had a problem. She responded that she would of had been looking at my transaction since I would of red flagged because I was purchasing jersey. It was a bad shopping experience I’ve been going there since they opened and never had this problem before I felt that it was a waste of time and I’m definitely not shopping here again knowing that they could change prices when ever they want.

Update: dressing rooms are closed. How are we supposed to buy clothes if we can't try them on? I come to brick and mortar stores so that I can try the clothes on unlike buying them online. The store looks like it's going to close down soon. They've moved stuff around and it looks emptier. Lots of clothes with holes. I don't think I'll be back until they bring the dressing rooms back.

This location is probably the best one in the immediate Bay Area but I seriously suggesting driving up to the one in Vacaville. No idea how it's so different but it really is. Prices too. 5.99$ for a dress unlike this place where I saw as high as 17.99$ This place also had a lot of stained clothing. HOwever, they are probably some good deals and there is a huge parking lot and a drive up/drop off area so you don't have to get out of your car for donations. Good idea Peeps!

It hurts to write this review but the prices have gone up INSANELY HIGH! Savers… you need to talk to whoever is in charge of pricing because you are losing customers. A tshirt should not be 7-10 unless it’s some bougee brand.

I’ve been coming to this location for years, it’s on my way home from work so I used to stop by at least twice a week and now I may become once a month but will instead go to Eco Thrift all the way in Hayward(way out of my way).

Please review your pricing plans.

It was locked in the cabinet and the price on the box was $119. The moment we decided to buy it, they brought it back and said’ double check the price’ after 30 minutes waiting in the store, they told us they will charge everything individually.
Basically they double the price in front of us when we decide to purchase, and make us waiting 30 minutes in store for no reason!
Good job savers!

They don't check anything. I have bought 3 electronics in the past 3 visits and not one works. If you are going to charge people for these items then you should at least check them and give them a wipe. The managers don't seem to help at all. The line can be backed up and they don't jump in. The just stand there and look around. I waited for 15 mins at the front counter to see something and the manager called someone and walked away. Would have taken a second but thats too much. Always loved going here with my kiddos.....until this last visit. Had issues with my card they charged a portion of my purchase but the rest wouldn't go through. The lady came and canceled my purchase but got an attitude when I pointed out that they had already charged part of my purchase. So I waited there to find out how I would get my refund and she came back asking why are you still here......well I want to be sure my purchase was canceled and that I will receive my refund for what I was already charged. Oh you will get it and it is canceled....then I pointed out that the screen showed a manager was needed to cancel it and she became even more rude. Then she asked what happened to all the stuff you took out in the cart already....um excuse me but my husband took my 2 month old child out in one cart and i gave you another cart with the items we ended up not wanting.....she treated me as though i was trying to steal something......I left the store to talk to my husband about it and was in the parking lot when she came out ( with a look of I hope she's not still here) and said would you like to come back in and speak with the store manager about getting your refund? Why yes, that would be grand. In the end just this one worker and their OVERPRICED DONATED ITEMS has ruined my love of this store. So no, no longer a fan.

And an added issue....more than once we have found something we wanted and there was a price tag for way cheaper than their price on it. When we ask well can we buy it for the cheaper price that is on it they say nope it's this price from this tag. Ok if that's your price why not remove the other price tag or give it for the cheaper one? Just my thoughts. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS PLACE!

Don't shop and expect to return anything if it does fit. Horrible customer service and lies about returns. The store manager was so unfriendly and rude. I will not shop here ever again. Hope you think twice before you buy something here.

I only donated household items and clothes to Savers but I have never shop there. I gave Savers 5 stars because of their overall mission and their place in our society.

Found another SF Giants πŸ“šπŸ˜Ž very clean store and seems bigger than the Vacaville location. This donation center was very busy today, Sunday, with a drive thru service being offered.😲😁

store management is a joke, if there were any. i found a piece of used toy. the price tag on it is $2.99. i hesitated, because such used toys can be found anywhere, but decided to buy it. so i waited 10 minutes in line. but, at the check out counter, their store manager said this toy should be $4.99. either she did not manage her price tagging team well, or she is on drugs today. either way, they are not holding themselves responsible. i cannot believe a thrift store can be so unprofessional. this would be my last time visiting this store.

Easy way to donate during a pandemic. Make sure to follow the signs to drive up and line up. Savers attendants will tell you where to go next. You’ll park out front when it’s your turn to drop off your items in a large green bin. There was a bit of a wait on a Saturday afternoon but the team is very organized and friendly.

Seems like there is new management trying to improve the store by raising the prices way to high, i been to this store for the last 4 months, but in the recent weeks prices really went up, please SAVERS dont forget all the items u get are donations, and i dont expect your prices to be dirt cheap but, but not like its been going these past weeks.

I was disappointed making the drive out here from Milpitas. We used to have one at our location before they shut down and their prices were competitive. This Savers, maybe due to the high demand, seemed to mark their prices higher than even Goodwill (I've been to 10 different Goodwills in the Bay) so I spent a few hours and walked out with only 2 VHS tapes. Albeit they have a huge selection of items. If I were to compare this to one of my other "best kept secret" thrift shops, I'd scavenge the other one over here in a heartbeat.

I like this place. I never go here looking for anything specific to buy, but I always leave with 4-5 items every time I go. Cool to walk around and see all the random stuff they have that you never even knew you'd want or like.

I can't help but be addicted to this store. As much as I try to only buy ONE outfit, I swear I got a weeks worth of outfits. I didn't have a goal to not wear the same garment twice in a year but.. pretty soon that subconscious goal will be met.
