Phuc Long Coffee and Tea
About the Company

Phuc Long tea is derived from two popular tea territories of Vietnam, Thai Nguyen and Bao Loc. Each of our tea products are fermented differently to provide distinct tastes and aroma. Aside from that, we also offer a variety of coffee products derived from Buon Me Thuoc, which cater to different tastes. After many years of experience, Phuc Long has made the best-quality tea leaves and coffee beans, in terms of both taste and smell.

I ordered a yogurt and a PL milk tea. My milk tea was hot when I was drinking it through my straw even though I ordered it cold. Im most upset about the yogurt. It tasted like it went bad. It didnt taste like Vietnamese yogurt. I will not be back..only go to the location in Vietnam..

80% similar to when I drank it in Vietnam. The jasmine tea is a bit sweeter than I thought. Phuc Long Milk Tea is very fragrant and strong. The menu has additional street food snacks (mixed rice paper, breadsticks,...), in front of the shop there is a low table like a sidewalk cafe style, quite chill. Must praise the mixed bread, delicious food and reasonable price. From Van Nuys driving to Garden Grove is not in vain. Dietary restrictions: Be careful if youre sensitive to caffeine, the tea issue is strong

The milk tea is not as flavorful as what I drink in Vietnam, but the pearls are delicious. In Vietnam, making this dish is so great, I remember it forever after drinking it, so I dont think the taste here comes yet The shop space is airy and the restroom is also clean The parking area is spacious because there is a school lot behind Occasionally there is fun acoustic music. In , having a space to gather and sing to each other is great. Tables and chairs in the front outside area help remember Vietnam The staff is cute, but every once in a while you should check which table the customer goes to and wipe the table, whether they take out the trash themselves or not, but you should at least take a quick look because I see a lot of tables that havent been cleaned yet. I recently tried the Vietnamese coffee here and was extremely disappointed. For the most important cup in the morning, the coffee was overpriced at almost $7, and I only received about two-thirds of what I expected. The quality was unimpressive and definitely not worth the price. The service also felt like a fast food chain experience the staff were just following instructions, but it didn t make up for the lack of value. Sadly, I won t be returning.

Everyone, dont ever order Lucky tea in Phuc Long Orange County..I find it strange, it looks delicious and the word lucky sounds good, but I didnt expect that when I drink it, it feels like the smell of Chinese medicine. I brought my husband and children to try it all. Im sorry . I asked if I could change it to another country but Maneger only had 50-% off. I didnt want to exchange it so I could take a photo. Let everyone know so they dont lose money on the order. The milk tea is hot on the bottom and cold on the top. I dont know how to drink. In general, never come back to Phuc Long in Santa Anna again

Great atmosphere - reminded me of the street cafes in Vietnam, especially with the open patio area and stool seats/tables. They have lychee tea, Viet coffee, classic lattes, milk tea, and pastries/banh mi. Definitely a cool place to visit to hangout or study!! The strip of shops in the area is nice to check out too. Some boutiques, restaurants, bars, and a farmer market on weekends. We went on Sunday around 10am.

Came to visit while there was an Euro football match, so of course its loud and cant stay for long. Decided to take my order to go. It took them abour 15 for 2 drinks, the lychee jamine tea was made half full, may be because Ive ordered it light ice? Another one was Milk tea with crystal boba, but when I brough it to my kid and she claimed that it was no boba in it. So he forgot it. I know it was crowed and busy, but I felt like the staff just didnt pay much attention on my order. Also the drinks were not as good as Ive had in Vietnam.

A nice cafe on main street with both indoor and outdoor seating. I came in to have a light breakfast and ordered a pork belly bahn mi and a blended matcha . There are miniature folding chairs and low tables set up at the outdoor patio and despite the size I did not felt cramp sitting as I waited for the remote device they handed to notify me that my order is ready. The bahn mi was crispy on the surface but soft in side and a joy to bite into. There was enough pork along with pickled sliced carrots and cucumbers. The blended matcha was refreshing and did not felt like they added too much Ice as I can taste the matcha. Great option for breakfast or brunch.

The restaurant should have staff clean the chairs at the end of the day. The wooden chair area inside probably hasnt been cleaned for a long time so it has a very unpleasant sweat smell. Extremely busy coffee shop. I came because I was a big fan of Phuc Long chains in VN. The first impression was that it reminded me of Vietnam. The decor, the customers and the menu. There was a long line even though I visited near closing time. Heard that this was common here. For the drinks, I ordered Peach Black Tea and Phuc Long Milk Tea. To tell the truth, I was disappointed. It wasn t because they didn t fill it to the top. It was the same in VN, if you order without ice, you only get 1/3 of the cup, so I didn t mind the not full cups. BUT, the taste was off!!! I tasted PL in Vietnam several times to know if this is authentic or not. It s like they water down the original recipe to make it fill more of the cup, like 1/2. I like the original strong taste of tea provided by Phuc Long chains in Vietnam. This one made me feel like I m drinking powdered milk tea. Parking: Nearby limited free parking lots, you have to find them. Kid-friendliness: Sweets, snacks, cakes, milk tea. I m sure kids love these. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair entrance and roadside

The restaurant space is quite spacious, has many seats and is relatively comfortable whether sitting inside or outside. *** Each person has a different taste/experience *** I really like this Phuc Long Coffee and Tea chain, so I gave it a try when I visit CA. I tried both milk tea and coffee, and they taste so good. The tastes were mostly the same when I tried them in Vietnam. Theres not much difference. My experience was great, but I heard from my friends that they had bad experiences. In my view, your experience is determined by the barista who made your drink and the staffs experience in resolving issues.

I adore their Olong milk tea, which is strong, tasty, and not overly sweet. Both cold and hot options are great. The space is quite spacious, making it great for large group gatherings. The shops regulations refuse to accept bills of $50 or more for fear of counterfeit money. If you are afraid of fake money, I think the shop should ask customers to only pay with cards. I think if they accept cash to reduce bank fees, the shop can buy a machine to check fake/real money or increase prices. I think all denominations of money issued by the government should not be rejected. I honestly dont know how many people are happy to pay money only to be refused for the reason of FEAR OF FAKE MONEY

Update 5/20/23: still too much ice. There s quite a wait on weekends it seems. Took me an hour to order and get my drink... but the drinks are so small, smallest I ve seen for a $5 drink. I get this is their standard size but it s not gonna fly here if you re charging socal prices and giving ant size drinks. There s a lot of ice too but that s not the real issue, it s the minuscule size of the drinks. I was done with it after a couple sips. Granted it was a very good peach black tea, possibly the best I ve had, but is it $5 worth? Hmm. Also have a few other drinks I got that I ll be drinking as well but I can already tell hype will eventually die and people aren t gonna think twice about revisiting when other places have equally good drinks at the same price with twice the amount. I get there s serious inflation but this ain t it. Update 4/8/22: so they have bigger cups now but they automatically order L if you don t say anything and they still put too much ice. After you take ice out of each drink, it s basically only half the cup left. There s less of a wait now. Update 5/7/23: drinks are bigger since they opened and I enjoy all their drinks. My recs are cloudy coffee, signature coffee milk tea and the peach black tea!

Its so boring that I asked for some condensed milk, so why be so stressed and have such an attitude?

Cute decor but drinks are huge disappointment. If you had it back in Vietnam, dont expect it to taste the same. Other than that, it made my stomach upset too so definitely not coming back here, there are better drinks place in the area.

Not sure why its always busy, but its not worth the wait or the price. They will only give you half a cup if you order your drink without ice.

My partner and I both got the coconut blended coffee and we both loved it. The line moved quickly on this Sunday morning. The vibe of the coffee shop was nice and relaxing. I love my pastries so I was a little disappointed with the small selection that they had. I did end up with a slice of lemon cake and it was very delicious. I will definitely be back next time I m at the farmers market.

Finally tried out this place after driving by and always seeing a line out the door. Decor is super cute. Lots of seats. I think it s cute that they have the small chairs in the front off the sidewalk to mimic the coffee shops in Vietnam. Cute little touch. Service was not as friendly as I thought. The young lady taking our order seemed irritated that we didn t know what we wanted. It was our first time so we took a little longer than usual. There was no one behind us and it wasn t crowded but I still felt rushed. Drinks were refreshing and not too sweet. We ordered the Peach Black Tea, Lychee Lotus Tea, Phuc Long Milk Tea, and the Cloudy Lotus Jasmine Tea. We enjoyed them all minus the last one. It was mostly cream. You barely get any tea so it was very overwhelming. After two sips it s all cream. The vibe is cute and most of the drinks were good. If I m in the area and it s hot, I would probably swing by.

Popular Vietnamese chain with strong coffee and tea. Theres plenty of parking behind the building. A lot of Vietnamese students & expats hang out here. Its famous for its coffee but the tea is alright. The taste is average compared to 100+ tea places around here. Seating space is small and can be crowded on weekends. Overall, its famous for the brand but not worth a visit unless your friends really like the taste.

Phuc Long Coffee & Tea is a great option for a coffee shop in Orange County. I tend to come here over Intelligentsia and I think it is because they serve food and it is a great spot to have a meeting. I also like the vibe and environment. Everyone seems pretty chill and not really pretentious, which you can get from other coffee shops.

I was a big fan of Phuc Long when I was in Vietnam, I drank it almost every day. And recently, I heard that Phuc Long was available in the US (the first and only store in Garden Grove), so I was very excited. Today I finally had the chance to fly to LA, and of course the first thing I did was drink Phuc Long. I stayed a total of 3 days and drank Phuc Long twice. The first time I was so excited that I only noticed the difference in taste. That means I feel a bit disappointed because Phuc Long Milk Tea no longer has the typical tea smell, instead it has the smell of condensed milk. The second time I drank Jasmine Tea, just like the first time, the tea smell was very faint, I had to try really hard to smell the jasmine tea scent. My husband drinks Lucky tea, but when I tried it, I couldnt recognize the taste I used to drink. I tried to comfort myself and understand that any food brand that sets up shop elsewhere will change the flavor a bit to suit the tastes of the people there, so Its ok. Second is about price. When my husband and I ordered, the staff didnt ask about the size, just read the name of the drink and the price was $6 for a glass. In my opinion, its a bit expensive, more expensive than Starbucks large size. But the thing worth mentioning here is that at that price, it is very expensive for a glass of water that only takes about 3-4 sips, and the rest is all ice? Drink all the water and still fill the glass with ice. I thought it was just that sometimes, but when I read the reviews, I saw a lot of cases like mine. Worse, many comments said that the store sold the same as Vietnamese style, with a lot of ice and little water and no tea flavor. So I want to say, Phuc Long in Vietnam is very delicious, everyone, with little ice and a fragrant scent of tea. Sometimes I crave it at night and drink a small glass and stay up until morning. Its just that when I came here, everything changed a lot Hopefully Phuc Long Garden Grove will listen to everyones suggestions and change for the better to reach further. Hopefully the next time I have the opportunity to return, the experience will be better.

Tea has actual tea taste, but for basic tea, its full of ice and $6 a cup, too expensive for my liking. $3-4 is more reasonable and for God sakes less ice. Pictured is right after about 5 minutes and I had drank all the tea this is how much ice is in it...
