Well managed location. Parking lot is well lit and spacious. Plenty of cart racks. The shelves are well managed and the store is generally in stock. The grocery side has fresh produce and baked goods.
The drawback with this location that is the dependance on self checkout. I refuse to take a price increase on my purchases when I have to ring up the items myself.
This location has a large selection of the disney propaganda.
Easy entrance and exit with a traffic light.

This Target is my original go to growing up in garden grove that this place has made tremendous improvements. Being located by Disneyland resort, it has a great variety of Disney gear. They’re toy selection is really big and well organized and stocked.

Such a drag shopping at this location. Never enough registers open even though there are like 30 of them, long lines to check out at all times of the day. Pretty much any item you would want is either behind a locked case or spider wrapped. It's like they don't want people coming into the store at all any more.

I am mortified! I've been to this Target in the past because it's close to my work. Never again. I came to get family slippers and snacks to only be stalked by a homeless man, ignored by staff when I talked about my concerns, and still stuck in long long lines. Whether self checkout or at a register the wait is crazy. My husband watched as another homeless man tried on clothes from the store, including intimates, and placed them back on the racks since they weren't what they wanted. This is a health concern. I understand getting out of the cold but this act limits my compassion. I'd yell at my own child if they did that in public. Parwa, a register employee, put a positive ending on an otherwise horrible experience. She got us through fast with excellent customer service. I don't understand the first employee we met saying "well are they hurting anyone?"(In reference to the homeless man taking a shower in the restroom). Yes I'm sorry but this is risky, I have a child and shouldn't be worried about my safety while shopping or using the restroom. I will say the good parts about this store is Parwa's smile and care, that the store is very well stocked, and the makeup department now has locked barriers to reduce the crazy amount of theft. However because of this experience I will travel a bit farther to a different Target in the future.

Great location. This place is huge. One of the biggest Target stores I have been to. And from the looks of things, it is in the process of expanding even more. Lot's of groceries to chose from. A huge toy section and one of the biggest Disney stores in Target I have seen. Picked up a nice Disney shirt.

My wife and I stopped by this Target on the way to Christ Cathedral to get flowers. They have the flowers set up at the entrance so just be aware that they'll mostly dried up by the afternoon if you're planning on getting them then. They didn't have a ton of selections but we were able to find what we needed. This Target size is pretty big so you'll likely find what you're looking for her. I paid at the self checkout, the flower we got didn't have a barcode on it so an employee went to get another one that had it. They have a big parking lot here so you'll be able to find a spot. They also have other stores or food places in the same plaza but it's blocked off with gates so you can't just walk to it. I think they do this so the Target guest can't park over there.

As a big Disney fan I loved the cheap Disney merchandise they’ve got here. Shirts and hats for family to match for a reasonable price! And merchandise they don’t even have in Disneyland itself. Great to stop by before heading to the park.
Also, the Starbucks here is nice! Had a great experience overall. Would come back again before my next Disneyland trip.

This location is severely lacking in leadership and employees. My husband tried to do a drive up pick up at about 7:15 AM when he got out of work at Uci medical after doing a 12 hour graveyard shift and he waited over 30 minutes, Called the store twice- No one picked up or came out. I had to go later while my son was napping to go get the items we needed and then it took about 35 minutes when I went inside the store. wild lol There s no reason for that it s very easy to see someone is waiting outside and send someone to say Hey, I m really sorry. We re very short staffed. It s gonna be a little while for your order. instead of just never acknowledging they are outside, waiting or answering the phone

Lights were low so it was hard to see; the AC couldnt keep up so it was warm; there was no stock on the shelves; only two registers were open besides one section of self check out. The lines looked like black Friday even though it was a random Monday afternoon. Asked for more registers to be opened since they had employees hanging around first services but they said that there were not enough employees on the floor to open more registers.

Wanted to get cashback service, waited whole 20minutes to self checkout. I used my debit card. Inserted not tapped. Never been asked for a cash back option as I normally used. Asked one of the employees and I have to get in a checkout line with the actual cashier works. So, people, if you see this posting, you cannot get a cashback service in the self-checkout stands.

As close as you are to Disneyland. You ve got 2 lanes open. Each a mile long. #terrible Employees are literally talking about being understaffed and not getting their CA mandatory breaks. Management apparently sucks.

Majority of store has items locked behind cases, makes the shopping experience less maneuverable and enjoyable. It s the start of making the area seem ghetto and crime-ridden. If stealing is as bad, then increase loss prevention.

Great place, close to Disney and has lot of Disney gift items and clothing! We got water and snacks here and a shirt for when we went to the park. Loved how close it was. Oh and there is a great Starbucks inside.

I will choose Walmart over this Target even if its farther away from my house. This thursday, 2/01, I kindly asked the team lead in the front lanes if I could use the self-check out which had no line whatsoever due to the fact that there were only 2 cashiers and the lines extended all the way around towards the starbucks side, and he straight up said no. His reasoning was that I needed ten items or less and I told him clearly it I only had 13 items. I proceeded to ask him why, if there were 3 registers available in the self check out, no line, see the picture below by the way, so you can see its true. I then asked him that maybe instead he could ring me up since he was just talking to another member while the lines were just getting longer and longer, but instead were chatting there ignoring the big lines. He then walked away when I asked him to call some responders to the front lanes, and refused to talk to me. He was an asian guy with a mullet haircut and earrings.

I had a good shopping at this target, but when I went over to buy some starbucks I had a horrible experience with the starbucks team member. Her name was emma, she had a horrible stank face when I was ordering my order and it seemed like me buying starbucks was annoying!!! If she doesn t want to work here then don t! Some of us want a decent shopping experience especially when people are with their family! I even tried to order some green tea and she said they were out but I could clearly see there was green tea in the cabinets.

I needed to buy a 4 drawer dresser and I knew I couldnt get it by myself. Darbin came to help me. I was there to assist, but Darbin picked it up by himself, put it in the basket and loaded it into my car. He was very sweet and kind. Darbin is a great asset to your Target team!

Be careful ordering drive up or pick up here. I was charged double for a bag I said no to. They charge you a baggage fee without giving you the option to say no. When the employee gave me my item I stated that I didnt want the bag. He said he will put no bag, but I was still charged an extra dollar as if I bought 10 bags.

Restroom needs ALOT of attention. New mop might be adequate as well. It s 2023 can we get ann updated receptacle for women s hygiene products? Why are they always so tiny? First time at this location for ordering online and picking up since I was on my way to have lunch with friends at Victory Diner. Unfriendly with a bad attitude customer service Latina female worker at pickup Monday 11.20.2023 11AMish. The latina female worker didnt even ask if I need help. She just looked at me point black. I rather stick to friendly and helpful Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, or Cerritos. These locations have employees with better manners than ghetto Garden Grove .

Its an OK location. I found what I needed, but the stationary shelves where I shopped needed major re-organizing. Things were at the wrong places, and a lot of items were mixed in. Or perhaps customers are not as respectful as they should be? Where they dont put things back to where they pick them up? Regardless, the management team should have walked the store on the hour, every hour, every aisle, to ensure organization is the top priority for best customer shopping experience.

No one will help you, they walk right past you and dont greet you or acknowledge you being in the store. Ordered for pickup it says trunk on the app and he goes do you want it in the trunk? Yes thats what I chose. Also after they loaded my car they left their cart and stood behind my car so I couldnt move which was stupid finally they got the clue and moved after a minute. The store sucks but its the closest to my house literally a block away. If its not that super important I go to Anaheim but if its something I need right away I go here and I hate doing it every time.

They don t answer their phone!!! When someone finally answers they hang up on you !!! Someone stoled my items with my receipt in it and they gave them a refund!!! I m surprised they would do that without an ID!!!!!

A pretty standard Target store. They have plenty of parking spaces in the lot, including handicapped/disabled. This location is spacious and has a nice large clothing section - with a bunch of fitting rooms with great full length mirrors and couches for sitting. The only bummer is that it gets quite busy at the check-outs and they dont usually have all the tills open. So you usually have to stand in line for 10-15 minutes before getting to a cashier.

My sister is feeling unwell so I came to get some pain relievers for her and I have rang the OTC bell a total of 10x times now. I went to CVS, told me I needed Target staff, went to get someone. Spoke to 5 people before I could get the medicine. I understand why the things are locked but why am I waiting 15 minutes and having to hound people down to get OTC meds??

This place never fails to be out of stock on an item were looking for. Theyve locked a bunch of stuff up, but dont have enough employees to respond to unlock requests, so I hope you dont mind waiting. On top of it all, some areas look like theyve been freshly looted, because the shelves are an utter mess. Id highly suggest driving to a different Target or Wal-Mart instead, or hitting up the Vons just down the street.

This target is a nightmare to park in, to get out of, and to shop at. Workers are incredibly rude and never attentive towards customer needs. I had an awkward experience with the electronic section during my shopping experience because the worker that came and opened the item case door that was locked just stood there not knowing even asking what it was needed. Nearly hit me with the glass door when they finally opened it. There s never enough checkouts open and the line that wraps around for the self check out is inconvenient. Whoever designed the layout of this store needs an actual brain and not worms in their head. The line gets so long sometimes it blocks the walkway and the entrance/exit.

What a service dissection, 4 months ago I bought a laptop and it turned out that after a short time I started having problems, it turns off by itself or it doesnt want to turn on, etc. When it came time to go to customer service, they let me know that it had been more than three months and my problem was that in just 4 months the laptop was ruined and in the end they didnt give me even a little support to solve the problem with the quality. I thought this device was a store that supported the customer but I see that they dont care at the end of it all.

I visited in August 2022 for the first time in 3 years, and since it is close to Disneyland and the Angels, there are not many Angels... Dodgers T-shirts and Mickey souvenirs are available at cheap prices! Is the T-shirt real? It feels like that, but the tag of Major League Baseball is still attached. I think it would be nice if more customers came... Last time there was an angel hat, but today there wasnt one. Will revisit in August 2023. Disney characters are always cheap and good! However, there were no Angels products. I was planning to buy in bulk, but Im disappointed. Has the food department been renovated since last year? It seems that it is quite substantial in terms of quality and quality.

This Target NEVER has shopping carts available in the store, so bring one in with you from the parking lot. I live near by so I used to go grocery shopping here if I needed to get a few things quickly. Now I go to the Vons down the street. This Target ALWAYS has long check out lines even for the self checkout. In fact Im writing this review while standing in a line that isnt moving. Im done with store. I always see plenty of employees standing around, but apparently none of them are assigned to return carts or work the registers. Even ordering online and picking up from customer service will leave you waiting in a 20 min line at this location

I go to this Target in emergency situations and today my expectations for both emergencies went down the drain just like everyones hopes and dreams when they move to Hollywood. First, the bathroom had a bloody tampon on the floor that looked like it had been sitting there for a while, next the self checkout was about 15 people deep so decided to go to a cash register where Jean (the cashier) was by far the slowest cashier in history. Please move her where speed isnt needed....like cleaning the bathroom.
