Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I went to DQ last night I got there at 9:50 and the employees were already cleaning up although they close at 10:30 . The employees were extremely rude they didn’t ask me if I was ready to order or anything in all reality they didn’t even acknowledge me I had to tell the cashier I was ready. And while she was taking me order she just didn’t have no customer service skills at all. Then a bunch of people started walking in so there was line almost formed outside . I then proceeded to fill up my soda and there was no lids so I asked one of the male employees if he could give me a lid please because there was none he just looked at me in disgust and put it up there nothing came out of his mouth . Food is good here but if customer service is always gonna be like that here I’m better not coming back here .

Came with a friend just because. I got a banana split. The cashier women were very accommodating and I work in customer service and even I wouldn't be as patient with myself because I asked them a lot of questions and they were very attentive to the way I wanted my banana split. Placed a online order for pick up and it was not what I expected. For custom cakes they ask for 2 days in advance to make the order. I ordered on 8/11 and on 8/13 they called me at 10:52 pm I was asleep. To let me know that they don't make log cakes if I want to cancel my order. I was upset because I was forced to get a bigger cake for a small event. I asked for a green frosting and got something very light more like a mint color and on line it was a dark color. I cant say much the line in store was long and I was crowded to pick up a cake the wait was like 15 minutes long. Very unprofessional will never purchase from this place again. It was a simple happy birthday cake shouldn't have been an issue. They are very unprofessional and wasted my time never called me to confirm is my cake was ready. I had to call and find out. I followed the policies and they didn't... It was a special event and it was not what I expected. I would have found something like this pre made at a grocery store. I'm sorry bad service not what I expected.

Honestly I love dairy queen been going since I was a kid and this place has always been decent. Tonight was one of the most horrible and disgusting experiences I've ever had in any fast food restaurant. The lack of cleanliness and regard for cross-contamination was Beyond atrocious and negligent. Yet the staff working seem to be having a great time amongst each other while the customers were hot irritable and left to wait for 30 to 45 minutes in order to place an order and just as long to receive it, multiple people received there blizzards served right side up and not upside down but due to the lack of cleanliness behind the counter did not want the next one free. I write this only because I truly loved Dairy Queen and the experiences that are associated with them but this one experience has truly dimmed the rest of them. I truly hope that this staff and franchise cleans up their act, no pun intended. To top off the night they got my order wrong and gave me the right blizzard but it was with the most attitude and both were served right side up needless to say I did not mention it and the reason being ,I will

Going here was absolutely the worst part about my day. There were two workers, what looked like a disheveled young man and a careless woman. She was mopping with an hour left until closing and glared at me while communicating with the other employee about how inconsiderate it is for me to order there just because they were mopping. I ordered a peanut butter parfait, the guy who took my order rolled his eyes. My partner who only ordered a large water cup was then asked to pay 3.69 for it. We said we wouldn t pay that and asked for a small water cup which was told to be free, it was a literal shot glass which we happened to spill on the way out since the floor was wet and we slipped. If I could give negative stars I would, but maybe this was some sort of profiling which will not be tolerated. 3.69 for a water cup is an audacious ask combined with the horrific service. I understand bad days but this was some of the worst service I have ever received. This took place on 10/14/24 at roughly 9:45 PM.

I just picked up a cake to deliver for DoorDash and they did not have a bag for me. I am now desperately holding the cake which is precariously placed in this plastic container. I would never order anything from this location if you need Dairy Queen go to a decent place.

I really enjoyed the blizzards.They have so many different flavors, very tasty. Kid-friendliness: The kids cant get enough of the ice cream. If theyre hungry, theres plenty of food there. Burgers, chicken strips so forth. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp thats located between dairy, Queen, and school First Credit Union.

I ordered 1 MD Sundae and 1 MD Blizzard from Braden. He knew nothing about your Rewards program as I tried to give him my phone number his reply was, Dont you have a card or something that they gave you?? At first, he looked lost, but all of sudden, he just learned something new and how to do the phone number to earn points. So that was just odd, but it gets better as they are calling orders by number, so I am waiting for my number, but then people are yelling my order out, so I go get it. And figured it was done I am 1/4 of the way down into my Blizzard and then they call my number, so I take my Blizzard with me and ask how many times do I get this order?? And the answer was ??? we dont know, but the second Blizzard was served upside down. Dont see me stopping he again!!!

Grabbed a meal here on our first night after arriving from London. Burgers were great! Lots of pickles, but that suited me! Size of the fries portion was a bit small but onion rings were lovely and so was the famous Blizzard!

1st time in years due to not having one near me. No drive through but went inside and then it was not the cleanest inside. Two females and one male working. The females did not seem to want to be there, arms crossed and not interested in the customers. Acted like I was a jerk for even walking in. Bike lock on the cake doors. Signage and equipment rundown damage or not working. Asked for chocolate ice cream because everyone has vanilla and the did not have it. Little frusterating so I left.

My sister and I walked in just before 5:00pm this evening there was no one in the dining area. There were 3 young employees, two males and 1 female. At first glance the young lady looked as though she did not want to be there. We stood there watching them walk back and forth behind the counter. Neither one of them looked up at us or acknowledged us. After about 5 minutes we walked up to the counter and I said, so neither of you are going to acknowledge us or let us know youll be with us in a minute? And the young lady, short, petite curly redhead, said what? I stated that we had been standing there for 5 minutes and noone acknowledged us or let us know that theyd be with us shortly. With an attitude she rolled her eyes, shrugged her shoulders as if to say oh well I dont care. And still with an attitude she stood at the register to take our orders it seemed . As my sister was going to start her order I said, Lets go. When we turned around to walk out she sarcastically said have a good night. Needless to say I wont be going to that location anymore regardless of how close it is

Dont order Dairy Queen through Postmates! My fiance and I have had repeat problems every time we order through them (i.e. items missing, spilling, being incorrect, etc.), and trying to get support from Postmates is a NIGHTMARE. While Id like to say this is an isolated case, thats unfortunately not the cause, as I had problems just like this when I ordered Dairy Queen in Washington state. 90% of the time, youre going to have problems.

okay so a few days ago when my mom was driving home, my brother was saying something to her, except i couldnt tell what they were talking about because I had my headphones on and was listening to music. A couple minutes later, we park near the local Dairy Queen because I guess my brother wanted a shake or something. So we go in with a 20 dollar bill that my mom handed to us because of how tired she was, and we wait in a medium-sized line and wait. After ordering a few shakes and a blizzard* (*for my brother), we sat down to wait a couple minutes. Some time passes, and the DQ employee calls for two shakes (and a blizzard, though the blizzard came earlier). We took our stuff, and went back to the car. The wait for our shakes wasnt long, and when I arrived back I gave my mom her change, and she soon started up the car again. Not even two minutes later, I give her the shake she didnt order (she said she didnt want anything so naturally she did), and gave her one of the two straws. But before giving her the straw, I guess my straw became a nerf bullet because it completely vanished >:( I know I put my own straw somewhere but I didnt know that John Cena came in our car and abra kadabrad my straw because I COULDNT FIND IT. I looked everywhere that could because I knew the straw fell near I sat (the right backseat); I searched behind me, the front seat pocket, under the passenger seat (multiple times), on the floor, near the cup holder, around a pile of folders in the middle of the backseat, near my backpack, in the front seat pocket AGAIN, under my seat, but it was not there. A few minutes into my cars cavity search, I just gave up because it was a miracle that there were smaller straws at home. When I arrived home, I soon found the spare straws and just ate or drank my strawberry shake. Overall, if the shakes price lowered closer to $5, or if I could not lose my straw the next time we go to Dairy Queen, this would have been an easy 4 star.

Yells across the store how humiliating saying that we couldnt touch the Cake or even get assistance in a proper matter There was no sign saying such thing. The food was hot and tasty. I had chicken strips. Good value for the $7 special. The staff was friendly, but we had a hard time understanding each other. The place was fairly clean, but bathroom had no paper. Windows were cleaned, but had a haze making them look dirty. There were a few homeless hanging around outside.

Here at lunchtime during the week. Only one employee present. Kudos to Maria for showing up & running the place well. She was taking all of the orders, cooking all of the food, everything. Very busy. Almost every table was full & people were waiting in line to order. Maria, thank you for showing up today & taking care of us all! Worst experience tonight at this location, Lets start with the bad costumer service we visit this location because is the closest to our home is always short stuff and plus the employees are rude but ok we like Dairy Queen, this time we where waiting to order and this nice man was taking a order to the couple in front of us and Im assuming by mistake the cashier press a wrong key and he was trying to figure out what to do so he can give the right change and then this other employee with the most nasty attitude starts embarrassing the cashier in front of all the costumers telling him look what you did you making a big mess and giving him attitude rolling her eyes and making feel bad he was fixing the mistake he made giving the right change but this awful lady keep telling him stuff, the cashier was the only employee with nice attitude taking the orders so nice and polite but the two others were not in the good mood , when I received my order I ask the lady if she was the manager and she said no Im the one in charge right now, I ask her name and she said her name was Maria well I guess Maria doesnt know how treat her coworkers with respect, and plus she has a very bad costumer service

Absolutely the most AWFUL DQ we ve ever been to!! A simple order of two chicken strip meals were served with uncooked bread, 3 pieces of chicken instead of 4, bbq sauce poured in the box rather than the chicken and the slowest service ever. Came on the worst day, more than half of the blizzards were sold out. The usual blizzard I get didn t have a sold out label but when I tried ordering it, the cashier said it was sold out. So I had to read what is a microscopic menu with teeny tiny lettering and very few choices. Chose the chocolate dipped strawberry blizzard, just tastes like artificial strawberry with tiny shards of chocolate, just awful. I would pass on coming to this location again, the workers make you feel like an inconvenience even though it felt like the other way around for having to drive to this place.

Too expensive. Slow service!! employees dont acknowledge you until they are ready to do so if that. I waited 10 min at the actual register with three employees walking back and fourth and I can see 3 orders on there screen taking care of Doordash and deliveries and leaving a line of 4 people waiting for at least a hello. If I wasnt with My parents and them wanting to have it i would of been at coldstone trust me i tried. I wanted to say something and asked why they keep ignoring us and cant even tell us they might be busy but nothing crickets. not even apology spent 50 bucks on blizzards and dillybars and they forgot my dilly bars and made my mom feel uncomfortable by the way they grabbed receipt From Her. WILL NOT GO BACK EVER !! I DONT RECOMMEND THE BLIZZARDS WERENT NOT EVEN CLOSE TO FULL VERY SLOPPY. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

The employee was great. But the food was GARBAGE! I tasted frozen chicken strips from Walmart that were better tasting... It was over priced for the quality of food.

Got an email from Dairy Queen saying today is free cone day! Drove across town to find a sign on their door that they aren t participating in Free Cone Day. So disappointing!

Awful customer service and super slow as well. We were there for 20 minutes and it was not that busy and they did not take our order. We were not the only ones that left either due to the lack of service.

I just went in there and the girl in the front was SO RUDE! she denied my service because I was not wearing a mask so I went back to my car to get it but she was not nice about it at all. When I asked for two cups of ice she said she couldn t so I asked her to charge me for it and she said no because it was dishonest so then I proceed to tell her to charge me for two large drinks or two large cokes and she still said no.... from the looks of it she hates her job & is making the company loose money and if shes not happy there I suggest she gets another job because she doesn t have any good CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER! And after reading many reviews I suggest the owner gets new employees instead of just apologizing over and over again!!! Its not a good look for the owner! Edit: I attached a photo of the girl that took my order I got it from another review on here. save yourself a bad experience and don t go there.

The food is total slop. You ever see an animal that has crawled out of the water from an oil spill? Thats what the chili dog was like.

The place is too dirty, I dont recommend that the owners do nothing to keep the place clean, the machines, the floor is too dirty, try to go there with a fresh mind and take photos.

Could have been cleaner. I went because I wanted to try the new bacon burger they advertise, but they didnt even have it in stock. I ordered a chili cheese dog and it was some weird consistency that I couldnt even bite through.

Well, they just dont have a bathroom and theres no place to wash your hands, and they dont have an antibacterial gel dispenser either, but the burgers and ice cream are very good.

I ordered 2 cakes here and they were exactly as I wanted them. The prices were very very fair and I definitely will order from here again. The employee that took my order was very nice and helpful, and answered all my questions which made it easier to decide what to buy.
