I probably do the majority of my grocery shopping at Ralphs. I do not live in Anaheim but I am in this area on a weekly basis to visit my mom and often pickup groceries for her.
Honestly, I would give this location a rating of 3 stars max but in comparison to the other grocery stores nearby it's a solid 4 stars.
This location is small with a limited selection of products and there are often a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot and at the store entrance that definitely make the place feel unsafe. Sadly this is the cleanest store in the area that I've found.

I shop at this store quite often and i would say that the majority of employees are great people. I can’t say the same for their security. The sign on the door clearly shows

It’s 12:55am and the security says we’re closed and wont let me in. I said it’s 12:55, I just need to get a giftcard. He looked at me and said we’re closed. They should change the sign to say closes 6am- 12:50am!

Horrible experience. I'm an instacart shopper and had an order that included alcohol! Upon checkout a young lady gave me attitude and implied that I had a fake ID. Because the expiration date didn't match my birthday I have never heard of that before and I've never had problems with my ID so she called her manager, and her manager said the same thing! They humiliated me and made me feel like I was a fraud. I called the DMV. The DMV said in most cases that's true, but not always.It depends on the documentation you provide during the application process and since I'm not a US citizen I was a visa holder then, I had to provide my visa, which is why my expiration date is different and it was only valid for two years. They said that they should've never taken it that far. All they need to pay attention to is your birthday and the expiration date so I made sure to call corporate to let them know the issue because they need to train their managers, and I also called that store and complained and the assistant manager that helped me gave me attitude and seemed annoyed. They need to be trained properly.

Your checkout system is flawed. This is a rebuke of Ralph's checkout process; decisions made by management, executives and C-level people. In an attempt to save on labor and only use self checkout you've created a nightmare of a situation. There is ONE staff members available to help with specialty items yet constantly three or four guests waiting to be helped by said "attendant." And boy oh boy did they seem stressed and flustered, what a horrible job to be constantly running back and forth because you're so short-staffed ON PURPOSE. Creates a horrible guest experience at checkout. Props to Andrew, handling like a boss; being pulled in different directions, yet had a simple conversation during checkout of specialty items (alcohol.)

I've been going to this Ralph's for years, and I have not run into a negative experience with this year. The store is clean on the inside. The parking lot is very spacious. They have a nice supply of clearance items next to the sushi department where I always look forward to seeing what's available. The shelves are always neatly well-stocked, so I rarely run into an issue of not finding what I need. On top of that, the staff have always been so helpful especially when I need help at self-checkout.

I shop at Ralphs for the fuel points. This particular store is the worst stocked of any Ralphs Ive been in. This is surprising, since the aisles are cluttered with carts of goods to be shelves, but no one stocking. The center is shared with a Walgreens and a Jack in the Box. Several homeless people routinely panhandle in the parking lot, some are a bit scary.

Was at the self cashier having problems trying to cash out on March 3rd 1:00 a.m on Euclid and Chapman well at the same time three employees and the security guard talking among themselves and ignoring me when I needed help and then they started laughing at me very unprofessional never go back to the store again .

They had invited someone from the Epoch Times, a far-right newspaper run by the Chinese cult Falun Gong (of Shen Yun fame) to advertise in the store on 12/23/23. The paper (and cult) have promulgated the QAnon conspiracy and anti-vaccine misinformation, as well as false claims that the 2020 election was stolen. I don t know if someone didn t bother to look up the organization, or if they are sympathetic to its politics, but I don t think I care to shop here anymore. The manager was dismissive when I inquired about whether the paper s representative got permission to advertise at the corporate or the store level.

They profile here. They need to be trained that its not stealing unless you walk out the door with an unpaid item. Today I took my stroller and I was putting groceries in the bottom of the basket and the employees were starting at me giving me dirty looks with my baby and when I went to the cashier to pay an old lady walks up to me and says are you going to pay for the items in the bottom basket I felt embarrassed and I didnt want to make a scene and I let her help me with the items but after I left I dont think I will be returning ever again. Im sticking to trader Joes because they dont trip on me putting items in my babys stroller. Update: More then a year later -September 15 2023 -I have not shopped at this store since this review and I have been shopping at trader joes and El super and I spent thousands of dollars in these stores since and I will continue to do so.

Ralphs is my favorite supermarket hands down. They have their own sushi chef who makes sushi daily. They place the sushi in a tray you can grab one on the go or ask the chef to make you your own roll. Ralphs, the meat and seafood area have the best selection during the holidays great sales. The store is super clean and staff are always friendly. The bakery always give my kids treats when we come to say hi or pick up our favorite red velvet cake.

The self scan registers are ridiculous. For the time the employee kept coming over to my belt and swiping my stuff on top of eachother she could of just scanned it all and I would be gone but no the sensitivity of your new registers are ridiculous. I left over $200 on the belt. Keep your groceries. Until you come up with people to scan the groceries I wont be back!

I wanted to try out this Ralphs because I ve been having really bad experiences at the one on Ball rd. Great mistake. This one was even worse. there was a huge line because the self service registers were out of order and there were only 2 registers open (there were 3 but one got closed). On top of that, the absurd: one guy from the staff grabbed the speaker to announce that it was one of the staff member s birthday. Instead of wasting time on that nonsense, why don t you make an effort in providing a better service? Couldn t that guy (or whoever; even the birthday boy) open another register so people could pay and leave? Do you guys really have to disrespect people like that? Or is it that you just don t give a damn? As for me, I guess I ll continue shopping somewhere else. But then again, what do you care, right?

I shopped here everyday, but not ever since they stopped having the self checkout at night. It is just too much of a waste of time to on be stuck in line of waiting in the one checkout lane open with one cashier. It was much faster and more convenient when they had the self checkouts open at night. What used to be a daily shopping point for me is now one I avoid because of this inconvenience. Bring back the self checkout at night. Please. Rating changed from five stars to one star just because of this.

Ralphs has competitive prices around this area. I like that they have an app and that you can shop your groceries online. I do enjoy the drive up service. They always get my order right and the staff there is awesome. They try to get to know you and you get to know a little about them. Their produce is always nice and fresh. They have a bakery on site and carry a wide variety of grocery items. I would recommend signing up for their rewards program as the fuel rewards are the best. Last time I went to fill up I saved 40 Cents per gallon.

One of the workers and security guard were racially profiling my sister and I. While browsing of what to eat for lunch, we were being following around the store. This lady that works there, was not able to get her name but she was white, mid fifties and could not do her makeup; she was making snarky comments about my sister and I. Comments that we were stealing from the store. The security guard, did not catch his name as well but he was white and had a beard; he was rude to us, asking if we needed something in a rude demeanor. It would have been understandable if they asked us instead of being rude about the situation. I would not come here again, the behavior of the two was disrespectful. I do not feel comfortable coming back to the store.

Avoid this supermarket the manager Andrew he dont know the rules of the health department, and the employees too. I ask to take attention when cut my London broil beef and the employees not use the gloves and the plastic to separate the food from the skills this is very dangerous and when I tolk with the manager store Andrew he told me I dont know about this, avoid absolutely this supermarket its very dangerous for your helth. I like to thank Ralphs for having such an efficient and wonderful employee. I came to purchase some flowers and I wanted something special and the girl at thej floral département was amazing. She make me a very special arrangement my family loved it OLGA was amazing she puts a special touch on the flowers she told me she never work in a floral département before. I purchased a funeral arrangement and I was shocked with the special touches she put on each. Thank you Ralphs Management for having Olga in the Floral Department!! I have her for her efficiency and amazing customer service she is the fastest and hard working!!

Everything about this Ralphs is great. Great selection of products. Fresh. Good prices. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars because I had witnessed someone returning perishables @ check out. I didnt think perishables were returnable. Do they go back on the floor or thrown out? I hope, for health reasons, theyre thrown out and not put back on the floor. Who knows if the perishable foods were kept refrigerated/frozen before it was returned. Also, I understand friendly service but to keep chatting with a customer about personal stuff while theres obviously a long line is not cool.

My 5 star review is only for the floral department, specifically Olga. She is FANTASTIC!! I came in and chose some of my moms favorite flowers for her birthday, Olga offered her advice and knocked it out of the park. She really created a bouquet with my mom in mind from her heart, I truly appreciate and her service. Thank you, Olga.

As of right now they don t require people to wear a mask which can be a problem. But they do have social distance. When it comes to customer service I will give them a five Because they have no time to help you, But when they do , they are happy to do so and are very friendly. I don t like the long lines, The average person has to wait in line from 15 over 20 minutes , Even their self checkout or what I call fast lanes are long , the average wait time I saw was from 10 to 15 minutes. They have good prices and fresh fruits . One other problem that I see they have is that every 6 months or more they move everything around and that is very annoying ! Because it s a waste of time looking for items when you re in a hurry or have you re kid with you.

Ralphs is horrible. You never know what price something is. They have deals buy 10. Well what s the price of one. Very shady pricing practice. I use my card and it don t give me the discount. Ralphs should be brought up on price manipulation. And yes the help sucks there.

I had a great experience at this store. I had some problems with a card I was using and the checker Rose and the courtesy clerk Jacob were so patient and helpful, it really made the experience much easier and Jacob even gave the last dollar I needed to pay off my order. They totally saved my night, as I was able to bring groceries home to the family.

I misplaced my mask on the way to the store, so I asked a supervisor if I could have a disposable one. She refused, and said we dont do that anymore. You dont need a mask. I have allergies, so I was sneezing and sniffling - leaving gross snot everywhere. Myself and all the other customers were uncomfortable. I felt like a cad, being the only one with no face shield. I was spending nearly $100 in groceries, and you couldnt comp me a $0.10 disposable mask?!? I should have left and taken my business elsewhere. Ive been a loyal customer for many years, but I wont be coming back. Ralphs has behaved incredibly reckless and unprofessional with their excessive penny-pinching.

The store is clean and well stocked but on two occasions I happened to deal with two surly employees and I always go through self-check out! So stay away from Gloria and Martha. Maybe they were having bad days, but I wasnt, so spare me the indifference.

Really disappointed in Ralphs online bakery. I ordered a birthday cake online from them last year and no problems. This year, I obviously cant say the same. As you can see from the pictures, its definitely not the same cake. Which to me is FALSE ADVERTISING! Not even a courtesy call to let me know of any changes. Also, I ordered buttercream frosting (it even says buttercream on the receipt I got) but I got whipped cream instead. I definitely will not be using their online bakery again. Next time Ill use Frenchs Bakery.

Today while shopping at the Ralphs on Euclid and Chapman in Garden Grove, I had an episode of low blood sugar. I am an insulin dependent diabetic and was late having lunch. I started feeling the symptoms of low blood sugar so took my glucose tablets but started to feel worse. When I was checking out the checker, Stacey A., noticed I was not feeling well and stepped in to take care of me. She got me orange juice and offered a place to sit. Stacey then had two very sweet baggers see me to my car and stay with me for a bit to make sure I was doing better. It is this kind of caring that goes beyond customer service. Thank you for your kindness and care.

This is a top notch grocery store!

Don t go here if you want fresh seafood at 7 PM because there won t be anyone to help you. I waited thirty minutes and left with nothing because I was standing there for so long. I also requested help three times and got no response. So if you don t want to have to go to another store like I did I suggest you don t come here for your seafood needs.
