FireFly Burger

It's been a while since I've had a really good burger and this place really hit the spot. I got their Backfire burger and it was super delicious and cooked to perfection. I used to go to G Burger to get my burger fix but ever since they closed down all their locations it's been a bit tricky to find something similar. If any of you have ever had G Burger before then you know I know what I'm talking about when it comes to burgers. This place makes real burgers. The service was a bit slow but no big deal at all. The food came within 15-20 minutes and was well worth the wait. I spent about $20 - $30. My friend got the wings which were also crispy and delicious. Way better than any wingstop. Will definitely be back to try their other menu items. Glad I came across this place!

Edit: The people who gave this place low ratings are your typical food snobs. This is a lowkey family owned burger joint. I came here for the FOOD, and the food did NOT disappoint. Don't knock a place just because you couldn't find parking.

FireFly burger was a fun dinner experience and the size of the burgers are well worth the price. I went late at night so it was pretty much empty but the staff were cheery and patient as they explained their menu options.

I loved the decor and atmosphere. I especially appreciated that the tables include gloves so that you can eat your burger without getting sauce all over your hands.

I declined the cheese injection but I thought it was a cool concept that I hadn’t seen in any other burger joint before.

The most impressive part of the burger to me was the bun. I wished my cheese was more melted on the patty but all in all it was a solid burger. I felt like the FireFly sauce had a really mild flavor so the ground beef of the patty and the beef bacon really shone through.

The fries were amazing. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The Cajun seasoning is really flavorful on them too.

I’d definitely recommend you try it at least once!

Great service, the manager was very friendly and accommodating. He gave use extra drinks and sides as a Thankyou for waiting gift. The store is very clean and put together. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The taste was wonderful and all the flavors were well put together. Overall A++ experience. Will definitely be going again!

I found this place on google and I wanted to give it a try because it looked different. When I got here there was only 4 people and it was dead silent, no music and no atmosphere. Then we ordered and they took 35 minutes for our order to get done. It was only 3 of us and we didn’t even get a notice that our food will take a while, staff was unfriendly and dead. I get it, it’s work but at the same time, we didn’t do anything to them. Other than that the food was good but given the circumstances I don’t think I would be back. Check them out, maybe you’ll get a difference experience.

One star—but read on. I discovered this place on Yelp. As someone who loves burgers and fries and weighs in at 165 lbs at 5’9”, I had to check it out.

Parking was a nightmare, very limited, and it took me about 15 minutes of waiting. The establishment is cozy, and my expectations were high. When ordering, the cashier seemed indifferent, passive, and didn’t offer a smile.

After waiting around 10 minutes, I received my meal. During this time, I noticed a promotion for complimentary smoking and cheese injection mentioned on a laminated sign on the table. I decided to ask about it and was only offered the cheese injection; I felt uncomfortable to inquire further about the smoking. The server seemed unhappy and annoyed. I got the cheese injection but didn’t ask about the smoke. Just as I finished my burger, the server surprised me with three sauces. Now I’m thinking he might have noticed me taking photos of the meal. The dine-in experience felt awkward.

The food was okay. I liked the bun and the toppings, but the beef was nothing special. The complimentary cheese was the generic fake nacho cheese you get at movie theaters (as low quality as it gets). The fries were decent, and I enjoyed the seasoning. Drinks were limited to canned options or bottled water.

Upon leaving, the cashier/server finally smiled and asked how the food was (a little late but still appreciated). I was honest and said I liked the food but didn’t mention that my overall experience was disappointing.

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the unexpected three sauces and the smile at the end.

To sum it up, I won’t be returning due to the difficulty with parking, the price point, the quality versus cost, and the apathetic customer service.

This place was awesome! My hubby got their classic firefly burger and I got the grilled Bucharest chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and the sauces were amazing, the only thing that wasn’t amazing was the parking lot. Other than that 10/10

I visited Firefly today and had an incredible experience. The food was top-notch—everything tasted fresh and of high quality. The ambiance had a fun, laid-back baseball theme, which added to the overall vibe and made it a great spot to hang out. The service was also exceptional. Chef Kamal was so helpful and nice, making sure everything was perfect and adding a personal touch. Food cost WAY too much to get wrong this hard. Burger was supposed to come with bacon and I added extra to the order just to find out I get none at all. Not only that, I got the milkshake and to call it that is generous. Got more like 8 houses of strawberry milk that cost $8. I dont know if this was an off night for them or something but I wouldnt recommend it.

My husband and I came all the way from San Diego to eat here and it was worth the drive Customer service was great considering the man was cooking and serving. Really warm atmosphere. They give huge cups of beverages so you really don t need a refill. The smokey burger had caramelized onions and beef bacon which was so flavorful. Definitely recommend and I m excited to come back.

Stopped in here for a quick bite. Never tried a firefly Burger before. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. And the amount of choices and variety of burgers i have never tried before was great as well! This place! Handsome, bricked atmosphere, cozy lighting even during the day, and perfect for family nights with a few large booths that can seat good sized groups. The food tastes as amazing as it looks! And this place serves beef bacon! Beef bacon, not pork bacon! If youve never had the opportunity to try beef bacon from this place, youre missing out! Its a smaller place, no drive through, and parking definitely works against them here, but its easily remedied by maybe parking at the Ralphs or some place and walking over. Manager is warm and welcoming, too. Great little, under-rated place! Parking: Tiny parking lot.

Halal Backfire burger is decent but I would recommend single patty over double patty. Gentlemen mentioned it s spicy one. It was not at all. We mentioned 2 double and one single patty will not have cheese they included on all of them. Even single patty become double when we ordered single one for one order.. Ambiance is very nice.

My husband and I just came here for the first time and WOW! This burger restaurant is soooo yummy! I had the Backfire Burger, and it was truly delicious! The beef patties tasted extremely well-seasoned and as though the meat was grinded in-house. The bun is golden and light, perfect for the flavors of the lava chili sauce and the ooey gooey cheese!! The owner/manager was also quite a generous and gracious person! Thank you for your recommendations and your wonderful service! We were so happy to get a chance to eat here. I cant believe we had beverages been here before - but at least now we know to come here. I will also be sure to bring my siblings next time we all want to go out to eat together! Drove for 40 minutes to try this place out and was surely worth it. I tried the Smokey sandwich and it was super delicious. On top of that, the host Kamel was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely come back to try more options.

They had some construction work outside so their entrance was not in the best of shape but imagine if you re entering a secret prohibition era Speakeasy a getto on the outside with all kinds of goodies on the inside That s how I can describe this brilliant burger joint.. be careful making the same mistake I made and order a double as their giant 4.5 oz single patty is more than sufficient This is part of an international chain which originated in Amman Jordan which happened to be (in my humble opinion) home to some of the world s meanest hamburger joints Good work guys see you soon..

Amazing Halal Burgers in OC!! After hearing about it on social media, I drove to this place and tried it!! The establishment is beautifully decorated and feels very cozy. I ordered the original beef burger and the original chicken sandwich, the meat was very juicy and delicious, the cheese was very good, the buns were toasted well, and the sauces were very good. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a burger spot in OC.

My family and I while on vacation were in search of a local place. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent and the service was incredible. This being our first time the manager gave us a complimentary appetizer and because my wife talked about how fresh the buns were he even gave her some. We will definitely be back on our next vacation.

Service was okay. We got the firefly burger meal with onion rings. The firefly burger was decent but we literally only got 5 onion rings, that was such a small amount it was not worth the up charge. We also got an order of wings with barbecue sauce but the sauce they used wasn t the best tasting . Along with that we ordered some cheese fries but the amount of cheese was very minimal.

I always enjoy the food here. It s halal, and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly, often going the extra mile with complimentary sauces and other extras. I especially appreciated the older gentleman in the back (I believe his name is Kamel) who was extremely kind and helpful.

Im very disappointed Im here on a family trip to Disneyland with my family. came in a few days a ago to eat cashier were very nice but I have to say there was this older man very rude and disrespectful seem to be very angry since I got there with my family and kids I dont really appreciate the way he made my family feel . Horrible service. I called and nobody picked up the phone so I placed an online order, it said the order would be ready at 1150 so approx 30 min. I get to the place no customers inside and no cashier present. I take a sit and it takesaybe 5 min for one person, I think the only worker there to ask me something. It is now after 1150, he walks away saying nothing. He returns a few minutes later to the kitchen and maybe decides to work on my order. It is now 1216 and I still have got my food.

The instagram and reality is too different. Dirty place and not tasty at all. There is a toilet smell as soon as you enter the restaurant. We were the only costumers, we came it was empty we are leaving it is empty. Looks like family business, I mean you should clean little bit when no costumers. Will not be back definitely

Had an unforgettable dining experience at Firefly Burger! We tried the Kamikaze Burger, which had an amazing spicy kick and fresh, balanced ingredients. The Smoky Burger was a flavor explosion with the perfect amount of smokiness. The Backfire Burger combined textures and tastes in a delightful way, while the Original Burger showcased why classics never go out of style. It says on the google maps that it is supposed to be closed at 11PM and it was closed earlier we drove for almost 40 miles and saw the shop closed there were people inside working but they tend to ignore us & just for context we reached the store at 10:35PM sharp this is not supposed to done its really unprofessional!

I went with my friends to try a new halal spot they went over my expectations brother shade was a wonderful person. I would recommend this other than any other halal burger place.

Honestly this place is amazing, the vibe, the food, the service and everything. We ordered smokey burger it was one of the best burgers Ive had in a while, they are very generous and the cherry on the top was the Manager his name is Mohammed, he was amazing and very welcoming and provided us with great customers service. I will definitely be back here soon.

Unfortunately, Im very disappointed. Ive eaten Firefly in Amman many, many times, most recently a month ago, and I know precisely what the WALLSTREET burger tastes like. Still, this one was very disappointing, and the meat was disgusting. I couldnt eat it all low-quality plain meat. The food overall tasted awful and unfresh. The price is ridiculously high, given the portion and quality of the food. The place seemed unclean despite it being newly open. The bathroom is filthy and barely suitable for washing your hands. I dont recommend this place based on my experience. You can find mouthwatering halal burgers in CA that are reasonably priced and of excellent quality.

The fries is not fresh, the soda is like water only sugar and water no CO2 at all. They charge for the sauce. The food is horrible. Most of the appetizers were not available. Parking: The plaza is too small a lot of stores without having enough parking.

I recently visited Firefly, a burger restaurant that I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant smell that made me wonder about the cleanliness of the place. The floor was sticky, adding to my discomfort and setting a negative tone for the meal. When I ordered, I was hoping things would improve, but that wasnt the case. The burger bun was refrigerator-cold, while the meat patties, although hot, had a gamey taste that wasnt at all appetizing. The fries were no better they were soggy and cold. I want to be clear that Im writing this review because I genuinely hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves the overall experience for future customers. On a positive note, the crew members were super friendly and nice. Compared to the Firefly branch in Jordan, which Ive visited before, this location doesnt hold up. The only thing that seemed consistent was the sauce, which was good, but it wasnt enough to salvage the meal. Overall, I cant recommend this Firefly location based on my experience. The restaurant has a lot to work on, from cleanliness to food quality. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to ensure a better dining experience in the future.

This restaurant is significantly overpriced compared to others in the area.and i don t recommend it ,The food lacked any discernible quality; it and seemed to be made from cheap and frozen supermarket-grade all the ingredients are not fresh at all it s frozen . Even the fries were disappointing and far from fresh considering the steep price tag. The burger, priced at $22, was particularly disappointing it was tasteless and had an unpleasant odor . When I placed my order, I expected a high-quality meal , but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. The burger sauce was unappealing I couldn t even eat my meal and deeply regretted visiting this restaurant. I strongly advise against trying it unless you re comfortable with wasting money on subpar food.

I read all the reviews before deciding to try FireFly Burger for myself. All I can say is....I WASNT DISAPPOINTED at all. Words cant explain how good the service and food was. I recently visited firefly burger in Garden Grove City, California, and it exceeded all my expectations!
