The food was great and their homemade sangria was amazing! I was not a fan of the chicken Alfredo, but everything else was really tasty. The breaded zucchini’s are fresh non greasy and very tasty. They also have a great selection of IPA imported beers. The service is excellent. The only downside is the parking is extremely limited.

We ordered the meatball beef lasagna. It tasted okay. Wished they gave me some chili flakes and parmesan cheese with my order. Overall it was a good deal, if you spend 15 dollars, you get to choose a free mason jar lemonades or dessert. The lemonade was nice and refreshing on this hot day.

Yum yum yum! While staying nearby at Great Wolf Lodge we visited for a meal and were so pleasantly surprised! There is no kids menu so my kids split a chicken Alfredo. They raved for days about the yummy pasta! We tried the trio and chicken carbonara and both were so delicious! They give you bread to start! The service was top notch- quick and attentive! I highly recommend Carolinas and believe me you won’t leave hungry!

I was shocked to see this restaurant has a 4-star rating (as of the time I’m writing this) after having such a disappointing experience. After some research, I learned the quality here has been steadily declining.

I recently discovered an app called “Too Good to Go,” which offers discounted meals from restaurants to help reduce waste and encourage people to try new places. It’s a great concept, right?

The offer from this restaurant was a Family Tray Premium Surprise Bag - $13 (regular value $39). According to the app, the bag typically contains enough food to feed 4-6 people, likely pasta and a side, with the possibility of a dessert or appetizer.

The app clearly stated: “If you have questions about allergens or specific ingredients, please ask the store.” So, I called to confirm that the food wouldn’t contain pork, as neither I nor my family eat it. Seemed simple enough, right?

Unfortunately, I was met with rudeness from Rico, the manager. When I asked if the meal could avoid containing pork, he aggressively told me, “It’s a surprise bag; we don’t accept customization!” I wasn’t asking for customization, just trying to ensure the food fit my dietary restrictions. Even after explaining, Rico repeated the same answer, like he was reading from a script. What kind of customer service is that? I couldn’t help but wonder, if I had a severe allergy, would they also dismiss that?

After pushing further, Rico finally told me that “99% of the time the food doesn’t have pork,” so I reluctantly placed the order, hoping for the best. Big mistake.

When I arrived to pick up my order, the manager greeted me with zero enthusiasm. After I showed him my confirmation, he coldly instructed me to press “confirm pickup” on my phone and disappeared into the back. He returned with a pre-packaged bag, handed it to me without making eye contact, and said, “Have a good day,” before walking away.

Curious about what was in the meal, I asked him. He turned around, visibly irritated, rolled his eyes, and mumbled something about “spaghetti & &#$*?.” I had to ask twice more to understand him, and even then, it felt like pulling teeth. Exhausted by the poor interaction, I just took the bag and left.

Looking back, I regret not standing my ground about his unprofessional behavior. It felt disrespectful and borderline discriminatory, especially considering my dietary request alleging with a specific religion(s). While I don’t like to jump to conclusions, his behavior towards me after mentioning I don’t eat pork gave off a dismissive and hostile vibe, which could easily be perceived as discriminatory.

After reading other reviews, it seems this manager treats Too Good to Go users with the same dismissive attitude, as if we don’t deserve basic customer service. No smile, no utensils, and a meal that consisted of plain marinara spaghetti and a tiny dessert — no meat, no salad, nothing premium.

With so many complaints about this specific manager, it’s baffling that the restaurant still keeps him employed. This restaurant’s decline makes a lot more sense now. If you’re thinking about visiting, I’d recommend steering clear — especially if you’re ordering through Too Good to Go.

BAKED ZITI: 3/10. Huge serving size but looks nothing like images online. Also tastes strangely sweeter than normal. Perhaps too much sugar? There's a top layer that looks normal, but underneath is more watery. Tastes like sweetened pasta with watery seasoned ground beef.

PEPPERONI CALZONE: 4/10. A somewhat large calzone that comes with marinara sauce on the side, and a sizeable loaf of bread. Breaking open the calzone, a small puddle of oil seeped out. The pepperoni inside were stacked together as though small stacks of pepperoni slices were just haphazardly shoved in. Lots of cheese but unevenly spread with one area just being a huge chunk of melted cheese. The loaf of bread was oily, relatively tasteless besides the subtle taste of oil and garlic. Given a 4 because I took around a hour just taking apart the calzone to make myself some small pizza slices with the bread and marinara.

OVERALL: Not coming back. Thanks for reading.

UPDATE/EDIT: Nevermind about the pizza slices. The calzone pieces ended up literally soaked in pure oil and the pepperoni was ridiculously salty so I had to throw it out.

Cozy restaurant with excellent service and food! Ordered mozzarella cheese sticks, garlic knots, fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, creamy chipotle penne pasta with shrimp, mushrooms & onions, and Parmesan chicken & eggplant with meat sauce and penne pasta. The Parmesan chicken & eggplant are crispy & lightly breaded.

We got a little of everything. Spaghetti anf meatball Alfredo fettuccine woth chicken Eggplant parm Ravioli Garlic knot bread Carpres Lemonade Cookies They give you a good size portion of pasta, but the meats and eggplant are out of portions as in diffently not enough to. The quality is average, and the flavors are average. I guess the question is, would we come back . Maybe if there were no other options.

The food was really good. I got the trio of Italy that had three pastas. It was only $30 and I still had leftovers. I ended up taking home three containers I couldnt even get through half of it. My server Adolfo was also really amazing and really attentive throughout the night.

This place is amazing! Well worth having delivered or going to pick up if you are at Disney. I got a large pizza, 1lb of Alfredo, salad, garlic bread, and four sodas for $31.99. I ordered online and it was ready in like 20min. I would recommend this place to anyone whos tired of spending 150.00 on a meal for a family of five. Ill be going back for sure!!

Ive had better italian dishes out of the frozen food section at wal mart. My pasta dish tasted like 99 cent ragu with added sugar. Spaghetti os have better flavor than this. Charging this much for 4 chopped onions one meat ball in a box of rigatoni shells and 2 jars of ragu should be a crime against Italian food. Lets not even talk about the pizza... Save your self the hassle and grab a totinos party pizza. Idk how this place has such great ratings.

What kind of restaurant offers take out pasta and salad and then says they aren t required to provide a basic fork and napkin. Got my order of pasta and salad and thats what they told me. Even Olive Garden gives you with a damn fork even if you are getting take out. Ive only done take out, but this looks like a cute place to eat. Wednesdays they have a great $15.99 special that includes a family tray (entree), a decent sized salad, and bread. The entree varies each week and serves 4-6 people. The salad is excellent and a large portion. The bread is bread, and nothing to write home about. They have balsamic vinegar you can eat with it, which may help, but that costs extra. Entrees Ive tried (Wednesdays): Spaghetti Marinara - the sauce is pretty good (mild and flavorful) and I wish they added a little more. I add quartered meatballs from Costco and its perfect. Beef Lasagna - tons of beef! So much so that I wish there was a little more sauce and ricotta. Fettuccine Alfredo - three top layers of pasta have been dry (not enough sauce). The saucy part is good but not great. While its a much better deal, Olive Garden alfredo has them beat by a mile. Chicken or other proteins can be added. The chicken just tastes like boiled breasts with no seasoning. Pizza bread ($2.99 on Wednesdays) - Very tasty but looks nothing like their menu pictures. Its bread with ham and cheese rolled up and cooked in it. Marinara is included for dipping (use any extra on your pasta). The restaurant also participates in Too Good To Go. Havent really enjoyed the pasta salad through there. Usually they offer Spaghetti marinara. Staff at pickup are great. Theyre partly why I keep coming back.

Today I was in your restaurant picking up two quantity orders from the two good to go out. I was given one, but I showed the cashier that it was two quantities that I was picking up. The manager came in to see the show the proof of my receipt, but he aggressively wanted to see my app, no problem. I had to call out and ask him why he was coming at me so aggressively so rude so anger so hostile like I m stealing from him, I told him you re acting like I m stealing from you and he said he wanted to make sure that the second order did not get picked up. I placed in one order so that does that tell you he s already accusing me of stealing it, he gets mad and he even shout at me saying that he wasn t hostile, he makes a gesture in the middle of the pick up area and between the ice refrigerators with the cold drinks holding back a gesture like he was going to hit me or at least restraining himself from doing something he was going to regret I hope you check out the cameras that s proof you can see it in there. he does say in a hostile tone that he did not come at me like that, but if he does, he apologizes but still walked off very angry. The cashier girl just smiled course my way, and as he walks by, he s angered and says what kind of a bullying her.Definitely made another customer feel awkward because that manager caused a scene in front of his staff, and even his staff was smiling about the situation. Tell me he must bully his staff a lot for someone to actually be able to stand up and ask why is he acting like this? I understand management is a stressful job, but I did nothing more than pick up my food or at least trying to. I didn t go into the restaurant looking for confrontation or a hostile manager wanting to hit me and like I said you can check the cameras as well as to see if there is a corporate number and I can provide proof of him on the phone because I have it recorded saying this is the corporate place, and the managers will take care of it. There s nobody higher than the managers and I have that in recording and I can provide that documentation which I know that s a lie like that does not deserve management especially if you re gonna hit one of your customers is my fault I ordered from good too go app or is it my fault that I was just wearing a plain T-shirt with some cotton shorts that I go in the store just to pick up food that I was being misjudged treated differently, but I was definitely not dressed like some transient but that s how they made me feel not the staff manager and like I said, I have it invoice recording and I can provide the phone number and time I called and him saying that there s nobody higher than the managers was somebody with that mentality and acting like that I truly do believe that there s nobody bigger than him that s what he thinks . definitely want you to be aware of who you have working for you because if you act this way towards me, it s gonna happen again and have seen him be rude with the staff because they had to make dishes from scratch so I spent time in there and I seen how you treat them all. although he s in a management position, he doesn t have the right to treat his staff like that as I was in there I was counting my blessings. I don t work in the place like that. I asked please for an investigation and for me to be contact if I m no longer contacted within a week I will post the conversation over the phone saying no one higher than the managers and a picture of your storefront and put it on social media that leaves me no choice but to do that, if I am not contacted . I asked for you to please investigate this and check the cameras. Nobody should feel that they re gonna be endangered or assaulted by an employee management and any type of restaurant that s disgusting that s inhumane wrong and any business allowing that should be shut down. please contact me if you need any more additional information or front to front with this manager I will have a sit down, face-to-face with corporate and this manager with no problem because I have no reason to lie

I bought the food from an app which gives a discount. When I went to pick up my food, I asked them for utensils and napkins, and the man who helped me told me Im a very degrading voice and gestures, that they did not provided utensils or anything like that for that type of food. (I got spaghetti and a cold pasta) and told me to use the back door to leave instead of the front where I walk in. He made me feel so low and unwelcome. I will not be going back to dime or order from there with that type of service. So disappointing

Have ordered pizza in the past, mostly good. We decided to try the Wednesday night special which was Lasagna. Must say we are very happy. Lasagna is very good. Salad and bread very good too. Absolutely horrendous service. I called in, the lady said she couldn t hear me, I called back and she said the same thing. Then proceeded to get her boss on who heard just fine. Then I was delivered a side of meatballs after order a meatball sub/sandwich. When I called back they asked me to pay for the sandwich instead of comping that part of our order. Shameful your service matches your food. Both are garbage.

I love their Wednesdays family meal offer. Unbeatable price and their marinara sauce is really amazing. My daughters love their pizza, great fettuccine Alfredo, good lasagna, pretty much everything that Ive had here is really good. Even the service is great as everyone has been so friendly. Its hard to find good Italian in Orange County but I would definitely recommend this place!

Incredible food! Used to come here all the time when i lived in Tustin and now i come everytime Im in town. The creme sodas are so favorable! We ordered the pepperoni pizza and shrimp carbonara both so delicious! Plenty to take home! The food is always so delicious, the service is always so great they are always friendly and attentive! I highly recommend this place it never disappoints!

It was amazing food, amazing customer service, we tried the pizza, Alfredo, appetizers, and salads. Everything was so good. They need to open more locations in California. If you like Italian food you have to come to this restaurant, I recommend the pasta trio, delicious pizzas, the sangria is delicious and if you like beer they have a great variety, friendly staff, affordable prices, very clean place, definitely highly recommended

Salad was turning. Brownish-redish corners slightly slimey. Didnt want to risk eating it. Pizza was really average. The pasta was really good though. The family meal was a good price but the delivery fees were kinda alot. I dunno that I would get from here again.

We ordered the meatball beef lasagna. It tasted okay. Wished they gave me some chili flakes and parmesan cheese with my order. Overall it was a good deal, if you spend 15 dollars, you get to choose a free mason jar lemonades or dessert. The lemonade was nice and refreshing on this hot day.

Went here after a trip to Disneyland. It was a random pick and we were skeptical at first but everything was so amazing. We got the medium 7 layer pizza (6 slices) and the taste of Italy (lasagna, fettucine alfredo, cheese ravioli) for 3 adults and 2 kids (and we took home leftover pizza). The fettuccine is to die for, the lasagna is the best Ive had, and the cheese ravioli was surprisingly a hit. The pizza was also amazing and with prices like these near Disneyland, it cannot be beat. Its a must try while in the area.

I cannot express how much we loved this place! Friendly from the second you walk in! They were quick to seat us and our awesome waiter Jesus had drink out with in seconds! Food was AMAZING! (So good we ordered extra to take with us to eat the next day) it was also my birthday and they took the time to sing and had complimentary ice cream! We will be back on every Disney trip we take!

Order family bundle for 4 #2. I have to say that the garden salad has been the best salad I have had! Yes it was basic but was so fresh like it was chopped as I ordered it. And the homemade dressings were delicious. Everything was great pizza very flavorful. Coming from Arizona you get alot for the $$ we were shocked. I ordered 2, ($26), & received meat lasagna. It had 2 layers of pasta, minimal cheese, no meat to be found, and tasted like it was made with canned Ragu with 2 cups of extra sugar. In lieu of salad or bread, each came with 2 boxes of, wait for it, MASHED POTATOES!!! (*Not on their me u). It looked like it was made to appear like you were getting a great deal, but made with half the ingredients. The staff were great, but the food ended up being wasted.

Cozy restaurant with excellent service and food! Ordered mozzarella cheese sticks, garlic knots, fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, creamy chipotle penne pasta with shrimp, mushrooms & onions, and Parmesan chicken & eggplant with meat sauce and penne pasta. My wife and I ordered from this restaurant on Uber Eats, where its listed as The Pasta Kitchen. Their Fettucine Alfredo was probably some of the worst pasta Ive ever had the displeasure of eating. It was severely overcooked to the point where Al Dente was just a distant memory, and even American tastes would consider it too soft. The pasta had very obviously been cooked earlier and reheated in a microwave, as there were parts of it that were very hot, while other parts were cold yet cooked. They were running a buy one get one free deal on the fettucine, which probably should have served as a warning. Even at half price, I feel like we got ripped off. My wife got the baked Ziti with meatballs, which fared a bit better. Still overcooked, but at least there was some bite left in it. The sauces were pretty good, even if the Alfredo seems like its probably a jar sauce, but its ruined by the non-home-made, overcooked pasta. I wont be ordering from here again.

Food is decently good. Expect more bold of the flavor. I decided to give it a try while I was in OC area. I live in San Bernardino area. I ordered it frm the too good to go app. Not knowing what family meal we will get. They gave us spaghetti and ckn fingers. Spaghetti again flavor can be more bold. Had to add my own touch once I got home. Chicken finger is delish tho. The place decor.. with I had taken pic of the place but I didnt. Staff are friendly

The to-go experience, had been pathetic. Staff attitudes ranged from grumpy to belligerent, indifferent, and absent-minded, not even giving a care to missing items. Often noticed that this joint was sparsely occupied, surprisingly with all the hits and misses, mostly misses, still existed; or perhaps it was just hanging on by a thread, relying on life support!

Really nice place. The food is good and the portions are generous. The service and staff are very friendly and attentive. Been here several times and always leave feeling full and satisfied. The menu has many options and the restaurant itself is very clean with a nice old fashioned decor. Every time Ive been there the parking is always plentiful and available. Carolinas is my fiances and my favorite date night restaurant! The food is amazing, so flavorful and tastes homemade! The serving sizes are huge too! We always end up taking some of our food home. I would avoid this place if you like fresh ingredients. Sauce was bland and overly sugared. The sauce was also so thin to the point where you could taste nothing but stale noodles. My only question was how a mom and pop restaurant with decent reviews continue with product like this. I could have bought dried noodles and a jar of Ragu for less than half the price and had a better put together meal. This is Italian food for those who have never enjoyed a home-cooked Italian meal from scratch. At least it wasnt chef boy-ar-dee.

I came in with my 17 year old daughter. We followed another couple and were seated at the same time. The other couple were immediately served, getting drink and food orders. Drinks delivered. We were still sitting waiting for someone to talk to us. They were a bit busy. But I felt like they ignored us. I could be wrong, but it felt that way.

Creamy chipotle pasta is great. It has a specific flavor that I miss from another spicy pasta I ve had a long time ago it reminds me of that one. Portion size is very big and even if hungry can easily save half for another meal. Came with a fresh loaf of focaccia as well and smelled great in the car on the way back. Saw that some people gave this place bad reviews but is a great spot to grab some Eye-talian fare from first time coming here

Hadnt been here in over 25 years. Was excited to come in for the Family special they were advertising on the menu sent to us in the mail. Only to be told the family special is for take out only, yet no where on the mailer does it state that. Its literally a menu sent by mail. We decided to stay and order separate items anyway. Fresh bread is delish. Meatball sandwich was ehh, my dad liked his, but my 10 year old said hed never eat there again. My dish was supposed to be eggplant and chicken parm with a pink sauce rigatoni. The pink sauce was great, but the eggplant was rancid and rotten. I was afraid to eat the parm after that. The bite I did take was very bland and dry. Literally the worst bite of food Ive ever put in my mouth, I had to spit it out and it took hours to get rid of that disgusting taste. Wanted to like the place because I remember it being the go to place way back in the days. Service was good considering there were 2 people working the entire front of house, they still managed and were very friendly. Love the ambiance. But I doubt we will return here if Im being honest. The rotten eggplant was a deal breaker for me.

I normally love this restaurant and their food. This time, however, the food was not great at all. The pizza before was great. Last night, the pizza was mediocre. They changed cheese or something because it didnt entirely melt. When the pizza was cold, the cheese was like little curds. It was not the same as Ive had before. Even the Fettuccine Alfredo seemed different. Im not sure if Ill go back or not. Especially considering I spent over $40 for my sons 26th birthday dinner.

Service was good, the bread they bring you before the meal is delicious and their Italian dressing for the salads is tasty but damn was I disappointed with the eggplant Parmesan. It came with a cream sauce and mushroom, two things I cant eat. It also came with penne pasta which I think is not the best choice to pair it with.
