This has been my Go-To for Mexican food for more than 15 years. My all time favorite is the Carne Asada, followed by their Carnetas Taco, but I have several other favorites as well. If in doubt, ask the staff, they are all friendly and usually can answer any question about the food.

My gf & I came here because we heard that they have nachos with nacho cheese sauce. Ive been trying to find a spot that makes old school Super Nachos and currently have still not found. The nachos here have to be the worst I have ever eaten. The pastor was gross ( I dont think Ive ever described al pastor that way), they use some cheese sauce that resembles a queso sauce at best and is still pretty awful. It was cold and gritty. They charged for jalapenos and gave us two little slices and bunch of carrots, double charged for ½ pastor ½ asada, and when I asked for hot sauce they gave me salsa. (There is a huge difference between the two. If you dont know, you should be working somewhere else.) All in all, everything was just bad. Will not be coming here. I would have been better off going to Taco Bell down the street.

So, we were traveling for work and wanted authentic Mexican food near Garden Grove. I searched and read reviews, and we found Sabrosos. It is in a strip mall and hard to find, but when we called the hostess came out and waived us down. It took a while to turn around and find parking, and she called my number back to make sure we could find it ok. Excellent customer service, warm and welcoming- and some amazing food and margaritas! Definite will come back again when in town!

Ive been here a few times and the food always consistent and fresh and its very delicious. There habanero salsa to top it off with has some kick but hints of lime and its delicious. I ordered there carne asada plate and it didnt disappoint at all . It arrived in a cast iron skillet just sizzling and ready to be devoured. A side of fresh beans and guacamole and corn or flour tortillas served fresh. This place has been featured on television and rightfully so its family run and its always fresh.

Found Sabroso! a few years back when visiting the Anaheim area. Since then, every time we visit the area we make sure to stop by for some of the best food we ve ever had. Everything is delicious from the burritos, to the fajitas, to the tacos and the chips and salsa. Everything tastes fresh and the red and green sauce on the wet burrito is simply amazing. The service is top notch and we always are well taken care of. Can t wait to be back in the area to visit again.

Very low quality food, takes forever to prepare and bring you the food, and expensive. Not worth the price. I ordered a torta of milanesa, which I expected was of beef as most restaurants serves this, turns out it was chicken. Asian guy seems to be the manager of this place, and he doesnt actually know what authentic Mexican food is.. Doesnt know how to take orders either, he put jalapeños in both of our tortas when we said none. Will not be returning.

We came to Disneyland from San Diego and we wanted some good Mexican food. We saw that this place had good reviews and let me tell you, the good reviews were not wrong!! We were greeted by a nice and friendly waitress, my wife ordered the green shrimp enchiladas and I ordered the carne asada wet burrito. The plates looked amazing when they were brought to our table. I took one bite of my burrito and was instantly hit with some of the best flavors Ive ever tasted in a burrito. On top of that the meat was so tender and melted in you mouth. Honestly this is one of the best burritos Ive tasted in my 40 years of eating burritos. You can tell that they make everything fresh. Now onto the green shrimp enchiladas, my wife told me that they were so good. I took a bite of hers, since she couldnt eat them all and OMG they were whole shimp not pieces of shrimp like other places do. The green sauce, cheese and shrimp were very very good. This place makes some of the best Mexican food. If you are in the area check them out.

We are Food Network fans and we re surprised to see Guy Fieri and his DDD squad had been here. Great sign!!! Sam S. was a cut above when it came to service. He was infinitely familiar with the menu and made outstanding recommendations. Sam gave us an exceptionally awesome extra warm spicy salsa, as well as, regular and spicy - all delicious with fresh chips. Very authentic generous portions. The chile verde was very tasty, their delicious soups arrive in enormous bowls and their peruano beans are magic. Imagine your neighbor s abuela (grandma) is cooking; just an abundance of great comfort food clearly cooked with love.

We came here during our trip to Disneyland. I saw the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives episode featuring Sabroso a few months prior. I ordered the California burrito, which was huge, however, it s size didn t make up for its flavor. The carne asada lacked flavor, the rice and beans were bland, and the fries were soggy. It seems as if they peaked with the show and then let the quality of the food suffer. We were a party of eight, with others ordering mole enchiladas, fajitas, and tacos. Though they offer handmade tortillas, only two are included with your meal. I really wanted this place to be as good as advertised. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. the worst dining experience at a so called Mexican food restaurant. We read the reviews and so skipped over many places to come here, and left extremely disappointed. We ordered tacos al pastor and tostadas de carnitas. Both tasted terrible! We couldnt even finish the food. Even the rice and beans tasted plain. Dont these people bother to taste test the food they cook? We were not shy in telling the staff how terrible the food tasted. They offered us a free flan. And the girl who brought it to us pretty much slid it onto our table where a lot of the syrup dripped onto our table. The whole experience was terrible. Never coming to this place again. Drive through Mexican restaurants do a better job than this place. At least this was our experience.

My wife went with the steak fajitas accompanied with rice and beans and hand made corn tortillas and mango margarita. I went a la carte to sample the menu, with two tacos, one carne asada and the other blackened shrimp both made with the hand made corn tortillas piled high with Sabroso style trimmings and crema fresca and cotija cheese. I also ordered an Al pastor sope piled high with Sabroso style trimmings and crema fresca and cotija cheese. My drink of choice was an agua fresca horchata, also made in house. All the meat was tender and delicious and generous portions. The food packed with flavor and leaving you delighted.

The service was very good, the food was nothing out of this world and very little, my husband would need 2 dishes to be satisfied, the wait for a chicken broth and a fish fillet was 33 minutes

WOW! The food is UNBELIEVABLY good! I don t think I ever ate Mexican food this good! Even the kids meals (that are usually bland) tasted amazing. And even though we were full we couldn t stop eating it. I had shrimp in butter garlic sauce- ate everything off of my plate. Very generous portion. Husband had their signature pork chile verde and loved it. Kids had just regular bean and cheese burritos and one cheese quesadilla. And they were unbelievable! The waitress later told us that refried beans are prepared with onions and garlic and then blended. We eat Mexican food all the time but I never tasted anything like this! Even their drinks are great. Those margaritas will get ya. Lol. The last thing I am going to add- if you are visiting Disneyland (like we did) do yourself a favor and skip the ridiculous lines and horrible restaurant food. Instead come here. Only 7 mins away from Disney hotels. It will be THE best meal you ever had.

We are from out of state. We found this place while driving back from Disney parks and wow was I blown away! The food tasted amazing! I was skeptical because of the location but dont let that stop you from coming in! Highly recommend giving this place a try if youre in the area! The staff were very friendly! Loved the music! My kids loved the food as well! If I could give more stars I would! Kid-friendliness: They have good options available for kids

Very expensive, We asked for Bistek Ranchero, and they brought Carne Asada. I asked for mole with chicken meat, and the chicken was cold. The next day, I had a little stomachache. Food : 2/5

Delicious food and drinks! I had the carne asada tacos and my friend had the shrimp tacos, and both were AMAZING! A little pricey, but I think its worth it for the quality.
