The manager sat us and took our order, Food on the floor. I had to ask for the seat to be clean / wipe down and dry off. The food came out WRONG! The food suck. The food was nasty, pancakes were cold, but the plate was hot. Bacon looks like it was going to be good but tasty like dry jerky. Potatoes were cold with no seasoning. Apple juice was watery. They know one here that care. The bill ws $65. Why did they open this place. I know there's sales is low. Food suck.

I ordered to go from here before, and they made me wait 15 minutes longer than my estimated pickup time and I had an item missing. I recently ordered to go from here again because its local and I had points to redeem and what was supposed to be a simple order of “strawberry cheesecake pancakes” just ended up being strawberries on some pancakes and on top of that they made me wait 10 more minutes longer than my estimated pickup time. They got me twice, but won’t be getting me a third time. I’ll take my business to Inglewood instead. At least they know how to make my order correct and timely.

Sadly this store should be called the International House of Disappointment.

The staff and patrons looked equally despondent/desperate. We could have perhaps seen similar sentiments at the Hustler Casino Slot machines across the street. The staff were friendly and apologetic but take out orders seem to take priority over in restaurant patrons.

Our table waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken, 40 minutes for water and an hour 20 for all of our food to be served.

None of the food was hot, tepid at best and one plate came 20 minutes after the first three. Several tables left prior to getting food.

We asked for water without ice ( we got ice after waiting 40 minutes), asked for lemon wedges (they never materialized) and one plate was almost completely wrong. Another plate we ordered extra crispy has browns, almost no brown was detected. At that point we were delighted we might soon go home.

The Nashville Chicken and waffles was salty.

They seemed short staffed, apparently someone quit that night just before we came in, however staff said nights were "always like this."

The place didn't smell of food at all, for a time no food came out at all (30 minutes+). It mostly smelled like cold old mop water.

The facilities are relatively up to date and appeared clean. The lights were very bright.

Food is cookee nicely. (Sirloin tips) ordered it medium. Other food is cooked properly. Time receiving the food is a little late as the place is full. We have to wait 20 mins to get in. Servers are a little lacking in man power at that time but we still did not wait that long

If you want a truly entertaining and good meal, visit before noon and sit at the counter. The mgr is similar to a symphony conductor as he directs the flow of the food and ensures every order is prepared to perfection. Best time I've had in years and I have a better understanding of the pressures these workers face

Everything was tasty! All of our orders were hot and delicious, very satisfying. The service was very good, looked like they could’ve used one more server, but the staff that were as there did a very good job. The interior is a casual coffee chop with a trendy look. This is a spot we will be frequenting and looking for more tasty dishes. There’s plenty of parking in the huge strip mall parking lot

The wait time for food was a bit long but it looked like they were short staffed and a few groups of 5 people came in. So the wait was understandable. Food still came out nice and hot and correct we had no issues with the orders. Definitely will stop by again.

We went to the beach and stopped by to eat here, our waitress was great super friendly. The food was lacking so much, the fries were super greasy and my hamburger was burnt. The waitress noticed and felt sorry she went and exchanged them. I know it wasn t her fault but the cooks.

My daughter picked this IHOP for her lunch after a birthday jump at SkyZone. We (seven) were greeted and seated immediately. Many empty tables but I figured maybe we were in between rushes .. Our waiter greeted us and dropped off many packs of plastic fork/knife/ napkins. He apologized and said metal ones weren t available at the time. I thought it weird because the only time I get plastic utensils is when my two year old is eating with us. I asked him to at least get me silverware since I thought maybe the kids wouldn t mind the plastic. (I had a group of six 13 year olds with me.)He assured me it was OK and took them all back. He took our order and went off. Our drinks came out. I never got my soft drink or water. At that point I just drank my daughter s drink since she didn t want it. Another person started bringing the food out when ready. He left plates that we didn t recognize but told me that he d drop the plates and send me the waiter right away. In total we received two extra breakfasts and one appetizer platter that we didn t order. I asked that they be removed since I didn t feel right keeping food that may belong elsewhere. We were left staring at our plates without silverware. I watched as another waiter gave out actual silverware to other tables and eventually got to us. Had metal utensils in a bin on a shelf along with the condiment bottles all along. My steak was soggy and there really was no care on the presentation of my food. My mashed potatoes looked like they were just flung out over my meat juice, or green bean juice . I tried to make the best of it but one of the kids said it was the worst service they d ever received. I thought it but didn t say it! Refills were never offered and the kids had to wait and ask repeatedly once they were able to catch the waiter. To me this kind of service really did deserve no tip, but I still did as a courtesy. At the end I stood there for a long time trying to pay at the register while watching the person at the register walk back and forth acting busy but not really doing anything. I considered just leaving to see if they d even notice. That s when it all made sense .. just like me, many customers probably ate there once and vowed never to return. I ate, I tipped, I paid, but my experience at this specific IHOP was not outstanding and stood slightly below mediocre. Suggestions: train waiters better, food presentation goes a long way, don t replace silverware for plastic, and be observant of the customers and their needs. I can only speak to my experience and hope that management pays attention to the reviews and makes changes that can improve this business.

Its an IHOP. It has the same basic breakfast food and follows the same menu as others. The quality is okay and they deliver what Ive come to expect. Ive had great servers who are attentive, friendly, and do their best. They did have a rocky start, but are working hard to find their rhythm.

Service is very slow paid $71 for unhappiness. The food I had was a bacon lettuce tomato seven grain came with little to no mayonnaise no pickles I asked for mayonnaise and I asked for pickles. My mother had a pancake with chicken wings on the side, it came with chicken strips was so hard. You can scratch the paint off the wall with them, everyone was complaining about the meals paid the $71 but I would not go back there again and used to be carols. They had a better crowd and everything plus I was looking at this girl and boy. I did not like the way he was acting kind of freakish with the little girl, and the grown woman did not say nothing. This is a blackand black lady she did not say nothing. Nothing at all. She just sat there like she was invisible and they was a perfect little angels and that was wrong. She should ve told him to sit down and act like you have some sense but not.

Great service! I always go for breakfast, I got the biscuit and gravy which was delicious then I got the biscuit breakfast sandwich a side of chocolate chip pancakes are always my go to. The bathrooms are very clean as well and if you go during the week its quick service. Weekends during breakfast they get very busy so be prepared to wait a little

The food was not good. The pancakes came out soggy and everything else came out cold. The server also had a terrible attitude. It took us 30 min to get drinks, another 45 to get out food. And we waited another 30 to get our check. Would not recommend, go to Norms instead.

Dont order ubereats here. They take 20 plus minutes for 1 sandwich and fries. They are really slow at bringing your delivery out when the restaurant isnt even that busy and overpriced for average-mediocre food. Instead, I recommend going to a Dennys, get pancakes for cheap and a whole meal on your bday free!

Corporate needs to get in here and train properly. Staff needs to split tips so they can help each other. Everyone gets their food at different times, Food is cold, steak is raw. Manager talking to people when he should be helping take orders and make sure everything is actually running smoothly. I got up to have my order taken I got up to ask for refills I got up to ask for my check. This is second visit, my first i asked to speak to the manager and gave them feedback, hoping this visit will be different and it was the same if not worse.

Ordered Colorado omelette which is extremely dry. The eggs and meat are all overcooked. Only a few pieces of shredded beef . The server gave me two syrups and 2 jelly s. I do not have pancakes or toast but nothing for the hash browns or this dry omelette. No ketchup, no salsa.

This location used to be a Carrows - I miss those days. The food is decent. I can make better pancakes at home... But their breakfast sandwiches are enormous and quite nice. I ate waaaaay too much here. The ambiance is slightly worse than your average IHOP. Poor acoustics means you can hear the kitchen and other patrons much more loudly than the person sitting right in front of you. They need to add some sort of sound dampening material throughout the place. Service wasnt too great unfortunately. Its diner style with waiters going around serving tables, but they spend most of their time staring at a little TV where everyones order is tracked. They vary rarely leave that little spot. This makes it very hard to get anyones attention. Maybe tablets would be better? Also, why does IHOP not serve mocha? All breakfast spots should have specialty coffees.

Dont waste your time with this IHOP location. The service here is terrible. Even worse, the people who work there dont care. You can see it in their faces. I sat down at the counter and nobody greeted me or handed me a menu. I had to wait a very long time and still nobody did anything. Finally I asked a woman behind the counter if she was my server and she said no. Nothing else. Finally I got a hold of my server, who gave me a menu. But she never came back to take my order. I got tired of waiting and walked out. I wanted to love this location because it is close to me and I generally like IHOP. But this location sucks.

Me and my girlfriend went here to eat after our fun Valentine s Day outing the 2 young ladies that worked there around 12am are very rude!!! We was seated she walked off came back 10 min later to wipe the table off not dry it after so the table was soaked, we still waited for her to came and take order 30 min pass they laughing joking so i purposely look at them still nobody took my order At this time of the night we noticed we were the only black couple in everyone else was hispanic and asian after not getting type of customer service and it wasnt busy at all they would take orders of everyone around us but didnt recognize us not 1 time so we got up and left the 2 lady one of her voice sounded like it was going out from parting laughed im need file complaints but dont know how this is not the first time i experienced this type of treatment it happened when they first opened as well only difference was we got to order but waitress never returned waited 20 min for bill and she had attitude and was rushing my order i complained but nothing happened this service is definitely unacceptable

I was very disappointed with the service and the food. We ordered and food was cold and I asked for over easy medium and they were hard. We could not get our waitress to come to our table so had to ask another waitress. Every time we asked for something waited 10-15 minutes and they were not busy. I wanted to love this place its close to my house 6 minutes away. The service was deplorable here. A random server came to my table to leave us a drink, then spills it doesnt bother to clean it up because she realizes she was on the wrong table. Then my server comes up and ask, They seated you in a dirty table? I had to ask for coffee creamer and straws 3 different times from 3 different servers. I almost got them myself, but I am not a rude person. By the time I got my creamer and straws, it was almost time to leave. The food took forever to come out. In the middle of eating breakfast a server interrupts our meal and gives us an extra chair that we do not need. But the service was deplorable. I most definitely never come back, I rather commute elsewhere.

The general staff can be pretty rude, off putting and lazy. But the Management is Amazing, it s clear that they care about the place, they make it look nice! The food is some of the worst breakfast I ve had in a while, Flavorless and undercooked. Eggs were runny when supposed to be scrambled, cheese not melted and hash browns raw on the inside. We love the remodel IHOP did from the Carrows that was there for years. They were packed! I didnt even think anyone else knew about them. We were sat at a table right away. Our food server, Lupe, was awesome! She was busy, but was very attentative to us. I had ordered extra crispy bacon, but didnt get it. I had it on my fork when I called her over. She shook her head and said, Ill get them to redo that for you. And brought me the extra crispy bacon. Wow! Considering how busy she was, she remembered my order and got it fixed without me even needing to say a word. We definitely typed her 20%+!!! The food was really good, too. Good location for an IHOP. Gardena needed it. Location is good. Plenty of parking. I go here once a week at least since Im always in Gardena

We ordered Tbone steak fries and mashed potato for take out. I told this server name Janella to separate the fries and mashed potato she said yes they separate it. When we got the order, they mixed the fries and mashed potato and the mashed potato looks like clam chower. Imagine, the fries swim to the suppose to be mashed potato. I asked her if thats how mashed potato looks like, she said Yes so I caller the manager and he said No. This server never said sorry and she looks like she dnt care at all. We were about to leave and forget about the mashed potato but hey its not free like we dnt get it by free why cant we get the food that we paid for.Do we ever go back to this place?? Maybe maybe not. Other server was attentive, nice and friendly, this Janella is SARCASTIC. #IHOPGardena

Great place, very clean! I brought my non-english speaking immigrant parents here, and Fabi was suuper nice, attentive, and patient with us, even when we could see she was very busy. Definitely made our day! Plus the food was good as always!

Came with the fam on Sunday morning during breakfast. Our poor waitress was running around all over the place with hardly any help despite the amount of employees around which was confusing. Some guy took our drink orders but didnt communicate that with our waitress so we waited a bit for our drinks. When our order was placed, we also waited quite a while for the food (which was okay really, since they were pretty busy). Understandable. When the food came out, one of the plates was wrong and we were still waiting on another one. Only half of the food was given at the table and I wanna say we had to wait another 10 minutes for all the food to be completely at the table. The food was okay. I ordered the waffle combo but for some reason, the orange juice tasted a little funky. Overall, the place and experience were just okay. It is understandable as the place just opened however, more employees need to be trained instead of idly walking around. I honestly felt super bad for our waitress who looked super stressed out. She needed help!

I would have given this place a zero if possible. After being seated it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Then another 40 minutes for the server to bring cold overcooked food. The pancakes were hard and the waffle was translucent. We were repeatedly told the kitchen was backed up. So you would think the food coming out would be hot. My omelette never came. We left without eating. Don t plan on coming back.

I ordered online. I went inside to pickup when notified order was ready. It wasnt, so I had to wait 5 minutes, ok fine. Got my order home, not even 5 minutes away, and all the food was cold. The bacon was undercooked and over easy eggs were also undercooked.
