I can't believe I've been a mile away from Shilla for almost 18 years amd just tried it today! Everything was amazing!! So glad we finally tried it! Loved the quality meats and all the sides. It's not an AYCE place so be prepared to spend some $$$$. We got the premium combo! So good!

I got sick after eating at your restaurant tonight. The marinated beef dish made me feel ill immediately. It was over-seasoned to mask old, freezer-burned beef. I had to run to the bathroom to vomit right after eating it. Our server, who was barely present throughout the meal, tried to blame my condition on something unrelated before I even got to the restaurant. I felt fine until I ate that dish. My body instantly rejected the food. We were forced to leave in the middle of our Korean BBQ service because I was so unwell. The worst part was the attitude of the server, and possibly the owner, acting like it wasn t the food. Even without the food poisoning, the meat quality was poor and not as advertised. I m genuinely shocked at how you re still in business.

Lunch cold noodle rib combo for two people for $100 The problem is that the cold noodles are not very good, the amount of ribs is small, and the side dishes are not tasty. Dont you have to charge that kind of price for something good? I went there to see if it was good because I was charged a lot, but it wasnt as good as other Korean restaurants around me.

This place was not it more overpriced than other KBBQ restaurants and unfortunately, the service was pretty bad. We ordered a $130 combo for a group of three. We came in knowing we wanted good quality KBBQ but the meat was okay and servers never came to check up. I pretty much cooked the meat and even had to ask the server to lower the fire or our meats were gonna get burnt. The combo comes with kimchi fried rice at the end and we barely got any rice it was just straight up kimchi as the server was cooking it on the stove lol. Pretty disappointing.

Perfect place for delicious korean food and amazing friendly service! We came to celebrate my stepdads birthday, and the whole experience was perfect. Weve been coming here for years, and the food is always great. My mom and I love mulnaengmyeon (cold noodles), and my stepdads go-to is bulgogi (kbbq beef). Our server Jessica was very sweet and attentive, and Shane was very kind and helpful as well. They both sang happy birthday with us (bilingual performance!) and brought cake. Definitely gotta come here for your birthday. And lunch. And dinner. Every day. Love this place!

Very good service. The server was very courteous and polite, food is good quality and would recommend the pork belly. Food does not stick to the cooking pan too which is something that is refreshing to happen. I would recommend for dates, gatherings, and parties.

First time being there and we it. VERY friendly and lovely family owned restaurants I love that they have an couples and group menu for one price. They cook the meat in front... and yes the have different selection of meat and huge varieties of sides that come with it. Everything fresh and hot. This will be me and my fiance go to spot for date night. We never had grilled and grilled before. It was great.

We, including our granddaughter Milani, dined at a place we would always pass by but had never tried before. Shilla Korean BBQ in Gardena is excellent and has been there since 1991. We had the BP-B combo which included Mugi Fuji pork belly, Mugi Fuji fresh pork collar, and Prime marinated Kalbi beef. This includes an assortment of the sides you see on the table, corn and cheese, steamed rice, two types of Kim chee, tofu paste soup, and steamed scrambled eggs (fluffy like a pillow). I highly recommend this place!

Went last night and the server was rude, I came in about 2.5hrs before closing and it seemed like they didnt want to serve us, wanted us to hurry and eat...we only got 1 round of meat and little to no table service. Even after that she( our server) asked for a tip...paid $110 for 2 people. Never again.

Pretty good bbq and sides as well - little disappointed in the service - couldve been a bit more attentive - had to ask a few times for items and seemed to be a slow day at lunch. Just a bit dated - probably could use some updating. Bathrooms seem to get neglected ... Will definitely go back.

The food is fantastic. Its more of a family style or for couples to enjoy a meal. The dining area has a very cozy atmosphere, but at the same time its always buzzing with people telling you everyone is having a good time. The employees who attend to you will ask if its your first time or repeat customer, which they want to make sure you are not struggling with what you order and how your table setup is at best to your advantage. Lets say the table I had was a little small and I accidentally ordered a lot. Be advised that parking is very limited inside the enclosed parking lot. If no parking, unfortunately you have to park a little farther away but worth the wait. Also, book a reservation because my first visit was caught with a lot of restaurant traffic. Parking: Please get to the restaurant early to find a space. Spaces are limited versus capacity of restaurant.

Family of 3 ordered a small combo bbq with 2 bottles of beer. We expect to pay around $150.00. The server repeated in front of us, yes, a small combo bbq. After chewing the toughest beef weve ever tasted, the restaurant charged over $200.00. When we call the same server to confirm the amount, she said You order a large combo bbq !!!. There wasnt the way to verify a small from large combo at the table. Hmmmm.. Have I seen this drama before?? Not likely to go back.

Korean BBQ is supposed to be good and inexpensive. We had an incredible bill of 230$ per couple without alcohol. We got completely ripped off. Beef was not good, pork was ok, shrimp were good. Service was pushy and in a hurry. The place was so cold that we had to keep the jackets. Yet we smelled like food a lot. Was it worth the price? Not at all. Will I go back? Never!

Korean barbecue dinner, sirloin grilled with rosemary butter is delicious and the portion of brisket is generous. I was most satisfied with the pork belly, haha. I highly recommend the last cold noodles here. Both watercress and nonnaeng are delicious. My kids are asking me to come here again. lol

The pork belly is really good. I ate it a lot with bean sprouts and kimchi, but when I eat it with seasoned octopus, it tastes fantastic. The brisket and sirloin were also delicious. Thank you for the rice too,, we ate it with cold noodles and bibim cold noodles at the end, but since we ate it with seasoned ribs at the end, it goes well with cold noodles and rib cold noodles!! It was the best. The amount of pork belly is large enough to feed 4 people, and the staff are friendly. It feels like a multi-course meal.

I think I found a really good restaurant. We ordered beef brisket, sirloin steak, and pork belly, all three were delicious, but among them, pork belly was really good. And after eating all the meat, they also stir-fried rice on an iron plate, which was fantastic. It was good value for money for 2 people. I will visit again with my family next time. The people who work were also very kind.

There are usually meat restaurants there, but this restaurant offers delicious meals such as cold noodles, soybean paste stew, and fried rice after eating meat. I am very satisfied for the price. Personally, I m crazy about cold noodles. Haha.

NEVER WILL I VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN. $763 for 8 people!!!! We didn t get the service we would have liked! They were very surprised when we asked for rice for all of us, potatoe salad and hot sauce! They would ask us again for all of you ?! All surprised. What do they expect when they give one small scoop for 8 people?!? They took forever to give us the food, and the sides. The service was not great and mandatory service charge of 18%. The servers attitude was terrible. They would give us water half filled and be upset when we would ask for more. Never visiting again and not worth the price!!!

It was easy to get seated on a Friday afternoon (5pm) for a party of 4 people. Our waitress was very professional and attentive. The food was amazing, we got the beef combo and did not regret it. The meat was tender and flavorful and the bulgogi which was also delicious. Overall very good and I would recommend to any BBQ fan.

What I didnt like was the fact that it was only 2 of us and after a almost $300 bill they tried to force us to give them a tip and even had the audacity to follow us to the parking lot. I was going to leave a tip. But the way the lady asked was uncalled for. I hope the owner reads this and does something about it. Now I see why the place was empty.

Don t come to this restaurant! It is not all you can eat the staff get mad when you ask for rice paper! They wanted to charge me $4 just to get more rice paper. I paid $85 for 3 pieces of meat and the portions are super small. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I had a $130 combo (pork belly, pork neck, sirloin, marinated pork belly), but the quality of the meat was not good and the rice cake that came out as a side dish was hard as if it had been made yesterday. The rice cake is not that much, but it would be nice if they paid more attention to the side dishes that would be served to customers who paid $130. . There are 3 short pieces of pork belly, the pork neck is frozen meat, the sirloin is thin, and the marinated pork belly has no flavor. The last time I had the $100 combo (pork), the portion was so generous that I remembered it and came back. Ah... Im not really deceiving the customer... I understand that the prices have skyrocketed due to inflation... but from the customers point of view, its 2 people. If you paid $130 for meat, I wish they would have paid attention to the quality.. But I dont think Ill ever go again..

Considering the price to quality ratio, this is one of my least liked kbbq Ive been to. The food wasnt horrible, its actually better than many AYCE kbbq places, but the price didnt make it worth it. (I only tried the beef selections) The side dishes on the other hand - missing a lot of my favorites, and many were bland. The dining area is nice and spacious. Even if the place was packed, it wouldnt seem as crowded as other places. Probably the and only good thing about this place. Service was way under staffed. Considering theres so many other choices for kbbq in the area, I would be hard pressed to choose this place to eat again. Maybe some of the other meats would be better.... I dont think Ill ever find out. Parking: Private lot with 20-30 spaces. Seems to be enough for the whole restaurant.

Good service but portion is ridiculously small for its price. I mean really small. This was not Kobe or Wagyu, it was just pork. This was the $100 pork combo with few thin slices on the grill already. Two of us weren t even half full I d just go somewhere else for this price tbh. You can get this amount meat & quality for around $10 from Hmart. Never going back.

Two people ate Shilla Combo A. The amount seems to be large enough. Its been a while since Ive had thin pork belly, so its delicious, and the pork belly is also savory. I think I need to change the cooking plate for beef a little. And it doesnt seem a little healthy to cook fried rice in a burnt pot lid. It needs some improvement.

I went to eat alone at lunch, and the servers were very indifferent to the customers. The order was received late and the food did not come to the table even once. As I finished eating, the bill was brought to me so quickly... I dont like barbecue or other single items. (Naengmyeon is really recommended)

This is a delicious Korean restaurant that I happened to visit. Delicious and friendly. The service is also very good. I had bibimbap and it was really delicious. The sesame oil was a little lacking. I hope you add more next time.

As far as Korean food goes, this is the golden standard. I have been coming to Shilla for decades. I regret to say the menu has americanized a bit but it is still very good. I miss the old bbqs and the noodles you would cook in the grease trap.
