Hands down this is the best sandwich shop in town. Not only do you feel like you actually got some high quality meat on your sandwich, but the service is outstanding. This place single-handedly ended my search for an amazing sandwich in the South Bay LA area. Step aside Sandwich Blvd, step aside Giulianos, step aside Busy Bee, etc etc. Located in an unsuspecting lot shared with a liquor store and across from a truck lot, youll find red tents that tout the Boars Head name. Inside, youll find the best damn sandwiches you could have. First things first - the customer service is amazing. I was welcomed by a friendly man behind the counter; I told him I was in search of the best sandwich in the area and he confidently said this would be it. The menu is quite extensive; to order, you need to pick up a laminated menu and mark what you want with a marker. They allow for a plethora of customizations, which will allow you to make your own idea of the perfect sandwich. I went for the Pops Italian, with no modifications, to get an idea of how they stack it up. I grabbed myself a bag of Tims Jalapeno chips and a Snapple and sat down as I waited for the sandwich. Eventually, the man (I really should have asked for his name, but Ill catch it next time) came to me and handed the sandwich himself. Enjoy, he said. The eyes and the phone ate first; the sandwich looked massive and juicy, so I already knew it was the real deal. The first bite was an explosion of flavor. The avocado, the rye bread, the bacon, and all the other things stuffed inside came together in harmony. I reluctantly traded the other half of my sandwich to my friend in exchange for their half of the Slammin Italian. That sandwich was amazing too, although I think Im already sold on Pops. In my opinion, the Slammin Italian was a tad too heavy on the oil, whereas the Pops felt cleaner and more refreshing. Be warned that this place is closed on Sundays; you have to catch them every other day, before 6PM. Ill be coming back VERY soon to try the rest of the menu. Cheers!

Ive been having lunch here ever since I tried the Blazin Cajun. The way you order is very easy. You grab a menu and a dry erase marker, then you check off what you want! You hand the menu to the auntie behind the counter, you wait around five minutes, if you are the only person there. Then, BAM you have yourself a fresh, fat, delicious sandwich. The bread is soft and amazing, and there are many different varieties. You wont see this place if you are just passing by, unfortunately. You have to know about it to enjoy it...

We ended up going here because we were in the area, my wife said she had this place at the wine festival in Gardena. Knowing me I had to try this place out I LOVE SANDWICHES!!!! Just flew in from Portland Or. Googled sandwich places and this yo-way was recommended. By far well worth the drive form LAX. Right off the 405 in a small shopping spot. Crew was very nice food beyond the cost. My family of 6 all happy smiles. Portions amazing. Kids already said we are eating here again on your way back. Vegetarian options: Much to choose from Dietary restrictions: Lots to choose from. Parking: Was busy when we pulled in from other stores and EMS truck office. No bad just be ready for full parking When we where done eating lot was empty Kid-friendliness: Small happy dining area my 6 all had a seat and comfortable Wheelchair accessibility: I did not notice. I did see an elderly man with a walker so seems ok.

Great little hole in the wall sandwich shop! Dont let the area deter you away from this place! I was visiting for the week and I looked up places to eating during my stay. Yo-Way popped up on yelp with 800+ 5 star reviews. I thought...no way could it be this good with only 5 stars. My friend lives just about less than a mile away so that was super convenient! When we arrived, we were the only ones so we got all the attention. The person behind the counter was so nice. He knew it was our first time here judging by our confused looks. Customer service is on point! You order by putting your name on the piece of paper and check off which sandwich you want. You can build your own or check off one of their own. I checked off the Blazin Cajun and my friend built her own. I just want to say that these sandwiches are soooooo fresh. The sauce, the meat, the lettuce, and even the bread. Super fresh tasting. Even my friend who built her own was in love with her sandwich. We were even greeted by the owner and he was so courteous and nice!! Love supporting local businesses. I just helped my friend find her new sandwich spot! And the sandwich shop just gained a new loyal customer!

THIS REVIEW IS DIRECTED @ AN EMPLOYEE & HER ACTIONS IN THE PARKING LOT on MONDAY January 23, 2023 (I want the owner to see it since they werent there) My wife & I pulled into the lot to shop at another store in the strip mall. Because of an accident, I sometimes need help exiting a vehicle & my wife was holding the car door so I could exit the vehicle more easily. We heard someone yell YOU BETTER NOT HIT MY CAR!!. She repeated it more than once. We were being cautious. Thats why the wife was holding our door. (I should add, her car was parked awkwardly, which is why I was concerned.) -skip forward, 15min later- As we were being helped by the proprietor at the store we had come to shop in, we heard a noise behind us & the Yo Way employee had come down to that other shop & yelled at me thru the open front door. None of us heard what she said because she ran back out & started up her own car & moved it to a location nearer to the sandwich shop. Why bother to write this? Simple. The YO WAY shop owner should be aware of how their employees are acting in the parking lot to the customers of businesses surrounding their shop. If this is the type of help they hire, g0d knows what the food tastes like. to the shop owner - respond if you see this. Id like to hear what you think.

Best sandwich shop all the way around! I found them 3 weeks ago and have been back every week since. They have really fresh sandwiches and a lot to choose from! I m hooked to say the least and the owners were so nice and seem like great people and the customer service is top notch and better than most places I ve been to. I ve had the half and half, the works salad and the western chicken and they were all so fresh and tasty! I can t wait to try something else this week! This place is a hidden treasure! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The customer service is phenomenal. The bread selection is plentiful as well as the toppings. You can make your own sandwich by choosing from the many options and toppings or you can choose from their specialty options and customize from there. The breads are so soft, too. It was our first time trying it and we decided to take a platter to a family gathering. To say the least not 1 sandwhich was left, everyone loved it! and it was all really good. Just happened to come across this Spot Sunday been living out here in Carson for about 5 years now & just noticed it was a Sandwich Spot & me being a sandwich Dude, I had to check them out, & Man was I glad !!!! the Squaw With oats was on point Chicken Breast & Turkey was Well sliced & tasted very good as well as my toppings Id highly recommend trying YO-WAY Sandwich Shop ESPECIALLY, if you Like On the spot Freshly cut & chopped veggies, great tasting dressings & Bread, beverages & any type of salads The Name Speaks for it Self LOL, You really have it (YOur WAY) & they dont rush you at all plus it took only 6 or less minutes to have two sandwiches made . A Very Nice & Friendly Staff , The gentleman I Happened to think was the owner & EMT , was Very Helpful & Always kept a real Cool vibe. Definitely will be coming back to this Spot Soon! I am a big foodie and don t give credit if not deserved, so when I tell you this is the best sandwich shop I ve been to you better believe it! Used to visit often getting the same thing ,chicken salad sandwich. Eventually I ventured out and baaaaaybee! The pastrami, sandwich! Mmm mm m! Im hooked! My teammate and I were working out of Gardena and ended up stopping here for lunch. Im not a big sandwich person but when he mentioned subway i knew i had to (quickly) find something better. Lol It was a very good sandwich and nice couple running the show. I think it s black owned for those who care. They also have above average vegan options (I m not talking a subway sandwich lol). Food was amazing! But your customer service needs some work. On Monday my mother ordered 4 subs online, 3 came out the way we intended with the exception for one. This sandwich eatery is one of my top 3 sandwich places in town I go to. The owner is super cool and make you feel like a friend. My standing order: Roast beef on top of cranberry walnut bread spinach mayonnaise honey mustard raspberry vinaigrette onions banana peppers salt and pepper jack or havarti cheese Go get a sandwich to be happy you did

Literally asked Siri, Siri what s the best sandwich place around here. and she lead me here. The owner Dave introduced himself and knew it was my first time, but was friendly explaining the process...although they were about to close in about 20 mins. He said to me get ready to try the best sandwich, which was a custom chicken sandwich on French bread with avocado, Mayo, lettuce, salt and pepper. It was so good! Thanks so much Dave! I ll be coming back and already posted it for friends and family to go!

The owner is really polite, funny, and friendly. Their Pastrami sandwich is not one of the best pastrami sandwiches but the best pastrami I have ever tried. I could feel all the freshness of the ingredients. Everyone really should try this place if they like pastrami!

Was craving a good pastrami sandwich so I search and this place was the closest. Yo Way is a small place in the corner of this hidden little shopping center. I took my first bite of my pastrami sandwich and is pack with layers of flavors. Pastrami is best quality. They put different kinds of sauces making the pastrami pop hence the name . Is just a beautiful and tasty sandwich. Will be coming back .

Yo way has the best sandwiches in town with a great selection of bread, meats and veggies. Everything is fresh and the service is friendly. i would recoment to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat. i like getting their tunas on squaw.

This owner-operated sandwich shop is great! I cant remember the name of the sandwich I had, but unaltered, it comes on a marbled rye-pump bread. Scrumptious!
