Apricot cheese croissant was great. They forgot my lavender latte - waited a very long time and when they remembered, they got my order wrong and just gave me a regular unflavoured latte.

The atmosphere and location are top notch, but the chocolate croissant is big but mostly air, dry, not buttery and the chocolate is too sweet for a more authentic subtle french taste. The house coffee is bland, worse than my instant Folger at home. We have been here since the beginning and is surprisingly underwhelmed this time. Even the outdoor table is uneven and rickety, spilling coffee. Where is the manager? The Bonaparte restaurant right across it is excellent though. Maybe the owner is distracted by the rapid expansion around town and inflation , dropping the QA ball on the older store. If anything the flagship store should maintain the exemplary standard.

Quiche is awesome. The cappuccino is not bad either. Heads up: the quiche tasted stale and I was not sure if it safe to finish it when I returned for an evening snack. Bummer. It was $13 with a low ROI. Service can be slow. However it is popular. The coffee beans are by Lavazza

I usually dont write any reviews but in this case Ive was really disappointed with the food and service that I thought I should bring it to the readers attention. I ordered Portobello Mashroom Panini sandwich with salad. The salad was only some aged lotus but the sald dressing was good and the panini bread was half burned and the mashroom was very hard to cut not to mention that the silver wear was very old. The fork teeth was crooked and the knife was an aged butter knife that wouldnt cut the sandwich nor even the lettus.

Went to meet a friend for coffee. Id never been there before and was hoping the girl could tell me more... She was not helpful just handed me a menu & that was that.. I was deceived by the rating above 4 and wanted to try. Coffee is good, pastry is average at its best but service is terrible. From the ordering to receiving your order there is no hospitality or smiling face. More than that the lady at the cashier was cocky and bossy. If you don t want to ruin your beautiful day starting from morning stay away.

Food and service here is incredible! We came to Hermosa on vacation and came here everyday for fresh delicious food made with love. Fresh juice and croissants filled with fruits and cheese were my favorite. Their sister restaurant across the street was also incredible, we were blown away by the Brussel sprouts and truffle fries!

Mushroom and ham quiche is always good. Tried the tomato basil and was surprised it was almost all cheese and not a lot of egg. Might not have that again. We love this place but the coffee is undrinkable! We ve tried many, many times and now we just eat there and go somewhere else for coffee. a little corner of France 10,000 km from home, on the Pacific! the boss being French offers us hypertrophied pastries, pastries or salads and other Americanized snacks to please the customers, but there are still some French clichés, even if they have become overweight for the American customers.. low prices, very nice little terrace on the pedestrian mall to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere and the passage of surfers or runners or even skaters! a very suitable place, no noisy crowds on the terrace, cozy, moderate prices for the area, and a perfect price/quality/location ratio for a break, or even a breakfast in the sun in the morning, like in a bistro! The quiche portions, however, are ridiculously small compared to the price and other dishes offered.

Sweet little bakery cafe just off the strand. Everything looks delicious and Im sure most is. Unfortunately not the quiche Lorraine. It was dry and 1 of the side was rock hard. After only a couple bites I have an unpleasant taste in my mouth. It is 2pm so perhaps it has been sitting since morning. In that case it should not have been served.

5he food gets three stars because the decaf coffee is not warm enough. Even when I asked them to warm it up by the time I get a little milk in its barely warm; definitely not hot. But the bran muffins are really good especially if they are warmed up. There is a good selection of muffins and treats. The atmosphere gets three stars because it looks really nice and they have a bathroom but the helpers rarely smile and I feel like Im a bit of a chore for them when i ask them to heat up my barely warm coffee and muffin.

Menus are not available anymore.. if u need sugar its a another task... Bummer. I was so excited to eat what looked like an awesome crème donut. The crème had a super fancy name which even led to the anticipation. Got home, to split the $4 donut with my wife. My half had ZERO crème. Literally Zero. My wife s had a spec. I don t think it would have covered her pinky finger nail. I should have bought the donut at Ralph s as it would have been better. Don t waste your money until they decide to actually fill their donuts.

Terrible service, an unpleasant lady who sold us more foam than coffee and it took her half an hour to make them, apart from the fact that we received bad treatment from her. DO NOT support this establishment, for it thrives off of the exploitation of its workers. The owner consistently displays a lack of integrity and the working conditions are inhumane. The owner has the funding to fly to Paris yet wont due the right thing by fixing the air conditioning so the kitchen workers can have a tolerable work environment. Owner steals the tips earned by the front of house staff. The food is constantly touched by flies. The owner shows a consistent lack of integrity. If you support this business then you are an enemy to the working class.

We bought a pain-o-chocolat and a napoleon and threw them both in the garbage. They both tasted as if they had been sitting around for a few days. The pain-o-chocolat was dense and completely dried out. The napoleon had spoiled strawberries inside. I see a lot of positive reviews, and I assume the issues may be due to slow business during COVID. I recommend keeping closer track of age of goods until business picks up.
