Tower 12 - Hermosa Beach

So here is my review of this place.

1- Decoration: 8/10 the decoration is nice.It's on the 2nd floor there's a balcony where you can see downtown Hermosa Beach.
It's a bit small but good enough for families.
I'd love the pictures of the surfers and skateboarding.

2- Ambiance: 8/10 The ambiance is very nice. There's a lot of people. There's a lot of family. It's especially good for sports games. Or just going to hang out with your friends.

3- The service: 6/10 now, on this point I was a little bit disappointed. The 1st day, the 2 girls were amazing. The waitress and the host. They're very kind, very polite. Suggested me stuff, but on the second day it was bad , the host gave me a place to sit. I waited for 20
to 30 minutes, but no one came to see me.So I moved placed, and one of the boys that works there told me very rude that I couldn't be there.I said okay, fine, and I left.

4- food : 9/10 The food is actually pretty good. I had the chicken wings Korean and a hamburger.
It was very delicious as you can see in the pictures. They also do okay cocktails. Not the best, but okay, it's more I. Would say a beer place.

5- cleanest: 7/10 The restrooms were clean, but one toilet had an issue that was missing paper to clean your hands the table where you. They are almost always done some not but in general, it's pretty clean.

Yes, I do recommend this place.

NFL Sunday Night Football was great at Tower 12! With plenty of TV screens, every seat has a great view of the game. We ordered the poke, which was delicious—definitely recommend getting extra breadsticks. We also had a bottle of La Marca Prosecco to top off an incredible night. Special shoutout to our bartender, Alex, who was on point with service. Worth every bit of the +++ tip!

There’s always a good vibe, beautiful views, they have some tasty food options, I absolutely love love love their emerald salad, and think it’s my favorite thing there but they’re pizza and fries are also good. Drinks are really good too! Service is good, but they always seem shortstaffed so servers don’t come around often enough but when they do, they’re always nice. It one of my favorite places in Hermosa Beach!

The cedar plank was great, but there needs to be more food. Small piece of salmon with asparagus. Not enough food at all for the price.

A cool beach bar vibe with lots of beer and food selections. I tried the margarita and spicoli pizzas, as well as the charred black and blue burger. Everything was great. The service was good. We sat at the front bar area for a bit and then went to the back to lounge and munch where it was quieter. DJs started around 9:30. Note that this place is on the 2nd floor.

Great service, ice cold beer, plenty of cocktails to choose from. The grilled asparagus was cooked to perfection with sea salt and a fresh lime wedge. Overall I loved this place and would choose here over any other place on Pier Ave!

My friend and I came here because American Junkie across the street was closed and thank God! We came during the lunch rush and Hannah was still super attentive and welcoming despite being the only server. The food and drinks were both great. Our only complaint is that they could’ve had crudite with the hummus. We will definitely coming back for brunch and happy hour!

This is a popular place near the beach, I strongly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. The staff are super friendly, they appear to genuinely be happy to be there. They had a decent variety in selection and I think they could have been a little more generous in portions.

I had the lobster Mac and cheese 🦞. It was creamy, covered with crunchy bread crumbs. That was a decent serving. I had a poke bowl that was full of different flavors, that could have been bigger.

Just a heads up, this is not a quiet place. It was a Saturday night when we were here, but it was loud.

Overall not a bad place, would come back.

The food was excellent. Ceasar Salad with grilled salmon. Frozen Moscow Mule. Slight inconvenience They were short a server so we had to order at the bar. I will be back.

Very nice restaurant on the main promenade in beautiful Hermosa beach. Located in the 2nd floor let you have a nice overview. Cool staff, nice atmosphere, very good food quality. Highly recommended.

Great place for groups and watch a game. The food was good and very tasty, but the service was very bad, we were seating and noticed our table was very sticky, my husband call the waitress to let her know about it and she told him all the tables were like that, my husband pointed out to the sticky place and let her know that the table was dirty and they didnt cleaning it right, she was so mad that sprayed the table again and gave my husband a napkin so he can cleaned because she WAS very busy attending other tables. Kid-friendliness: Not really. I think is better for 21 years +. They were kids next to our table and they were boring because they couldnt do anything there. Wheelchair accessibility: I didnt see any.

My water glass came out with a clear as day pink lipstick print on it as if it had never even touched soap & water...... the waitress gave a surprised expression, apologized and swapped the cup. The ambiance is nice. The drinks were good. Service was sub par. Guys at the bottom of the stairs had a nasty attitude because we were a little lost

Good location, just of the beach A few bars and restaurants nearby. Food was really good, so was the service. Iod party atmosphere after with a young dj playing the music. But. He was really bad. No idea of mixing, or even blending songs. Played some god tines buy just smashed one into the next .

The service here was terrible. I sat at a table with a group and we were there at least 2 hours. I was a late arrival that came and I walked up to the bar to request service twice. I didn t get one waiter to bring me water, offer a drink, or even take my order. My group had also indicated that they hadn t seen their waiter since they first arrived. I would ve like to patronize with this business but I couldn t place an order. The only time a staff member came by was to drop off a water bottle and collect used cups because they were short on dishes. The person also didn t bring any cups nor did they ask if we needed any. The music could ve been more diverse.

Every time I come to this place I have nothing but good things to say about it. The food, atmosphere and service are all just great especially that GiGi, shes such a great hostess, great energy very attentive and welcoming. This is definitely one of the best places to visit here in Hermosa.

We were on a liquid diet (aka day drinking!) when we pit stopped at 12, but the food going by us looked great as it always has. Atmosphere is amazing. Try to grab a seat at the window fronts so you can gaze at all the tourists, eclectic awesome Hermosa peeps and the Pacific. I used to live locally and always have to stop in! Service is always great. Place is clean and well run. One of the best bars on Pier. You ll miss out if you skip this place!

I give the food 3 stars mainly because the wings we got were the smallest wings I ve ever received. Rarely do I ever leave a mediocre review but for this one, skip the wings atleast. Pizza, that s another story. Oven fired pizza. DELICIOUS. I ordered the Spicoli, it was good. Not drop dead amazing but sufficient and satisfying. We came at a weird time when waitresses were transitioning on leaving and upon walking in we were escorted upstairs, sat down and didn t get served for merely 10 or more minutes because evidently it s self served and no one told us when they sat us down. It wasn t until a server came over checking surrounding tables and I asked who was our server and they informed us after 10 service is held at the bar. I told him it s my first time here and no one told us when we sat down and someone came and took our order immediately and told us our tab was open at the bar now. Our first time-It was okay. Food-7.5/10 Atmosphere- 8.5/10 I can appreciate all they ve done for safety (security) and doorman upstairs and downstairs even on a Thursday with the music and fire pits upstairs brings a nice touch. I can also appreciate the layout of the bar and overseeing the promenade. Didn t get a chance for desert. Was too full. Maybe next time.

6/25/2024: First-time visitors here. Located on a Walking street (closed to auto traffic), Tower 12 was a bright, lively place (for a Tues!) Staff greeted us and got us seated quickly, drinks and appetizers came promptly. The menu was extensive, and seeing the items being served at surrounding tables made choosing a meal difficult.. everything looked FABULOUS.. starters, salads, pizza, sandwiches, entrees.. and all were heartily enjoyed by the diners! Plan to visit here again on our next trip from Arizona!

I brought my wife here a couple weeks ago as our previous experiences have been good. This time we waited for about an hour, which wasn t the worst thing, but after waiting an hour we got seated on a couch??? I m sorry but my wife and I didn t get ready to have dinner in what seemed to be our living room. Anyways, I asked the host if there was anyway we can get a table, and she said it s first come first serve, so we would need to go back to the end of the line? I already waited my hour, can you not just put me back on top of the list? I asked her that and she replied saying I would need to speak to a manager. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, and while we waited we had tables available to the left and right of us. When I asked our server if we could move to those she said it was reserved, yet there wasn t any reservations on the weekend. She got her manager and he said it was reserved for his girlfriend!! I just thought that was ridiculous, he ended up comping our dinner, which was cool, but didn t cover our dessert. Sometimes a refund isn t enough, as a business owner you have to go above and beyond at times to make up for the experience and time lost waiting as well.

Just went to order their kale salad and they RAISED THE PRICE BY $4.75!!!! That is absurd. An $18 salad (which was overpriced to begin with) is now $22.75! How do they expect people to afford that with inflation how it is. So sad, won t be ordering from here anymore :/

Stopped in for a late night dinner. Late menu is pretty good. The muffuletta and Tower burger were excellent. You had your choice of untz untz house music on one side and hip hop on the other. The house music brought me back to the early 2000 s club scene - it was so great. Good service, fun vibe, and good food.

It was SUPER busy and extremely crowded when we were there. It was hard to take in the atmosphere with the amount of people in such a cramped space. Its obviously a hot spot that young people are attracted to. Im not as young anymore lol. It could be lovely and Romantic if it wasnt Elbow to elbow.

I ordered pickup. The brisket is the best thing ive ever ate. Ever. Just thinking about it makes my mouth salivate. The whatever sauce that comes with it is to die for. They gave me extra. I was thinking I should leave some for tomorrow, but then a second later its already gone. The atmosphere was quite nice for a bar, the smell was quite strong (why i did 4 stars) but it was surprisingly calmer. The music wasnt too loud. And dont get me started on the service. They were all just so nice. I will order here again. Dietary restrictions: The brisket is gluten free! Ive been struggling with being gluten free, and its reminded me that there is good food in the world. Im very happy.

First time trying this place on the pier. There is an outdoor patio and 2nd floor area that overlooks the pier. Great view to watch people stroll around enjoying the views and weather. The food was pretty good, no issues or complaints. Server was pretty friendly, with a little bit of a wait. To be expected with great weather. Everyone was out and about. Parking: Parking lots are close by, you may need to circle around for a bit, but you will be able to eventually find a place. No free parking, unless it s before 10am.

Cool place to hang on a summer afternoon. We prefer the front bar upstairs, look down on the plaza and watch the world go by. Cocktails were well mixed, typical summer beach prices, the staff was friendly, kind and enjoyable to chat with. Didnt eat so cant say. Nice place! The food was pretty good. I had the garlic shrimp and cauliflower tempura. Friends had the chicken wings and Waldorf salad. The only real complaint is that the waiter brought our straws holding them by the tip and proceeded to insert them into our drinks. Ewww Food

been here before to go dancing and it was fine. last time i went was with a friend and my boyfriend. we 1st got there and my friend ordered 2 drinks, one for me and her, no problem. my boyfriend ordered 2 drinks and the bartender told him he had to have a glass of water, but didn t tell my friend this. then the bartender came around the bar and approached my friend and me and told us my boyfriend was pretty drunk and they d have to kick him out soon. I was extremely upset about this. my boyfriend was not drunk, being disruptive, or slurring words, so not sure why the bartender felt the need to make a huge deal; apparently he was just an idiot. Needless to say it ruined this place for me.
