Irish pub with live music on the Pier. They had 2 for 1 wings on Wednesdays so a couple of friends and I came here after Hermosa Run Club for a bite. There was a guitarist outside and the outside seating has heating. This place is close to a lot of other bars so on weekends, the place can become very lively. On that particular weeknight, it was chill and a good spot to simply hang out. It was also half off pizzas that night. Though the salmon flatbread is listed underneath the pizzas, note that the discount doesn’t apply to it. Credit cards accepted. They have happy hour deals on most nights.

I ordered the boneless bites with mango habanero and Buffalo cauliflower. The sauces on the wings and cauliflower definitely take the nurtrients out of the meal but they were absolutely delicious. My Buffalo cauliflower had a lot of Buffalo sauce, so I recommend to ask for light sauce.

If you are looking for a great atmosphere to get a drink and small bites, Patrick Molloys is the place for you. On Friday nights they have live music and with the many TVs they have inside, you won't miss that Friday night sport showdown.

I came by to experience the music of Under the Influence, a Brazilian rock group. It was a little hard to hear their lyrics but then again, my hearing is probably faltering after years of loud music. I came with my Brazilian friends. They ordered caipirinhas with Vodka. I prefer cachaça but it was good for what it was. I think it could have used more lime and sugar.

I also ordered chicken fingers. I'm not sure what it was but my stomach did not do well that night... At all.

Not sure if I have the proper flora for harsh bar food and drinks. Be careful.

Passed by this restaurant during a walk on the beach. Decided to drop in due to their happy hour selections. My husband and I were not greeted or met by a host. We had to hunt down a waiter to ask if we just seat ourselves (the restaurant was not even busy). Servers were not very friendly. Our order was wrong and we were overcharged, and were not offered for our food to be corrected, just told that the cooks messed up. We ordered pizza, Boneless bites, and a brownie Sundae. The pizza was really good, my husband liked the chicken (I thought they tasted a little different), and we thought the sundae was good as well, though it had more of a cake consistency rather than a brownie feel. When I asked our server about adjusting our bill, he did it under protest, and said they're going to make a future rule that you can't modify a pizza (since we ordered half cheese, half bell pepper, mushroom, and sausage - except the pizza was missing sausage). The Happy Hour special is $11 for all pizzas. I asked to be charged for the Veggie pizza (which came with all veggies, but to remove all of them except the bell peppers and mushrooms - since we didn't get the sausage). I guess it's difficult to hit the "No" button. The restaurants nearby were packed. Perhaps the servers here can shadow some of the servers nearby to learn better customer service skills. I think this would be a great way to increase sales.

Partner and I came in on a slow weekday evening. We were not expecting much, just some pub grub, but we were both blown away by how good the food was! The honey braised blackened chicken & mashed potatoes were surprisingly excellent, and priced really reasonably. My partner said the blackened chicken caesar salad was delicious and luckily the croutons were made of cheese, not bread. The music level inside was not too loud. The live performer outside was ... lets just say he was unnecessary. The server was nice but went missing after the food came out. I guess thats good because it prevented me from ordering another round of beer. I will definitely be back. Update: I ve been back a few times now, and the food is good every time! Especially for an Irish gastropub! Try the Ahi salad. Dietary restrictions: If you are avoiding gluten, a lot of the menu items can be prepared gluten-free. For example, the croutons on the caesar are made of parmesan.

Reply to the owner; Thank you for your questions. *Order was processed wrong. We ordered 2, got 1 and then to correct it we got the 2nd one. *The wine we got was different from the one we ordered from the menu. When we asked, we were told that that was the one they had. *Philly steak sandwich was really bad with old, rubber like bread, tasteless meat and i am not sure if the thing on it was cheese. *Fries were too greasy and brown looking, taste like they were fried more than once. Location and atmosphere were nice. I think food wise we were unlucky that day.

My new favorite bar. The service was great, Spencer helped us feel taken care of and made sure we had everything necessary to have a good night. Food is exquisite with many options for those with allergies. Prices make sense for being right on the pier. We will be back for more. Thank you Malloys staff!

I went there with my boyfriend on Saturday and waitress was extremely rude and we felt like she discriminated against us because we are Hispanics. She was attending everyone else so kindly and coming around to ask how they were doing . We accidentally spilled our drink and she just looked at us and turned away walked by without even offering some napkins so we could at least clean it ourselves. Like we didn t exist in that bar at all. She looked Hispanic herself with her wing liner . Sad that just because she s in Hermosa beach she think she s better or thinks we don t have money like these other white folks at the bar. I don t like bringing up Race because I myself treat everyone equally. Sad that this place so obviously welcomes whites ONLY! I ve been there before years ago and I don t remember getting treated like that day . Other co workers told me as well they have been discriminated in this bar before as well. SMH

I met a couple of friends on a Sunday afternoon on the Hermosa Beach Pier for drinks, food & live music. The band was fun to listen and dance to . The service was great, and the appetizers were very tasty. I had the loaded potato skins with bacon & my friends shared a small pizza. Parking: There is a paid parking lot on the south side of the pier and back side of Patrick Malloys. Theres a paid 4 story parking garage on the north side of the pier that usually has spaces available. Get there to park early during the weekend summer months. Wheelchair accessibility: Both the front and real entrances are wheelchair accessible. There are open tables & a bar area for a wheelchair..

Excellent and secluded during the week...plenty shopping, restaurants, cafes,bars and live music all in walking distance from Patrick Molloys..you can also walk the length of the peir or go chill on the sand next to the ocean..A Great change of pace and scenery from Venice and Santa Monica beaches,plus less crowded..And the food is extra delicious.

So two things the service was amazing, the food was not good. The deviled eggs were very yummy. But the BBQ burger meat had no seasoning, the parmesan fries were plain. My gluten free pizza was poorly distributed, in terms of how the toppings were placed. And as soon as I tried to pick up the pizza, everything slid off. I had to throw loads of Parmesan and chilli peppers to make it somewhat tasty. That being said, our server was incredible, she was so polite, and kind and fun. We really enjoyed the time with her and we would go back just for the service. :)

I would have given 5 stars upon proper policy. These people will get you drunk and let you roam. It was 1:22am when i needed to use the restroom and drink water AFTER the 2 adios drinks i was just served. Dude, i m too drunk to drive and need water and peepee! Completely unprofessional move by Mike, the small bouncer i could ve walked past if i wasn t respectful. Joel is the only reason i come here so far, this bartender is great for customers and provides a positive environment. Thank you Joel.

Always an interesting time at Patrick Molloys!! Live music tonight and it was good vibes all around! They definitely do their best to keep it clean. Our server Jonathan was quick to please the whole time. The DJ kicked it off with new and old school hip hop and house/dance music! Was there to celebrate a friend. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves.

So good!!! Had the fish and chips and a pretzel to start and was so worth the visit. After tasting my BFs blackened chicken kinda jealous of his meal. Awesome service and even went to find the calorie count for me from the owner, way above and beyond! Food came out quickly an perfectly done. This place really changed and not in a good way. They took away the screwdriver pitchers and other deals they had. No more appetizer samplers, etc. I hadn t come here since the pandemic and was so disappointed with all the changes. The new menu sucks.

Artichoke spinach dip was absolutely Fire along with the fish tacos! Not sure why but our servers kept switching out and were confused with our orders. I sat outside and watched people on the strand and enjoyed the cool beach breeze. Not too pricey and food quality is not bad. Nice place to come with friends and enjoy nice music. There on Thursday for South Bay Jam; where local musicians come up and play. Usually good but sometimes can be awesome! You never know who is going to show up!Didnt have food or a cocktail, average beer selection (which isnt bad) and OK wine selection (could be better).

I have eaten here 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Once for a date w my partner. Once by myself for lunch. And once w my partner and our 4 kids. Weve ordered different entrees each time. We love the food here and its affordable. Plus, theres outdoor seating (including heaters), which is a must for us. The buffalo cauliflower is a good appetizer. The chicken tacos are good (I did add tapatio though because theyre not hot, which is great for people who dont like hot things). The shepherds pie is alright. Not the best shepherds pie Ive ever had, but its okay. It uses a thick brown gravy sauce where I feel like it would be a thinner, more flavored sauce most other places and if cooked at home. I likely wont order that again. The steak plate was good. Cooked the way we asked ( ) and precut into strips. The fries are seasoned well and burgers are good. The burger meat could be seasoned more though, but overall the burgers as a whole are really delicious.

I loved Patrick Molloys outstanding food! The Brussel Sprouts, Calamari, Deviled Eggs, Ahi Poke Wontons, Soft Pretzels w/ Beer Cheese-mmm, yummy! Let me go on tacos, Bangers & Mash, Traditional Irish Breakfast I have to thank all from the cook, waiters & of course the waiter Cole Thank you!! Great mojitos! I highly recommend their mango shrimp tacos too. Very good service and plenty of outdoor sitting with good social distancing. Great location right by Hermosa beach pier. One of my favorite things here are the wings, they re not deep fry disgusting, instead they serve freshly baked chicken wings with Buffalo sauce, they re delicious.

Favorite spot on the pier! I come here for food and a pint often and it never disappoints. I like to sit at the bar and the bartenders are always really great. so glad we decided to try this place out, yesterday!! we had an exceptional waitress named, porchia. she truly made us feel so welcome. the food was great. i had honey blackened chicken with mashed potatoes. chicken was perfect! my friend had the fish and chips. 2 Huge pieces of fish with a delicious, light batter. the best i have ever tasted. they give you a choice of what kind of fries (chips) youd like, as well. outdoor dining atmosphere was pleasant. cant wait to come back!

Lovely day at the beach? Why don t you compliment that with a lovely meal? For me that meal was the carne asada salad. They got it down here. The beef was juicy and tender. The salad portion was just right (not a big portion) and they dressing was just perfect. Service is fast and friendly. Get ready for louder than normal ambient noise because you re on the beach and people are enjoying themselves all around the patio. Loads of positive energy and fun.

Delicious hamburger and excellent service. Hamburger at least 1/3 lb cooked as ordered. Will allow substitutions, I had grilled onions.

Second time here and after an incredible 2nd round, I felt compelled to write this review. First off, we like to be safe when it comes to Covid safety and wont eat anywhere that doesnt enforce mask rules and social distancing. They take your temperature prior to entering and require masks when youre not at your table. ALL staff were wearing their masks and they were wearing them properly. Good job! When we walked up, we were told it would be an hour wait but after the host saw we had little kids, he shuffled some things around and sat us right away. Huh? Wow, what a hero move right there! Michelle was our server and she also happens to be a manager. Due to Covid, all the managers are required to be servers due to staff scale backs. She was so friendly and offered us waters for the table without even being asked. When she returned with our waters, she saw we had kids and told us they have a childrens menu, its just not on the main menu. Perfect. So she told us verbally what the childrens menu was. My son ordered grilled cheese and fries and my daughter got mac n cheese. We are all vegetarian so we ordered the Brussel sprouts and chips and guac for apps. They can also make any burger plant based with Impossible burgers, so we got a burger (Molloy style) and a BBQ chicken salad minus the chicken. We asked if they could chop up some Impossible meat to put in the salad and Michelle said Of course you can! Awesome. PMs is VERY accommodating with special requests and menu modifications. Our appetizers were at the table within 10 min and our main dishes about 15 min later. Michelle was AWESOME! Sandra was another server that helped out a little and was super friendly. Turns out she went to school with my wife and they were able to reunite after many years! She made sure we had everything we needed and even joked around with the kids. Patrick Molloys gives you tasty food, amazing service, and a sweet view of the ocean as you dine on their outside patio. SO. FREAKING. GOOD! Highly recommend eating here!

The manager of this bar accused me of doing coke so that she could kick me out. I was with a group of about 10, mostly people of color. I suspect that her intention was to kick one person out so that the rest would follow. I have never done coke, much less in public. When I asked the bouncer if I could speak to the manager, the manager refused to speak to me in person. Instead, the bouncer said that I should be lucky that they didn t call the police on me.

Great place to people watch and the bar staff is awesome. Shout out to Jen, Sandra and Grace! Ryan is a super fun door host. My only issue is it was SUPER overpriced! Had no idea it was an extra $3 per drink for #Redbull Now I see why they advertise Vodka/Redbull so heavily! Had I known, I wouldve gotten OJ, Yeesh #goodtimes
