Food: had the steak and potatoes with mushrooms. The steak was good, especially when paired with the delicious rosemary butter w. The potatoes were alot like the other reviewers, very bland. The mushrooms were the star of the dish. Increased the flavor or the steak significantly, and was amazing on their own.

Drinks: Bartender was a delight! Not surprised locals come and enjoy the service here. Will come back again for drinks and highly recommend.

Atmosphere: Great space with comfortable seating. Enjoyed watching the game and spending time just relaxing.

It works very differently here and I’m not the hugest fan. You order from the bar and then sit down wherever you can find. Luckily for me it wasn’t busy at all on a Saturday and I found seating right away. The girl who helped me was very nice and recommended a few popular items. She also delivered my food very promptly (I was surprised how fast it came out).
No one stops to check on you, it’s self serve with coffee and water. You have to keep reordering drinks if you want anything from the bar. So it’s not your sit down and enjoy your meal kind of restaurant. You order and then are left to fend for yourself kind of thing. It’s not awful, but not what I was expecting either.

Food: 4/10
No flavor, none whatsoever. I had the breakfast sandwich which came with cubed potatoes. Salt and pepper added to the sandwhich didn’t help, the ketchup couldn’t save the stale/stiff fried potato cubes.. I would hate to rate this place based off one meal, but it was so bland. I ate the sandwich due to hunger but left the potatoes alone. Dennys has better food to be honest.

Ambience and service were perfect, but the food was a huge miss. May try again in the far future.

Also kind of crazy that they close at noon, most brunch locations are open until 2pm.

If your staying at the Marriott don’t waste your time trying to place a mobile order. After several attempts, the Marriott front desk said,”Whoops, sorry Mobile Order doesn’t work” I order a Quesadilla and Apple Cobbler in person and only waited about 10 minutes for my order. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The Chicken, Bacon (?) Quesadilla was good and filling. I may be a bad judge of the Apple Cobbler because I make a Mean Cobbler so to me it was just So So. I tasted a little burnt. Overall food was good. I took it to my room to eat but restaurant looks great!

This was my go-to spot for brunch. Part of courtyard hotel. Service is good and friendly. Nice people watch outdoor seating, but the hotel and city really need to do something for street cleaning and smells.

They don t have great menu neither for breakfast nor dinner They only care for certain community I will say In the name of sweets they have a cookie lol Room service was good but not in person when I came for breakfast and got very disappointed I usually enjoy in house restaurant a lot and they make good money from their guests. Stopped in for drinks with the wife. Grabbed dessert for the kids and ourselves. Nice atmosphere, live music, decent prices (happy hour). Servers were nice and prompt. Desserts were tasty. Meals smelled and looked good but didnt partake. Nice experience.

Extremely slow service. Even when promised 10 minutes it took 30 minutes to wait and find out that the order is messed. And another 20 minutes for replacement. All this happened in 5% load of a whole bistro. 5-7 persons! No excuse no apologies from personal.... It looks nobody cares about customers!

My wife and I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott and stopped in at this restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner with a wonderful selection of food options and drinks. But our bartender Jesse was over the top!! Was busy but food was great(wings/Caesar salad with grilled chicken) and Jesse gave some suggestions on when to request Uber not around serge rates. They had live music, which was awesome (played a lot of Santana, guitar). On the next trip out, will be looking forward to having a few drinks and dinner here!! Thanks so much.

Below average food quality for basic bar type food. But even worse service - very slow, food arrived late, appetizer arrived with meal, and waiter was never to be seen until we asked for check. Burger was over cooked, crispy Brussel sprouts were mushy, and chicken wings were bland & overcooked. There are likely better options in the area vs a hotel bar/restaurant. I would not recommend at all.

While staying at the Marriott we visited the Bistro Bar. There was live music and a welcoming vibe. Definitely a great place for a meal and dessert. The BLT was delicious and the fries are so tasty and perfectly seasoned, they are skinny, and fried to perfection. The half Caesar salad was the perfect size for a petite eater, and the apple cobbler with ice cream was fantastic! Also, loved the lemon drop drink. Service was quick, kind, and welcoming. Atmosphere was a bit loud, but nbd as it made a person feel happy being in a room filled with music, laughter and chatter.

Just bland. Essentially a Dennys sodium bomb breakfast with a markup. Im especially pumped i had to tip before i got my food, and they put the personal touch of forgetting to bring some of it. Really sells the Marriott experience.

The only reason Im not giving 1 star is because the bartender discounted the burger because I mentioned how disappointed I was. Be aware you have to order at the counter, this means if you walk in from the street you actually should go to the back where they have the counter, it is very oriented towards the hotel guests, i visited the place twice and both times i saw people comming in from the street.. waiting to be seated but noone payed attention to them so they ended up leaving.. ( the restaurant was aprox 50% full) to add to the confusion they had two menu cards, one for outsiders and one for hotel guests.. the food is ok, i had breakfast buritto. Nice clean interior, the staff seems friendly and serviceminded once you get their attention but since this is a part of marriott i did expect more

I just had the most surprisingly delicious burger at this place during my stay at the hotel next door. Its a nice bar, but I expected a generic frozen burger. What I got was a perfectly done and flavorful burger with some awesome fries alongside it. Bartender and the cook were friendly and attentive as well. Def recommend the Bistro Burger. Forgot to take a pic as I just ate it too fast.

Very clean restaurant, food was good. I didnt snap a pic of the qusadilla and the breakfast sandwich we got, but I was extremely satisfied and would have loved to go back if we were in town longer. I got the French toast for my son and ate a good portion of it myself, lol.

Not great. First we couldnt even get into the place, the door was shut where theres both stairs and a ramp leading to what you think would be the opening, had to find our way in through the hotel entrance. Had to order at the bar instead of having someone to come and take your order. Ordered the bistro breakfast, came with no toast or bread for the eggs but oddly with a side of lettuce? Haha. Coffee was pretty poor as well, I felt the server behind the bar was potentially getting frustrated with my accent/not being able to understand me. My coffee order was wrong. Unfortunately theres a lot of great places in the area to go for breakfast so I probably wont be back to this one.

This hotel and bar could not be more welcoming and friendly - And, Im from the South so that is high praise indeed!! Jessie was our waiter and he was patient and amazing to 7 crazy Cajun ladies. Stephen checked us in at front desk and I just LOVE LOVE him - cannot say enough good things. You really gotta try this place. I live in Louisiana and would come back just to stay here again!!

The service here is abysmal. Literally non existent. We walked in, stood by the sign that said, please wait to be seated. There was no one there. There were 2 bartenders behind the bar, neither of them greeted us, or said anything. There were 4 people in the entire establishment. A patron said, sit anywhere. K. We do. Waited for 6 min. Servers come in and out the kitchen, never greeted us. The same patron was like, oh, if you see someone just, flag them down. Are you joking?? We left. Went next door to the Lb taco co, (which was packed) and had exceptional service. Glad we did, already know it tasted heads and shoulders better than hotel hot dogs.

We stopped by after check in as it was the simplest option after the drive thru Los Angeles and into Long Beach. They were shorthanded, so thing did end up taking quite some time, but certainly understandable with limited staffing. Food and drinks were delivered to the table at the same time, which was a bit unusual but not unheard of. Simple menu, good food. Waitress was very nice and went above and beyond to both apologize for the delays on order completion and ensure we had everything we needed.

We came in originally just for drinks but after looking over the menu decided to stay for dinner. We started with a cheese board appetizer and then moved on to entrees- a lovely pasta dish with a great sauce for some of us and a massive hamburger for others. Hats off to Garrett, our server. I thought the prices were reasonable. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely come back here again if we are in the area.

Pretty chill atmosphere with a great wait staff. They know the food options here and provide great recommendations. I got the Brunch Burger and it was amazing! I like my burgers a certain way, and I wasnt sure I was going to like this burger, but it had so many different flavors hitting your palette that it was a tornado of goodness! Definitely recommend!

Not usually one for messing with classics, but the fried chicken eggs Benedict offered recently at The Breakfast Bar make it clear they know what they re doing when they take a risk. Their staff have perfected the balance between friendliness, respect, attentiveness and not hovering. The dining room is calming, bright and inviting. The coffee was excellent as were the drinks and if we didn t live halfway across the country we would quickly become regulars here.

I really like this place. I came here with friends for my birthday and we started with meat and cheese plate, soup, entree and then desert. Several bottles of wine, homemade grilled bread and spreads...and desert. Love the indoor/outdoor area where we sat. Ive been here just for drinks as well.

I fell in love from the moment that I came down from my room for breakfast and walked through those doors. Seriously..... from the stunning staff to the very polished image that the dining room offers. As you are seated & handed a menu to the mood that the dining room evokes from morning to night. As youre sitting overlooking the room the staff pulls back the windowed walls to expose the eclectic mood outside.

Bad experience. We chose this restaurant because the recommendations we found online. It is in good location and would be perfect if the service and food werent that bad. The server seemed not really prepared: didnt know the menu well. When we ask for a specific item from the menu, he couldnt explain what it is. We order three different dishes and drinks. After waiting for a while (restaurant not full) they brought the salad, the steak and forgot the third dish. Seemed he didnt put the order for that one. He didnt check with us if the order was complete. We have to call somebody else. The dishes were very small. The salad was basically lettuce (Cobb salad) with almost no other ingredient. The steak was probably 1 to 2 ounces and very oily fried cold potato patty. Its was very salty. That dish was $28. No worth it, no recommended.

The food is amazing! I had the trout in a curry sauce... it was incredible!! Fresh and had a salmon like quality. For desert the Strawberry and Crumbs... its insanely phenomenal!! The only reason I didnt do 5 stars...the service was off. Slow and well.... slow for the quality of food to me. If they fix the service issues... then a 5! Go for the menu...its delicious!

Ate at the bar, alex the bartender was great! However I ordered the skillet steak and it tasted like a Walmart cut, tough and over salted. Chef or line cook bad choices in the meat and cooking department. Thanks Alex you were fantastic!
