Looking for breakfast in Long Beach, CA ? This quaint looking place has you covered. I had their popular Duck omellete which is packed with nutrition and flavor for your pallete, served with your choice of toast and potatoes. I would come back again for their mimosas & bruch. Enjoy! Vegetarian options: Really great artisan-style breakfast meals & coffee Dietary restrictions: Please inquire within pertaining to individual dietary restrictions. Parking: Small parking lot on site, but street parking and adjacent businesses have availability. Kid-friendliness: Yes. This place is family oriented and definately kid-friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: ADA compliant(to a fault), with ramp access and wheelchair seating available upon request.

My kind of place! Just the right amount of froufrou (which isnt a lot) with the honesty of real food. We had their special Pumpkin Muffin, Western and Duck Omelets, Banana Walnut Flap Jacks, and Malted Waffles. We also subd the toast for biscuits and gravy. Lattes and Cappuccinos all around. Everything tasted scratch made. Service was FANTASTIC and everything was clean and orderly. everything was so good, we didnt want to leave right away... we ended up getting the carrot cake (SO GOOD!) the only criticism, I wish the coffee cups were bigger lol

Outstanding! Highly Recommend. We were in LB for a family wedding and stumbled on The Crooked Duck for breakfast. What a find! Owner was friendly and accommodating, even for our large and ever expanding party size. Menu was excellent - varied and interesting without being esoteric. Food was excellent - tasty and quick to come out. Service was excellent - attentive and prompt. And pricing seemed like a good value, even with cocktails. We liked it so much, we brought a group of 16 in for breakfast the next day.

Places is ok crowded, and left felt like the owner is a little racist by sitting all the white people in nice areas and the minorities in all the Uncomfortable crammed places. Besides the smart Alec remarks, and not so witty humor from the owner that leaves you questioning his authenticity. Better places in Long Beach to eat. But if you re white great place to go

I m honestly blown away with how amazing this place is! Ambiance: 9/10 Slightly outdated but well maintained! I love the decor and the place is clean and makes me feel safe to dine here. Service: 10/10 I love the team work! Everyone here works together to ensure the customers are happy. My server and the gentleman who works in the back both took great care of me and made sure I was happy and satisfied during my dining experience. Food: 9/10 To be fair I have only tried the avocado toast but it was literally the BEST avocado toast I have ever had! I love that I received two pieces of toast which most places only provide one slice of toast. I also added an egg which was slightly overcooked but I was okay with the result. I wanted to order the mega mimosa but the server told me that the mimosas were on a special for $5/ea which I definitely took advantage of. I love when servers help you save money! It lets me know they care more about your experience than earning a better tip from you spending more money. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I will definitely be back and I will recommend this place to many people. Please do yourself a favor and stop by for the amazing service and quality food items.

Out of the 3 places my son and I are in Long Beach we both enjoyed this spot the most. Food was good, and great atmosphere. 4 stars for the food because my potatoes were not that hot. They tasted great though. In the pictures is the breakfast menu, 3-3-3 French toast and 3-3-3 with waffles. Will definitely return when we are on the area again. Parking: Street parking, be prepared to arrive early or walk.

Hidden gem in Long Beach. This place was recommended to me by Reddit of all places. The wait was closer to 20 minutes and they were very quick about cleaning tables and the kitchen cook time was fairly rapid. The latte art is of a duck which is too cute. The service was pretty good until the shift of service. I ask for more tea to (3) different folks. Instead, I got the check quicker than any tea . I paid and left. Im not sure if they ever charged me for the extra tea because, at this point, what was a wonderful dining experience ended abruptly. Love the greetings when we got there. It was the leaving that bothered me. Im sure they would have done better if there was one person serving my table, but I thonk she had to take her break or something. Ill be back because it wasnt that big of a deal not to support the local spot

Great brunch spot for that classic feel local dinner joint. They have their main dinning inside as well for an covered patio seating that wraps around. We sat by the front in a booth which I think is the best seat in the place for sure. They have specials, staff is friendly, accommodating and on point even when they are busy. I got the cinnamon banana fresh toast with a side of sausage links, and a hazelnut coffee. It was so delicious, I was just taking my time devouring eat flavor packed bite. Seriously no syrup needed at all it was just perfect! This place literally has plenty of options for whatever it is you re craving as well for cocktails or mimosas. I highly recommend coming here to get your grub on. Great food! Weve passed this place all the time and would see them on dine out Long Beach but never tried them. The breakfast food was very good, eggs, potatoes, and pancakes were cooked well and tasty. They dont really have a bar here, what they do have are wine based cocktails so if youre in the mood for brunch with drinks it works but isnt best. We went here and went somewhere else for drinks after and it worked out great.

Tiny but very quaint restaurant that has leafy potential. Good food. Good atmosphere. Service was awful. Prices exorbitant. Did not give me a Veteran discount. Must be middle to upper middle class to eat here with prices like theirs. In a nice area, though. Not enough parking spaces. Had to park across PCH on a neighborhood street. Needs relocating somewhere down at the Marina area, next to San Pedro Crab Pot and give em hell for patrons. Yes, this place has potential.

The food here was amazing. My date and I shared a Cobb Salad and a Caprese sandwich. The portions were pretty big, and the food was delicious. The only issue I had was that our waitress literally forgot EVERYTHING, more than once. I believe the restaurant closes at 2 pm. We had arrived and were seated before 1. The restaurant was still a little busy, but I definitely had the feeling that the lunch rush had passed. I understand we all have our off days, and know from firsthand experience that waiting tables can be challenging. I hope the young lady had a better day with her other tables, because she was pretty bad for us. I will go back again though, the food is just that good!

I got this Monte Cristo, which was heavily deep fried and a little too heavy. My husband got a turkey sandwich that had coleslaw on it, and the coleslaw was just a little too sweet for my taste. This time, I gave it 2 tries (lunch and then breakfast the next day) just to make sure they didnt just have an off day. Both meals were mediocre at best and the service for lunch was really bad. Ill grant that they were busy, but not that busy. My friend had to ask 6 times for a refill on his soft drink and the girl still had to ask him each time to repeat what he wanted while she turned around, got distracted and then he had to ask her again.

But when they do come, they have a great demeanor and take care of you+ Parking: Parking is at a premium, as its on a small residential street. I believe there are only 2 or 3 spaces on the side of the building, and (1) designated disabled parking spot. Give yourself ample time to find parking; especially on the weekends
