First time here, recommended by a friend. And cannot say enough good things about this place. Weekday morning and tons of parking. Short line but seated very quickly. Very clean restaurant, from the outside to the bathrooms to the tables. The absolute friendliest staff and very helpful. Large menu with so many yummy options. Got some recommendations and definitely not disappointed. Freshest fruit. Large portions. Very very happy with the flavor, and temperature of the food. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. Went to Brunch with my eldest Daughter today to a place she'd been to before and it was amazing The food choices were great and the cocktail menu was amazing. I had the Shrimp and Grits it was mouthwatering delicious and such a great portion. My daughter had the Short Rib Benedict and she loved it ate everything off her plate. We had a wonderful waitress who was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food menu which we appreciated very much and want her employer to know she gave that extra measure of care and should be applauded for her hospitality and great customer service! The cutest was my granddaughter she had a cute child's plate with a pancake with a happy face on it a scrambled egg and bacon The restaurant was cute and the atmosphere was nice with a nice home like ambiance. I will definitely be back again!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon, after 1430. Waited a few minutes to be sat; however, the time between being sat and a server coming to our table, was about 10 minutes. With the amount of time spent waiting, I was able to order drinks and food. The drinks came out quickly, but the food took about 30 minutes. Food was okay, the fries were not crispy, undercooked, and not all that seasoned. A piece of lettuce was not fresh. The servers were friendly, but it seemed like some were going to different areas of the restaurant and weren't in one section.

I've had food from here but never dined. We went in for breakfast on Saturday. Very good attentive service and ambience was a typical brunch atmosphere.

Table wait about 10-15mins. All good. After being seated, we had our coffee and tea.

The potatoes were phenomenal, and also compliments to that pastrami egg sandwich. Delicious.

The pancakes did not fail, tasty batter, soft and moist.

Definitely a breakfast/brunch staple in Long Beach.
Highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back.

Came at 9:30 am Saturday. So peak brunch time.
No wait for a table and we were there less than 20 mins total before the food was served. Very friendly and professional staff.
Prices are fair for the portions and quality of food.
But the overall execution of the food was pretty inconsistent, some items were perfectly cooked and some items were raw or burned.
Generally good tasting but some big failures in the kitchen that day. Maybe slow down a little and make sure all the food goes out in good shape. 20 mins from door to dish on a Saturday is ridiculously fast.
We will definitely be back to try again soon!

It's the perfect place for brunch. Nice environment, fast and nice service. Food was prepared in less than 10 minutes, and it was delicious. Servers are very young, and all of them are super professional and helpful. Julian and Arlene were friendly and helpful with the best attitude. They are a great asset to this restaurant team.

Will NEVER NEVER NEVER return first off our waiter was very nice but took forever with us be some how remember to cater to different races if you know what I mean. We came 11-17-24 around 8:50 no parking good thing my husband did not drive his low rider cause he would had to park up the street then we got seated quick so I order a mango mimosa which was ok my husband order a strawberry lemonade or waiter took forever bringing his drink then took forever to take or order my husband got the lumber jack I got the chicken in waffles the waffles was good but the chicken taste unseasoned so we ask the waiter for our check she took forever to bring it in fact she did not bring it we had to get up and ask the lady at the booth by the front door we like to pay they luck we did not just leave then when we paid she ask how was the food and our waiter we said the food was not all that and our waiter was awful and that we will never return not to remind you the mimosas are 12 dollars a piece I had 2 the strawberry one taste like dirt you better off at El Torito s for bottomless mimosas plus bout time you find parking you won t be hungry anymore Long story short WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE

When I say we had an amazing experience at this place that would be an understatement. Thanks to everyone from the wonderful lady who took our name to enter to the team lead who checked in on us to our waitress that was on time with everything even though it was extremely busy. So it was my first time there & the customer service was great but what I ordered was not so great. I was over charged for some fries & the burger I got the pattie wasn t a pattie it was burnt crumbled meat of some sort tht was dry & crispy. Then I ask for yuca fries & was given 4 fries in total. That really bothered me. I will say this the mock tail I had was very good but the overall meal I give it a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. They really are good at serving an F you with a nice smile. Not sure if I should give it another chance.

First time was lovely are server spot on.... Second not s pleasant dhe brought our dri n ks with suds literally looked like it was made with liquid soap... Had bubbles from the time she bought it out, sipped a few left it alone.. 3hours later still the same. Burned are food, made it sloppy and still served it. Shame Never going back.... Nice place but the food is pricey for what u get... everything is also peppered and I mean everything the cooks in the back like things spicy and I too like spicy food but to eat breakfast with ur mouth burning with everything u order its just not for me this early in the morning. The cooks need to be trained on how not everything needs to be peppered .

Ohmigod, the flavor here is off the chain! Do yourself a favor and order the short rib benedict. Ive had to order it multiple times. Its that good. It comes with 2 little corn cake pancakes topped with fresh santa fe style corn, perfectly poached eggs, tender short rib and this savory green gravy. Frickin chefs kiss My mom has ordered their boneless fried chicken plates more than once because they are so bomb (breakfast and dinner plates). The breakfast plate comes with a pancake and eggs and the dinner comes with 2 sides . Ive tried it and the red pepper gravy compliments the chicken so well. I have also ordered the Mexican pizza and good is an understatement. Its comes with chile verde, crema, green onions, red chili flakes and parmesan. Order the thick crust though. The thin crust was a bit dry, still super delicious. Do not order the bacon churro. It is not rolled in cinnamon and sugar like you would think a churro would be and the powdered sugar they shook on it was minimal, to where it wasnt sweet at all. It was more like a fried bacon pancake. It did come with chocolate sauce, but that did not save it. Their crab cake benedict missed the mark, so I will avoid ordering those again. Ive tried some of their cocktail drinks and they are just mid. Overall though, I will come back again and again. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and parking is better at their new location. Please note, I am not bashing this establishment. I love this place, but I would like to give an honest review on items to possibly help the restaurant refine where they missed the mark or help patrons avoid things they may not like. We appreciate the unique menu and look forward to trying more things. Blessings

This the second time I been at this location. I end stop by this Saturday at about 9:30am in this morning I was riding my bike and unfortunately I had forgotten my bike lock so I couldnt lock my bike in the front. I has ask the sound lady in the front to see if I can bring my bike in so I can seat down and eat but she when and ask n they said I couldnt. So I Try to order over the phone and was put on hold a at least 5-10 before I was able to order from there. Til then I order and spend a pretty penny to eat outside when there was a table at the right side where I could have place my bike there and eat completely but unfortunately I was still refuse to be able to do that. So I end up eating out side I think that was very rude customer service in the under management not being able to accommodate me at all.

Understanding that they are very busy. I went and sat at the bar. I waited for 15 minutes. I was greeted well, but my server never came and introduced herself/ himself, nor was I even offered a cup of coffee. When I tried to ask a young lady I was ignored and when I asked a young man he politely said when he sees my server he would Let her know. So I got up and I left. I am here now at Dennys was greeted and seated with a cup of coffee.

New spot opened up in Long Beach. The staff was friendly, interior was nice, food was good. Our waitress was not good in terms of service. I had to get up and get our own utensils and creamer on two separate occasions during the same visit and I tipped accordingly. Will most likely be back given how local this restaurant is, I just hope the wait staff experience will be better.

So today me & hubby went 2 The Pan and they barley gave hashbrowns for the Original Loaded Hashbrowns. Such a disappointment because 1st time eating today and I just came off a fast and my 1st choice was the pan. Could have went to so many other places but chose this place to still not to eat. So hungry but I dont want any more disappointments. Hubby plate was fine tho. So he was happy. But I came here to celebrate with my husband. Fasting was ruff. Honestly whoever made the plate didnt see there was not any hashbrowns on my plate really. Thats crazy. Such a disappointment.

Everything is on point. Food, service and atmosphere! Expect to spend around $30 per person. I ordered the breakfast burger. It was a bit on the salty side for me, but probably delicious for most people. Im picky about salt. Note to the owner: the signage next to the 76 gas station on Long Beach Blvd belongs to you. This place used to be a Sizzler. The restaurant that was here after Sizzler never used the signs, because I guess they didnt know about them. Take advantage of it!

The issue was the hostesss did not know what they were doing. It is first come first serve but did not go that way !!! The boy was very slow in clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing the tables he had to get assistance from the servers. Very sad. I will not go there they need better training and customer service!!! Seems the food was much better at the old location. It was my 1st time at Del Amo location for breakfast. Had the steak and eggs breakfast and side of grits. No biggie, right? Wrong. The best thing was the sourdough toast. Steak was okay, chewy, and I ve had better at a fast food place like Fantastic Cafe. Potatoes wasn t appealing to the eyes and were okay. The grits? My 1st time ordering, was mushy and awful. I had half a spoon to taste and informed waiter that I didn t want it, he asked Why? Really? So I advised they were awful and look, taste nothing like grits. He responded, well, that s the way they prepare them ?????? At which I firmly advised him to take it back and not to charge me for them. I like the Gardena location but will not go back to their Long Beach location. Food prices AND tips are high and I no longer have tolerance for restaurants who screw up the food and/or service.

Ive tried the other location in Gardena and this one. This location has recently opened so there are a few links to iron out. They were friendly but forgot part of my take out order. I had the short ribs. They were tasty but I did not care for the mashed potatoes and Mac and Cheese much. Still worth a try. I usually get the shrimp and grits so I wanted to try something new. Also this location is bigger than the one in Gardena l, but so far I prefer Gardena. But please give this location a try

Listen, if customer service was a sport in the Olympics this place and our server/manager Dani would get the gold medal! We came in at what would seem like the wrong time to most, but I have a 15 year old beast of a son an there is never a wrong time to feed him! That being said we had a wait, it was about 45 minutes and it clearly pissed off some Kens and Karens HOWEVER I knew it would be worth it when I saw Dani in action. She was like the female Clark Kent of servers and the most accommodating manager(at least she tried some people just remain rude). She was handleing so many different tasks at once. From Running food, Bussing tables and managing her own counter section she handled it all with grace! (On top of the Kens and Karens who clearly had someone puss in their coffee this morning!) A counter section came up and we grabbed it faster than you could blink. Listen as a single mom I could tell this poor woman was being dragged emotionally and spiritually yet she still gave this job and every person 100% of herself! People need to remember to be kind, its free and food workers, good ones at least are few and far between!. Listen, this place could have served me canned dog food with a sprig of rosemary(thankfully they didnt! I had the most amazing guava and cheese pancakes) and I would come back just for Dani! I was excited to try the Pan for the first time. I seen online all of the wonderful reviews so I went for my Birthday/Easter breakfast. We arrived around 9:30am and was seated by 10am. Once seated that is when my experience went down hill. It took approximately 20mins after being seated to be acknowledged by our waitress. We expected some delay due to it being a holiday and the weekend. As we ordered our drinks we also placed our food order to reduce wait time. Our drinks came 20 minutes later. When our food was delivered to the table I was brought ONLY half of my dish because the eggs potatoes or bacon were not ready. My moms plate was brought at the same time as my half of my dish, We both took a couple of bites and the food was cold as if the food had been left at kitchen window and forgot about. We made a collective decision to not continue to eat cold food. We spoke with the waitress returned the food. As we informed about the cold food, we were asked if we wanted our food to be microwaved. I was pissed because I can microwave food at home. I insisted for the check to pay for the two Hot drinks we ordered. I do understand they were slightly busy, however I dont belive its okay to serve cold food or to offer to microwave the food that should have been served hot. As we were leaving a patron in the parking lot asked how the food was and we told him wed let him be the judge. Based on my experience I wont be returning. Servers serving food with extremely long fingernails touching inside the food with the public, not knowing what s under their nasty fingernails. I removed that portion of the meal that the fingernails were under when it was served to me I just didn t eat it because I was afraid of bacterial transfer. Servers referring to me and other customers as boss can I help you boss. When this neighborhood and the major patrons of this restaurant are middle-age and elderly, I think that Mr. ma am, sir, would be a better way of approaching the customer. Plus, the food was just dry , not succulent and tasty at all. I ve been to other Pan locations and this one does not live up to the standard.

Food was alright, however it seems like they re quite understaffed. Everyone looks completely overwhelmed and everything seemed rushed. Ambiance was great but it s nothing compared to the one that was in bixby knolls. Busser seemed very friendly and helpful.

Ive had food from here but never dined. We went in for breakfast on Saturday. Very good attentive service and ambience was a typical brunch atmosphere. Table wait about 10-15mins. All good. After being seated, we had our coffee and tea. The potatoes were phenomenal, and also compliments to that pastrami egg sandwich. Delicious. The pancakes did not fail, tasty batter, soft and moist. Definitely a breakfast/brunch staple in Long Beach. Highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back.

Place has definitely declined since the location move. Service used to be fast and polite however during my visit today i sat for 50 minutes with no food delivered to my table. If the issue is the staffing it should have been addressed prior to moving. Loved this place at the old location the atmosphere is just not what it was.

The pan is tucked away in this small plaza, which on the weekend it is difficult to park due to the restaurant being busy. We had about a 30 minute wait on a Sunday, which is to be expected. They have many food options from breakfast to lunch. The food was good. I recommend any of the sweet breakfast items.

I got what was recommended to me by an acquaintance; the Chicken & Waffle plate. And I agree with him. That chicken breast was fried and seasoned very well. It was pleasantly different! The Waffle had a cake-like texture, and it was topped off with blackberry butter, blackberry syrup, and powdered sugar(unique & delightful combination!). I WILL be revisiting The Pan to try more items on their extensive menu. Im interested!

Probably the best food I have had in a long time the food I order breakfast was so mouth watering the flavors that the cook prepared I felt it was better than a five star meal and the portion are plenty enough for you and you significant other to definitely share just one plate if that is your thing so yes would highly recommend the pan to anyone who is up for fresh air food definitely worth taking a look and bite I got the biscuits and gravy with potatoes and bacon. Parking: You can squeeze in there somewhere not to bad of parking Kid-friendliness: Yes is Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is

James was amazing! Top notch! He was there along with his coworkers working as a team to make it happen on them bottomless mimosas. I d your waiter is busy the next one will come up and make it happen for you. I appreciate all the morning staff. I ve had such a bad week but they ve managed to make it up. I love this and them! I ordered 4 different breakfast plates, 1, biscuits N gravy: the sauce was more like a paste, and the biscuits were a bit undercooked, the flavor was there but not the texture. Not the best Ive tried in long Beach. 2, the meat lovers omelet, my 10 yr old loves omelets, but this one was very disappointing to us both, I mean, its a meat lovers it suppose to be full of flavor, but it was bland. 3, waffles and chicken: which also fell short in looks, texture and flavor, the chicken breading was coffee color and a bit bitter (burnt), the waffles looked ok but were very dry. 4. Chile Verde burrito, Now this one was on point on everything. I also order 2 horchata waters, and I just cant express in words my disappointment, it was over-priced, and I just think that its time gentrified restaurants stop trying to imitate other cultures food and drinks,.I did not hear the end of it from my kids.

Ive been going to the pan for years now and sadly the service is getting worse. Today I was left on hold by Jacob for more than 15 . I arrived and Jacob took my order and said my food would be ready in 20 to 25 min. I waited over 30 min. This is why I tried doing take out to avoid the bad service but they still managed a way to give me bad service.

Came at 9:30 am Saturday. So peak brunch time. No wait for a table and we were there less than 20 mins total before the food was served. Very friendly and professional staff. Prices are fair for the portions and quality of food. But the overall execution of the food was pretty inconsistent, some items were perfectly cooked and some items were raw or burned. Generally good tasting but some big failures in the kitchen that day. Maybe slow down a little and make sure all the food goes out in good shape. 20 mins from door to dish on a Saturday is ridiculously fast. We will definitely be back to try again soon!

GO FOR THE HOMEMADE HORCHATA! We went on a Wednesday around 2pm and only two other tables had customers. *FYI: The Pan is Closed on Tuesdays and only open until 3pm the rest of the days of the week. We ordered the Short Rib Benedict, the Breakfast Burger, regular coffee and the Homemade Horchata. The winner, without a doubt was the Homemade Horchata!, it was Amazing, they should sell it by the gallon! The Breakfast Burger was made well with the runny yolk fried egg as it should be but the side of House Potatoes , they were the Star of that dish, I would order a bowl of them with a fried egg on top! The Short Rib Benedict fell short (no pun intended), for me taste was ok but texture was too mushy; corn cakes are soft, short rib was soft and small quantity, creamed corn also soft, poached eggs are also soft and sauce just made everything even mushier, this dish needs some texture and crunch for a better mouthfeel or maybe serve it with the crispy House Potatoes and crusty hearty toasted bread to dip in all the mush and that would add what is missing. Will comeback for the Horchata and maybe try other dishes.

Cute spot for a quick bite. Breat I rices for portions. The presentation is attractive. Taste was just OK. I wanted more of a BBQ smokey flavor on my pulled pork. The fries were a little salty for my taste. Had to send the Arnold Palmer back. Pretty sure both the lemonade and tea were sugar free.

Definitely a place to visit. Amazing food and amazing customer service. We went there an hour before closing and everything was perfect. Definitely a place hard to find. Food is a bit pricey but definitely worth the wait.

The food is good but the customer service is really bad. This is my second time here and I got the same bad server from last time. Im convinced that she just doesnt like African Americans. Before she took my order I asked her did the breakfast burrito have large onions and bell peppers inside. She replied no theyre small its the same size thats inside the home fries. So when the food came it was so many large bell peppers and onions I couldnt enjoy it. So i asked could they make it over she then told me she would need to see with her manager. I then told her i would just order something else completely different. She took my food then another person came back and put what i ordered in front of me. She then tried to take me food.

The parking can be difficult during the busy hours. The food is good and the price is average. Some gluten free options. The staff is friendly but the service can be slow during the busy hours. The wait can be long during the busy hours.
