I saw Arize Bistro on TikTok with high reviews of their waffle and chicken sandwich. So knowing me...I was like I have to taste this so-called chicken and waffle sandwich. As you walk in, theres only one menu in front of the cash register. After you place your order, you find a table and water. In my humble opinion, the chicken lacked seasoning, and the waffle was dense and doughy. The crispy garlic tofu was sort of soggy and not crispy at all. Will I be back...YES, Arize Bistro deserves a second visit.

Thai inspired brunch place in Long Beach. Its a small establishment so be prepared for a wait on the weekends. I recommend joining the online waitlist through Toast app. For a thai inspired brunch place, id expect there to be more thai fusion menu items. However the only unique item was the mango sticky rice pancakes. Their chicken and waffles were solid though. Drinks could use some work. The thai iced tea was mostly sugar and milk. The matcha latte needs some work, it tasted like 95% almond milk with a splash of matcha. Good thing I used the yelp check in for that

Not to sure if we came on the wrong day or the wrong time or what. Looking for a breakfast place for my family of 6. I seen this place on TikTok & Google search. We drove 40min to get here. We waited 20min to get in (that s fine, busy on a Sunday morning), waited another 20min to get the drinks on the table. Then we waited . We got 1/2 of our food. Then waited like 10-15min more, then my wife got her food. Then waited some more & then they said they messed up my son s order. By this time we all have already eaten & my son finally got his plate. We waited so long they actually offered to refund my son s plate. Very disappointed though. We dropped $150 here + a $20 tip in the cup ( no one else tipped). I just thought we would have got better service here, but all the other parties got service & we did not. First impressions. Update: I was writing this review during our visit. Owner tried to give us credit & instead of a refund lol. Sidenote: the family said the food was decent.

For those that have done online dating this experience was so very similar to me. The social media photos were very attractive and the excited feeling I had when I saw that we were in the same city, I must admit I was excited! Parking was a challenge, but there isn t many places in the city where that is much different But I would have hoped for brighter experience walking in the door. Perhaps I was not what they were expecting but wait the girl behind the counter had never seen me. She had the attitude of someone that was forced to come in on a day off and couldn t wait to get back to the Air conditioning and watching the Olympics. The butterflies I felt were slowly diminishing and after 40 minutes of waiting for my that special something that I lusted over online was before me I was still thinking Good things come to those that wait well . That beautiful chicken and waffle showed up. I took a deep breath and lean forward and put my lips around what I Vision to be so good and was so bland. I am sure the look of disappointment was on my face, but I hurried in for the second bite and was just as disappointed. Nicks on 2nd, Roscoe s I have dated them all And I was hoping this was going to be my life partner but instead just another hit and run and wasn t even good enough for me to finish.

Cute place but bad food. We got the monte cristo and it was made with kraft singles and came with fake maple-flavored corn syrup. The coffees tasted burnt and there were weird white specks floating in both of them. They also allowed dogs where people were eating and they were barking and snapping at every person and animal that walked by. Please stop allowing dogs, especially when they re aggressive. They should have been removed.

This was my initial visit to this establishment, and I must say that it was quite spacious, allowing for ample room within the premises. Perhaps it was due to the early morning hour of 10:30 AM, but there werent many customers present. I opted for the breakfast plate, unaware that it consisted of a sandwich. Consequently, the server kindly provided me with an additional waffle, which was a pleasant surprise. The customer service exhibited by the girl was highly professional. However, I cannot recommend the potatoes as they had an average taste and a peculiar flavor. On the other hand, the waffle was delicious I ll have to try it with the chicken. I would definitely bring others to this place, although I would advise against ordering the potatoes. It is worth noting that the establishment started to fill up with more customers as I was leaving, which is a positive indication. Kid-friendliness: I brought my baby

The. Most bland food ever. 8 dollars for a 1 piece of toast. Its literally 1 piece of toast. I grabbed th 4 corners, and it made 1 piece of toast foe the French toast. That was 8 dollars, which is ridiculous. Then, to add eggs and bacon another 8 dollars. The Bacon literally tasted like cigarettes. My wife sitting next to me had the same thought when we looked at each other, and she said, You taste that, and I said yep. The Bacon literally tasted like cigarettes. Thats disgusting not to include the wait. It was crazy to get the simple food we get over 15 minutes. This place has way too many stars for the quality we have. The mimosa, my wife, tasted like a canned mimosa. The entire meal was absolutely bland for the price total of 9 times, which was buying Bacon and eggs and French toast with drinks. Id never come back here again and recommend everyone think wisley. I personally saw the 8 dollars for French toast. To be an absolute scam for what we got.

Our food was all burnt. I m highly disappointed and dissatisfied. Aside from waiting 30 minutes for our to go order, they missed an item. And the food we did get, you can see for yourself. We ordered the spicy chicken and waffles. The chicken was not spicy whatsoever, it was dry and overcooked, it seems like the chicken was made in old oil. The potatoes it came with had a weird freezer burn aftertaste and were cold. Coffee and lemonade might as well have been water.

Had high expectations for this pricey food. I had the chicken and waffles with potatoes everything could have been better seasoned. The chicken was supposed to be spicy not a hit of spice. Quaint little diner on the corner in Long Beach with indoor and outdoor seating. First impression when entering that it wasnt clean. Folded tables and chairs were stacked behind the counter and nothing appeared to be in order. The server walked around us for several minutes until we rang the service bell on the counter...strange. The menu was at the counter. You order and pay before choosing your own table. $50 for 2 people. It was a pricey meal for what we ordered and the environment. The food was ok...nothing special. Waffles, egg biscuit etc etc. We had to ask for extra butter several times. Overall, the experience was satisfactory- and pricey. Probably wont return.

This place is very small the parking sucks especially when a big truck Parks in the handicap and blocks the entrance to the parking lot. The chicken and waffle took at least 45 minutes to come out almost took up my whole lunch break. It was okay my waffle was kind of rubbery Im not sure maybe it sat too long or what. The chicken was good I just thought it was bone in like they show in Instagram. I think they need to stop being cheap and hire one more person for the floor and to cook that was a lot for one girl to cover and tend to everyone. I dont know if what I had was the best on the menu but there is more stuff to try but Ill have to go when I have hours to wait Parking: Small and a truck parked in the handicap booked the whole entrance to parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: Good luck barely any room to walk in there

Putting an Asian perspective on American Breakfast. Im currently on a diet, so was unable to sample any of the fusion breakfast options like the Hot Asian omelette due to calories. I went with the sausage biscuit which was decent and well priced. Nothing to brag about, but the service was extremely good and the prices are definitely affordable. Hot Asian omelette was so good! Just the right amount of spice. Enjoyed the monte christo but it was way better with the blackberry jam than with the maple syrup that came standard. Waffle chicken sandwich was good chicken was the star and I almost didn t even need/want the waffle. Great service too. Thanks for a great breakfast.

I got the Bon Matin, it was french toast. I loved it. The mix of sweet and savory is delicious. And the atmosphere is nice with a vintage look. The french booth is cute!!!

What a wonderful place to stumble upon during my first visit to Long Beach. Charming, French bistro style decor with wooden tables outside underneath the tree shade. Massive mimosas with plenty of options for juice flavors.

This place is so cute! My food was great and service was really helpful and friendly. They have their menu and then the same menu but it shows you what s popular to help make decisions easier. I got a Thai coffee which I was unsure about but was told if I didn t like it I could try something else no problem. It s sweeter then I thought but it was still soooo yummy!

You cant get more than three stars putting American cheese in your omelets. That was especially disappointing. The rest of my plate was just unremarkable. I would have given two stars except that I appreciate the better-than-greasy-spoon nutrition on the menu. The omelets come with potatoes and a kale salad, for example.

I looooove this place. The food is excellently delicious!! My favorites are the Baja Baby with Soy Corizo and the Egg Turkey Sausage Cheese Biscuit I add spinach to mine and it was even better. The Belgian Waffle is just the best it s a lil crisp on the outside soft but airy and light on the inside I love their food. However, I do wish they would stop using the cardboard boxes with paper for to go orders. The moisture from hot food wets the box and paper. Often the paper breaks in pieces and hard to pull out of the food and you re consuming paper. It also makes the biscuits a little soggy on the bottom from all of the moisture. Need to find a better way to package food current packaging is horrible sorry. But again the food is grrrreat!
