I first tried the pizza at work. It awas cold had been sitting but was so good. The other day I drove all the way in from Huntington Beach.
I couldn’t wait to get it home so I ate while I drove back to HB.
Just the best!!!

It had been a very long time since I was last hear. I practically grew up on this pizza. It was my family's favorite. I'm glad it's still around. What I have noticed the prices are really getting up there. My wife and I have been going to the Ocean location and got to visit the San Pedro store last month. We always order and share a personal pepperoni pizza and a 12 inch sandwich. We've had issues at both previous places where the sandwich bread is rock hard. It's like 2-3 day old bread. The sandwich and pizza here were great. I wish they would of had on Thursday night football. But televisions were off. Will definitely return to this location.

The waitress was so rude. We had to wait almost ten minutes for her to organize forks, knives and spoons before she came to give my wife and I a menu. We closed are menus and set them to the end of the table as finished and still has to wait until she finally said are you ready I said yes and she tells me I have to leave my seat to go to the front of the store to order. I had to even remind her I have crutches it's not easy getting around so she comes to the table and takes my order showing frustration. I don't know what happened to this Buenos pizza on willow in Long Beach but it's not the same. The waitress was very unprofessional and very very rude to customers.

This is my first time eating at this location. I ve been going to the ocean location for several years. On July 3rd, 2024. I ordered the fettuccini and added chicken and broccoli. This was a door dash order. When I received my food. My noodles were still semi hard. After eating half of my food. I started to get stomach pain, cramps and diarrhea. I had food poisoning. I expected better from this location since it s the first and original location. I won t be back and will continue to go the Ocean location.

First time going to this restaurant and I ordered the medditerranean chicken salad and it was delicious. The portion size is a lot which I really like. The ingredients in the dish include sautéed mushrooms/onions, roasted chicken breast, and olives that are sprinkled with feta cheese on a bed of romaine lettuce and spring mix. Wrigley residents, we have enjoyed Buonos for years. Was planning on ordering delivery on Sunday for a celebratory birthday dinner but decided to pick up. Walked in place was literally empty. Two employees, guy and girl. Sorry now I don t have their names. No greeting, no welcome. I was in there maybe 8 minutes and watched as the guy greeted two older ladies and said to sit wherever you want. I asked him if you have iced tea and he nodded around the corner and said yeah over there. Passed on buying a large to-go cup. The girl was kind enough to process two coupons for me which I appreciated. I tipped 18%. Chicken Piccata decent but kind of rubbery. Eggplant Parm we enjoyed. Garlic bread sucks. Pizza really doughy in the middle which has happened before. We reheated the leftovers in our air fryer which made it even better than the day before. It will be a while before we go back. Food is always amazing. But the people who work at the front always have attitudes. It makes me not want to eat here anymore. You re entitled to bad days. But NOT at work. This is the 3rd time there was an attitude given. Whether is be with me or my mom or boyfriend we all get the same attitudes. On the phone they act like they don t want to take orders. This is customer service. If you dont like it get a degree or get a job you don t see people s face.

Had another bad experience at Buneo s tonight. Their food has been in a steady decline the last few years and prices keep going up. Ordered a pizza and Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. The pasta was like soup, with fatty chicken, a broken sauce and red pepper flakes? The pizza was mid. The girl at the register had a bad attitude and was rude. Not worth how expensive it was. Never going back.

A shockingly good pizza place that I feel may be over looked due to the surrounding area. I will say this is not a NY style pie place, so be aware of that when ordering. Pizza was great regardless though, a solid 4 out of 5. The pasta really was fantastic and easily competes with places posing as higher end. Has a salad bar, for around 11 you can walk away with a massive salad that makes a great lunch or dinner. Staff extremely friendly, would recommend people stop by amd give the place a chance.

Excellent all around - in my personal experience, the personal pizza was reasonably sized - dont understand the other reviews complaining. Pasta was gluten free, appreciated much. All was amazing, nice subtle heat. Will visit again.

It aint fancy, but the food is delicious. I ordered the lemon chicken piccata and it was bomb! The salad bar has pretty much everything you need and you can order it as a side to your dinner with one trip up. Theres handicap parking in the back of the building and a few street parking spots and also a lot across the street thats easily accessible to the restaurant.

Was planning on coming there as a casual party. This is not the place! Require 18% gratuity, no check split, and if more people come you have to pay more gratuity. I AM NOT AGAINST TIPPING HIGHLY! However yelp reviews were explicit that waiters were demanding higher tips than what was required. I would say small parties only, which is basically ruining a lot of business for this place. We are coming for a music festival that will likely be there every year. Sorry but didnt get the welcome vibe.

Only reason for 2 is the girl that got my pick up order was a little brat. I walked in, and the first girl asked me my name for the order. She spent not even 10 seconds looking and then asked what I ordered. Another girl walked up 1 second after, took 5 steps back to the pizza rack, grabbed my pizza and said In a bratty way, next time, tell us it was an online order . I was kind of shocked and said well she didn t ask. She says again and more bratty and demanding , well next time let us know, I said well next time you should ask, and I walked out. I Won t be back. I even tipped them 20% for 1 medium take out pizza. Pretty unfortunate an employee can act like that for no reason.

Been patronizing for years, live in neighborhood. Ordered $60 worth of food & asked for a couple of pepperochini peppers & they refused! Only if I pay EXTRA! Staff were awesome. We came right at the end of happy hour and snagged some mozzarella sticks - they were pretty good. Food portions are super generous, I definitely would say we got our money s worth - even the bread is huge! I got the lasagna and my girlfriend got the vegetarian rigatoni - both were excellent (although I think the rigatoni won). I would easily recommend this to anyone looking for a casual, cheaper option but doesn t want to sacrifice taste. Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes offered vegetarian forms, usually in the form of marinara sauce (instead of a meat sauce). Both options were delicious!

Their pictures are great and food looks wonderful so I ordered and went to pick up 3 sandwiches.. they are terribly over priced for one and then the problem is that they put very little meat in it . I ordered beef sandwich and pastrami and a meatball. They can t do much with the meatballs but the others it was mostly all just the bread and very little meat and pastrami it was tasty, but I would not do take out from there again.. I think when you do take out they cheat you and 14+dollars for a roll is not my cup of tea.

This place wont help homeless vets. Would not even allow my friend their leftovers in other words scraps!!!! This is the world we live in. Some people, here and there in society, are so cruel they have no compunction whatsoever who starves and who doesnt. Absolutely cruel to be human. Just plain cruel. I remember this place back in the very early 80s and the owners were once good hearted, down to earth people who knew my father Big Jack, not so well but enough. I cant remember the mans name, but I remember him shaking my fathers hand and one of them spoke open Italian to my mother. My late mother Marion Colombo was fluent in both Sicilian and Italian. Now the place is just painful to look at for all its worth. A fine restaurant with Gobsmackingly delicious food but the manager is in need of a human heart.

I ordered a small salad from the salad bar and it was delicious. The other guest who were with me were disparity the wait time. One of them ordered a chicken Cesar salad and waited so long for it she canceled. She was told the reason for the wait was they had to thaw & cook the chicken. She ordered the salad bar and was very pleased. Two other guest with me ordered pasta with chicken. They didnt have time to eat so had to pack it to go. Our lunch was 50 mins. We went on a Friday 4/21/23.

It was my first visit and I had planned to eat in. However, when I walked in, the air was pungent with stale oil. I thought, this place needs a deep ventilation system cleaning or a complete makeover. The rest of the ambience was dingy, with large purple walls to match the booth seats. Nevertheless, I found the service friendly enough to order a pizza to go. Even though there were only 5 other customers eating in or taking out, I waited 30 minutes for my pizza to arrive. I promptly left and headed home to eat it. It was delicious, with old-world brushing of the crust with olive oil after it left the oven. Next time I yearn for their pizza, Ill call to order it and then pick it up to enjoy it. I recommend that the owners invest in improvements to make the place worthy of the food they prepare.

Okay so here we have a place that bills themselves as a pizzeria, where a large with two toppings is $30 and my pizza wasnt cooked all the way through and had a floppy spongy crust. The flavor was great and this could have been a knock out. The cashier was super nice and gave me a discount cause I was a couple bucks short or had a hundred they couldnt break. Teach your pizza chefs and things would be great but for this money Im bummed and not looking to gamble again.

Growing up on the East Coast moving out here to the West the food leaves little to desire. 30 years it took me to find this place and the chicken parmesan cooked absolutely perfectly with deep amazing Italian flavor. Pasta with meat sauce was incredible thick sauce stuck to the pasta which I wouldnt argue was handmade cooked to the exact second of perfection. I ordered a single dinner and Without a doubt easily enough food for two .just pennies over what I would have spent for one person at any fast food joint.. I really enjoyed it thank you very much. I will be returning

I ordered the chicken Marsala pasta which was under the pasta section on the menu. Since it was pasta I assumed there would be pasta. I got it Togo and got home, there was no noodles..just chicken Marsala.. then I went back and looked and they charge you extra for the pasta noodles.. it just doesn t make sense. Why put it under pasta if it doesn t actually come with noodles. For 16 dollars they could at least just add the noodles in. Please

***San Pedro Buonos on 6th St. We entered the restaurant counter. They asked us if we were dine in or take out. Dine sit wherever you want. 5 minutes later she came with the menu. We sat waiting another 15 minutes before i walked up to the counter to order our food. Another customer followed behind me stating she liked the other Buonos better, this one had no atmosphere or customer service, i agreed. I ordered our food but they said they couldnt sell me a half carafe of wine. Per their Covid rules it was considered as an open container. So i ordered a beer which they did not have. Oh well back to my table. Decided on the salad bar requested fresh salad the remnants were wilted and soggy. We got our food delivered to the table. We went to the soda machine for refills since noone came. We waited and waited for the check that never came. So we both went to the counter. The guy asked if we were ready to close out and did we need anything else. What a joke im leaving and now you ask me if i need anything. Thank goodness for their good food or i would not come back. I wont be dining in again along with the 2 other customers behind me Closing Out our tabs. So much for customer service and they have the nerve to put out a big tip container. There were only 4 tables occupied when we got there at 7 pm. I could see if they were busy or closing . I guess they figure they get paid no matter what because im pretty sure they didnt recieve many tips. This was Saturday Aug. 20th. San Pedro 6th Street location. Only thing that saved them was the Tasty Italian food.

I used to come here all the time. Theyve been around forever. But, they got rid of their lunch buffet. That was the only reason why I went. Sadly, I will not and have not returned.

Absolutely phenomenal best fettuccine chicken Alfredo I ve had in . actually just forever best of all time just go, go here now you wont regret it staff was amazing even shared a piece of tiramisu with one the regulars who comes in all the time it was my first time great atmosphere loved it looking forward to next time

decently priced good Italian restaurant. a place you can always rely on to have good food every time, very consistent and ALWAYS FRESH. they also have great garlic bread!!

Very good pizzas, although the dough is a little thick, its stuck! Vegetarian options: At least one vegetarian pizza.

My family has been coming to Buonos for over 25 years not only for its delicious pizza and for the many authentic Italian foods on their menu. I am a firm believer that a good thing only gets better when it stays in the family. Buonos is family!

Boss very sweet to rest mad very sad very unhappy pay whole finished nothing care boss is good man soul treatment when the boss left so didnt eat none of my food unless my food can I get treated right so but God bless the boss whos a good man boss always very sweet Boss to build and under him very respectfully happy with me respect Man before woman.

This restaurant has been open too long to mess up on togo orders. If your employees cant read/see the 2 by the number of pizzas needed you have a major problem. You had 3 stars until your disrespectful employee decided to act up.

BUONOS PIZZERIA is BOMB.COM!! They have really Good food at decent prices!! Ive eaten here, and have ordered and picked up!! The parking is average, and the wait at times is CRAZY!! But worth it to wait because ur taste buds and tummy will definitely thanks you!! They have salads to pastas and one of my favs the CALZONE. You can stiff it with as many toppings as you want (about $1.00 extra and .50 for Ranch) which isnt bad at all. Im the type of person that if your ranch isnt GREAT THE I WONT RETURN!! thats just me!! (call me a Ranch lover!! ) over all 5/5 stars for this place!! CONS: The extremely long wait at times (specially during the holidays) Parking is tricky and limited. PROS: Large food portions Amazing Ranch!! Option to add many toppings Overall id recommend this place because the food is amazing!!!
