The 2 waiters were soooo slow and clueless on my visit. I had checked in with another individual at 7 pm and after about an hour of waiting outside and noticing 4 tables open (3 of which had been empty for over 35 minutes), I walked over to the waiters to see what was going on. My name had been on the top of the list for over 45 minutes! The waiters proceeded with a totally clueless look on their faces and then walked over to us outside to let us know tgat our table was ready. In that time I noticed 5 sets of people on the wait list leave. No apology from the staff other than the standard welcome greeting. If the owner was aware of the staff missing out on business im sure theyd be very disappointed. Now, about the food... The tonkatsu ramen was great although they had cheaped out on the toppings. The pork bun is tasty but each bun only had roughly 3 small cubes of pork meat. I added a combo side to complete my ramen order and tge upcharge for choosing the salmon poke rice bowl was disappointing. About 4 oz of cold, tasteless rice was served along with about an ounce of salmon.. I typically dont add soy sauce to my sit-in restaurant meals but this time I had to. To note, our server was excellent and was a natural at her job. She was able to turn our dinner experience into a better one. Needless to say, we wont be returning anytime soon. Back to Daikokuya, Yamadaya or Shinsegumi Hakata Ramen where I find them in every way excellent.

The food was delicious. Pork buns, a must have as an appetizer always... Gonna try the eel tempura buns next time. Crispy chicken, yes please!!! Theyre house chili. Is real good. It has a smokeyness to it, with the perfect punch(my wife doesnt eat spice and really liked it) I got the Tonkatsu Ramen with extra pork(of course) lol Definitely a good place to go for a date or even with the family. Dont expect a huge place to walk in to. Its more of an intimate vibe, which i really liked. I Definitely recommend this place for Ramen lovers and first time a Ramen lovers.

If I could give this place a zero stars that would be to kind did an order online and the plastic on top of the broth looks like it started to melt and pooled out in back and mixed in everything it was discussing and the chicken was burnt really bad I call the restaurant to let them know my concern and they told me it s not their problem cause it was ordered through door dash, manager came on and said not their problem and that it was the drivers fault and wouldn t hear me out at all and was rude and being discriminative. If you like rude and unprofessional managers then continue to support restaurants like these , by the sound of his tone and speech this isn t the first time some one had complain to him and he could care less

I like the Ramen, it s above average here, but I don t come here anymore because of the service charge automatically added to the bill when it is brought to you. You can have the server go back and remove the charge but I don t do this because it is awkward. I rather tip what I can and want without this pressure tactic. I find their service charge practice to be deceptive and wrong so I m opting for not coming back to any of their locations.

I had Tonkotsu ramen and Vega Gyoza which were very good. My accompany s foods looked so delish, too. However they have better improve services and chairs. They had no smile. Many tables were opened but they had me wait outside in hot summer day till my whole party showed up. Chairs are like individual bench, hard board, not really comfy.

Being a Michellin mentioned restaurant, we should expect good food, and yes, its really good, unfortunately not having anything to compare it, as not a fan wanting to eat Ramen. The restaurant is very humble, nothing to be amazed by, but the service is kind warm and helpful.

Dont go to any other place in the area or you will just be sad. This food here is amazing. The tonkatsu ramen with black garlic oil is really good. The black garlic oil can be a bit intense but if you like garlic its definitely worth trying out. It can get REALLY busy so plan to wait at rush hours. You can check in ahead on YELP so your name is on the waitlist before you get there. It is also very easy to call in for take out and its all in convenient containers so you dont even have to use a your own dishes.

Took 40 min to get our Ramen from the order. Everyone in the restaurant includes people who ordered us after us finish their food and left. I asked them what happened, and their response was that it was a choice from their kitchen. They were keeping bringing the wrong items to different table so there must be some issue in their internal system. I would not order any of their poki bowl. Small portion of fish with just plain rice.

First time dining in, I had to wait for the stove to heat up before ordering. The chairs dont have back rests. Ordered steamed pork bun, crispy rice with spicy tuna, and the chicken bowl. Let me start off by saying that their food is exceptionally good. I really enjoyed all of their appetizers Crispy chicken was very flavorful and super juicy . The sauce it came with was amazing. I also recommend the pork buns as they were also super juicy and melted in your mouth. the Ramen was delicious. The tonkotsu broth was very creamy and it came with a side of minced garlic. They also provided hot sauce. My friend really enjoyed the salt Ramen, but everyone agreed that the appetizers were a big hit. The servers were mostly attentive, but it was a pretty busy night. They were very nice and quick when I asked for the check and to go box. The ambience was dark, but great lighting to really give a spotlight on the food. I would go again! That piece of paper was my fault haha

I first tried Hiro Nori in 2018 and its been my preferred ramen since then. The menu is small and definitely not complicated at all. The tonkotsu is really good because it is thick and creamy. The shoyu is my favorite one, though. I like to add on some broccolini, chili paste, and garlic. I like that the edamame has lemon and that the water is infused.

I originally stopped at this spot for the saimin/ramen, but changed my mind because I was hot! Lol, so I ordered the large chicken bowl minus the spinach. The portion was generous, unlike other places. You order large and get a small . My rice was a little mushy, probably added to much water, and wasnt measured properly. My chicken was bland, not enough flavor. Ill definitely go back and try the ramem next time.

Their food tastes absolutely amazing. This is a review about the service. Man, has it gone down hill. Previous times we ve been here, it seems like some employees just don t care. Our server was a shorter woman with curly hair. She also wore black gloves. She only came by to take in our orders at first. We ordered appetizers and our ramen entrees came out before that. The matcha boba I ordered came after all the food was placed at the table. When she finally came by to check in, I asked for a lid for my drink and she never came back with it. After waiting for her, we had to ask another server to hand us our check and boxes. Our original server never came back to our table. It left us feeling disappointed.

It doesnt matter when you order the food. It doesnt matter if you call beforehand. The food will never be ready when you arrive. It will either be already done and getting cold, waiting for you to pick it up. Or it will not be ready yet and youll have to wait an extra 20 minutes. I dont know why they have a text system, where they tell you what time to show up, because that doesnt matter either. All that said, the ramen is great though, but pretty expensive.

We ordered a few items off the menu. Spicy tuna rice bowl- definitely our favorite. The combination of white rice, quinoa, spicy tuna, corn, spinach, spring mix paired with lemon juice and soy sauce. Delicious. We definitely recommend it as appetizer. We grabbed a small but they also offer it in large. Tonkotsu Ramen- were not even going to try and spell it out (ok, we pulled up the menu) tonkotsu Ramen is delicious. We added an extra egg and 2 spoonfuls of chili paste. Noodles had a good texture. Not hard or soft. Add black garlic oil if you can! Pork buns- definitely a must. Very good. Chefs kiss. Get the pork buns! Cucumber mint yuzunade- best refreshing drink ever. Get it. Sad day though, no sparkling water. Friend was sad. :( Waitress is great. Staff is great. Ambiance is cool. Nice enough to hold a conversation. They could use some music. I did hear Vicente Fernández in the kitchen. They should bump it up and bring it to the dining room.

We are lucky to have an award winning/ Michelin recognized ramen spot in the city! The broth on the tonkotsu ramen is truly worth the wait! The rich broth that takes 24 hrs to prepare is soo good, flavorful on its own and you ll need to tryyy before adding more toppings like the black garlic oil( my fave) or house spicy sauce! Have the full HiroNori Experience by getting the uniquely prepared take on our usual drinks - the Matcha Latte with Asuki Boba (with red bean paste) and Cucumber Mint Yuzunade both worth having and the appetizers crispy rice tuna as our top fave!

While Ive had cold noodles like this before but korean style. This was unexpected and it threw me off as it was not stated in the description and the pictures i see if it did not show ice. This is the 4th hironori location I ve been to and it is still just as amazing as the other 3 locations. There is a decent lot located behind the storefront in the Main Street. This is also the entrance to the restaurant and apparently you can check in online to dine here. I haven t seen that at other locations before. I ordered my tonkotsu to go via their website and loved that the estimated time was fairly accurate. I think they actually got it ready a few minutes before time was up and I always appreciate that. They gave me a huge heap of garlic paste which I was definitely a fan of and of course the ramen was amazing. The seating here is about the same size as the one in their Orange location and certainly more plentiful than their Irvine (Michelson) location but the one on Sand Canyon still takes the cake due to indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, another 5/5 for me. (35/100 2023)

The ramen is great the atmosphere not so much. This is precisely why we stopped coming here in the first place. The restaurant was absolutely chaotic at 5pm. There was no music playing, the people working were shouting and they were extremely unorganized for online orders. We dined in, sat at the table right by the door, which seemed to invite everyone waiting to stand and almost hover around us. Eventually enough people were by the door that the staff asked them to wait outside. It s the uncomfortable vibes for me.

Wanted to try this place after all the hype it has received. It was ok. Not great, just ok. Honestly, The Ramen joint in Westchester is better. We ordered both the Tonkatsu and shoyu Ramen as well as the chicken karage and pork buns and it was all just ok. The Tonkatsu broth was a bit on the salty side. Food

One of the best broths i have ever tasted. The broth had depth. Its not salty as others ones I ve had. The pork mets in your mouth. The pork buns are heavy on the bun and light on the meat, thats the only downside.

This place is a well-known Ramen spot near Long Beach. The vegetable Ramen is much better than most places as it s not just a watery miso broth. Highly recommend

Nice Hole-in-the-Wall place. The food and staff are great and patient. The food is delivered quickly and fresh. Seating is limited and dining area is well lit. The entire menu is delicious (my daughter loves it, so been there a lot). Parking: Located in a highly used strip mall and more compact parking spaces made than regular parking spaces. Give yourself time to find parking.

This place is a mess. Every time I come to pick up my order they give me a 10-15 minute estimate, but it takes more than 40mins. I checked in and they said my order was waiting on a single appetizer, but that alone caused an additional 35min delay. This place sucks. Place your orders 2hrs ahead of the time you want to eat.

Wow...its crowded and then there is a long wait paired with difficult parking but the food is worth it. Have patience with the staff since they are inundated as well.

Stopped here on a cold and about to be rainy afternoon. Its a very minimalist vibe inside. My friend and I both got the Tonkatsu ramen, and I added the spicy sauce. Sauce was not that spicy so it took a few scoops to get the desired kick. The thick house noodles are super good. The broth was so creamy, just a little salty for me. The pork wasnt as crispy as Im used to but it was delicious. Heads up no cash and there is no tipping. Theres an optional service fee instead so they can compensate the staff appropriately.

Had ramen with the homies here and it was delicious. We all got the same bowl, what ever the most popular one is, just ask your server. We were not let down. My friend had made reservations in advance, or maybe he just got us on the waitlist, but that was helpful as there was a pretty long wait when we walked up. It s a no frills facade and dining room but the food speaks for itself.

If you plan for a dine-in at this restaurant I would suggest joining the wait-list on the website earlier. Had the shoyu ramen and vegan ramen here. The slurp-a-bility of the noodles is really good. If you are a fan of spicy food then I would suggest in trying the house spicy sauce. I personally loved it with my shoyu ramen. Vegetarian options: Has the vegan ramen .

Highly recommend trying HiroNori if you re looking for a new Ramen spot. I ordered their tonkotsu ramen and it did not disappoint! The Broth was super flavorful and the original noodles were amazing. There was a bit of a wait upon arrival but they have a great system that allows you to get text notifications once you sing in. Once we were seated Desire was very prompt, detailed and polite. I will definitely return for more!

This ramen joints is very tasty! The pork was very tender and the karate was cooked and seasoned nicely. We just happened to go by on our Sunday afternoon and we re pleased with this nice find. Staff was friendly. It s not a large space so u may have to wait, but I think it s worth while. Let the Falcon fly!

Had a great dine-in experience here! The staffs were very friendly and they explain their menu well. I had their tonkatsu ramen and it was creamy and delicious. The broth was amazing! I also had their cucumber drink, and it taste refreshing. The price for the quality of food you re getting, in my opinion is just right. They also automatically add gratuity to the bill but they explain it to you how it works and you can take it off if you wish to. I d definitely come back when I m around LA. TIP: Go to their website and add your name to the waitlist before going! They usually have a long waitlist so I d suggest to check on it first so you don t have to wait outside the restaurant for a long time to get seated.

Good was great, the reason this only gets four star is the service, we had to wait for about an hour before we got our food.

Great food, poor service. Anytime we make orders via food app, the order is incomplete or lost. Website says phone orders accepted, but they never answer the phone. Walked in for a take out order after multiple call attempts and no answer. Walk up/Take out order took 50 minutes. Only worth it if you can sit and eat at the restaurant.

Delicious meal. Small menu makes it easy to choose. Very efficient system for seating (no reservations, first come first served only). So glad it was cool today, because Ramen really hit the spot! Vegetarian options: They have a vegan ramen bowl, with tofu and soy meat. Ive had that before and its delicious!

It was more like Mexican+Japanese style reman. But it was still delicious. I asked for extra spicy. it is not real authentic Japanese Raman. It s like fusion style.

This is one of the best, if not the best, ramen Ive ever had! It was sooo delicious!!! The toppings selection is not as extensive as most of the other ramen restaurants Ive been to, but honestly, its not even necessary. The ramen at HiroNori is just top notch even without all the extra bells and whistles. Dont walk... RUN to go try it!!! Im definitely running back here. It is more than worth the drive from DTLA to LB.
