Charming Ambiance and Quality Treats at Café Giverny As a newcomer from the Bay Area, I m on a mission to find cozy spots around LA, and Café Giverny was a delightful find. Known for its welcoming ambiance and attentive customer service, this cafe truly lives up to the hype. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some quality treats. During my visit, I tried their Original Latte and ice cream balls both were wonderful! The latte was smooth and flavorful, a great balance that felt like a comforting treat. The ice cream balls were a fun, delicious addition that made my visit even more enjoyable. Though I only sampled a few items, the quality was impressive, and I can see why others speak so highly of this place. If youre looking for a cozy, friendly spot in LA to enjoy great coffee and sweet treats, Café Giverny is definitely worth a visit. I m excited to return and explore more of their menu soon!

Yummy drinks and some huge croissants in different flavors (French bakery style) . I had Berry latte with oat milk . Nice decor, vintage lovers should check out this place. Classical vibes & very artsy similar to Urth Cafe in Little Tokyo. The servers were very kind and welcoming, their pet bird Mori was super cute as well. Vegetarian options: Ask for non dairy options for lattes and drink (oat milk substitution, and ade drinks) Dietary restrictions: Non dairy option available (oat milk)

Lovely place! A bit disappointed they dont make sandwich anymore but their tea and coffee are delicious, and the organic home made ciabatta is to die for! They have also yummy Italian glaces, macarons. The ambiance is quite unique, it feels a tea salon in someones house. The place is decorated with nice art pieces and some French paintings.

It was my first time to visit here. I was fascinated so much by this cafes interior and overall atmosphere. The staff was very kind and sweet, and their coffee and the Misugaru shaved ice were very delicious. I would definitely visit here again when I come back to LA! But be careful when you park here. The entrance of the parking lot is narrow and not easy to enter, and there are limited spaces to park there.

I loved this place. We ended up closing it out, but it was great to catch up with a friend and sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of beautiful things to look at, the classic music in the background was a nice touch and the couple running the place was nice. The bathroom smelled LOVELY. Not kidding. Lots of antiques. The macarons werent the best, but my friend loved the hot coco. It was just really a nice comfort shop to end the night. Want to go back and try the caffeinated teas when its not so late and they have the pear one which was sold out.

Very classy and elegant establishment. The owners have definitely invested their heart and soul into this neighborhood coffee/tea shop. The ambiance and menu definitely seem more designed for refined tastes common to an older generation but will be wonderfully appreciated by any customer looking for delicate care and appreciation of the finer (i.e. organice) details of their coffee, tea, cakes, macaroons, bingsoo, and award-winning ciabatta.

Cafe Giverny left a lasting impression on me, even after just one visit. I felt a sense of warmth and coziness that instantly put me at ease. The decor was tastefully rustic, with an artistic touch that added to the overall charm of the place. As for the food, it was a delightful journey for my taste buds. The menu showcased a variety of delectable options, from classic breakfast favorites to unique twists on traditional dishes. I opted for their signature dish, and I was blown away by the flavors and presentation. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure my experience was nothing short of exceptional. While Ive only had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Giverny once, its safe to say that Im already looking forward to my next visit.

Overall: 4.7/5 (macarons only) Macaron 6 Piece Gift Set ($15): We go this as a gift from our cousin. The macarons came in a cute box and were packaged nicely. She got us the following 6 flavors: rose, red velvet, pistachio, salted caramel, chocolate, earl grey. We were so impressed that you can taste each flavor without them being too subtle or overpowering, specifically for the rose, pistachio, chocolate, & earl grey. The red velvet & salted caramel had more of a subtle flavor than the other 4 so I wouldnt get them again. My favorite in order was Rose, Earl Grey, Pistachio, & Chocolate. The macaron shell was also the perfect texture, making it really smooth to bite into. I wouldnt have stumbled into this tea shop on my own so Im so glad that my cousin got this gift set for us to try :)

Cute cafe to hangout. Extremely overpriced. I think it s a husband and wife duo that runs the cafe. They work hard are very sweet. Service was great. They bake their own bread and brew their own drinks. Really like the old vintage chic vibe with cute tea pots and cups. Lots of Koreans. However, $9 for a cup of lemon tea. Iced is more expensive. It was good but not worth $9. Free parking in the front and back. Open until late. Not dog friendly but you can call and ask if they can be in a carrier. I think its a cafe run by an uncle and ajumma couple. The cafe is clean, there are plenty of places to sit, and the service is good. The man working was very kind. There is also parking at the front and back. But the price is too expensive. A cup of warm lemon tea is $9 and other teas are more expensive. It looks like he made the bread himself, but it was too late so he didnt eat it. I know that it costs a lot of money to run a cafe, but I dont know if it was really worth it. Perhaps because of the high price, only Koreans come here.

I feel like Im in London when I see those cups and pots. Owners and staff are nice and always give a warm welcome. The place is a house that transformed into a cozy cafe. They have a berry cake that you can enjoy to have a slice whenever u feel like having dessert and tea/coffee. The cake is not too sweet and is good portion to share. Ive been coming to this place a few times and will come back again.

Ill start out by saying Im unclear on the root of my interaction and will let the reader make their own determination based on my recount. I went to Cafe Giverny a couple of weeks back because it was one of the only cafes open after dinner and a friend and I wanted to grab some tea and continue to catch up. It was like 9:30-9:45pm on a Friday (at least an hour before it closed). We walked in, there were a a lot of guests and it was pretty packed. I assume the owner and owners wife came to my friend and I (my friend is Japanese and Im black) and told us they were closing. They CLEARLY were not closed, nor closing. It was weird because I looked at their hours and made sure they were open before we went as well. Ended up going to The Yellow House next door. We walked by Cafe Giverny on our way back to our car, maybe a half hour to an hour later, and they had even more people at their outside table, a big group of whyte people. That said, Ill never go there again.

Cafe Giverny is one of our favorite cafes in Koreatown, quiet and quaint and unique in all of the cafes available in the neighborhood! We love coming here to wind down after a busy day or after a meal, as the ambiance is like a cozy friends home with beautiful vintage dishes and cups. ARRIVAL/PARKING: There is a small lot in the front of the cafe (which looks like a house, cozy with string lights and vintage foot stools / pianos in front) and a slightly bigger lot in the back; street parking is available if those are full. Walking in you are greeted warmly and usually we are ushered to our seats without a wait; we usually visit in the evenings after dinner and there are usually folks enjoying after-meal sweets and teas then too. The glass cases have beautiful serveware on display and desserts too! ORDERING: Menu has an extensive list of coffee (oat milk substitute available, yes! and decaf available for all drinks), pots of tea (one cup per pot, extra cup for $3), shaved ice, homemade sourdough sandwiches, sweets and snacks. I enjoy how the teas are ordered by the caffeine level, so you can have an herbal no-caffeine order if its close to bedtime, or get a medium level tea if you want a bit of a pick me up. There are also Korean traditional teas available, as well as sorbets, ice creams, and acai bowls. EXPERIENCE / FOOD / DRINK: I love the CAFFE LATTE, the last time I ordered this it came in a teacup that had a tiny bee decoration that emerged as I sipped it, served on a teacup dish that had a wee grasshopper on it. The POTS OF TEA are unique and if your party ordered one each, each teapot is likely different from each other and gorgeous. The STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE slice is one of the best slices of cream and fresh berry cakes in town and we order it almost every time, the cream not too sweet, the cake airy and fluffy. The SALTED CARAMEL MACARON is the my personal favorite flavor of macaron, dainty sweet and delicious with a coffee drink. These are all so lovely enjoyed on the homey wooden tables and chairs, a mini grandfather clock nearby, or a piano overlooking your tea. SERVICE: Friendly and not intrusive at all, its like youre hanging out at a friends place if that friend has excellent coffee and cakes and ceramics :) Take your time, the cafe says! Lovely place and one of our favorites.

The ciabatta was chewy and very delicious. I heard from an acquaintance that it was a great ciabatta restaurant, so I went there, but I was disappointed to see that the only varieties available were chocolate and basic. I also had a salmon ciabatta sandwich, but it had a clean, slightly refreshing taste because it had vegetables I couldnt tell if it was shallots or something, but it wasnt the typical taste. I had cake, tea, and coffee, but personally, I was most satisfied with the tea. I felt good because the male owner was cheerful and kind. Its quite pricey, but I recommend it if you want to occasionally have brunch or relax in a quiet cafe. The space is bigger than I thought, but its separated into several areas so its not soundproof, but it was nice because I didnt have to meet a lot of people and not be close to them. There are a few tables outside as well.

Ive already left an amazing review for this place before and it still stands true. This review is for their wholesale cake sale which you can pre-order the day before if you call between 10am and 12pm. (2 hour window) Their cake is a bit pricey, but it is a price well given. Their cake is good for 12 people (1 slice each). At this moment, they only have their strawberry shortcake available. Their cake was used for a birthday and it was absolutely phenomenal. It had the perfect amount of cream and fruit, the cake was exceptionally made, being a perfect balance of sponge cake and cream. It was a refreshing cake and not too sweet either. The kind of cake Id recommend for 6 people instead because everyone is going to want a second slice. I could have easily gone to another place more convenient and closer to me, but it was worth the travel, it was worth coming here for my cake, it was worth supporting this business, and the kind and generous people in it. I love Café Giverny, and I stand by supporting this business. Thank you café Giverny, for helping me celebrate my dads 70th birthday, the right way.

This is Giverny Cafe, which was created in a renovated house. Let s briefly introduce Giverny (Monet s garden): It is a small, rustic town located in the Normandy region of northwestern France. Giverny is famous for being a place where Monet, a representative French impressionist painter, passed by on a train and fell in love with the beauty of the village. He built a house there, tended a garden, and created numerous masterpieces using the garden as a motif. Since then, Giverny has been called Monets garden and is said to have become a representative tourist attraction in France with romance, nostalgia, and beautiful scenery, with the house where Monet lived, an art museum, and a wonderful cafe. Open at 8 a.m. Closes at 11 p.m. High-speed wireless Internet is available. Parking is free, but there is a bit of space. Beautiful teacups are on display and sold at affordable prices, as well as works by various artists. Organic rice flour is delicious. This place also has a good coffee scent.
