Unexpected gem. Large selection available with some unusual combinations but they work! It gets busy and people tend to post up for the day using the wifi and working so tables aren t always readily available. It s not very fast, as they are usually pretty busy. Be patient, it s worth it! Parking: There is a parking lot for customers only but only offers space for about 8 cars.

The food is great, service was OK (tables were not clean). Server spilled my juice on the table and didn t come back with napkins or a rag to clean it up so I had to ask the juice bar worker for a wet rag to wipe down the table. For price you pay for a meal here, one would expect the tables to be clean and for the decor to be up to a certain standard. Most of the seating in their front patio area has torn and damaged cushions. The tables really need a sanding and a fresh coat of paint.

The place is nice even if the location isnt the best. From the Walk of Fame you need to walk for about 10 minutes and you know, that area is not the best. However, inside the restaurant you can also stop to work or stay on the PC, using the wi fi. But now, lets move on to breakfast: we ordered an empty croissant, Nutella crêpes and a cappuccino. Almost everything was good except the croissant, which was too buttery for my taste. We spent a total of $26.22, which is average for Los Angeles.

This place is great. A little expensive tho. $12 for a small raw juice is a bit much, maybe if they have you a little more, it would make sense. ANYWAY, I can walk there from my home. It would be better if they stayed open until 7:30. I come on my off days but it would be nice if they stayed open just a little later because 5pm is crazy. Also, this seems like a cool place to have poetry events or some kind of chill event .but it s a great place. PLEASE ETEND THE HOURS

So happy I found this place! It s a very welcome change from the cut-and-paste overly hip and unoriginal LA coffee shops with $18 avo toast and 3 pastries available. My favorite spot in Hollywood to bring my laptop and get some work done in a peaceful environment, or meet a friend at place that still has a bit of a bustle and vibe. Outside seating at the back helps to escape Hollywood and is relaxing and quiet. The food is great and they have a large menu with something for everyone. I recommend the crepes and the empanadas. Coffee could be better but isn t the worst. Smoothies could also be better. The staff are super friendly and even though there can be a bit of a line to order, the service is still reasonably fast. Definite regular for people who work/live in Hollywood!

This restaurant Solar de Cahuenga is really upscale and relaxing. The presentation is impeccably artistic. I took a picture of Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon, Salad of Greens, Carrots, Tomatoes and Cucumber, Lemon Wedges, a dusting of Parsley.... Coffee with Coconut Milk and Raw Sugar. My least favorite part was the mashed avocado wasnt fresh-it was the prepackaged kind that never tastes good.

I found this special little coffee shop unexpectedly while wandering down Cahuenga. It is a wholesome little shop with a good selection of coffee and fresh juices, that also makes a variety of good breakfast dishes. The interior is well organized with multiple little sections with slightly different feels, giving it a welcoming spirit where you can choose the spot which fits your mood the best at the moment. There are multiple entrances into the place in each one also feels different from the other, one coming from a back garden like feel, one coming in from the side with an almost art deco feel, then in front along Cahuenga there is an old style overhang with an outdoor seating area in front. It makes the place feel very spacious and interesting to explore. The place is very clean and cozy inside and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my Pain Perdu (french toast) this morning, it all tasted very fresh. I am craving to come back and try their lemon Rico to pancakes - that sounds yummy.

We were here for a business meeting, and had breakfast at the same time, the food was very delicious, natural, the juices were fresh, but the glasses are very small. I loved the blue bottles and glasses in which they serve water, and something I cant help but mention is . The Chairs!! I found them so COMFORTABLE, they have a curved shape that feels so attached to your back, I mean the backrest, it seems that your back fits there and makes you stay in a correct posture. I liked them a lot , the place is pleasant as well as private... and a negative comment is If the tables look like they need more hygiene cleaning Thank you very much mm parking very close at hand!! The most expensive croissant you will ever buy maybe? I double checked I got a latte for 6.50 + 1 for almond milk = 7.50 (ridiculous to begin with) Then I was charged $14.24. Minus the 9.5% tax that s $13. That means the croissant was $5.50 at least. Was I scammed?

I ordered a Breakfast Sandwich with Fries and a Spanish Latte. The food was absolutely excellent. The fries were a superb mix of crisp and soft, and the sandwich was a blend of fabulous flavors in every bite. I truly had to slow myself down to appreciate every element of the sandwich, it was beyond all expectations. The Spanish Latte is similarly a phenomenal menu item. I ordered it with whole milk and iced, and it mixed with the flavor of condensed milk and coffee in a beautiful way. I am not someone who particularly enjoys the taste of coffee, but I do want to taste it in my drinks, and you can certainly taste it here. I recommend drinking it quickly if you order an iced drink, as the ice does melt quite fast, but do take your time to appreciate the flavor profile. The barista I spoke with was so cordial and professional. I told her I had never been to this cafe, and she walked me through the menu quickly after asking me a few questions about what I was looking for. After I was finished with my meal, she was attentive and helped me with any questions I had. The atmosphere of Solar de Cahuenga is similarly excellent. It feels like a cafe, and the tables and chairs look rustic, but they feel secure and stable. The decor is simple and pleasant, and customers have their choice of sitting indoors to enjoy the sound of coffee making, kitchen ambience, and lively discussion, or outside to be more alone with their thoughts and the roar of Los Angeles traffic. The only minor criticism I have is of the music in the cafe. It was by no means so horrendous to the point of ruining the atmosphere, but it did clash with the atmosphere. I think music with more of a relaxed vibe would fit this cafe best. Again, I want to stress that this is a minor, minor issue. I would score Atmosphere at this cafe at 4.5/5 if I could, but I cannot so I rounded it to 5. One last note. The food is expensive. The Breakfast Sandwich cost $16 and the Spanish Latte bumped my total up to $25. It is not an inexpensive dining experience, bit this to be expected in Hollywood. Know before you go that you will have to spend a large amount here, and you may not want to make this your daily coffee and writing stop if you are watching your budget. Parking: The parking is located directly behind the cafe. It is moderately sized, but be aware that some parking spaces are designed in such a way that your car may be blocked by another vehicle. Or vise versa. According to signage posted, staff may ask you to move your vehicle to allow another customer to leave.

French toast? More like charred toast. With the pretext that if they are not done this way, the interior will be raw. Maybe its a matter of being more patient with the grill, over low heat so that it doesnt stay raw inside. Anyway, $16 for a dish that literally kills... On the other hand, tables that look a little disgusting because of how dirty they are. Gentlemen, put a little love into what you do here in LA. In short, I do not recommend this place.

The egg wasn t greasy, the bacon bits added a crispy crunch, and the black beans were great addition. The roasted potatoes were seasoned superbly! A great crunch as well. The bagel & schmear: The everything bagel was toasted great, was not dry or too chewy. The salmon served had a great smokey flavor. The orange juice was super refreshing and not sugary. It was supposed to come with vanilla ice cream which I asked about twice & they said they were bringing it out on the side. Waited around another 20 minutes or so, never got it. I requested utensils that were forgotten as well. The crepe was just ok, definitely not worth the wait or price unfortunately.

No complaints to the employees or quality of food and coffee but be aware of prices. Cost me nearly $10 for a latte.

I ordered a medium dirty chai latte with oat milk and it cost me $9 plus tip. I was shocked when the drink came out to over $10. I was asked for feedback online and when I said I thought it was too expensive for what it was they emailed me back debating my opinion on the overpriced drink. I ve literally never been charged so much for a drink of this size. Wouldn t come back.

Great food at a great price! My family chose this place because of the good reviews and it was within walking distance of our hotel. So glad we did! Between the four of us, we tried a little bit of everything - omelette, crepes, cinnamon roll, cookie, latte, coffee, and smoothie. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere is so relaxed and enjoyable with friendly employees. I highly recommend!
