I was looking for a healthy spot to eat and this was close by. This was definitely a solid choice for lunch.

I had their Caesar salad with chicken and a side of fruit. Their green tea drink was pretty refreshing. The salad was very filling, not too much dressing and the chicken was good quality also. Overall it was a satisfying lunch.

I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu items. Parking was pretty plentiful on a non prime hour.

Can't go wrong with anything here! Staff is awesome (Big ups to Chewy) and food is healthy just like it says in the name...surprising right ha HA? Can't make a bad choice and there's something for everybody as well as them being flexible by turning a sandwich into a salad or vice versa. The in-house drinks are tasty and if you have a sweet tooth, they always have something to help satisfy that craving.

Nice small spot with small parking lot that is one way in and you have to U-turn to get out. The food and drinks are okay, some days made better than others. The dessert are pretty good. Although the fruits aren't very fresh, but there are chips and salad as alternative choices. The prices isn't as terribly high as most at least. Overall a ok place for a quick sandwich, wrap, or salad.

I love the color schemes and decorations. The sandwich I got was so delicious it was insane. We also got the Greek salad and that was amazing too. Kids eat free with a meal I believe. <3 I would def come back here and recommend it to others!

Super clean bathroom. I could sit in the bathroom and eat my food there. Coffee was a great price and almost had a heart attack after drinking the double espresso. Would definitely come back here again. Super simple menu and looked delicious. Lovely little sandwich/soup shop trying to Make America Healthy Again.

The establishment itself is satisfactory and the quality of the food is decent. However, the behavior of the owner towards the employees is completely unacceptable and disturbing. I have observed on three separate occasions the disrespectful and abusive manner in which he speaks and acts towards his staff, including witnessing him kicking an employee and issuing disrespectful commands. Your response was quite intriguing as it seems you are questioning whether you kicked one of your employees. I distinctly observed you performing a mule kick on that girl.

Last week I enjoyed an amazing lunch experience at their Sierra Madre location. Everything was outstandibg! The food, the service, the place, the price... it was a place I couldnt wait to return. So when we found out there was a 2nd location in Monrovia when we were there we couldnt wait! When we called for directions the guy didnt tell us they were closing in 20 minutes. So when we arrived with 10 minutes til closing the chairs were already locked up and the place was essentially closed. They wouldnt let us sit inside and the guy wouldnt u tie a couple of chairs outside for us to sit. 95 and he made us wait outside. Ok, so we waited. For 25 minutes for 2 sandwhiches! And there wasntca single person there. We sat on the curb in the parking lot b/c dufis wouldnt let us in while they cleaned up. Btw, we arrived before they were closed and yet couldnt come inside. So we each placed orders and 1 we ate tgere and the other the next day. The food was not worth the inconconvenience or the price. Or for that matter, sityibg on a parkibg lot curb to eat your food while its still hot. I will return to the Sierra Madre location, but the Monrovia one will never see me again. If I was the owner, Id fire the 2 knuckleheads that worked on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. To go from super excited to eat thetecto never eantibg to return? You have to admit... Thats pretty bad. I mean, how much effort could it have taken to u tie 2 chairs that were already out front? #Hihhlydisappointing!

The food was amazing. The sandwiches were so fresh and tasty. My friend and I aren t from the area but we re hiking close by and craving yummy sandwiches. This place was great! SHC is a casual juicer restaurant that serve healthy meals and juice/smoothies. They have a wide selection of food and drinks. Indoor seats are spacious with cozy atmosphere. Service was on point. I ordered a Vegan Delight Smoothie; it was good. Prices are fair. Overall, I had a good order experience and enjoyed their smoothie.

One thing i saw here that i really disliked was that it looks like they either heat up or keep warm their meats or at least their chicken in plastic baggies which us disgusting and very bad for your health because of all the microplastics from the plastic sandwich baggies leaching on to your food. You think youre eating something healthy but in reality its something cancerous, toxic, and very bad for your health. Very bad that you guys do this to your food, good thing i caught that today when i went inside and paid attention. Great idea you guys have for a restaurant but unfortunately i dont want to have cancer in the future so i wont be eating here again.

Sort of your typical run of the mill healthy sandwich Café. But a little bit more laid-back. You are self seated, but need to order first as the counter and everything is really self-service, including the water getting the utensils and even the napkins. I like their half sandwich and half soup deal it s under $10 and it s pretty delicious. I would say it is comparable to Panera if not better For the same kind of deal. I ordered the all Fruits smoothie and they will ask if you want whey protein or vegan. I opted for vegan and it is exactly what you would imagine it to be. I liked it and I would definitely go back

Bad customer service. Truly awful service and a poor response from the business. I told them I was at the wrong place for my birthday, and they were still so rude and condescending! Yes, I have many bad reviews, as I review many places as a top ten percent reviewer. I also have many great reviews, as I honestly review every place. But your establishment did not deserve that. I ordered today and was refunded. But why would I return to a business who tries to undermine me with comments like yours? You certainly cannot make everyone happy. You re not even trying. I m adding a screenshot from my bank to prove I was a customer.

Awesome catering experience. The service by Richie and the rest of the staff was friendly and better than we even hoped for. The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was ready to go - it included gluten free options and was all fresh and delicious. I highly recommend it for any kind of party. I saw this shop near my home and went with my friends. My friends especially liked their meals. They are healthy, simple, clean, cheap and no burden. The shop seems to be very popular in the neighborhood! There are 2 types with sugar and 4 types. Sugar-free drinks are available for trial ~ Children under seven years old are free!

Oct. 2023. Thank you to the owner for replacing my sandwich and the refund. This sandwich was much better and the salad was very good & the fruit. Unfortunately my sandwich was so bare and nothing to it. I like substance inside the bread. I didn t want a bread sandwich. 2 (1/2 teaspoon) of mashed Avacado. So no taste of Avacado. 1/2 teaspoon of the dressing, not enough. I will never go there again :( It doesn t make sense to me to make such a weak sandwich.

The chicken panini sandwich with pesto was delicious. A small little part of the chicken felt a bit uncooked, but the majority of everything else was good. I really enjoyed it besides that small part being uncooked. Next time, I ll ask if they cook the chicken a little more. The brownie was delicious. Drinks are delicious. I would come back again.

Tried Something Healthy for the first time today and I am definitely going to be back . Service and atmosphere was very nice and calm . The food , portions and prices were amazing ! I had the following Rosemary Sandwich with Chicken 9/10 Fruit Salad 8/10 Blueberry Lemonade 9/10 And for dessert I had the vegan blueberry strusel which was a delightful way to end off the meal 10/10 .

I enjoyed the Cobb salad. It was initially given to me without bacon and eggs, but as soon as I realized it and turned to look at the counter, the person behind the counter realized it too and made it right. It was a good portion and the ingredients were fresh. My friend always gets the curry soup, even in the summer, because its so good.

Lots of good options for vegetarians and vegans. Friendly staff who double checked which cheese we wanted after ordering the vegan chicken on a satisfying Pesto Sandwich. I sampled some of the teas and lemonades, all of which I will consider getting next time I go, though the smoothies also looked good. We walked there from the park a couple blocks to the north, so the light food was very refreshing in the summer warmth. Vegetarian options: Most items on the menu can be made vegetarian or vegan. Vegan options come with a little extra cost.

I ve been her a few times and the food was decent and price isn t outrageous. They should however change their closing time to 6:45PM because that is when they apparently close the kitchen. It s nice to know the dining room is open until 7:00pm but I ve never planned on coming here to hang out.

Not sure how much parking is available cause I walked over. There is a big lot nearby though. It s super cute inside and still has their iconic beautiful green chairs!! Pricing is outstanding!! $10 something for a sandwich and it includes a side (fruit, salad, or chips)!! Kids eat for free!! Amazing!!! I ordered a pesto tri tip sandwich and it was delicious!! I chose sweet maui onion chips to compliment my meal. They also have a lot of different teas and lemonades! Their jackfruit tea was pretty good and super unique! Employees were friendly and use a microphone to announce your order if you are deaf like me and can t hear them un-miked. He he he

We really enjoyed our meal here. I ordered tomato soup and the vegan smoothie, my husband had orange walnut salad. I felt the portions were reasonable. We were surprised and happy to learn that kids meals are free, so my son got pb&j sandwich, fruit, and almond milk. It was nice to find a place that offered him almond milk rather than just cow milk or sugary juice. He enjoyed it too. The atmosphere was very fresh and clean. They even had live orchid flowers on the table. I guess the only downside for us was they closed promptly at 7 and we met a friend there that was stuck in traffic and couldnt arrive until almost 6:30, so our meal felt a little rushed. We tried to go out to talk in the parking lot but couldnt stay there either due to an alarm system. So it might not be a good place for you to go for dinner to meet friends unless you go earlier or have takeout. Aside from the early closing time, I definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again! Vegetarian options: We are vegetarian and felt they had enough options for us to choose from.

My yummy pesto, red peppers, avocado, turkey on sourdough panini with a spinach salad was a lovely healthy change from the usual fast food. I will go back soon and I highly recommend this for your healthy eating pleasure. Very reasonable and worth it at $10. 9/8/22 Who puts walnuts in their sandwich? It IS SUPER GOOD! This is the Walnut Pesto Panini, it has sour dough bread, basil pesto, walnuts, sweet pickled onions, tomatoes, avocado, cilantro, and agave mustard vinaigrette. Only $10.20. Ill keep you posted :)

After leaving the gym, I decided to get something healthy to eat. It was my first time trying this place. The owner (Latino man) greeted me when I walked in, and most of the staff seemed distant, or just busy. I mentioned that it was my first time, and inquired about how things worked. I ordered my food, and I was pretty much left alone after I sat down. A White family at another table was waiting for their food. It was their first time too, as the dad mentioned. (Note: It was just me, and the family, no other customers at that time.) The owner got their attention and offered some soup. Its on the house!, he yelled from behind the counter. I thought, Free soup? Thats nice. I was waiting for him to offer me soup, but he didnt. Awhile later, when everyone was eating, he yelled, Is everything okay? I looked up and he was staring at the family, and smiling. I thought he was going to turn and check-in with me too, but he didnt. None of the staff checked-in with me. Maybe, they are catering to a specific kind of customer? Overall, aside from the strange experience, the tuna wrap was amazing. I also enjoyed the tea selection, very healthy, and the side salad was nice. (This is the reason for the 5 stars.) I am passionate about Equality, and so, I will not be returning. However, I encourage you to go if you are looking for something healthy to eat. Your experience may be different from mine, and you may even get some free soup. Peace and Love! Awesome and healthy smoothie! But one of the men that work there, (manager? Owner?) Rudley came up to me and my girlfriend and claimed we weren t customers there when we hadn t even sat down yet. Staff there is really nice except that one employee really left a bad first impression of the restaurant and we likely won t return because of that. It really is a shame because the smoothie was great!

While waiting for my car to be serviced at Sierra, I took a walk and saw Something Healthy Cafe. The food was delicious, fresh and well made. I also enjoyed the choices for protein on my sandwich since I am vegetarian. I ate half and took the other half home for dinner. The blueberry lemonade was tasty and refreshing. I ll definitely go there again and recommend it.

I go every week for lunch and love their menu. The wraps are so creative with great flavors and lots of choices. Wonderful salads. Their teas and lemonades are delicious. They have a cute seating area outside and its nice to enjoy their cold drinks on a hot day. The staff is very friendly. The owner really enjoys being there and makes sure everything is perfect. Well done!

Wish I would have known of this place sooner! Delicious healthy affordable food! Nice variety of options and specially loved how customizable their plates are. Great staff, friendly. Clean, calm relaxing ambiance really brings everything together. Will definitely visit again.

First thing I noticed was the vibe. Its definitely a relaxing place to enjoy some food or study (free WiFi). The food here is so fresh with a variety of choices for all! I really enjoyed all their teas! The cherry raspberry and blueberry lemonade teas go well together. But my favorite item was the coconut curry soup. The staff was very friendly and even offered samples of their soups of the day. The only reason I knocked off a star is because my sandwich was swapped with my friends sandwich. I ended up eating a bite and realized it was chicken. I havent had chicken in over 10yrs. Fortunately, I let it go and enjoyed my actual meal. I definitely recommend this place for a good healthy meal (they also make smoothies).

I ve been going here for years and I just noticed I haven t left them a review; really great place. It has a really chill vibe and setting. The owner and the employees have all always been nice and friendly. Needless to say the food here is great since I said I ve been coming here for years. Oh and kids eat free here which is something I ve never seen at a restaurant before and I think that s real genuine of them.

Nestled in between a vitamin shop and a 24 hr fitness gym lies a great dining joint that boasts healthy fare that tastes great to boot. Its unassuming from the outside but has a a very warm cozy interior. Clean farm housey vibe. The owner is a genuine friendly and generous fellow (thanks for the free chips) I had the Jamaican sandwich with trip tip for the protein which is now my favorite. The offer up salads and sandwiches soups with a healthy organic slant. So far I have that sandwich and the orange walnut salad and all so good healthy and flavorful as well. Highly recommend.
