This was my first visit to Famous PUDN. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff made me feel welcome. I was given all my options, so the hardest part was choosing which one. I went with the recommended best seller, banana pudding. It was everything I was hoping for. I am excited to try the rest of the flavors in the near future.

On top of all of this, I took the time to read the back story behind this business. What an amazing story/testimony of resilience, family, love and perseverance.

Lastly, thank you to the owner for personally thanking me for coming in. I am from a small town and these types of gestures are hard to find in a bigger city, yet so appreciated when they do happen.

Unfortunately, nothing on the menu was low sugar or sugar free for us diabetics. Wish they'd come up with something for us sugar handicappers to enjoy!
I bought the banana pudn it was extremely sweet. Almost went into a sugar coma lol! 😂
Needed to be colder or chilled longer too. Other than that we had a great and friendly experience! 😊

Really cute little place! Family owns and very service oriented. Yeah it's a little on expensive side but it's not like you're going to eat there everyday. It would be nice if the jars came with all the toppings that they do advertise on the screen. Have a good rewards program and the kids really like it. They do have a lot of really cool flavors and you could tell they put a lot of thought into what they make. But because they have no competition they can kind of set the tone for what pricing they do. But nobody is ever mad when they have a nice jar of pudding front of them.

The service and hospitality here is amazing. They are so welcoming and everyone looks happy to be there. All the puddings on their menu are handcrafted and made to perfection. They’re know for their Orginal Banana PUDN but really you can’t go wrong with any flavor, especially their seasonal specialties.
Today we got the Big E birthday PUDN & the Sweet potatoe pie.
My kids shared the Birthday PUDN and it was devoured before i could even ask if it’s good 😂 The sweet potato pie was exactly what my big pregnant self needed. Let’s just say, craving absolutely satisfied!

Best PUDN ever! The “OG” Banana PUDN is the best flavor. In my opinion of course. The owner and all the staff are really great. When you’re new you get an awesome greeting. “WoooooWeeeeee Welcome!!” Thank you for the amazing service.

The pudding is amazing!
I ordered the satled caramel, original pudding and carrot cake. Very bold and fragrant flavors. Pudding was very smooth and silky. When I got home I ate each flavor with ice cream and it was the most magical moments of my life.
( Must try) 10/10.

If you complain about the price.... go home and make it yourself then. You have to keep into consideration this is a business and they provide quality/ fresh ingredients.
For those who complain about the taste...im sure these are the same ones who think ketchup is spicy and they taste buds are lacking.

If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to go to! My wife and I had the strawberry cheesecake and the Triple Chocolate Mousse! Great atmosphere, customer service and pastries! Not to mention the candles which look like the dishes!! 10/10 recommend!

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. This was our first time in, we tried the OG, Birthday cake, and caramel oreo toffee (which so far is my personal favorite!). Love that the pudding comes in glass containers.

I actually didn t purchase anything. Although I was greeted I couldn t hear him over the music. The employee was wearing dark sunglasses, hoodie. He looked as if he was trying to conceal his identity. (Of course not) Whatever the case, I was put off and decided not to purchase. I guess my idea of presentation and professionalism are different from today s society. Maybe I ll try some other day. Looked and smelled delicious though.

Upon entry, this place is an entire vibe. The customer service is outstanding! The product is awesome and delicious. Ive considered myself a pudding person - maybe because almost all my experience is with boxed instant. But I tried the strawberry cheesecake, and it completely changed my idea of what pudding is, and can be. It had a fantastic custardy (vs. starchy) texture, really great strawberry swirl, and even a bit of cake at the bottom. Not excessively sweet. This is 100% a high end dessert. As much as all the high end cupcakes disappointed me back in the great cupcake fad of the early 2000s, this impressed me.

After nearly a year of intending to visit, I finally made it, and now Im wondering why I waited so long. The banana pudding here is sublime, easily one of the finest Ive ever savored. The establishment itself is immaculate, adding to the overall pleasant experience. During my visit, I had the opportunity to converse with the owner, whose enthusiasm and passion for their offerings were truly infectious. This place is unequivocally a must-visit if you find yourself in the vicinity.

We stopped in after dinner at Sharons next door. The store was over the top welcoming (not really my thing, but it seemed to help create a fun atmosphere if youre into that). One of the owners (I think) even came out to thank us personally for coming in. The pudding......Whoa, I wasnt expecting it to be so freaking good. I got the carrot cake, and its honestly one of the best desserts and far and away the best pudding Ive ever had! Its certainly a niche market, but if youre thinking about going, go! Its worth the stop! Edit: I was looking at a few other reviews, and someone states that its not enough pudding. Its a dessert and very sweet. To me, it was 2 servings. Ill have the other half tonight! I cant even I magine eating the whole thing and feeling like I was still hungry or didnt have my sweet tooth satisfied. Its plenty.

Ended up driving back to Murrieta (30 min drive) to purchase more PUDN from their store location. BEST find at the market, so glad I decided to give it a try. They definitely have a forever customer. I tried a sample of this pudding at the Temeculas farmers market. Me and my boyfriend ate our pudding very quickly. The nice gentleman gave us cards to check out their store in Murietta. We tried to go on Saturday but didn t notice they closed at 7pm. We were so disappointed because when I say this pudding is delicious it is an understatement. We tried again on Sunday and were treated with such great customer service. They offered us complementary water and such a positive vibe. We tried the original og, smores, and the red velvet. Definitely recommend!!!

So today was my first time trying FAMOUS PUDDIN. This wasn t just dessert , this was an experience! I was warmly welcomed through the front door and asked if it was my first time, which it was. They rang the bell and celebrated my first visit! After that the young men behind the counter educated us on all the flavors and everything that was in each item. Extremely knowledgeable and customer service skills were on point. Once we finished ordering the young man told us to scan their QR code to watch a youtube video about how their business started and where they came from. It was overall amazing. To top it off, as we left, they shouted the BEST goodbye ever. Thank you so much for the puddin guys it was absolutely delicious! see ya tomorrow

I came in and ordered Carmel Oreo toffee which wasn t the original flavor I was planning on getting but the cashier Caleb convinced me it was one of the top flavors and I really enjoyed it. The customer service by Caleb was excellent and I enjoyed my time there.

I got to meet EJ at the SEMA FEST in Las Vegas. He had me at banana pudding, but he even had options to take it further. Buying pudding in a parking lot sounds strange, but EJs energy pulled me in. I wasnt disappointed. This was the best thing I ate at the whole festival. If youre near their store hit em up and if you see a generic sign that says pudding at a festival, dont hesitate.

Place is amazing we stumbled in and bought a 6 pack to try it out and were amazed with each gourmet pudding. Staff was wonderful it was clean and DELICIOUS. Best pudding Ive had in my life. Outstandingly addictingly yummy (and I m not usually a pudding person). Tried both the strawberry cheesecake and the peach cobbler. Both are equally delicious with the flavors blended throughout. Looking forward to trying other flavors! Excellent service and the atmosphere will make any day even better! My only complaint is that they are dangerously close to where I live and I will have to control my likely addiction! Perhaps if I walk ?

When I say to you enter at your own caloric risk I mean it! This place is phenomenally yummy and the variety of flavors will have you coming back to try them all. Myself and members of my family, out of town friends etc. have tried almost every flavor that they offer and I have not tasted one that I did not like and I do not even like banana pudding. You enter the small shape and are immediately welcomed. If you are a first timer there is a tradition that they welcome you with. When you leave you are thanked and celebrated. The shop, is not that big, and depending on the time of day you arrive you may run into a long line. They are currently only open from Thursday-Sunday. The only negative is that the pudding is pretty pricey. My son found out the hard way that if you go late on a Sunday you may not get the flavor you are wanting because they are sold out. Famous Pudn has fabulous pudding and consistently great service.

Not worth it.. They had a great ambiance, very clean, friendly staff, and fantastic marketing.. but the actual pudding was extremely overpriced and not that great. They didn t give us the beautiful perfect whipped cream and cookie toppings that are in the pictures. It was over $10 a person for a small jar with only a few bites of actual pudding in it which wasn t smooth and actually kinda grainy textured. The novelty and idea of it seemed great but the actual product just not worth it. Everyone in our party agreed that it isn t worth going back.

Ordered 5 pudns, a bit on the pricy side. They were good, but not at all served like what was pictured on the web. Peach cobler shows real peach slices and cream flowing out onto a plate. I was given a small plastic cup (pre made) on a piece of paper...paid extra for the extra cream....still not what was pictured. The location was much smaller looking in person than how it is pictured and half the floor space was littered with inventory not put away in the back. Staff was friendly, and helpful. I would give them another try.

Great concept, but I was extremely disappointed. They of course were out of the flavor of the day, shocker. The employees are polite and kind which is a huge plus. We ordered a 3 pack and Once I got my pudding I was less than impressed. The pudding was runny instead of thick and the majority of the container consisted of toppings and not pudding. I probably got 3-4 bites of pudding before I tossed it. The rest was all toppings. Nothing I can t make at home and probably better, including portioning. The prices are a bit high for what you get too. Unless you re okay paying high prices for just toppings.

This place was good the first time. Today was an entirely different experience though. We got there 20 minutes after they opened. We stood in line for about 10 minutes, which isnt too bad. But once we got to the counter and started ordering (6 pack) it turned into were out of that flavor. Out of that one too. And yes, that one too. So that left us all holding up a long line of people as we started playing the guessing game of which flavors they DID have today. It would be great if they would display what flavors theyre out of for the day instead of letting all these people wait in a long line before theyre told no. The line will only get longer as the day goes on.They have full menu screens flashing constantly while youre standing in line, kind of a big let down when 2 out of 6 people got the flavor they came for. Also, it was a very noticeable difference that the owner wasnt there as he usually is. The staff were very quiet and leaving 1 person in charge of telling the people at the counter the bad news when they began ordering. When the owner is there its loud and upbeat and a pleasant atmosphere. Total switch.

We heard of this delicious banana pudding place so we drove a little over an hour to try it and its the BEST we had ever tasted. Definitely worth the drive and looking forward to returning. There is a long line but they have good music playing and definitely worth the drive.

Just to preface my review, I have a huge sweet tooth and have tried many desserts and variations of them over the course of my life, and this place is by far one of the most delicious and unique crafters of dessert. I had never known in my life that pudding could taste so delicious. Years of believing store bought pudding was the only way pudding tasted. This has truly become one of my favorite desserts of all time. I have been steadily purchasing their pudding for over a year now and dont see myself stopping anytime soon!

I went on Fathers day June 18th at 5:45pm and they were closed. Their flyers and website said theyd close at 7pm. I left a comment on their Instagram asking for clarification of time and instead of addressing my comment - they DELETED it. I wasnt being critical. It was a question. It was not that serious - just answer the question, say you ran out, or you had to close early. As a new customer I was asking to ensure I wasnt missing something. Needless to say by doing that it showed me their communication seems poor, their hours seem like suggestions and they will not be getting my business.

We made the trip out from palm springs we made the mistake of not looking up the store hours. However we where lucky enough that the owner saw us and let us buy a couple puddings it was so amazing!! Super friendly and the kindest person with a great story behind him and this cute shop love loved loved it so much and would 100% recommend it. It was absolutely delicious and one of the best pudding Ive ever had truly a great a experience here fi your thinking about going definitely make a stop here will be recommending it to everyone I know. The vibe customer service is great! However Im not sure other than condensed milk what else they use in their product, but I gave my sister diarrhea, and it gave me so much gas in my back I was out for a day from work. It also is really sweet, if youre into that. Unfortunately we made an hour drive, but we wont be back.

My wife and I wanted to try it along with our kids. The staff was awesome and great with our kids. We came at the end of the day so they were out of some of the popular ones but they made it work for my daughter. THE OG pudding was fantastic. Its a unique experience that we enjoyed and we will definitely be back.

Seems like they re closed all the time even when it says they re open. Please update or fix your hours of operation. I can t write an honest review of this place because I ve been wanting to try it but they re ALWAYS closed when the site says they re open.

We visted Famous Pudn yesterday. We were not disappointed. First, the owner E.J III and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The decor and setting is very stylish and appealing. Lastly, the pudding is worth the wait and it is delicious. If you have a craving for your moms peach cobbler, this pudding hits the mark. It is not overly sweet and its packed with flavor- crust and all. The apple pie, and chocolate flavors are tasty as well. Famous Pudn is a welcome addition to Murrieta.

The pudding is good, but very pricy. Magnolia Bakery, who is very famous for their Banana Pudding, is about 1/2 the price of Famous PUDN. Magnolia Bakerys tastes a little better too.

Way too sweet! For my daughter and I. For that price I would most definitely think every pudding was dressed up picture perfect. I went at 3 so they were out of half the stuff . Bummer didn t get to try the strawberry cheesecake and might not ever. Couldn t even finish the rocky road taste like syrup to me. I give it a 3 because I don t have a sweet tooth and maybe others will like it. They have so many options. I would recommend asking them to top it off for you :)

Good location, very busy place, very creative desserts, the only complaint I have is that I was making sure that I was given the correct order and the young gentleman attitude was like I checked and its correct...if Im the customer, I am the one that WILL make sure it is correct, you dont have to tell me..and it wasnt, so it is not like I didnt trust you, I was sure the order wasnt complete, so please dont rush the customers and dont assume the order is correct, specially if youre that busy. Thank you.

Yesterday my family and I were looking for this spot after seeing it on IG and we were in for a surprise. They were very packed but they were able to get to everyones order quickly and once we got our order we were pretty happy we waited. OG pudding w crunch was amazing and so were the other flavors. They have a nice patio where you can grab a table and enjoy them. I definitely recommend Famous PUDN to anyone wanting to get great customer service and to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Awesome! The welcome and friendly personable experience are impressive, and put a smile on my face. Got 3, one to eat there and 2 to take home. They packed my to go with ice to make it down to Oceanside on my Harley. Lots of choices and options and soon coffee. I had the Banana Chocolate Crunch, and also grabbed OG Banana for me (just had for breakfast!) and Chocolate Oreo Toffee for a friend. Family owned and ran business, well worth the visit!

I went there for the first time yesterday with my fiancé and cousin. We tried the Banana flavor and the chocolate one. It was super delicious! Not only their pudding is great, but service is also really good! Everyone was super nice and friendly! Will be definitely going back!

Love this family owned business! Make sure you mention it s your first time so you can receive their customary welcome. Have your cameras ready! Thank me later. The gentleman who helped me were very friendly & welcoming. As you can see from the video, they give a run down of all of their items. They have other things for sale as well. Maybe ingredients to make your own pudding? I didn t pay much attention to that. Another customer got a free jar because it was her birthday. I got the peach cobbler the first visit. Remember it s pudding so don t expect all the crust in cobbler. Peaches could have been softer but it was really good. Got the vanilla on my second visit. Also good. Yesterday there was a young man training. He was very nice but his trainer was on the other side of the room correcting him on what he should be saying & the processes. I thought it would be better if he was next to the trainee & a bit more discreet with his critiques. He wasn t rude but it wasn t the most efficient way to train. I definitely recommend.

I dont usually review businesses, but this place sure is special. I have been on a mission to find what I consider to be the best banana pudding. I try banana pudding wherever I travel. I currently live in Palmdale and I visited Famous Pudn because I was in the area. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I finally found a banana pudding that I have no complaints about. I planned on getting one har, maybe two. I ended up buying the O.G., Caramel Oreo Toffee, and Cookie Monster. I tried each one as soon as I left. I drove a few blocks and the decided 3 jars was not enough. I went back for 3 more jars. O.G.: the perfect combination of Nilla wafers, pudding, and banana slices. Its a classic for a reason. Caramel Oreo Toffee: a nice layer of oreo crumbs at the bottom that manage to stay dry and give great texture when mixed with the pudding, and caramel and toffee bits as a layer at the top which complimented the pudding perfectly. Cookie Monster: blue vanilla pudding, a layer of oreo crumbs at the bottom, cookie chunks, and cookie dough. Wow! As perfect at the O.G. pudding was, this is the pudding I wish I had more of. It was incredibly delicious. Carrot Cake: my mother decided to try this one. She doesnt like pudding really, but loves carrot cake. Evidently, she ate her jar in one sitting. She walked in saying, Oh my God, Erin, this pudding is amazing. Amazing! I should have gotten more. Great find! She planned on making the jar last, but couldnt manage that. Guys, this place is dangerous. Stay away if you cant handle delicious dessert. I had no self-control with these jars. Famous Pudn is lucky Im not a local, otherwise Id practically stalk this place. Id pay a premium to be able to get this pudding shipped. The employees were over-the-moon friendly. The owner, especially, was amazingly kind. They even incentivize customers for buying a certain amount of jars at once and returning 10 jars for a free pudding. Take advantage, please! Since Im not local, Ill have to settle for 6 souvenir jars that Ill reuse forever. Thanks, Famous Pudn!

My husband loves their pudding flavors. I cant enjoy them myself, due to the cornstarch in the puddings. Theyre nicely put together. Just make sure to catch them when theyre open Thurs-Sun...I think.

Friendly staff, family owned, and super yummy. Playing some Bob Marley, ringing a little bell for first timers, 15% military discount, and rewards program for bringing back their jars. The pudding isnt too sweet which is awesome. Flavor was great and they decorate the jars so well! Definitely going to come back, the staff rocks.

Great first experience! The guys are so friendly and all cheered our first visit. The pudn is great with pieces of fruit and treats inside a little mason jar. A little pricey but well worth it. Wish it was in the heart of shopping centers in Murrieta or Temecula.

Pudding is one of my childhood favorite foods. The Snack Pack pudding cups were my jam! This locally owned father and son business takes the desert to the next level! They make and jar all the pudding in house and have really unique flavors. You can really tell that they have a passion for what they do. It shines through in every bite! I recommend having tea or coffee with your pudding, its very sweet. Plating looks phenomenal but not very practical. The jars that you order to take home dont include all the excessive extras on top. Which is a bummer because the carrot cake pudding in the display case came with a whole slice of cake on the top, but only crumbles of a slice in the jar. You get to keep the jar though, and if you bring back the jars, you get a free pudding!

Came here for the first time and tried two different puddings. I got the strawberry cheese cake pudding and The OG Banana pudding and they were both amazing! If you want a delicious treat or desert I highly suggest coming here!

This place is phenomenal! My husband tried the signature Banana pudn, and I had the Carrot cake pudn. On our 1st bite, we died and went to Heaven . Strongly recommend trying this slice of small business. You wont be disappointed and if you are, then youre crazy lol

An awesome concept for an underrepresented segment of the dessert market executed extremely well by a welcoming and friendly owner and staff. If you have any apprehensions about scarfing down some pudding (instead of ice cream or cookies or something), get over that and give this place a try - you wont be disappointed! I reckon itll be the tastiest way youve ever supported a local, Black-owned small business.

Went here about a week ago. We bought 3 different flavors (the original, the peach and the chocolate) for my husband, myself and my two boys to share. While the staff is really friendly and helpful, we didn t like anything we ordered. The pudding itself was really grainy, not smooth, and over priced for what you get. I like the concept, the area doesn t have anything similar in the area, but the pudding itself left nothing to be desired especially for how much they charge.

I never thought I would be such a huge fan of pudding, but after giving this place a try, I can say it s definitely now one of my favorite dessert spots. I had an afternoon sweet tooth and Famous Pudn did not disappoint! The original banana was phenomenal no wonder it s so popular. The Oreo chocolate pudding was also so delectable with just the right amount of crunch from the cookie bits. I also have to give a shout out to the young men working there. Top notch personalities with contagious, warm smiles. Can t wait to go back and try all the other flavors!

Ive only been here twice, and I am already planning my third visit. I love the flavors and the originality of these delicious puddings. This is my new favorite dessert place. A perfect place to come by on a hot day for a nice treat. Any critiques I have would be waiting for the rest of their signature flavors. Im hoping theyll be able to bring out their flavor creme brulee. I think everyone should give this place a chance, we should support our Mom and Pop shops!

OMG! Came upon this place yesterday totally by accident. Great atmosphere, excellent customer service...and can we talk about that Banana PudN? My mom makes the best from scratch, and this place out did hers! From the presentation to the fresh bananas and wafers to that awesome, marvelous, flavorful last scrape of the jar and last lick of the spoon, its THE.BEST.BANANAPUDN.E.V.E.R. As we were leaving, the guy at the counter laughed and said, See you tomorrow. If they werent closed on Mondays, hed be right!
