Pancakes were pretty good. But the potatoes were bland. The iced coffee was not worth $5 at all. The sourdough bread was mediocre. The service was pretty atrocious. We went in during rush hour and they messed up my order twice. And the food took a while to be prepared. Spent over $70 trying their food and was not impressed enough to go back.

I would not recommend this restaurant. I ordered the breakfast melt which came with a side of potatoes. Both the sandwich and potatoes were very bland and unseasoned. We also got a side of banana pancakes which were decent but they are only sold by themselves. Definitely not worth the $40 we paid.

I personally don t think the food was worth the price at all. We got the breakfast melt a Hawaiian coffee and a stack of banana pancakes. The melt was just eggs cheese and bacon with a side of potatoes. Very, very bland. The eggs had no salt or pepper and the potatoes didn t either. The pancakes were mid with just slices of banana cooked in them. We paid $40 for everything not including the tip. I didn t finish my food and ended up going somewhere else to get something to fill me up. We were so disappointed and regret coming here. The other food sounds good but I don t think I would give anything else on the menu a chance. I would suggest Amy s cafe on magnolia. Their food is always on point and the prices are great as well as the service.

My only issue was with the automatic tip. My bill was 20 when I swiped it came up to 23 and change. I be wish they would be more upfront with it. It s not a tip it s a service charge let s be honest. It s not about the price it s about being honest

I loved this place! Recommend by a true friend to let me in on this little secret. Diverse menu, I had the huevos rancheros, and my friend encouraged me to try some Hawaiian pancakes that blew my mind. I wish I had taken photos. You have to just check it out on your own. The food and service were great. Usually, when a place has a lot of different items on the menu, theyre good at some of them, but not all of them. Not this place. Everything we tried was awesome. I look forward to going back and trying more.

This place seems wildly overrated. The staff is great but food not so. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing Im not into Hawaiian BBQ breakfast stuff or moco locos. The bacon was obliterated, it was basically bacon jerky. Eggs were alright because I always order them over easy or over medium, hard to screw it up. Biscuits and gravy, meh. Actually thats the one thing I ate that was different than other people at the table and wouldnt you know it, I had an upset stomach later. So dont expect much.

Review №22

Let me start by saying I generally only write reviews to praise places we love. This place was so underwhelming that it drove me to write a review. I sat at a table with my 2 year old and newborn while I waited for my husband to order and had an employee with a disgruntled attitude tell me the tables were reserved and I couldn t sit there until after I ordered. When I explained that my husband was ordering, she begrudgingly allowed us to stay there. The coffee was decent, the orange juice was fresh squeezed. That s about where any positives end. My husband got pancakes, eggs, and sausage. The sausage was the most flavorless I ve ever tasted. I got the Kahlua Benedict. I m not sure how you make pork flavorless, but it was. This meal was honestly only passable as breakfast in the fact that it provided calories. But the flavor was absent throughout. The prices are not cheap and the servings were not reflected in that. I ve been wanting to try this restaurant, but I guess we can check it off the list as been there, done that. We won t be back.

Been going here since it opened. But so disappointed lately. First of all they dont offer gluten free any longer, which limits the menu. My omlett was without taste and overcooked. Then we had to listen to constant yelling from the kitchen. It was in Spanish and he was yelling out orders. It was so annoying and non stop.

Breakfast place with Hawaiian flavor. Overall, the food was decent, but my French toast was dry and the $6 side of bacon was similar to beef jerkey. Both overcooked. Prices were too high for what it was. Who charges $6 for a small side of bacon?

Horrible. Ordered food sat down and it took forever. The waitress came out and told me there was no longer katsu chicken available so I subbed for chicken fried steak. Wow it was disgusting . Couldn t eat it. She told me the steak was frozen first. No wonder. It was gamey and felt spoiled. Then the loco moco . That tasted like oil and grease. The only good thing was that the waitress was so sweet . She refunded me my plate. I ll try again another time

So, normally we have high praise for Scramblers and take house guests there when breakfast out is the plan. Visited there on 10/22 and no one finished their plate. Leaving i asked our guest if their food was good and they said it had an after taste they werent expecting. And I detected a foul after taste in my water, so I drank my Starbucks coffee instead. My chilaquiles was drowned with ranchero sauce and had more pork fat chunks than meat. My wife had complaints too, but the point is made, this last trip was an expensive disappointment. The people are always nice and service excellent, but I think there is a clogged water filter and different cook in the kitchen. UPDATE: We just risked another trip to Scramblers and decided to try a lunch item. They are redeemed! Gotta say the mac salad... best in town! Parking: Get there early on weekends and take the Prius because it is a tight parking lot for big trucks.

Oh my goodness what a delicious surprise! We had to drop something off in the area and I did a quick search for Starbucks and saw this was next door. I am so glad for this happy coincidence! The place is diner style with outdoor and indoor seating. The menu is fantastic, with lots of tasty choices. Its order at the register and then sit down. We got the Kalua pork Benedicts, half Portuguese sausage half Spam Loco Moco plate and, the most delectable, delicious french toast I have had in 10 years, no joke. It was crunchy peanut butter and banana French toast as a special and let me tell you, this was beautiful. The crunch and texture, the blend of flavors and the perfect level of sweetness. I would drive all the way back to Norco just to have this again. SO. GOOD. The iced chocomilk was solid. Overall, great breakfast/brunch spot with Hawaiian flavors and fantastic service.

Scramblers is my go to breakfast spot! Its nothing fancy, but I love how casual and homey it feels. The service Ive had has been amazing every time Ive gone. Parking can be half the battle, the other can be the line to order on busier days. My favorite order are the oreo cookies & cream waffles (& I dont even like chocolate that much), but the ube waffles are good too. We usually get their smoothies too-- theyre chunky and my favorite is the piña colada one. Overall, its super solid & a great place to go to with your family or friends. Parking: Shares a parking lot with a lot of other establishments. Its very hard to find parking that is close to the restaurant during busy times. You may have to park further down in the lot/area Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu. They get smaller portions (half of the original one) & a choice of a side (like bacon) if I remember correctly. Its frequented by lots of families Wheelchair accessibility: Since parking is hard to get to, you may have to travel a bit further to access the ramp available on their side of the lot. They have seating outside with movable chairs & the some of the seating inside offers this too.

Cashiers dont care at all! I hate feeling like Im being taken advantage of. I am no Karen but this is my origin story. New to Norco had come in previous and was charged $11 for eggs and hashbrowns. Came in another time and found out its $8 for scrambled eggs/2x pancakes/2× protien or substitute for hashbrowns. Why doesnt the cashier just say something and mention its cheaper for the near exact same thing with more versatility? Not to mention the cashier has no enthusiasm and seems overall displeased to be there, quiet with no eye contact. I understand its just a job but at the same time if you dont want to smile then at least be less cold? Find new staff. Not everyone is cold but its the odd one out that makes it so obviously displeasing. TLDR; Good food. Not so good personable skills. Feels like I got taken advantage of.

Ok accidents happen, I totally understand that, but No issued apologies or even Hey let me make you some food On The House Nothing! I yet to talk to Ovida and see what she does or says about the matter. We ended up at Heros In Riverside, and had lunch instead of breakfast. Lol We had two times food come to our table and we said Its Not ours! Wish the people at Scramblers did that. Bella was the waitress that really didnt care. Well weve been wanting to try this place for awhile... not totally disappointed, however, the food was just okay. Maybe it was just me, my taste buds were expecting more and better from this place. Chilaquiles had what tasted like nacho cheese Doritos, Portuguese sausage lacked flavor and pancakes were soggy in the middle perhaps due to too much loaded on the center of the stack. Id suggest pancakes plain, the potatoes were good and probably another meat, corned beef hash or turkey sausage. Be sure to ask for scrambled well as they cook more toward the runny side.

I very rarely want to give a place more than 5 stars but this place was amazing. Welcoming atmosphere, check. Friendly servers, check. Delicious food, check. Friendly guests in a good mood, check! We got a coffee, which was good and an iced Mexican cocoa with oat milk that was divine!!! Hubby got the huevos rancheros and said they were well worth it. I got the breakfast sandwich with spam and it was salty and delicious. But the best thing were the Oreo pancakes. They were crispy and delicious without being too sweet . The wait may take a while but the food is worth it.

Gross. My sandwich had rotten lettuce, old mushy tomato, Cheap turkey, and the fries were so salty it was ridiculous . My friend got the breakfast burrito and wasnt a fan. Yuck!

Different kind of restaurant, but the food is great. Spinach omelette was very yummy. PLEASE stock regular dairy coffee creamer...like 1/2 and 1/2. Not a fan of regular Coffeemate creamers or any of the flavored creamers. Staff was able to find me some regular milk and I was appreciative. Id go back when in the area.

Good food & friendly service. Veggie omelet was smaller then expected. Hubby loves their eggs Benedict. The Norco fried rice is usually really good but the portion seemed smaller this time.
