Ralphs offers thousands of quality food and household products from your favorite brands and companies. From fresh produce, meats and seafood to dairy, home goods and pharmaceutical needs, Ralphs is your one stop for savings.
Large market kept up well. Decent bakery and fish market. Large wine selection. Staff not enthusiastic to help you find things. Most of them just seem tired and dissatisfied. I get it; it's just a job, but they just seem defeated, compared with the staff at Trader Joe's, who are always lighthearted and friendly.
I searched for cotton swabs for 10 mins before asking someone, who handed me a pamphlet so I could search for them myself, again. It indicated they were on aisle 7, where I had already been looking. I finally found them stacked up on the top shelf, 7 1/2' feet above the ground. I'm 6'0. After doing some Olympic stretches, I made a running jump and was able to knock a few off the shelf.
Management is cheap about staffing cashiers at the registers, so be prepared to use the self-checkout.

This used to be a great market. The people there are all very nice and helpful. Then Kroger decided to cut back on the hours of their employees. I shop later in the day when it’s less crowded. Most of the time there’s no checker only self check out. The produce section has not been maintained. Several items are either missing or poor quality that I would not buy. Please don’t yell at the people who work there. This is not their choice. I will try Vons’s next-door. Their digital coupons are a pain in the butt. I’m already a member. Why do I have to do more work? Pretty sure you wanna offer the specials, but hope people don’t take it. You ruin the store to make yourself more profit . When people stop shopping there you’ll see your profit go down maybe then you’ll put more people back to work and make it the quality market that he used to be.

This is my go to Ralph’s mostly late at night (open till 1am) or early morning.
Manager Joey & his staff are very attentive & helpful.
Good variety of everything (great bakery & produce good overall, good sales on chicken & soft drinks, gift cards & greeting cards, good variety of flowers for all occasions ) but prices do keep rising.
After10pm you will usually need to self check out - no worries staff is there to help.
Need to do a Cash App transaction go before 9pm.
AllPoints ATM, a Coin Exchange machine, & a CA scratcher purchase machine all nearby.
Great Parking

I came in for a few sandwiches for lunch and ended up walking out after being treated like a thief by “Mita”. I came when I was in work clothes, I guess she chose to discriminate against me since I probably didn’t look like I belonged. I’ve never felt so judged in my life. I’ve never stolen a thing before. I’m on my lunch break working just like Mita is. But just because I wasn’t dressed as nice as her or the other customers, or the right color of skin for her liking, she treated me like a common thief. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a store before in my life. I’ve never felt so judged for just trying to buy lunch. I’m going to call corporate because employees shouldn’t be allowed to make a customer feel that uncomfortable.
Edit: I added a picture of the lunch I bought, and paid for, right after I left from the Vons right across the street. It also came out to $14 instead of $27. So half the price, and no judgy employees to degrade you in public. Thank you Vons.

Bought chicken tenders from the deli like 10 mins ago, severely dry, no flavor, borderline inedible, its really hard to botch flour or batter based fried chicken tenders yet somehow they achieved it. I don't understand...so gross 7.99 per pound of nothing. Yall need better deli cooks yikes.

Dan a manager at this store showed AWESOME customer service! He went above and beyond and made us feel like even in a suburb of LA one can have kind of a family like feel at a local grocery store. Not exaggerating at all when I say my wife and felt like a million dollars when we left the store today. Thanks Dan! I’ll never forget it.

I have been shopping at the Agoura Hills Ralph’s for over 8 years now. I purchased a watermelon that cost me $20 when I cut the watermelon and tasted it I was extremely disappointed it had no flavor! And it wasn’t the first time this had occurred I happen to really like watermelon and buy it often but this time I was done paying these kind of prices and then throwing it in the trash! I went to the lady manager and explained the situation and she told me to go home and bring her the watermelon like I was lying to her! FYI I have never returned anything to a grocery store. I went and got the whole cut watermelon and brought it back to the store waited for her to finish with her customers where she then asked another employee to refund me the money, I went to the other employee with my receipt he asked me for my debit card, my loyalty card number and to input my pin I did as he asked, and I don’t know what happened, but he went and made a phone call while I was standing there then came back, asked me to put my debit card in again didn’t ask for my pin number This time gave me a paper and said it was done. The following day when I looked at my account, I saw that the refund had not been put into my account. I called the store after holding for over a half hour. I spoke to another manager. I think his name was Kevin. I explain the situation and he said that sometimes it takes 24 hours for the refund to go through, depending on your bank, if it didn’t go through by the next day to come into the store. The next day I wanted to get some shrimp that had gone on sale beginning that day, the butcher told me that they were all out of the shrimp even though the sale had just begun on that day. He told me I could call another store and see if they had it. I was standing in line to speak to the manager because the money was still not in my account and I called the Westlake store who told me they had the shrimp and I could come in to get it. It was the store the manager who I originally dealt with I told her what took place and what the manager had told me and she told me that I needed to contact their accountant that there was nothing she could do to help me! Wrote down the accountants name on top of the receipt no phone number . I left the store. I went to the Westlake store to get the shrimp and the butcher tells me that he made a mistake and that they are all out of the shrimp also! The following day I called to speak to a manager when again the refund was not in my account After 15 minutes of holding a woman answer the phone I told her I wanted to speak to the store manager she left me holding for an additional 45 minutes when she picked up the line again and asked if there was something she could help me with I told her yes that I had been on hold for 45 minutes waiting for the manager and she hung up on me. I have never had to deal with such horrible customer service in my life from so many different employees!! I shop at that store because it is right near my house, but I will never shop at that store again or any Ralphs for that matter. They are never helpful in any way and this experience has left me never wanting to shop at A Ralph’s store again!

This review is solely about the manger on duty today 5/1/24 at 9am. What I overheard this woman (with long hair in a ponytail) say to her employers was disgusting. In the 7 min time frame that I was there. I heard her verbally attack and demean 3 employees. No one deserved to be spoken to like that!

I love this store! When I moved out here in 1982, (All the way from Liberty Canyon!) it was a tough choice between you guys and the Calabasas one, BUT I quickly gave in when that huge mall was built AND their management came here! Needless to say I really have Never had a bad experience here. I can think back about so many times youve shown kindness to my kids & me as well. Over 40 years just moving has become a painful challenge sometimes and Ive noticed your associates often help me manage things in subtle ways without being asked or arrange to be available sometimes like a genie materialize in the produce sprinklers mist. I just wanted to let you how much your integrity & kindness are always very much appreciated. thank you So Very Much, Martha Rising Rosson

Waited for at least 10 minutes in the deli dept with NOT one of the 2 guys that were working there even acknowledged me! One was wiping down the sushi area, and the other man dumping the trashcans! It was around 3pm, not closing time or anything, I finally yelled out is there anyone working with waiting customers in this area? The older man mumbled something, and I left without buying anything! Drove across the Street to Vons!

Ralphs is a serial abuser of understaffing their store. About a year ago from the date of writing this review, I noticed that this Ralphs shifted from staffing their checkers properly to consistently understaffing their checkers and leaning on self check out. It is not uncommon to wait ten minutes to check out. Today was the worst Ive seen, it took twelve minutes for the manager to call for additional checkers, and an additional 5 once a line opened up. Stop cheaping out and staff your store properly or you will continue to lose more customers. As a lifetime customer, I will no longer be shopping here

While I was checking out,, she grabbed my arm and shoved me out of the way to see the pay screen. Terribly AGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR and NOT FOLLOWING COVID PROTOCOLS. So much for everything you have about covid-19 safety protocols and employee training on your website. This employee needs training! This is just so upsetting in so many ways!

I had a very disappointing experience this evening with the store manager. She turned her back on me while I was trying to get her help to resolve an error an employee made. As a 10+ year customer I was blown away be the sheer lack of professionalism and care she showed. If she is a product of Ralphs training, that is a sad reflection on the company.

The staff were kind and helpful, when I could find them, in actuality other customers were of greater assistance. I had heart surgery recently, so in order to do my shopp6, I utilized one of the stores electric carts. The stores layout is such that it is VERY difficult to navigate with the provided scooter, and I can only imagine a wheelchair. Some areas of the store were completely inaccessible, which was disappointing. The end caps took up enough of the aisle space that it was ridiculously difficult to not run I to them when trying to turn from one aisle to the next. Im not really likely to return.
