Excellent place to grab some beers, cocktails, and pizza with a friend. Laid back, but good food. Would come back. Vegetarian options: Most (though not all) of the pizzas are vegetarian, makes for a good healthy mix for a variety of personal preferences. Though Im not vegetarian, I got the burrata and basil pizza and was quite satisfied.

Have been coming here once a week for eleven years. Their pizza is THAT good, and its one of the only places in Pasadena you can pair it with a Craftsman 1903 lager. Match made in heaven. Vegetarian options: A large variety of both vegetarian & vegan options. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of tasty vegan and gluten free options available. Parking: Validated parking allows plenty of time to enjoy a meal without paying to park. Kid-friendliness: One of the few places that allow big kids to partake as well Wheelchair accessibility: Underground parking structure with elevator. Ground floor restaurant entrance without the hassle of ramps.

The chicken was horrendously overcooked. I would say it spent a solid 5 minutes too long in the fryer. For a $30 plate of fried chicken, it is really hard to look the other way at something prepared so poorly. You can see in the photo where it is blackened by simply being over cooked, I really dont know how this left the kitchen. We ordered two of these plates for our group and both came out the same way. We didnt bother sending it back to the kitchen, standards this low are not worth your money and time. There is much better food in the area for less. The service is great and the atmosphere is fine, maybe this was an off day for the kitchen so your experience may vary but Im not rolling the dice again here.

A Hidden Gem for Deviled Eggs While The Luggage Room is known for its delicious pizza and other offerings, their deviled eggs are the real show-stopper. Perfectly cooked, creamy, and packed with flavor, these little bites are a must-try. The friendly staff and excellent service add to the overall experience. If youre in the area, make sure to stop by and indulge in their culinary masterpiece.

Have picked up Vegeterian(avacado) pizza from here. We have got pepperoni slice on the pizza even though the order details clearly specifies to make it vegetarian. We did not expect this based on high ratings for this restaurant. The Avacado pizza is decent. Highly Recommend to be careful while ordering vegetarian food from this Restaurant.

We hosted an event in the luggage room and it went off flawlessly, thanks to Kim and the team that organized and managed everything. The food was great, everyone raved about the pizzas and bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates, but the olive oil cake might have been the star of the show. Great cocktails and beer selection also. Would recommend for hosting an event or just grabbing food and drinks.

I was really pleased with this spot. The food was great and so were the drinks. The only issue I had was how long we waited to be seated. However once seated, service was awesome. If we didnt wait outside so long in 90+ degree weather. This place would get a 5 out of 5. We plan on returning.

I have been a loyal patron of The Luggage Room Pizzeria & La Grande Orange for many years. Today, I decided to visit the Otis Bar around 4:45 p.m. to meet up with a friend whom I havent seen in over 6 years. The experience started well as the waiter greeted me with friendliness and courtesy. While waiting for my friend for 10-15 minutes, the waiter introduced a female waitress who seemed quite pleasant. I informed her right away that I was waiting for someone and would be placing an order before leaving. When my friend arrived, she promptly asked him if he would like to order a drink. However, he requested a little more time to decide. Surprisingly, she returned in less than 5 minutes. Initially, I didnt think much of it, assuming she was simply being attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately, that wasnt the case. At the end of our meal, she treated my friend kindly and even processed his credit card without any issues. However, when it was my turn to pay, she displayed a negative attitude, handed me the payment machine, walked away and I had to process my credit card. I couldnt determine the exact reason behind her behavior, but it is important to treat everyone with respect and dignity regardless of personal circumstances. After my friend left, I had a positive experience while waiting for my ride. The bartender was incredibly kind, courteous, and respectful. I couldnt comprehend what was going on with the waitress, but I sincerely hope that things improve for her. It is unfair to take out frustrations on unsuspecting guests.

Food was okay, not really worth the price. I am more annoyed with the waiter . We were seated, and asked if there were allergies in our party, we said yes, We were told to avoid certain dishes and that was that. Felt like we would be accommodated well. Five minutes later the table next to us was seated. Again, Any allergies?, this guest responded, None, zero. The waiter responded, thank goodness, my favorite response, its such a hassle to deal with people with allergies, I have to check recipe ingredients, and the back hates me when I have to ask them to make any tweaks, its a real hassle. Cool dude we are 2 feet away and heard all that, so sorry that one of us had allergies and made your life soooo awful... Ridiculous. The ambience of this place is nice and the guy who was our server was great HOWEVER the food was not worth it at all. It was bland. Not tasty. I never say this in reviews but it really did suck. Great presentation but no flavor. I have no clue what the hype of this place is except maybe the architecture but other than that do not waste your money on the food. We ordered the Margherita pizza, mac n cheese kids meal, guac and chips, deviled eggs, tuna appetizer, and the salmon plate. The pizza was not bad but not great. Needed more seasoning. The mac n cheese lacked salt. It was so bland, I had to put salt in it. Even the boxed mac n cheese is better than this. The salmon plate my boyfriend had was extra fishy in his opinion and was not spectacular. The tuna appetizer was okay. The guac and chips were decent. So beware and do not eat here unless you like bland food and a bill of $100+ to go along with it. The server was the best thing from this restaurant though.

First time here, heard nothing but good things. Parking can be tricky, it is connected to a parking structure as there really is no street parking, they just combined with the restaurant next door so the entrance was a little tricky to find initially, but worth it. Not a long wait for a Friday night which was great, family friendly with kids there, someone even had a dog on the patio. Full bar. Tons of history for the building, amazing staff, friendly and helpful. Good size menu, portions were a little small, but tons of flavor and great recommendations from the staff. Would recommend and return. The restaurant had a good vibe to it overall, food and drinks were good but not great. Service lacked when the host and another employee discussed how they were going to seat a few parties (including mine) when their servers were rejecting tables. The half-booth we sat in had crumbs on the chairs and booth and the table barely looked wiped. Our server was nice and prompt when she was there which is very appreciated after hearing their coworkers make a fuss earlier. I wasnt blown away by the food but it was better than other places.i just expected a bit more for the pricetag. Overall I think it depends on time and crew on shift that can make or break the experience. Hopefully others have a better experience than me and my group.

My friend and I were a bit stressed because we only had an hour. We shared everything: the wrapped bacon dates, the deviled eggs, kale and quinoa salad and a mushroom pizza. Everything was delicious and the service prompt! If we had more time and didnt need to drive, we would have ordered cocktails! The noise level was medium to loud, but this is expected on a busy Saturday lunch/ brunch hour. If you park in the building, they will validate!

There is an underground parking lot that the restaurant can validate the parking. I have been coming to Luggage Room, and just realized that the Luggage Room is combining with the restaurant and the bar next door. There were complimentary sea salt chocolate chip cookies at the waiting area. They also share the same menu. I was seated at the bar, and ordered a gladiator pizza, and side of fries. The cookies were soft and tasty, but it could be a little more towards the salty side. The pizza is a thin crust, but the dough was a little tough to chew. The fries was flavorful. Server was friendly and services were fast! I came here for pizza, but the pizza was not too impressive, so 3 stars.

That interaction just completely ruined my appetite and then trying to justify their actions by confronting me after the meal even though I had already put it all behind me and still trying to make it seem like I was the one who should have gotten more information before even showing up and next time I need to be more clear and pay more attention because it wasnt their fault I was left waiting for my party for nearly half an hour even though they were already there and I was told they werent.

This place is one of the few that has the Pasadena Brewing Craftsman on tap so that alone puts it up top. Still, this amazingly delicious place has a great atmosphere, attentive servers, and one of my favorites in the Pasadena area. Food is delicious and fresh and dont forget its sister restaurant the Luggage Room right next door for bomb pizza! Update 2024: while they have closed the luggage room area, all the pizza is still available in the Orange Cafe side and its still delicious! Vegetarian options: There are several veg options including even a vegan chili option if thats what youre looking for (and the chili is delicious!!) Definitely a place that can accommodate multiple needs. Parking: Parking is underground in the same place as the parking for the gold line. Kid-friendliness: Theres a kids menu and they have high chairs available if necessary. Very open to having older kids even sit at the bar if you so desire.

They both got a stomach virus (norovirus or rotavirus, we didn t test but according to urgent care and our pediatrician it was one of those). I got the stomach virus later and my wife got sick too. I called them to let them know and they said they take this seriously but didn t really care. I will never in my life eat at this place again. I hate that I paid to get all my family sick because there was food contamination and virus in this place. The food was below average. The Mac and cheese was actually terrible. We had a cheeseburger, Texas style chili and a Caesar salad. The burger and chili were good, the fries were tasty... The salad didnt taste good, it was bitter and, to be honest, far too expensive. Salad, parmesan, sauce and the pieces of bread, unfortunately no chicken breast. I thought the service took a bit long, I also found rice beer for 11 dollars too expensive, there were no free refills for drinks. If you dont eat salad, its a very nice place for Los Angeles.

Very large restaurant with great pizzas and other food items. The bar area seems to be a very popular meeting place Parking: We parked in the underground parking and if you validate your ticket at the restaurant you still have to $1.00

Pretty place inside. Nothing special outside. Not many people when we arrived but for some reason our server was constantly disappearing. The food was OK, but it wont make me come back running anytime soon.

Allergen community beware! Their kids lemonade contains egg whites (??) My friends son had to use his epipen and then took a trip to the ER even after alerting the staff of his allergies. They don t seem to be bothered or apologetic even after it s been brought to their attention.

Based off the other positive reviews, I hope I came on an off day. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were seated immediately. It seemed only one waiter was experienced and training everyone else, as the staff was clearly in disarray. Things were delivered to wrong tables and you could hear waitstaff asking questions in front of patrons. One drink was forgotten (and when we asked, two different servers brought us the drink due to miscommunication). We were never checked on after receiving our food and had to flag someone down for the check. We came at an off time in the afternoon, so it wasn t even busy. The atmosphere was nice, but the food was truly a disappointment. It was one of the worst meals I ve had in LA. One of their top items, the Georgia crispy chicken, was bad on all fronts. It tasted dry and old and you could tell it was fried in oil that needed to be changed. The herbs and spices they mention on the menu were nowhere to be tasted. I ate half the chicken thigh and didn t even touch the wing, it was that bad. For a dish that cost $30, I was very disappointed. My girlfriend ordered a tuna taco platter that was also underwhelming. You could see the seasoning on the tuna but couldn t taste it, which leads us to believe their spices are old and need to be replaced. The mac and cheese and pizza were solid, however. Unfortunately, I can t recommend due to the poor service and terrible entrees. It could be worth it if you just come for the pizza, but as it stands, it was one of the worst value propositions I ve had at an LA restaurant

Hubby and I had lunch at this restaurant today and everything was fresh, well presented and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the freshly baked homemade English muffins we purchased an extra package to go. Also recommend the deviled eggs the best I ve ever eaten, bean vegetable burger and prime rib dip sandwich. In addition to delicious food staff members were helpful and professional in every respect. Ambience delightful with warm feeling of customized old world train station where food is carefully prepared with thoughtfulness and love. Clearly we had a very satisfying experience and recommend to family and friends. Vegetarian options: Entrees. Sides. Salads.

Margherita pizza was great. Restaurant layout is confusing. Is it one restaurant or three restaurants? Is it luggage room or Legrande Orange?

Have you been on the Metro? The rear entrance of this cafe faces the Delmar stop in Pasadena. The cafe is an eclectic blend of interior decors. Its comfortable atmosphere makes it suitable for any attire. The food is served in healthy flavorful proportions. There is indoor seating. A covered open air, full service bar is a dining bonus. The service is welcoming. The prices are competitive. Their signature drinks are included in their happy hour. There is a lunch menu.

Best pizza in Pasadena! The farmer s market pizza is delicious every time with perfect, crispy crust and fresh veggies. You can sit next door at the brewery and order the pizzas to go! The fries are best fresh, don t let them sit too long.

Great food, love it. Unfortunately the pricing seems inconsistent, little things like paying more money for drinks than advertised add up if you plan to eat with friends. I recommend getting the pizza to go, any deal they have isn t going to save you that much when you factor in hidden mark ups. On multiple occasions I have notified the staff that they are charging more for drinks than advertised (they feigned ignorance on every occasion, like it s their menu and they don t know it?).

Their pizza was amazing! A little bit on the oily end but definitely some of the best authentic pizza I ve had in California. You can also grab food from there and head over to Stone brewing for a drink. They re right next to each other. Also, it s in a convenient location (as soon as you get off at the Del Mar metro station). Check it out if you re in the area!

This place is huge with options to dine inside or sit in one of their 3-4 patios. They have solid pizzas and I love that they have Buy 1 Get One for $5 on entrees as well as happy hour at the same time $5 drinks . We got 4 different kinds of pizzas but my favorite was the avocado one, packed with flavors. The staff was very friendly, the food was solid and the drinks were strong overall, a wholesome experience! Definitely going there again Vegetarian options: Many veg options available!
