This place is actually great, it is better than fast food with dine in options that make it feel like a homey all day diner. The burgers are simple yet delicious, reminds me of In n Out but better. The prices are very reasonable too and the fries portions are huge. Staff are very friendly and nice. The interior is also extremely clean. Would definitely recommend.

Great nearby place for diner food. We enjoyed our club sandwich and chicken club. The combo came with fries (standard diner fries) and a drink. The people that worked there were very nice and came by a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Good choice for a cheap meal on a rainy day.

Amazing.... The quality and quantity of food for the price is incredible with fast and friendly service. We had the French toast with eggs and bacon. We also had another plate with hash browns sausage and toast with eggs. We paid a little over 20 bucks for all that!
I will be recommending this to my friends and family, and I will be returning for more!

Four stars across the board; only because there’s always a little wiggle room for improvement. But seriously, this could just as easily be a five-star review.

This is my third time eating at Tom’s - and the FIRST time I’ve remembered to take a picture of my food! Doh!

First trip, I had a Double Cheeseburger with fries - and it was really tasty! My girlfriend got a Cheeseburger and fries as well. There are so many fries, I recommend just getting one and sharing; we ended up not finishing ours - but the were beautifully seasoned and just the right texture; crunchy on the outside, soft inside.

Next up, I had a Carne Asada Burrito, and it was really good! Big for such a reasonable price, and the meat was seasoned very nicely. Another solid hit!

Finally, tonight I did the drive-thru, which is clean and very well lit. I ordered Tom’s Burrito, which is like their deluxe breakfast burrito, and it was super flavorful, everything tasted fresh, and the cheese was fantastic - melted, gooey, stringy, and awesome. They give you a side of salsa (they did with the Carne Asada Burrito as well), but ask for two - one isn’t enough to get the job done. The salsa is tasty, too - not very spicy at all.

Service has been friendly and fast each visit, and when it’s slow enough, the staff even comes to your table and asks if you want drink refills, etc.

The verdict is Tom’s is a great choice in Pasadena and we’ve not been disappointed by any of our choices thus far! The only bummer is we’ve lived here for years and just “found” this place in the last couple of weeks.

Country omelette was really good. Smothered in sausage gravy, tasty and fresh.

The burger was pretty basic but with a good flavor fitte the meat.

I would definitely eat here again. The menu is huge.

This was my first time at Toms Burgers. I had the Huevos A La Mexicana. My wife has Chiliquiles. Both dishes were delicious. The service was great. I will definitely go back again.

Skip if you re vegetarian, they ll charge you to substitute and won t give any options for a meat swap. As if potatoes cost more than meat. I asked if it was free when I called to order and they said yes and then tried to charge $1.99 after I wasted my time walking out there.

And when I couldnt get exactly what I wanted, he added extras for me without charging me. I can tell they just want their customers to be happy. Great place! I really don t see what people like about this place. Breakfast here is not it. The first time it was bad, I thought okay I ll give it another chance. The huevos rancheros always have undercooked potatoes and no flavor. Coffee is weak. Overall, this place is over priced.

Not on the menu but they will make you a great dish of chilaquiles. The best just wanted to add something I saw today and they make everything fresh to order... Update*** Hahahahaha the chilaquiles finally got into the menu!!! Congrats guys I hope a lot of ppl get that bc they gggreat...but today I went back and its been a while, Ive been really busy, and most of my work is not out in pasadena no mo so its been a while since Ive stopped by....anyways today I got the taco salad bowl. I was not expecting it like it was going to be. I thought like everywhere else there was gonna be that hit ot miss ground beef but nope not here. They ask beef or chicken and of course I said beef and well they slap a whole steak cut into slices on top. I was like woooord! Please be good and the steak was juicy soooooo soft and well once more these guys amazed me. Stop by and get one of these I took a pic. I went through the drive thru and ordered a hot link and cheese sandwich with onions. This is something that I order often but this particular time I noticed that the price was different from what i was use to paying. I asked why did the price changed she then proceeded to tell that onions added is a $1:50 extra. I Dam near fainted. Plus when I ordered she did not disclose that information. Im very disappointed with Toms shame on them. I know longer go there anymore

I ordered a breakfast burrito and coffee to go and paid and stepped to the side to wait for my food 10 minutes went by then 20 minutes and I was standing there in front I was never acknowledged after paying for my food while other guests that arrived and ordered after I ordered received their food I got one of the guys attention and asked him about my order he checked and said that my order was just sitting there the whole time young man didn t even apologize I asked for my refund took him another 10 minutes but I finally got my refund young man had a Philadelphia Eagles hat and hoodie on very unprofessional

Came here for breakfast via drive thru had the breakfast special biscuits gravy choice meat and a coffee should have been charged 13.76 paid by credit card but was latter charged 73.76 The manager would not help said no this problem but mine. You can see it should have been 13.76 and the 7 was punched in maybe by accident maybe not . The manager seems to be familiar with the credit card process as he told me the process but still would not help.My family always comes here we met one of the owners before and he seemed like an honest person however times have changed and we will no longer come here and recommend you to save every receipt and check every receipt never pay by card as they are not trustworthy would give a zero star if I could

Honestly a really funny place. The menu is hilariously hard to decipher, but the prices were reasonable, there was a lot of booth seating available even on Saturday morning, the food was pretty ok and they made it fast and offered to refill my coffee. Would definitely stop by again

A very good friend of mine suggested we meet here for lunch. Hes kind of a regular, I found out when one of the guys behind the counter came over and shook hands with him. I live in Palmdale, my neighborhood Toms is #25. I was visiting my folks in Pasadena & tried their neighborhood Toms #31. It was the same as my Toms in Palmdale. Consistancy is the KEY word. GOOD FOOD, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE & GREAT ATMOSPHERE. Check TOMS #31 out, if you havent already!

I ve been here a few times after being disappointed by Lucky Boy s up the street. The food is good, staff is friendly, service is a little slow, but overall positive experiences. They have drive thru and enough parking. Prices are OK. Not any more expensive than other similar restaurants. What I liked is that they gave me the condiments I wanted before I asked for them. And this one is weird, but they gave me like the perfect ice-to-soda ratio lol Don t really have anything bad to say

Friends have suggested this place to me, and me and a club are here. The price was very massive so I just got one double burger for $6.79 didn t get a combo because it will make the price to $14. Got the burger it was pretty big but first bite I finish the burger and I am surprise on how good the burger is. Wish the price was a little low for a combo tho. Overall the place was pretty good

For the management!! This morning (Sunday) around 8:40am I left the Pasadena location in tears! I ve been going here for the past year almost regularly. Angel the manager is awful! He lies to preserve his ego. The rest of the staff are soooo kind and amazing, but are scared of him. I ordered a half order of French toast with 3 bacon and 2 eggs over easy and a side order of gravy from Rosie. I Dropped a $3.00 cash tip in bucket. First a plate of biscuits and gravy arrived. I didn t order biscuits and gravy. I don t like biscuits. I told the man to take them back because I didn t order them. I went to the register and told Rosie that I only ordered gravy. She was confused. I guess she didn t know I could order gravy alone. Angel was on the grill and started complaining about me. Gravy alone is $2.79 and it s on their computer (after I left, I called the El Monte store to confirm because Angel told me that item isn t on the computer and not allowed to order. Angel lied to me). Then my French toast came and my eggs and bacon. Later a bowl of cooked strawberries arrived that I never ordered. I told the man that I didn t order them and I went up to the register to ask why they came. She was confused also. She said it was a mistake. Right then Angel turned around from the grill and started YELLING at me that I ordered the strawberries last week and refused them when they came and now ordered them again!! I told him that I didn t order them again. I wouldn t make that same mistake again and he needs to apologize to me for humiliating me in front of the whole restaurant and the staff who I really like a lot. I ve come to really like these people so much. I come in almost daily and love to see them and say hi! He just turned his back to me and ignored me! The cashier Rosie was embarrassed and didn t know what to do. Of course she doesn t want to lose her job. Please don t let him fire her! I called Angel in the phone and told him Rosie made the mistake with the strawberries and he needs to apologize to me. He wouldn t! He also would admit she didn t know about the side. The other lady knows I buy a side of gravy and sells it to me. Rosie must not have been taught that. I m not mad at Rosie. I m mad at Angel for yelling at me. I ended up leaving all of my food on the table uneaten!! So basically I wasted $20.00 (with tip) at your restaurant and still Angel wouldn t give me an apology when I called him on the phone crying. I m 62 years old and I m a retired nurse. I m not a bad or mean person! My kids are half Mexican and I speak Spanish so there s not a huge language barrier either. Angel should refund my money and apologize. I still can t believe what I went through this morning.

So Im obsessed with good old fashioned diner places. The customer service is above and beyond here. Im from the south the moment I saw biscuits and gravy on the menu my heart said yes please. The service is fast and the place is clean and well kept. Will give this place more than 5 stars if it was a option. Well definitely come again for more.
