Fire! Thats what my kid said anyway, I just thought it was amazing. Great ambiance, really, really good food, and even a decent beer selection. This is a BBQ joint with a gastro-pub feel and some very good service, which got a little slow as the room filled. We were here on a Friday night though, so props for them trying to get everyone handled. I had the shrimp tacos, they were 100%. The kid had the brisket mac and cheese, and I had some of that because... brisket and mac? Yeah. It was so good. The nephew had a burger and it was bigger than I thought it would be, and it was delicious. The wife had a chicken breast with a side of brussel sprouts. Both were very well seasoned, and good! The sprouts needed a bit of salt. I had a Hazy IPA from Villain brewery (their captive brewery). The beer selection changes, but did not include anything on nitro this time (07Nov24). Fun on a bun, kids! If youre near, stop on in for some great grub, this spot is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The food is amazing! However, the absolute worst service in the history of service. Something needs to give! Bartender bad and slow, host never at the front, server never comes to check on you. I don t know but this place cuz be a lot better food is there but that s it.

I was excited to come here with my husband, arriving during the second happy hour from 9 PM to close, looking forward to some drinks and possibly a bite to eat. Unfortunately, our experience was soured by the red-headed bartender s attitude. When we approached the bar, we greeted her, but she didn t respond and instead started wiping the area directly in front of us aggressively. Based on her demeanor, we decided to leave, as I figured her drinks would reflect the attitude she displayed, BAD! We may return to try the barbecue, which smelled great, but if we do, we ll likely avoid the bar.

I was sitting at the bar and it took 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and take my drink order. I tried to get someones attention and I was either ignored or told Ill be right there. I waited patiently because they have tvs everywhere and wanted to try their food more than drink. Once I finally received my drink, my experience is I would go back again. Great night! I just know itll take awhile to get my drink. Not a problem

There are plenty of TV screens and the first Dodgers game of the series was on every TV! Parking: Its on a one way street. The parking spots are there & jump in one even if its a block away. It is paid parking with a meter on the sidewalk.

We had an extremely horrible & humiliating experience tonight at Craft which ended with a server named Bella running a block after us. My husband, our 2 kids & I went in for a late dinner. We ordered 2 beers & a lemonade. It took 10 minutes for our server to to tell us that they were out of the beers we wanted. In fact, they only had 3 types of beers in the entire restaurant, two of which were IPA s. We then ordered a different beer & food. We waited an additional 10 minutes & still had not received a water or any of our drinks or food so we decided we were going to leave. I kindly went up to the host area & asked a different server named Bella if she could have our server bring our check so that we could at least pay for the lemonade. I sat back down, waited & no one brought our check so we left. We walked an entire block & were at the corner of De Lacey Ave about to cross the street when we turned around to see Bella running up to us asking why we left without paying. We were extremely confused being that she wasn t even our server. My husband & I explained to her the situation above & she proceeded to accuse us of dining & dashing. We explained to her that we didn t receive any of the items that we ordered except the lemonade which we offered to pay for but no one came to us with the check when we requested it & we even handed her the money right then & there to pay for our lemonade. She acknowledged that but that wasn t why she ran after us. She then proceeded to tell us that because we ordered our drinks & food (even though we never got them) that we needed to pay for them. She continued arguing with us about the situation for several minutes as we stood on the sidewalk. I asked her for her name as I was going to make a complaint about her & she refused to give it to me. Once she realized I was walking back to the restaurant to complain about the situation she panicked & said it s not a big deal. I just wanted to let you guys know. It definitely was a big deal as she embarrassed us & had people walking by us & looking at us thinking that we dined & dashed. I spoke to a lead shift employee Stephanie who apologized on behalf of Bella & offered to sit us in a different section or pack up our food to go, but we chose to just leave. We ve been to this restaurant several times, but after this experience we will never be back.

Loaded BBQ Nachos - $16.99 This was the first dish served, even before the wine glasses arrived. Normally, I find nachos to be a boring but necessary appetizer. However, this dish changed my mind. It used black tortillas with beet-pickled onions, cilantro, pickled chips, and BBQ brisket. It was well-seasoned and balanced with queso. The flavor was excellent. 9/10 Brisket Mountain High Loaded Fries - $16.99 After the great nachos, the loaded fries didn t stand out. Swapping the tortillas for waffle-cut potatoes resulted in similar flavors. I wouldn t recommend ordering both the nachos and the loaded fries choose one or the other. 8/10 The Last Supper - $226.99 We ordered this set, along with additional sausage and short ribs. The name of the set felt odd perhaps even offensive to Christians but as a Buddhist, it didn t bother me. The set included five kinds of meat, cornbread, and a choice of six sides. All the meats were good, which I ll detail further, but considering the price, it felt a bit stingy to charge $2 extra for each Premium Side. The meal arrived on four separate plates: one for the combined meats, another for the Tomahawk steak, one for the sides, and a separate plate for the baked potato. Prime Tomahawk Steak The steak was served on a separate plate, with the plate slightly tilted to let the fat oil slide to the side. The fat was garnished with cilantro and diced tomatoes, which gave it the appearance of chimichurri though serving it with actual chimichurri would have been a great idea. This was the best Tomahawk I ve ever had tender, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly meaty. Simply excellent. 10/10 On the meat plate: Double Prime Brisket The brisket was clearly superior to the pastrami softer, moister, juicier, and less salty. 10/10 Double Prime Pastrami Brisket This was below-average pastrami. It looked good but tasted dry. I ve had much better pastrami elsewhere. 5/10 Short Rib An okay rib it would have been considered good if I hadn t already had the excellent Tomahawk and brisket. 7/10 Sausages The sausages were fine nothing special, but no complaints either. 7/10 Cornbread The cornbread was very good, but we were only served two pieces. I m not sure if it s refillable or if those two were the only ones included. 8/10 Loaded Baked Potato (+$2.00) I strongly do not recommend this it was tasteless and undercooked, with the potato hard instead of soft. 0/10 On the sides plate: Broccolini (+$2.00) This was our favorite side of the night. We re-ordered it twice because it was perfectly crispy without being dry a must-order! 10/10 Brussels Sprouts (+$2.00) These were just as good as the broccolini, though they tend to be harder, which is just the nature of Brussels sprouts, not a fault of the chef. 9/10 Roasted Carrots (+$2.00) They were okay. 6/10 Creamy Bleu Cheese Slaw Also just okay. 6/10 Garlic & Herb Mashed Potatoes Average, nothing special. 6/10 Eventually, we ordered some cocktails because the presentation was fancy. However, they honestly weren t great. Sorting Hat - $18.99 I wouldn t recommend this one. Don t order. Burn The Ships - $15.99 This one was slightly better, but still not impressive. Not that bad.

They have ruined the place. This restaurant used to have great food and management. Every time I would go there, either the manager or one of the chefs would come out to check in the tables. Now it has gone downhill. Our party ordered their famous loaded baked potato which usually has crispy onions and a lot of brisket on it, bbq sauce, ranch etc.. this time all that came out was a baked potato with a dime size piece of brisket and nothing else. I was so upset that I didn t take photos. I asked for the manager twice. Nobody came. Even the waitress was really embarrassed by the food their kitchen sent out and the way the manager ignored their loyal, returning customers. Before this place was so busy that on the weekends it was very hard to get a table without prior reservations. When I walked in I was surprised by the amount of open tables. Now I know why

Made reservations for a party of 7 to celebrate my best friends birthday. First time dining in the restaurant and was very impressed by the cool/hip atmosphere. It was full of life. We were handed menus and given time to look through their yummy cocktail drinks. But we were never informed by the waitress that a couple of the drinks were not available. Bummer! Because some of us were going to order those. The drinks we did order were pretty good. I ordered the Cast Away. It was delicious. The food menu looked tasteful. I ordered the shrimp tacos and a side or Blue Cheese Slaw. Long after the rest of my group was brought out their food, I finally received my dish. As it was placed in front of me, I noticed the corn tortillas. Sure enough, I picked up my taco, and the tortilla fell apart. I immediately felt regret for ordering it. Along with the Blue Cheese Slaw (which tasted as simple as purple Cabbage and blue cheese dressing) was blah. No flavor whatsoever. Its a shame it failed because who doesnt love shrimp tacos! Parking: Strict street parking with meters. There is also a parking structure across the street. Parking their is $15.00 flat rate Kid-friendliness: Kids of all ages welcomed. They also have a Kids menu.

My girlfriend had brisket tacos which were kind of skimpy on the meat. I gave her one of my tacos in trade for a skinny one of hers. I am hoping and giving my waitress Tara the benefit of the doubt that she was overwhelmed or having an off day but out service was very slow. The Brisket Mac Saga Okay, so. We came with a party of four for dinnertime, me being the only member who had never been. We ordered a few items - the brisket, the tri tip, the sausage, an appetizer and a handful of sides. I ordered the brisket Mac and cheese. The menu did not say it was spicy, there appeared to be no spicy ingredients, except for the actual spices on the brisket itself. But after about three bites, an unexpected heat was building. I couldnt tell where it came from. I continued eating, thinking it was just me, as I have a very low spice tolerance. But not too long after, my whole mouth was burning, and I was developing a stomachache. My partner noticed that I had stopped eating, and I told him about the Mac. He tried a bite himself, as did the two other members of our party. They agreed, there was something in the brisket Mac and cheese (that was definitely NOT present in the plate of brisket, which we also ordered) that made it very hot. We asked our waitress, Stephanie, what was the heat in the brisket Mac and cheese. She suggested (obviously somewhat uncertain) that it might be from marinating the meat additional time for the Mac, which was not a satisfactory answer, but we shrugged it off. I set the brisket Mac and cheese aside and picked off of other plates. Towards the end of our meal, Stephanie delivered us a dessert, on the house, to thank us for our patronage. It was a very sweet gesture, and of course appreciated (who says no to free dessert?) but I couldnt help still feeling suspicious. THE RESOLUTION: As we were signing our receipts, Stephanie returned once more to say she had solved the mystery. Apparently at least two other groups of customers had mentioned an unexpected heat to the brisket Mac earlier in the day. She told us that the chef who has made the brisket Mac that morning had added extra spice to it, which he was definitely not supposed to do. To hear this information was incredibly validating, and her going out of her way not just to solve the mystery, but to explain it to us as well, definitely brightened my experience. Five stars for Stephanie. As for the rest of it: service and atmosphere are wonderful. The food is just decent in quality (there were other details, such as the plate of brisket having large sections of un-rendered and inedible fat, the sausage being too salty to finish, and the tri-tip tasting mostly of pepper, but pepper fans would probably like it). We felt that the sides were generally better than the proteins. But with a few drinks and a close group of friends, it was a good experience. I would probably not come back on a date for two, and I would not attend if you were looking for a real good barbecue place. But with friends? Enjoyable.

A medium upscale looking sports bar in a great location with open sidewalk windows. We were seated very quickly and the server came to us in a short amount of time as well. The drinks took 25 minutes literally and the order was incorrect. I asked for a splash of cranberry in my ketel one and it came back full cranberry with a splash of ketel. I asked how many ounces were in the drinks and the server ended up returning and said it was one and a quarter which is extremely low. So I ended up asking for a double ketel on the rocks And they came back another 20 minutes later with about 6 oz of vodka. I looked at the bar and for only having one bartender he looked very leisurely and not one bit of stress with about 160 people in the place. I liked the atmosphere and our server made the experience more pleasurable with a really great attitude, brought us some free garlic toast even though we were not hungry and thanked us for our patients. I would go back again and maybe change the review if my experience is different but I dont think that I would try the food there.

A drink that someone ordered was unavailable so they brought out two others to make up for it, but they were not comparable and tasted like cough syrup. The drinks also took an extremely long time to get there and the waitress even remarked that her bartender took so long. Later, a member of our party told the waitress that she cannot have any dairy, she said it wouldnt be a problem, then her vegetables arrived with butter and the potato arrived with butter, sour cream, and cheese. It had to be sent back. The brisket tacos were good, but completely cold. Didnt want to say anything based on how overwhelmed the server appeared and issues wed already had. The complimentary shots didnt arrive until the very end as we were paying the bill. Although, those were much better than the duck around cocktail that tasted nothing like it was described...it had a strong herbal taste like a cough drop, similar to the two other drinks another member had gotten.

Food was fine, until both my wife and I got SEVERE food poisoning later that night. We dont think it was the brisket or lamb chops bc they looked cooked through. We are suspecting the salad or the coconut shrimp. We had dinner at 6 pm, went to the Hollywood bowl later that night, and by midnight, we were both praying to the porcelain gods for at least 24 hours.

We loved this place. It use to be a chicken spot. Now its crafts by smoke and fire. Our waiter was super dope. That made everything even better. We got the ribs and brisket, along with sides. Mac n cheese, brussel sprouts, garlic potatoes. The food was super filling. BBQ always hits the spot. The inside has a nice ambience. Huge tv on the side wall to watch the major sports games and a bar in the back. We were given some fruity shots and they were suuuper bomb. All in all, this place is amazing. Keep up the great work.

It was our first time there the waitress that helped us was very friendly and nice. I don t remember her name otherwise I would stated here, but she was working on a Tuesday morning and she was also doing the bar. The food was delicious and her hospitality was very welcoming. I think it made the experience even better. Since it was our first time there she offered To give us garlic bread on the house, that was really nice of her. I m definitely gonna come back and I will be referring friends and family. By the way, I had the short rib and the brisket with mac & cheese. The brisket was very good, but oh my God the short rib was amazing next time I ll definitely be getting that again and I might just try the load of baked potato too

If I can give the service 0 stars I would. Service was horrible. Didn t feel welcomed at all. They kept ignoring our requests. They didn t even have a waiter for us, we had the guy that was at the bar, no it was not crowded at all to not have a waiter for our table. They literally slammed the food on our table and they handed our bill not in a book or nothing (everyone else did get there bill in a pad) As for the food the flavour was all right but the name of the dish doesn t meet the expectations. Barely any meat in our foods and the tortillas were soggy and coming apart. More pieces of fat (yuck) than meat. WORK ON YOUR STAFFS ATTITUDE AND MAKE ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE/Religions WELCOMED.

Loved, loved, loved the lively, casual vibe, friendly staff, and delicious food at Craft! They have THE cutest cocktails, too! The Duck Around and Find Out alone will have me coming back! The chicken sandwich was Craft by far, their potato salad is the best Ive had in a long time! There are so many great options (both main dishes and sides), that we will just have to come back to try everything on the menu! When in Pasadena, I highly recommend adding Craft to your dining options! Kid-friendliness: Its a great space, with great music playing, so if your kids like a not-so-quiet place, this is a good spot! Its not a kids place, per se, but I did see--and did not hear them--over the music!

Weve enjoyed coming here. The food is very rich, and the portions are huge. It can get pretty greasy, but the salads are excellent if youre looking for something lighter. But youll always get something packed with flavor. And they have very creative cocktails. It can be quite busy, and the space is extremely loud when full. Its a very industrial look to the decor. But its very open, and they have nice outdoor seating.

So my Boyfriend and I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. We recently just moved to Pasadena from Chicago. We checked Craft out and the food was beyond amazing. We got the waffles fries, the garlic break, brisket quesadilla, the beef, and lamb chops. The brisket quesadilla was mouth watering. The brisket was moist flavourful the sause on the quesadilla was tasty. The beef was made just right as well as the lamb chops. We ordered two drinks duck around and find out and the como la flour. The drinks were pretty & made exactly how it sounds. Our waiter I hope I remember his name correctly think it was Kenneth or Keith W but he was so nice so great at welcoming us giving us recommendations to try. He made sure we had a good time everything was to our liking. I would definitely pick him as my server again when we return. We have friends coming from Chicago soon we will be bringing them back for sure. The ambiance was beautiful in the resturant.

Made a reservation on OpenTable for Sunday lunch and there were a lot of tables open, so probably didnt need a reservation. Our server Annie was awesome! She consistently came to provide us with water refills and was helpful in helping us decide what to order. We ended up getting the high mountain fries which were excellent, the beef brisket burrito, and the beef brisket tacos. The tacos and fries were our favorite! The meat was super juicy and flavorful. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area! Thanks again Annie for your great service and hospitality!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. We expected it to be busy but we were able to be seated right away. Because it is an open concept, it is a very loud space; if you prefer a quieter atmosphere conducive to conversation with your family, this is not the place. Our server was very kind but the actual meal service was VERY slow, like she brought us free garlic bread because it was taking so long kind of slow. When the food finally got there it was just okay. Good flavor potential on the short rib tacos, but too much sauce and too much fat/gristle kind of ruined it for me. My daughter was happy with the Mac and Cheese. Hubby was not happy that the chicken breast he ordered to top his salad came out as giant chunks of dry fried chicken. He would have sent it back but we couldn t get the server back. Then came the wait for the check. It was a LONG wait; we only got it by flagging down a different server, and even then it still took a long time. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but I don t think we will be back.

A very good social eatery with good food and atmosphere. They bbq great briskets! I just wish it was seasoned a bit better. From our experience, I d say you should preferably not order the birria tacos. However, the stockburger is great, and it has everything in it: 2 beef patties, mac n cheese AND beef brisket!! It s massive and very tasty. As for the nachos, they re tasty, but they could use some more cheese. However, the atmosphere is great! Service is also very good. Recommended for those BBQ lovers.

To be honest, I only stopped in here for a quick beer for happy hour. It wasn t busy at that time of day and I didn t get to try their food. The happy hour is a two for one, though you have to get the same drink - no mix & match unfortunately. We got the Mexican lager they have on tap, it was okay, probably would not order again but they had a nice menu and would order something else next time. It s a sports bar with funny memes scattered throughout with a nice layout. Looks like the spot to be during a game or a night out with the lads, not sure about the girls yet but would have to see on another day. I also appreciated the tap handles (pictured below) which added a lot of character along with the nice leather seats throughout. Definitely worth a try!

He had the brisket grilled cheese and enjoyed it. At the table we also had the short rib quesadillas, mountain high loaded fries, loaded nachos, skin on potato salad. Everything tasted great. We both ordered the Nashville Chicken Sandwich, but asked for the Smoked version instead of Fried/Breaded. Waitress asked if we want Mild, Medium or Hot bbq sauce so we went with mild. Sandwiches arrive and its a massive, single piece of chicken on a small bun that was impossible to eat. Had to use a knife and fork, chicken was dry. Kept looking for our waitress to ask Where is the bbq sauce but gave up and just ate some of it and brought the rest home to chop up and add our own bbq sauce. MacnCheese side dish was good.

I needed to eat it with the waffle fries. I wouldn t recommend the chili as it s a little salty. The fries were crispy and good. The garlic and herb mashed potatoes were also delicious.
