I came here specifically for the cupcakes, and I was not disappointed. I'm so happy they had mini sizes and I was able to try 5 flavors (without making myself sick!) My favorite was the fleur de sel cupcake with its hint of salt on top. The red velvet, peanut butter, chocolate strawberry, and cookies and cream flavors were all good too. Moist cake and not overly sweet frosting. If I didn't live 300+miles away, I'd be back for more!

Place looks cute, but not a fan of the food or drink, it was okay edible and definitely over priced for underwhelming no wow factor, staff were not memorable. The taste and flavor are off with the food and drink, it was a long wait yet not worth the wait and there was no line inside either. The coffee beans had a dull after taste, not flavorful for me. The cupcakes looks better than it taste unfortunately, it was dry, great decoration and photos though, it got my foot in the door, however that was it. I really wanted to like this place and find a new gem, but not it sadly. Free parking lot, but limited spaces.

Don't even know that Dots cafe sells family meals until my cousin tells me about it. My wife and I decided to try their Father's Day dinner special. For $130, I think it is worth it, the amount of food can last for 2-3 days. The ribeye has great flavor, tender and easy to chew, especially for my kids. The salad is refreshing. Potato Gratin and the Spinach Cream are a little on the salty side. The peanut chocolate dessert is excellent, moist and flavorful, not too sweet. I will definitely try their weekly dinner meals when I am too lazy to cook.

WOWWWW!!! Incredible experience. Got a meyer lemon cupcake while I waited for my sandwich and it was so fresh and delicious. The cream cheese frosting was addicting and the cake was very moist and dense. So satisfying.

I REALLY enjoyed my tuna melt sandwich. The perfect amount of salt, celery crunch and chopped red onions paired with the meltiest cheese. Such crunchy sourdough! YUM.

The side salad came with a spicy mustard dressing and it was soooo refreshing with a little kick.

I will be coming back very often!

There is almost nothing I enjoy more than the perfect breakfast burrito. I’ve combed through a lot of LA and had countless renditions, dots is very high on my list of favorites.

I got the ultimate breakfast burrito and it was delicious I’ve already been back a second time.

The eggs were fluffy and creamy and pared perfectly with the cheese and avo as any true Californian appreciates. What can’t be looked passed is the crispness of the bacon. No soggy bacon here.

Reasonably priced, totally worth it given the taste and portion sizes.

Also pictured is the ultimate breakfast sandwich another very solid option that will not disappoint, pro tip add the sundried tomato mayo. I’ve yet to eat the cupcakes but if they are anything close to the breakfast they will be the cherry on top of a perfect meal.

Overall dots is a great location for a brunch and for those who have sweet teeth like me. The bright floral aesthetic and calming vibes make for a great start to a lazy Sunday.

No matter how many times I go the service leaves me feeling unwelcome. Its a pretty place, some of the cupcakes are good and some are dryer than others. I really want to like it but the service has always been meh. I have been going for 4 years. Last time we went it was so uncomfortable. The vibe is not good. But yes, it is pretty. Just no pretty enough for me to go back. No one ever says, Hello or thank you. Not even eye contact. Its so bizarre. Even some family members have said as much. Pretty just isnt enough for me.

It was so unfortunate, but the hospitality in this location is sad. The young woman working there looked angry and made it awkward. Made us uncomfortable, and felt transactional. We ordered the passion fruit cupcake, strawberry cupcake, two dog cupcakes, and the mint chocolate chip cupcake. The cupcakes were stale and dry, we were expecting to have them be soft and buttery. No flavor expect for the frosting. Was going to ask for a refund but I honestly just wanted to leave.

They have coffee, brunch food and cupcakes! The prices are so reasonable for what it is. There s plenty of seating for a lunch hang out. My absolute favorite is the mocha breve. For those that care, they use copa vida beans. Parking: It s a small parking lot but usually people get take out. There s also free street parking available in the neighborhood

Food was great just never got to enjoy it! Honestly such a disappointing experience, we were recommended this place from a local we had just met and were so excited to eat here. When we got here we got even more excited because it was so cute inside. Sat and waited about 25 minutes for my friends food, Katherine apologized but never said anything about my food. Friend went and asked about getting ranch and then asked on behalf for my food. Young guy up front said it would be out in a minute. The curly haired young girl tried bringing out another persons food to me and I told her that wasn t mine. I then asked her where MY food was and she said they didn t have that order and had said they had given mine to someone else and they could get another order going and I told her then I wanted a refund. She seemed very apathetic I don t know if she was the manager but Katherine didn t come out to apologize. Overall such a terrible awful customer service experience, if you re the manager or owner and you re reading this please train Katherine and your other staff how to properly handle these situations. We will never return and never recommend to anyone ever.

I dont leave many reviews, but I hope this review will help the establishment and prospective customers. I ordered full-size cupcakes first thing in the morning and they gave me day old cupcakes versus fresh cupcakes. The cupcakes were very dry and crumbly, not anything like the fresh ones Ive received in times past. This isnt a good practice, serving day old gourmet cupcakes to customers who think theyre purchasing fresh gourmet cupcakes. Please keep this in mind before ordering, Im not sure the best time of day to order fresh cupcakes, but the product should be consistent enough to where you dont need to strategically order. Its disappointing.

I come here off duty from San Bernardino public health and I come here often practically every morning and had some feed back of my own that I believe is so crucial and upsetting! I hear nothing , but drama constantly every morning I believe it s some really skinny girl with a big nose I think her name was Jimena or something with an X I believe her and some short girl always & she didn t give me her name when I asked for it and she made a huge argument over it I really think she s unprofessional, but my husband comes here every afternoon because we just love the cupcakes not service and he even comes home to orders messed up I get regulars instead of minis and my husband is a professor and has to provide for his students such false advertisement I ve never been so angry that I finally decided to stop spending a dime here and recommended others just go somewhere else to get cupcakes ! Lastly every body should be positive working together as a Team and theirs completely none the girls are segregated.. and as for the store owner I hope you learn how to do your job right and a business treat your employees fairly I believe that s the main reason why all this is spiraling down hill . Don t COME HERE TERRIBLE SERVICE IN THE MORNINGS . DONT DO PHONE ORDERS HERE ITS COMPLETELY POINTLESS THEY WILL SCREW UP SO IF YOUR HOSTING EVENTS DONT RELY ON IT Ect. Ect . Saw this place during my Sunday morning errands and it did not disappoint! Super cute decor with attention to all the small details that make a place great. Surprised the food is also excellent and not just the normal brunch things. Their salmon sandwich was amazing on the brioche and the Philly cheesesteak burrito was delicious as well with a bit of heat. As a person that looks into the details a lot, I would say theres definitively a chefs special touch and heart in their kitchen. The mint cupcake and and blueberry muffin were also baked to perfection. Vietnamese coffee packs a punch! So glad I stopped by today and will definitely bring friends back. Very impressed! Keep it going!

My company ordered about 60+ food boxes for our catered lunch. Dots has the cutest takeaway boxes! Their grilled chicken sandwich is the best! Has an amazing sauce with so much flavor (garlic aioli and onions do a jig in your mouth) and the butter ciabatta bun was the finishing touch!! Inside the box is a sandwich, fries, cupcake in a cute little box, and utensils and ketchup packets. Oh and the lid has an adorable drawing for kids to color on, it s such a unique touch! I highly recommend getting Dots cafe for your lunch and especially work catered lunches. Made our work day extra fun (felt like a kid asking coworkers to trade cupcakes and see what flavors they had)!

We were driving by and had the little ones in the car so we decided to stop in. This is our 1st visit but definitely not our last. We were greeted by the delicious smells of love. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the style. The cupcakes all looked amazing! My daughter picked her cupcakes and while eating it, she said,Ill remember this 1 forever! . Paul was gracious and friendly and was able to be engaging even while there were others in the shop. It felt very relaxed and was very welcoming. We will definitely be back. Work your way around the menu, we will. Enjoy.

This place is not only cupcake store, but a cafe. They have sandwiches and other small bites. The staff is friendly and polite. The store is very clean and inviting. The only drawback is they run out of things very fast and some of the items are a bit expensive and is not worth the money.

Unfortunately, the food was so glad we had to add our own seasoning. We got the Mac & Cheese and Linguine & Meat Sauce; it was not worth the price I wouldn t eat here again. ::Dessert:: I will only come back for the cupcakes. We love Dots Cafe. The tuna melt is our favorite for my husband and I to share for lunch. The pasta is good too, and dont forget the portobello fries! They have curbside pick-up and are super friendly.

We stopped by Dot s Cafe after some google digging for a good coffee in the area and we were NOT disappointed! This place is amazing! Probably the best lavender oat milk latte I ve ever had and that s a lot considering I m a barista myself lol. My boyfriend got the cold brew with almond milk and it was also top notch. Seriously, if you re in the area, grab a coffee from here. The girls working were also super sweet and made us feel very welcome.

Its a beautiful cafe but does not have efficient workers. I placed an order over the phone at 10:30 and arrived 5 minutes later 30 minutes later i had to leave at 11:05 since my order was still not ready Neither was my coffee or water Which made no sense when workers were standing around The cashier followed me to my truck and made assumptions that I was not charged for my coffee or water She confused me with another costumer Which I had paid for everything when I had arrived And had proof She did offer a refund after she realized she was wrong I had no time to retrieve my refund I think you need to reevaluate your chooses in workers and if you know your busy on weekends hire help for the cook

Weve been going to Dots Cupcakes for years and just found out yesterday they were closing after 15 years. So sad because they were always soooo good. Fortunately we arrived as the owner was closing for the last time and told us about the Dots Cafe location! We thought we were losing them forever but just have to head over to this location. Long overdue review. During covid, I survived on their delicious family meals. I followed their Instagram page religiously, always wanting to try their new foods. Not only are their foods delicious, but also their desserts! They also give away free goodies from time to time. Some of my favorites include the any of beef dishes and chicken Parmesan. I can safely say this is the one thing I miss since moving out of LA.

Dots offers a Sunday brunch for 4 people which was perfect for when my friends wanted to celebrate my birthday since there would be four of us! My friend CC ordered online by emailing them. They post their weekly menu on their website and also on social media. We got the following: -- Croque Monsieur with Ham, Gruyere Cheese, Dijon Mustard, and Bechemel Sauce: This was really good! Very cheesy and delicious. -- Asparagus Wrapped in Bacon: I hate asparagus so I cannot speak as to how this was. They dont allow substitutions so we werent able to ask for something else. Two of my friends ate it and thought it was fine. I think they liked that it was wrapped in bacon? -- Coffee Cake: Moist and crumbly and delicious! -- Tater Tots: CC added this to our order for her young son to eat since he was also with us at the brunch picnic. I was able to try some and I liked them. But I mean, how can you go wrong with tater tots? Because the brunch meal came with dessert (coffee cake), I didnt get any of their cupcakes when I picked up my order. But Ive had their cupcakes before (years ago) and I think I liked them, so theyre definitely worth checking out if youre in the area! And they have a cute shop on Colorado that I wish I had taken photos of. Oh well, next time!

I love Dots Cafe! They have such yummy lattes, cupcakes, and Im especially fond of their breakfast food selection. Theyve also been doing delicious family meals that you can pre-order and pickup. The inside of the cafe is so gorgeous and its obvious that the owner is so attentive to every detail. First time here. I discovered this place on Postmates out of curiosity and it was even better than I expected! My order came faster than I thought, I ordered the bento box and lavender lemonade and they were delicious! Not only did the food and drinks taste good, they look good too, which was a bonus! The way they packaged everything was so adorable and sweet. It looks like they took their time and made sure each order was special. Every thing looked neat and carefully packed and I even saw my name handwritten on the postmates tag. I felt really special and loved when I opened the box, the handmade artwork printed on the lid made my heart melt The lavender lemonade drink itself as well as the cup design was so beautiful and picture-worthy to look at. The mini cupcake that came with the bento deal, (I got fleur de sel flavor) was delicious as well! And had its own small cute gift box that was fun to open. Overall, Im amazed with this place and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Probably the best thing I ordered by far!

I ve now been to dots cafe to pick up cupcakes to go 3 times. Every time, the sales girl was rude, the cupcakes are super dry and tasteless. If you are looking for a great cupcake, go to Polka tots cupcakes on Lake st. The best! Moist and cheaper the dots.

What a score -- thank you Google suggestions! I wanted to find a place to pick up food before heading to the Arboretum for a picnic and the bento lunch boxes were awesome! Tasty sandwich, petite side salad, pickles and mini cupcake -- all in a super cute/handy box that upgraded the picnic experience. Id absolutely go back.

Im a regular here and just normally get the coffee, great family place to eat breakfast! Cupcakes are unmatched, WiFi and bright decor.

Way overpriced, small portions, food not that good, what kind of bakery runs out of everything 4 hrs before they close, 1:30 pm on a Sunday. I will never go back.

The atmosphere looks good. Its an attempt at cool, hipster cafe. However, the food doesnt live up to the price and the appearance. Food was late, undercooked, cold. Macaroni was dry. Hash browns were toasted from prepackaged freezer food. Not impressed.

Sandwich my mom ordered was absolutely delicious! The fries are thin but crunchy and just a little salt! Cupcake was super moist and the frosting was not so sugary! Love the food!

Great food but atmosphere is crowded and noisy, especially since a lot of young kids. I would suggest takeout if you want to eat in peace and quiet.

I visited in the early afternoon on the way back, and I was pleasantly surprised! I had already eaten, but I could always use a nice latte, so I tried the rose latte. They really brought out the traditional musk rose flavor, which I think can be a challenge to work with well. But they did use it very well, and paired it with a very rich espresso with tones of cinnamon and cocoa. The rose tones seemed to float from and above the espresso! I have not yet found a better rose latte than this and I try them wherever I find them served. The indoor atmosphere was bright, positive, spacious, but quaint and cozy. And the server I spoke to was quite kind and considerate. It is a great place to study or to sit down with friends. The location is so convenient as it is right off the 210 East bound exit and entrance, and very close to the 210 W exit and entrance. I highly recommend this cafe!

Save your money, not a fan. The quality of the food is not particularly better than what you get at a regular run of the mill restaurants, but you do pay more. Management is a big issue. I ordered eggs and bacon and took almost 25 minutes to serve, unacceptable. When I asked the manager, she said they were busy, not a good answer. She made no attempt to make the situation better, also not good. Tops across the street is much better and faster than this place. Needless to say, I will not patronize this place again.

Everything was fantastic and tasted amazing! I got the milk tea with boba and the almond butter and banana toast. It was definitely worth it.

They had a good selection of mini and full size cupcakes. They were very helpful when I asked about the new flavors. I purchased a couple of minis to try the new flavors along with the red velvet and carrot cake cupcakes I was there to purchase. The cupcakes were moist and I really liked the new apple pie flavor with apples inside.
