I only go here for convenience but I'm not a fan. A lot of the pharmacy, skincare, and cleaning products are behind plastic cages/cases because they've had a theft problem, which I understand but it makes it difficult to shop. They have call buttons to get Target employees to open the cages, but no one comes 70% of the time and the other 30% is a 5-10 minute wait. It's pretty difficult to find someone to help you with anything. I once asked someone to open a cage for men's boxers (yes they put those behind cages as well) and no one ever came back. The staff at the register are also not very helpful, such as not being able to do override for price matches or manufacturer coupon; I've gone to other Targets whose staff have no problem performing these actions. Sometimes products have different prices at the register than what is displayed. One positive note is that it is a bigger Target, so you're more likely to find something, but is not as well stocked as the Target Pasadena East location. This Target is more for convenience for people in the Pasadena area, but the customer experience leaves much to be desired, which disappoints me as a stock holder in the company. If you shop here, try to shop through the app and just to pick-up. FYI, I asked them to remove the bag fee once when I did pick up since I brought my bag, the guy said he removed the fee but I didn't see him do anything; sure enough I was charged for the bag fee when I later checked my credit card statement. Other Targets have not had a problem removing this bag fee when I've asked them. I get the vibe that some of the employees at this Target are a bit lazy compared to other locations. They are often too lazy to bring the carts in from the parking garage into the store, so 40% of the time you have to go back outside to find a cart on the first floor

Employees are super helpful and nice. The place has a hige parking garage in the back. Stock is very limited, and most of the stuff is locked behind lock and key. I understand why they are doing it, but it makes shopping so hard.

Target is guilty of SHRINKFLATION.

I used to be able to buy a 128oz of white vinegar for $4.19. Now, I can only buy 64oz of white vinegar for $3.49. It went from 3¢ per ounce to 5¢ to ounce, that's 67% increase in cost for less.

Pure corporate greed folks.

This review is for the customer service desk! Whenever you see James working the service desk just go back when he’s NOT. He is never helpful, has a bad attitude, and is LAZY! It never fails. This last time I saw him while walking in Target and I told my husband, “this guy has the worst attitude” but didn’t want to come back. So I tried again and just as I thought, bad attitude and tried to lie to me about a store policy. Not only am I guest but my family member works at that Target, so I know the policy. I can only assume that he is just lazy! Worst service ever!!! I’d rather drive to East Pasadena than give my service to a store that keeps horrible workers at their store. It’s not just James there’s another male there that is just as lazy and rude but I didn’t get his name.

Went in for a bag and laundry Detergent. When we asked them to open the case they told us to push the assistance needed button. Waited 15 to 20 min for that guy to talk to one of his Co workers. While 10 others passed by being busy. Honestly this is why I dont go to target even at home let alone out of town.

It is a shopping center with good prices compared to the average prices in Pasadina. Food, clothes, household products, detergents, soap, electronics, fruit and vegetables etc. It is large and has a ground floor and a first floor. In the womens clothing department they also have plus sizes.

This used to be my go to target for a long time until it wasnt. Stock is always low on almost every item and parking is limited. Other than that its a ok location right on Colorado which makes for a convenient spot.

Great location, but... It is a smaller store than most, so a lot of things you would expect to find at a normal Target just arent here. And due to what I assume is a shoplifting problem, SOOOO much stuff is shelved behind locked glass doors, requiring constant assistance and really slowing the shopping experience, and reducing shelf-space (and inventory) even more. It pays to use the Target app to make sure this location has the things you need first.

This is the store where I have encountered the best staff attitude. (3121 E Colorado Blvd) It is said that it is the best in Los Angeles or the West Coast, and it is well deserved. Tiffany, the cashier, was very patient with me and asked my superiors if I encountered any problems. Another Tony came and solved the problem very well, with a very good attitude. Comfort me, its not my problem; its their systems problem. Open the next cash register and clear the queue of customers behind you in time. And comfort me, its not my problem. There was nothing impatient or uncomfortable about his expression. I believe many people have encountered many store clerks who made a face, as if the boss owed him money. This store is the best among these retail grocery stores.

I now only go here for a few things that aren t locked up behind their new obnoxious plexiglass. Other than that, virtually all the merchandise you want, like skin care, toothpaste, toothbrushes, other oral hygiene products, deodorant, body soaps, OTC medicines, undergarments and socks, laundry detergent, and a ton of other things are locked up in plexiglass. Also, they permanently closed the changing rooms so you cannot try on clothes before you buy them, which is annoying. I have waited 5 minutes before an employee bothered to come unlock the shelves, and they were slow and not very friendly. It makes shopping highly unpleasant. So, I go to another Target where they don t lock up the merchandise. It s a shame they feel the need to lock up things. It totally ruins the shopping experience having to wait at least 2-5 minutes or more for some employee, who clearly doesn t want to bother helping you and is annoyed you took him away from whatever he was doing, to unlock a door so you can take a half second getting what you want. So, it causes one to spend way more time, just waiting, in the store. Another problem with the locked plexiglass doors is that one cannot inspect the product or read the labeling that well. Just to do that, you have to call someone else over, wait a long time not worth it! Locking things up like this is just a really, really bad idea that their dumb isolated, rich CEO who is paid, per hour, at least 300x the average store employee hourly wage, only forces honest people to pay for thieves stealing things. It most likely doesn t work very well to reduce the shoplifting, as the shoplifting still continues after the thieves get past the locked plexiglass doors! So, it s a failed policy from their lovely, rich jerk of a CEO. For that reason, I avoid this particular Target, and I d recommend you do too!

Ordered for pickup the day before Easter product availability was fabulous and drive up pickup was wonderful! Itcwas pouring down rain and I was so thankful to be able to not have to go in to get my purchases. The young man that brought me my packages was very nice! I would definitely do Target drive up pickup again!

I generally dont like coming to this Target. Its ironic that its in Pasadena, considering how mid it is. If it wasnt the only Target in downtown Pasadena, I wouldnt come here. Everything is locked up, so youre required to have someone open the container so you can get everything from toothpaste to body wash. You also have to cross your fingers that they have toilet paper or paper towels stocked because its not reasonable to expect that they will. Luckily, the staff is generally very helpful.

Nice big store with a Starbucks on the lower floor. Open late. Rarely a wait for checkout (checkouts upstairs and downstairs as well as self checkouts). First level of parking garage is a bit of a nightmare, but top floor is ok. I like the older building, it has some character. *Updating this and taking off two stars. This is because they ve locked up a lot of the types of items I shop here for. I like reading labels before I make a purchase, but now I have to know exactly what I m getting because I have to ask an employee to unlock the plexiglass doors. I asked one employee if they could unlock one for me and she replied I don t have a key. Didn t offer to find someone with a key, just returned to stocking a shelf that was not locked lol. Also the self checkout lines have started to get quite long at times. This store is a cool Pasadena landmark and I hate to see it declining.

The organization of this target is kind of infuriating, it took me a long time to find the returns section, as there were zero signs for it on the entire first floor. After returning an item, I went to the clothing section. The fitting room near the men s section was closed and I was told after searching the whole floor that I d have to go downstairs to try things on, but that they closed the fitting rooms early. Forget it.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I used to love shopping at Target. That has recently changed. There are way too many essential items that are now locked up. at the same time, there are not enough employees with keys. On top of that, the sensors to alert an employee that a customer needs help DO NOT WORK. An employee admitted that most of them do not work. This is extremely frustrating. I have decided to spend as little money as possible at Target because of this experience. There are other stores that treat customers with respect, rather than expecting them to be thieves.

I cant believe how much stuff is locked up now. Im writing this as Im waiting for someone to unlock a case for the fourth time this shopping trip. If I was in even the slightest rush I wouldve abandoned these items by now. This is why people are buying online more and more. Maybe its preventing a few losses, but its also definitely preventing a TON of sales. While Ive been waiting three other people were waiting with me and have all given up waiting. Thats potentially hundreds of dollars of losses in the span of a couple minutes. Ive been waiting ten minutes only because I desperately need a gift for someone, but Im about to give up waiting too. On a totally separate note, a ton of the stuff in the refrigerated section is consistently expired. Whoever manages this store needs to rethink things or be replaced.

I asked an employee where the hair clippers are today. He was holding a set and said here. They must have just been returned, when I got home there was hair all in it. I can t get back there for a week I m so pissed. I don t think hairy used clippers go straight back on the shelf. I called and tried to get through to every department and no answer. Corporate recently decided to put 60% of the items in locked cabinets and didn t increase staff to help people unlock them. Now the store is short-staffed AND you can t get anything you want. I understand the locked cabinets are in the name of preventing shoplifting but now I have to wait 10 minutes for someone to come along to unlock a pair of underwear for me to look at. It doubled the time it took me to shop and made the experience extremely unpleasant, all so Target can prevent people from stealing 10¢ worth of fabric that they probably desperately need. It s a dumb tactic that is making me consider other options for my weekly shopping so I don t waste half my time waiting for an underpaid staff member to run from across the store to unlock a case of deodorant so I don t offend my coworkers at work tomorrow

Loved this huge Target store with free car parking. Opens early unlike Macys that opens at 10 am! Groceries were much cheaper here than at pharmacies. Milk duds only cost $1.25. Loved their fitted cotton sheets and plush 650 gm cotton towels, all affordably priced. Loved the chlorox dishwashing gloves which were latex free! The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and memorised where every item was in each aisle! Shopped here daily while on holiday.

Jordan was hands down the worst Starbucks associate I ve ever come across and Starbucks is a daily thing for me.. the moment I approached I asked if they were still open because his back was towards me and he was doing something in the sink. And he came with a disgusting attitude and asked what I wanted, I told him and mid sentence before I was even done talking he walks away and says ok. He proceeds to make the drink and of course messes up because he wasn t listening and was just ready to clock out. The WONDERFUL African American lady who was SO NICE AND SWEET remade it for me. I didn t catch her name but she made My night. I m not sure how such a sweet person could work beside a person like him. He approaches and says to her, I made it how he wanted it.. and I stopped him and said No, I said no ice, atleast twice. I m not sure how such and immature and negative person even got hired. The quality and desperation of Starbucks to hire has reached a new low.

Love my target. Look around enough and you will find great deals on great things. Where else can you shop for clothes and pick up dinner in the same trip. But you know where my target has changed since I wrote this first review for the first half of this review. This is a two-story Target in Pasadena California. Its still as my favorite but man it has so many things out of stuck even 2 online same day pick-up I have to go to another Target nearby because this target doesnt have it I dont know what happened really at used to be the best Target. Now a lot of things are not in stock and shelves are empty. And I dont think its the offshore ships waiting to unload in Long Beach. Also only one type of pretzel can you believe it I was looking for pretzel sticks to decorate with with the white chocolate that I just purchased there I have to go to another store most likely Ralphs supermarket so that I can buy this item.

I generally like this location. It is always clean, but it has always been hard to get help. Now they are locking up everything from health and beauty to cleaning items. Half the sensors dont work and then you have to wait for someone to come and unlock the door. Pros: This target is massive. 2 floors and pretty much everything you ll ever need for the rest of your life. Okay parking. Cons: The store feels very understaffed. Lots of areas locked up and no staff members to assist. Leading to disgruntled customers which cause disgruntled workers which cause disgruntled customers, etc.

I had the most exceptional service from your customer service representative John today while looking for understanding and finally purchasing /setup a brand new consumer cellular phone from your Pasadena, Colorado / Lake store for my baby sister . John was absolutely wonderful! John clearly and concisely answered all of my questions. He thoroughly understood what I needed including the correct accompanying products.John made the whole experience so very simple and under budget with zero stress!!! I came home everything was all done and the phone was ready to use right away! Johns knowledge and technical expertise were outstanding! I cant recall in a long time having such wonderful Service as a customer. John made me feel valued as a customer ! Also Id like to give an outstanding to Iris as well for exceptional customer service! I left my glasses at home so I was having difficulties reading information. John was helping me immensely, however I said I would go find and purchase some glasses within the Target store because I knew it would take some time to complete what we were doing. Iris initiated her assistance by asking me what strength I needed, she went downstairs found the glasses and brought them up for me so that I could continue completing the activation of the new cell phone! This is what real customer service is! This is why I will continue going to the store Ill probably be going back before the end of next month and purchasing a television just because of the awesome service I received today. Employees are super helpful and nice. The place has a hige parking garage in the back. Stock is very limited, and most of the stuff is locked behind lock and key. I understand why they are doing it, but it makes shopping so hard.

Worst customer service! Many things locked behind glass and it took 10minutes and asking 3 different staff members before finding one to unlock. The staff here will not call for someone to come with the key and leave you hunting around for the right person. Complete waste of time.

I Love shopping at target but the customer service is the worst and the billing process horrible. I always like to pay on time as soon as I get my bill I did not received my bill on time as usually but they charging me the $ 29.00 fees Honestly so unfair I call them no one answer I went to the store no one help me I have to call again and again thats so annoying. one

Great store for in general needs and all around. Curbside or Drive Up (just make sure you select on my way and you wont wait much), to pick up said items and it is very convenient and great prices! Friendly staff (most of the time). Will keep coming back to this store!

Don t know what s happening with the Pasadena store. Self check out stand downstairs, all out of order. Wait time for cashier over 8 minutes before the line even moved. Self check line was around the bend. Totally ridiculous! I m not a happy customer. Please do Better!!!

The store is still messy in womans clothing and shoe dept.,and they really need to have more cashiers available,and teach them to acknowledge the customers. A simple hello or thanks for coming would be nice. And slow down on increasing your prices.!!

I walk to this location at least twice a week. Need a tide pen? Walk to Target. Craving sweets? Walk to target. Ran out of toilet paper and coffee? Walk to Target. Dont feel like dealing w the masses at Trader Joes but need some spinach? Walk to Target. I friggen LOVE this location. Open til 10pm, area is well-lit, staff is friendly, aisles are organized.

I like being able to shop on line and then just have hubby go and pick it up on his way home. That way I get what I need without having to go to the store and spend a whole lot more time, energy and usually money. Also, hubby doesnt have to do any shopping. He just goes in and picks it up and hes out the door in a few minutes.

Good selection of things once you know where everything is. Adult clothing, home cleaning, toiletries, snacks, shoes, paper goods, bath and toiletries all down stairs. Kids clothes, electronics, home furnishings, bedding, baby stuff, customer service desk are all upstairs. Pro tip: checkout lines upstairs are ALWAYS faster and have shorter lines than the checkout downstairs.

Its a huge target! Plenty of parking (3 levels worth). Lots of cashier stations + self serve (in case youre in a hurry). Theres a Starbucks as well as a CVS pharmacy inside. All friendly staff here.

This is a review of drive up service. Target needs to better explain or mark where the drive up service is. Walmart handles this so much better than target. All three targets Ive used drive up at have been woefully inadequate, mostly because they have dark parking garages no clear signage of where you are to go. And then the employees will argue with you and tell you it is your fault. There is a reason Ive only done target drive up three times sigh. Make your customer experience better or have the app tell customer what level order pickup is on.

I waited for 45 minutes for someone to come open this cabinet. The help button didn t work. I picked up the phone in a nearby aisle and it didn t work. I spoke with four different associates who walked by, none of whom had a key, all of whom assured me they d get someone who could open it. It s none of these people s faults individually, but you can t lock everything up and then trust nobody with the keys, especially three days before Christmas. Nobody ever came and I had to get to an appointment so I left empty handed.

Terrible customer service in store and on 800 customer service line. I was double charged for a product and was only offered a gift card. I will no longer be a Target customer after this experience.

I only give them 1 star. This happened before the year 2016, one day I was shopping at this target, my cashier was bagging EVERY customers merchandise, but when it was MY turn she didnt bag a single one of my items I had to bag them all myself. I regret not reporting her to her manager.
