I was pretty disappointed to walk in and find that in the Halloween clothing there was a shirt with the Ouija board on it. The location was kind of dirty and hard to navigate. There was hardly any staff members to assist you in case you needed help this location has really gone downhill, the prices were really super high like everywhere else and the customer service that an all time low. It’s very disappointing I think keeping her evil clothing in the front of the store is an awful horrible thing especially when it’s already been all over the news that people don’t really appreciate that. 10 out of 10 do not recommend this location.

This is my Target Pasadena store on Colorado Blvd. It used to be the old Fedco Pasadena store and Target took over after their 1999 bankruptcy. They are currently in the entire remodeling process to bring up to today's super department store standard and restocking almost every dept. I like the store because its nice and clean and most of the staffs are very friendly and helpful. They used to have a home gardening dept but it did not do well so they replaced by the grocery dept instead and they are still growing. Really like their toy dept and be able to purchase some of Lego products.

This is the worst target in the history of targets. Trash parking lot. Literally sloths run the cash registers. The same sloths probably managed the year long remodel and the store looks worse than it did before. White tile replaced by warehouse flooring. Cause they were aiming for a Costco experience? I love Target but not this one. Its also July, why isn’t there any outdoor set up. It looks like a bargain market with no selection. Not what Im used to with well managed Targets

Parking is always crazy here but that’s cause it is a convenient location and everyone loves Target!

I personally haven’t had any issues with this place. But I do agree the checkout lines are always super long and self-checkout is the best way to go (also has a long line too).

They have a CVS pharmacy inside and target groceries.

We were able to find what we needed here!

I ran in today to purchase a small item. No problem there. However, when I went to the restroom, I was literally taken back by how vile the bathroom was. All available stalls- their toilets were clogged to the brim with paper, open hand soap containers....containing no soap and filthy floors that look like it was mopped with dirty water. I was terrified. I went to the family restroom thinking it might be slightly less biohazardess, i was WRONG. Again, filthy, no soap, no toilet Seat protectors no paper towels. Let's do better Target & not spread diseases or make ones bathroom experience awful.

Store is great, but the old white hair skinny French guy at return service is a black-hole for good vibes. Here is the conversation: *after I chose the reason of return on the POS machine* - what s the reason for returning? - it s poorly made. - so you use it? - yes, but just .. - ok, ok, good enough for us to throw it away I hope he gets off the high horse and stop passive aggressive judging customers on not wanting to hold on poorly made product. If it s good, I ll keep it; if not good, I ll return and buy something else, I m already at the store and ready to spend more than I return Don t hate the participants, hate the game! Anyway, it s a waste of career that he doesn t become a police officer, because he knows how to provoke people and give the 3rd degree. The pick up order is not ready in two hours. I have checked all items are in the shelf. The staff was unwilling to prepare for the order right away. The staff insisted 2-hour poicly is not guaranteed. Since all items are in stock, why is it not guaranteed? It must be your efficiency and was unable to prepare for the order on time.

I ve had my fair share of poor experiences at target in general. Sometimes it really just depends on who s willing to help you without giving a bad attitude. I was having trouble returning a registry item of mine and my barcode was not working. The first employee initially declined helping me further but someone named Tony (who I assume was the front end manager) came over and accepted it. It wasn t just that he approved it that made my night, but his whole positive attitude and kind words, even congratulating me on my new baby. As someone who s worked in customer service for a good while, I really REALLY appreciate people like this and only hope they get the recognition they deserve.

The review below was from 2021. Today, I again, had the best experience at this Target! I am VERY sure that the staff at this particular location get a different training than any other Target. They are like a family, hold each other s back and offer professional yet very friendly service to the customers. This is my go to Target! Older - The customer service at this store is like no other! They are very helpful, quick to offer any advice or price update, and very time efficient!! Id like to give a shout out to a guy named Tony who helped me yesterday on Feb 13, 2021. I love coming to this Target (East Pasadena) way more than the other one down on Colorado just because of their warm customer service. Thank you for the great experience!

I like Target but I wonder why they have those buttons all around the store to call for help. I have never got it to work today I pushed the button waited 2 minutes pushed the button waited 2 minutes pushed the button way 2 minutes. No one ever came by. My other complaint is the website said my item was in stock and showed what isle it was in but it seemed they didnt have it in stock at all

One-star for completely hit-or-miss order pickup. I ve actually never had a hit it always takes way too long for someone to bring out your order (20-30 minutes). Today every spot was full so I did what the app said and parked nearby with my blinkers. After ten minutes I observed the same cars were parked in the pickup spots and no employee was bringing out any orders. Instead, one guy was going car to car talking to customers. So I walked over to him. He said they weren t bringing out orders at all because they were too backed up, but we could go inside and pick up our orders in person. Maybe this wouldn t be so terrible if the app actually told you that outright. Instead, you have to sit there and slowly realize that s the situation, and then spend more time waiting in line for your order. TLDR I m never doing order pickup at this location again. It s not worth the hassle.

Large store with good selections at a reasonable price. Employees mostly friendly and courteous. Parking is good. However, homeless frequents the parking lot, some mentally ill, so suggest you always carry your pepper spray there, and use it if needed for self defense.

rainbow-washing is when a company says it is lgbtq friendly when its actually not. targets raison detre is catering to women and minority groups. and in LA youre lucky enough that the main competition was basically banned. so let me school you: around one in three transgender persons experience homelessness, largely due to intolerance from family members which leaves us without an important safety net that most people have. call me buddy again and you might have a real reason to be upset.

I am a fan of Target overall but last night we went to the East Pasadena Store. I made my purchases and bought enough of 1 item to get a $15 gift card. I broke my purchases into 2 orders so I could use the gift card on the 2nd order. The cashier took the card out of the register and said Ill just leave it here because you want to use it immediately. He then does not apply it to my order. I leave not realizing the problem and figure Ill call when I get home and sort it out. I called 4 times last night, no one picked up. Ive called 7 times today with no one picking up. I finally tried the pharmacy who told me they could not transfer the call and that they hear the complaint all the tie that no one picks up the phone. HORRIBLE. Now I have to drive down there to talk with someone. Who runs this store? They should be replaced. The customer service is non-existent.

Awful service. They were out of sugar when trying to get ingredients for Thanksgiving meal. The service at guest services was the work that I have seen. The teenage/college employees were more concerned about talking to each other rather than helping customers. I m not going back.

DON T order for pick up at this LOCATION It s probably the worst Target I ve been. It s not the 3rd time I ordered for pick up, because the items I wanted most target around my area are sold out. I ordered the item the day before, the next day is still processing. I came inside customer service to ask and one of staff said sorry for lack of staffs , no one processing the order. Meanwhile I saw 3 employees just stand there and chat?!!? It wasn t me who the only one to complaint there and it happened to me many times here . They are not going to pick up for you! I have received two vaccinations at Target: one for flu the other for Covid. Both experiences were so easy and smooth. Even though I went to the wrong Target for my flu vaccine, they were able to give it to me and cancel my appointment at the other store. Terrific service and kind employees. I love Target.

Be really vigilant checking items for expiration dates. Was in the store tonight (8/24) for several items and could not locate or buy them because they were either out (which I understand), or WAY expired. Here s a photo of one, with an expiration date from JULY. Another huge stack was from August 10 (also expired), and I also located yogurts with expiration dates from weeks ago, as well as chicken tenders that expired earlier this week. I would have taken more photos, but my phone died. There were lots of things I couldn t buy due to the condition of the items. In addition - teenagers were running throughout the store bouncing into things and knocking things over, employees were not friendly and unhelpful (and didn t seem to care about the former), and I couldn t wait to get out of there. They re in the middle of refurbishing the bathrooms and reorganizing the store, so the employees may just be burnt out, and I feel sorry for them. But management really needs help. In addition to all of the above items, their bathrooms have always been in deplorable, unsanitary conditions (feces smeared on walls, paper everywhere, etc.) and I ve written twice about it - now that they re being redone, hopefully that will change ? But I wince having to go in person into this store, and yet again this evening - I felt the same.

I m specifically writing this review to commend Tony the manager. I was in the store between the hour of 11-12 today. I was in line paying when suddenly every cashier line was busy and there was a lot going on and many needed help with something. Tony the manager was on top of every problem that arose and was very accommodating. Good job to him, it s been a while since a manager of a store took care of business in a kind and speedy manner!

i never write reviews but i was really disappointed by this location. i used to work at target up until a few months ago, so i know the inner workings of the system. this morning i had placed a pickup order and it s been over four hours and it s still not ready. there honestly isn t a realistic explanation as to why an order placed on a wednesday morning, not any time near a holiday, should take over four hours. this isn t the first time this happened either. be mindful that if you place an order for pickup here, you will not be getting it anytime soon. edit: it ended up being around NINE hours when i cancelled it since it STILL wasn t ready to be picked up. I went in store and the worker said that orders are put in a random order so he had no idea when it would be ready. (this isn t even true!!) all in all, the worst experience i ve had at a store, sorry!

Target is doing better. I dont like that their shelves look empty. But they are trying to keep it clean. They have some things expensive and some things cheap. The clothing department is very confusing. Every time I buy pants, the size, even though I get the same size, depending on the color it fits or doesnt. Its frustrating. I always have to return them.

Did a pickup (drive up) order and was given purified drinking water instead of distilled water. The labels are two different colors (blue vs green) which should have been pretty clear on the scanner and the correct item has to be scanned to be scanned for the order to be cleared. In my opinion, the person looking for the items scanned the label on the shelf and not the actual item or else they item wouldnt have gone through. I wanted to inform the store but no one at customer service bothered to answer. Will hopefully be able to return the items at a different target. The second star is for the guys who dropped off my items. They were nice and polite. I understand people make mistakes but the whole point of me making a drive up order was so I wouldnt have to deal with 5 gallons of water and now I have to lug them back to the store. This is just based off my experience with driveup. I havent been in the store myself and it could be a very nice store.

On two separate orders, i was charged $1 for bags = $2. I only used maybe two bags per order so you overcharged me by $1.60. They were online orders that i picked up yesterday. Also, There was no link in the app to reach customer service. That s even worse!!

No Motorcycle Parking available. Just tons of car parking, bicycle parking and even parking for police cars to sit. With gas prices hitting $6 I invested into a Motorcycle Maxi Scooter. Motorcycles are vulnerable to theft in parking lots that force them to park in car parking far away from an entrance. There is no reason not to have at least one Motorcycle parking spot. Four Motorcycles can share a well located parking spot at the same time. I had seen a few Maxi Scooters and Motorcycles parked to the left of the bicycle racks, but when I went to customer service to ask about it, they told me theyre not allowed to park there and they have no Motorcycle parking. Ill start shopping at other stores that provide motorcycle parking or are less congested. Otherwise the store is usually well stocked. Has a decent CVS pharmacy inside that gives you a $5 store coupon after you refill a set number of prescriptions, has frozen food and small fresh vegetables available at a reasonable price. Other than one of its managers, Ive only encountered positive and helpful employees. One big issue however, this location does not hire enough human cashiers and depends heavily on its self-checkout terminals. During my most recent visit, there were thirty people in the self-checkout line, and only three cashiers.

Pick up took 20mins to come out, non drive up customers were parked in drive up spots. My order was partially cancelled and I was not informed until arrival, even after email confirmation that my complete order was ready.

It was a good trip to Target, not too crowded and the people shopping where very outgoing and had a good energy to the store. I came for 1 item but left with many. The lines moved at an alright pace.

This location is the worst and Target wont do anything to protect their customers. I purchased a gift card and birthday card last Friday march 25th meant for a birthday party I was attending on Saturday. I gave the gift card at the birthday party on Saturday (party began at 3pm) I recieved a phone call from my family member on Tuesday night that following week that the gift card was empty. I called the number on the gift card. They said it was used at Target on the 26th at 11:26 am. This could not be true because we hadnt even gifted the card until after 3pm that past Saturday. I went straight to the location where the manager communicated to me this has happened before. Someone basically stole 50 bucks from me and Target said I have to wait 45 to 90 days for a resolution from VISA. Why? The card was spent at your location???!This means! This means this will probably happen again to someone else. Attached is the email where Target doesnt even look into it. Do not buy gift cards here. They will not take responsibility for anything. Even though the card I purchased was used at Target before we even gave the card away. Go shop here if you like getting jipped. So disappointed.

Usually great experience at the order pick in Pasadena East Target. Today, I was completely ignored while standing in the order pick up line. Holiday staff need more training, please put regular employees at customer service kiosk - not holiday staff.

Id give this Target 4 stars as I usually find what Im looking for when visiting. HOWEVER, they have now started using a line/queue system for checkout requiring customers to enter a line. I understand the concept however based on my experience, it does not work. I was deterred from visiting again as I figured Id have to wait in a line, before waiting in another line.

The Red Card discount is really terrific. 5% on all purchases so think of it as canceling half of your sales tax. Also, use the Cartwheel discounts for more savings.
