Sprouts Farmers Market

I went to Sprouts Farmers Market and purchased beans the other day and went to open them tonight. No joke. 25% of the can is beans after the liquid was drained. I'm so angry. They literally ruined dinner. 2 cans doesn't even fulfill what 1 can should offer.

Decided to finally leave a review of this Sprouts after shopping here for years. What made me finally decide to leave a review after all these years? Well, I'm tired of these workers talking badly about customers, in front of other customers, about the troubles people encounter. Checking out, the cashier had her back turned to us while speaking to her co-worker who was bagging groceries. We could tell that the conversation she was about to have was unfortunately interrupted by us wanting to check out. "Oh...hi" then proceeded with her conversation. Okay, no pleasantries, cool, check us out, we pay, and we go. But she decided to speak about a customer, not speak, but have a comedic laugh, who came in with coins to pay for their $2 of groceries and was having a hard time counting their coins. Why? Why would it be funny to laugh in a situation where someone is struggling? Makes no sense to laugh at others who struggle, it just puts a perception of the type of person you are and the type of people Sprouts lets work there. Working with the public means knowing that people come from all walks of life and that when we struggle, we don't need people laughing about it, using us a comedic punchline. It was a terrible interaction and one of the reasons why I stopped shopping at this Sprouts often. Only reason there are 2 stars is because of the bulk section.

[08/07/2024 4:11 pm visit]. When I visited the deli department, I wanted to purchase 0.5 lb of Ovengold turkey breast. Despite my attempts to get their attention by saying "Hi there, Hello, Hello," Can I get the……the two workers at the deli counter were far away from me and had their backs turned. Before I could finish my sentence, a woman, who appeared to be Vietnamese or Filipino, turned to me and brusquely said, "I'm busy, I have an order in my hand, can't you see ? Write on a piece of paper."（"Previously, I used to write it down on paper, but sometimes they say not to waste paper and just tell them directly." ）I tried to be patient and understanding, stating that I wasn't angry and that my health is the most important thing. （I have a serious heart condition! ）I mentioned that I would buy some fish first and return later. When I came back, I observed the same woman slamming bread and mumbling something about "Chinese, Chinese." Feeling uncomfortable and targeted, I asked her, "Why are you so mean to me?" I then asked why she was saying "Chinese, Chinese," and if she was being racist. At this point, her coworker intervened and said, "I can't cut it for you if you say that."Her coworker didn't even know what happened. Being so rude to me. "I am Chinese, and my English is not very good, but that is not a reason for you to bully me. What era do you live in?""I don’t know what you’ve been through that makes you so unhappy and irritable." If you don’t like this job, you can leave or do whatever you want—that's your problem. Don’t bring your negative emotions to others！！！"The security guards and the front desk cashiers are very friendly. And the staff who organize the shelves are also very friendly.I really like this supermarket."
But this response was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I asked to speak to the manager, who eventually came and asked if I had received my order. "When I went to find the manager, the troublemaker complained first, saying that I shouted at her. In reality, she was the one yelling at me." I expressed my concern and suggested they check the surveillance footage to see for themselves who was shouting. "Why not check the surveillance video to see who is lying?" Unfortunately, the manager seemed indifferent and went into the deli department and even smiled with the woman, indicating favoritism！！！

I was extremely disappointed after visiting several stores and not finding any potato chips with no salt. No wonder people are struggling with high blood pressure! At this location, I looked on every shelf but had no luck. Finally, I asked one of the workers if they had any no-salt potato chips. She immediately paged an employee named Jarrett.

Jarrett was incredibly helpful and genuinely tried to find chips that would accommodate my diet, but unfortunately, there were none available. His assistance gave me hope that not all employees are just there for the paycheck. Jarrett is very knowledgeable about healthy eating and the benefits of making healthy choices.

Thank you, Jarrett, for your outstanding service. You are a great asset to Sprouts Farmers Market.

Sprouts Farmers Market sits on the site of the old Circuit City in Pasadena. Exiting the Eastbound lane of the Interstate 210 at Rosemead in the City of Pasadena staying in the right lane about 100 feet the first driveway on the right is entrance from Rosemead Blvd. The store is located at the corner of Rosemead Blvd and Colorado Blvd. There is another entrance on Colorado Blvd and Beacon Place. There is are a large U type parking lot one way in each direction. There is some side parallel parking on the adjacent lots.
The hours are 7:00 A. M. to 10 P. M. daily. There is one entrance with a COVID-19 Check Point where your hands are sprayed with a cleaning solution. There is a clean restroom in the store. The staff is very friendly and will help you find anything in the store. I usually just buy raspberry and blueberry for breakfast. I have been to store where when I go home, I would throw away half of the box of raspberry. I found the Dole Raspberry very good there. Then their blueberries were also very good. My daughter said I should he more salads. I found several kinds of salads all with the expiration date clearly shown. Then I found the Olive station. This is full-service store with a butcher, milk, cheese, wine, vegetables fruits, vitamins, nuts, sandwiches and candy.

Very unprofessional cashier.

- She asked me what was the name of the fruit I was buying, so I googled it for her (it was an uncommon fruit) but she then turned to ask another cashier to ask the name. If you don’t believe me, then why did you ask me??

This supermarket is fantastic! The fruits and vegetables are very fresh, and the staff are all very friendly. I really enjoy shopping here, even if it means taking a longer route.One more thing Vannessa is amazing!

I was in the area and stopped in to get a sandwich. The deli clerks were really nice. My cashier was a older man. Excellent customer service from my cashier. He was very nice. If Im ever in the area ill go in there just because of the great customer service!A job well done!

There are good deals at times for their organic items, but you definitely need to take advantage of the 2fer1 and bogo50% off deals when they have them, as well as their 20 to 30% off vitamin deals for sure.

When it comes to getting groceries I frequent the same stores, but Im always down to try a new location. I decided to try the Sprouts location in Pasadena. The parking lot was spacious and easy to access. The store setup is a lot more spacious than other locations Ive visited, you dont feel as if youre bumping elbows with other shoppers on the aisle. Overall the store was very clean and well organized. As for customer service, I past at least four employees from the time I entered the store and began shopping, not one said hello, can I help you or even smiled. Having a sales/customer service background this is always a huge disappointment! I think its really important to be pleasant and helpful, especially when people have so many options to spend their money elsewhere. Theres a new Amazon Fresh store, right down the street. Once I get the were just here, please dont bother us vibe, I try my best to do just that! I was on the search for wild caught salmon in the meat department, going back and forth, without a clue! Determined not to bother any of the employees that walked by and watched me searching, eye contact and everything...lol At this point Im laughing to myself and ready to go, but before I could leave, I hear Hello, do you need help with anything . I said yes please and Marco the store manager found the wild caught salmon I was looking for. Thank you Marco for being observant, pleasant and helpful, I appreciate you and your efforts to provide good customer service. So for convenient parking, store organization and cleanliness this store was great! But to drive 30min and spend my money where the customer service is were here, but dont ask, no thanks, Ill try my luck elsewhere. People forget alot of things, but not how they are treated or how you made them feel. Great customer service trumps everything in my book.

Really, no fresh grapefruit juice, no more Uncle Matt s?. No bricks of pepper jack cheese other than goat? No help bagging unless I pay for your bags? You re most expensive frozen shrimp have more than six tails with no shrimp attached? No more good packs of kumato tomatoes? Now just expensive small cocktail kumato s? You only have old dried up poblano chilies? Wow, that s too many strike for one trip to the market! I will give two stars because some of the limited produce is nice, tho not that much better than big box markets. The young man today in produce was very responsive and helpful. Other than that, it was a negative experience. This is not the first time I have been disappointed at this pasadena location. And not the first time I walked away going to a second store for basics. It seems like this Sprout s is about expensive health foods and potions. On a a current market survey, I noticed this is now one of the most expensive markets in Pasadena. Your store used to be better! I used to spend hundreds each trip. Now will take my money elsewhere.

During the pandemic, I started ordering via their app (or Instacart. They accept orders from either). Im still getting my groceries that way because its just so easy and the staff are great at choosing produce. Just pull up to the marked parking spots by the front door, youre groceries are loaded in your car, then drive away. Love it!

No earthshaking Revelations about shopping at Sprouts Market from me. Selection is fair at best. Prices are quite expensive. Nice-looking produce and meat. Limited selection for other household needs but no surprise there. My two bags cost $92 but there you go. I dont think I would be going back. I went back to Sprouts today because Ralphs was packed. Decent prices this time . But when I asked if they had diet cola the almost snooty response was no, they carried organic and natural beverages mostly, which is all well and good. mostly. My beverage choice apparently isnt up to their standards.

Staff werent really friendly or helpful or motivated to work. There were at least 20 people packed into the area waiting to get to the ONE open register. Other staff just became onlookers to growing line without any attempts to jump in and help. Management should have jumped in to bring lines down but again, no on seemed like they even wanted to be there.

This was my first time at a Sprouts. The deli section was amazing. I had the best sandwich prepared. The veggies were all fresh, and the quality of the meat and cheese was great. It was priced very well too. Everyone was very friendly too.

Locals are spot on when they say its the Whole Foods meets Trader Joes hybrid. Awesome! I remember shopping at Sprouts in the OC years ago and recalling them to be more expensive. I think they must have changed their business model a bit to make their price point more friendly. I really like this store and have taken to shopping here pretty exclusively. I wish there was one more convenient to me, but Ill take what I can get. Its really made the chore of grocery shopping a lot more pleasant for me. Im a fan of their meat section. They have a lot of products that are free range, antibiotic free, hormone free, etc...you get the idea. Ive been very happy with the quality. I buy their seafood every week. Produce is also really good, fresh and a large organic section with prices being comparable to the non-organic. Its hard to find grass fed dairy products that dont cost a fortune, but they are very reasonable here. Ive bought a lot of fresh herbs here that were a great addition to my garden. My bottom line is it can be expensive to be consciously aware of what youre putting in your body. Not everyone can eat organic all the time. I know I cant, but I do the best I can with what Ive got. The store is always clean, well stocked and employees are helpful and friendly.

I frequent this market for their great produce options and prices. They also offer a really nice variety of healthy food options as well as plenty of vegan food choices. Enduring is fresh and delicious, staff is friendly and helpful, product is well stocked and clean and organized. The one down side is the higher pries on many items, but organic foods and healthier groceries tend to cost more in general. I will continue to be a regular Sprouts customer and I recommend the market to anyone interested in trying it out.

The Pasadena store seems to have a wider variety of most items in store than the Whittier store, I feel that the Whittier store employees are more knowledgeable and helpful about items on shelves, and the supplements available. Either store is enjoyable to shop in, so I will return.

The store is known for their healthy products, with the exception of their baked good. I have a sweet tooth, but I cant seem to find myself buying a bakery product laced with chemical preservatives. Would it kill you to provide options with more wholesome ingredients?

it has lots of organic produce and fruits to select. The price is reasonable. I recommend to go if you an organic fan.

Shout out to Dylan, James and Eric at this store for Going the extra mile for a lost wallet. This shares a snapshot of reputable and trustworthy values within the team. I came in to shop here for the first time and accidentally left my wallet in the restroom. When I went back to look for it, it was gone. Once I let the staff at the cash register know, they contacted the staff in charge of cleaning the restrooms and even checked the cameras to find out who mightve found it. It was great to know they found it, kept it safe as lost and found. Thank you for making time to help me locate my wallet. It makes a positive difference knowing the team at this store does the right thing! I also observed that there was good communication and camaraderie amongst teammates and between the staff and customers. Store was well stocked, clean and organized which add to making shopping at sprouts pleasant experience.

Out of 5 items I came for, 2 were out of stock, and it was almost impossible to get help looking.

Cold cuts lady very unhelpful. Had me wait w/o even acknowledging me. And no one was at the counter but me. Nobody is that busy.

One of my favorites about Sprouts is the bulk nuts and candy. Their 12 flavor gummi bears are a treat as well as the honeycomb candy.

Solid selection of organic, vegetarian, and vegan foods. No line at the cashier made purchasing swift. Although prices may be considered somewhat greater relative to other grocerie stores, food should make up for it. Come on by for health conscious foods!

Love this place. Always clean and have everything I want. Its hard to beat that place when you get everything you want. By the way its the only place I get Monkfruit sugar at a decent price and I get to weigh the quantity.
