If you are looking for Authentic Mediterranean Food made from generations of family recipes, Abu Kebab is the place for you! The food is Always made fresh to order, the taste is delicious, and the portions are generous. The owner takes great pride in serving food made from his family's recipes and you will taste the quality from the first bite.

Even if you are not local to Pasadena, the drive is well worth it. I live 20 miles away and dine there regularly, and I thoroughly enjoy it every time.

They also have a Pop Up Stand 2-3 times per week at Rancho Bar in Altadena 2485 Lake Ave.

Been here twice and both times, my company and I have been satisfied and impressed by their quality of food and level of care.

Everything we had tasted very fresh and seasoned well, and our favorites are lule, babaganoush, hummus, garlic paste, spicy chili sauce, tabbouleh, tzatziki, and chicken shawarma. The lule was cooked to perfection and the chicken shawarma was tender and moist. My least favorite was the baklava as it didn’t feel as crispy and sticky as I like it but I liked that it wasn’t overly sweet. But it was still good!

Their portion is so big that one plate always yields two servings. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, the staff are also very kind and happy to answer questions.

I came with my service dog and the owners were so kind and inviting! I always feel guilty bringing a dog where food is being served but I need her. They gave her water and didn t bother me at all. The owners are doing it all by themselves too. They work so hard, this is the type of place I d spend all my money on. They re so cute Then the food came - woaaah. It was so good I went back and bought another plate with baklava. Huge portion of bomb food for $25 too. I sat outside and had a Mountain View while we ate which made my experience here even better!!

The food is delicious here! I ordered the chicken breast wrap with a side salad. My mom ordered the chicken breast plate with hummus and a side salad and our friend ordered the lamb chop plate. It was all so good and flavorful! The portions were great too and well presented. The service is friendly and attentive and it s a clean, nicely decorated place. We will definitely come back!

Stopped in for the second time today for lunch and was blown away! the Shawarma Wrap was super flavorful and a very generous portion. Food was very fresh. I definitely recommend coming by for lunch or dinner! They just got their beer and wine license and cannot wait to get back for a warp and a beer. Ive been eyeing that catering menu as well. Absolutely sublime! The beef shawarma was tender and prepared with delicious seasoning. I ve never tasted anything like it. The rice was perfectly cooked and perfect with the beef. BEST OF ALL were the falafel balls crisp and flavorful outside that somehow carried through the middle. The falafels are a combination of perfectly crisp without being dry or soggy. Then there are the people: warm, friendly, hospitable, and very competent. Thank you for great food and amazing service.

First, the chicken breast kabob was juicy and tasty. The spicy and garlic sauce is perfection to dip in your chicken kabobs. The Sharma tasty and very cooked but not dry. The olive oil they use is good so the tabouli and Cucumber salad is fresh and flavorful. Good Olive oil makes a big difference. Also the hummus is delicious better than heidarbab, kankou chicken. Way better quality and care in food prep. This is a must go. I will come back. So far its my favorite place for meditteranean food in pasadena.

We ve been coming here for so long under the previous ownership as well as the new. We also order through Postmates/Uber eats frequently. My daughter and I both love this restaurant. The staff is always very friendly and they re very accommodating with any changes that we may need in our order. They always get our order perfect. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody. Do not order through Ritual! They will charge you and the restaurant wont get your order or the money. The owners have tried to have it removed from online order options, but theres no contact info, and they dont give you a cancel order option. Its a scam that Google needs to get rid of. Its no fault of the owners. They are very nice and accommodating and dont deserve the negativity from something beyond their control. That said, the food is great. Its fresh, the chicken kebab was perfect, and parking is easy enough before 6.

We had plates, which came with rice and sides. Everything was perfectly spiced and homemade. The only thing to watch out for is the grilled tomato and pepper, which was very spicy, but delicious if youre into that. The hummus was our favorite part of the meal. Its made from scratch and tastes amazing. Service was fast and friendly.

I have been coming to this place since a few years ago. They have the best kabob in the 626 area in my opinion. They used to offer check-in on yelp for an extra side, but it is now replaced with a free fountain drink (that s still a good offer, but I just prefer the side). The quality of meat is always the same, very flavorful, juicy, and tender! Chicken kabob is my favorite, and I would always pick fries, hummus, and cucumber salad. The plate usually come with rice. I was here yesterday, and the A/C was strong. I could feel the air was blowing on my head. I approached the cashier, and she told me that the A/C is actually off. She mentioned that the A/C might be malfunction. It was a bit uncomfortable to eat in such a cold room. I will continue to come back and support small business.

Beef lule was so disgusting I wouldn t feed it to a dog. It was like it was barely seasoned,frozen and reheated like 3 times. The salad was okay. I feel like maybe there is poor management, they were understaffed and the employees were genuinely trying.

There are multiple Mediterranean places probably within a 10 mile radius just about anywhere, if you really have that craving. This place is one I would not return to even if I lived across the street. Please do keep in mind the employees do try to give it the best go as possible. However with the buildings interior and server lack of budgeting even for decent paint that is now peeling off the walls is very prevalent, and off putting to put it lightly. There was one other person that came into order on a Friday night while I was there, no need to say more the lack of upkeep and customers speaks for itself.

1. Good portions. The picture was after my husband took out half. We paid $15.99. 2. The actual food was absolutely delicious. I think Im ordering again tomorrow. 3. Chicken lule was fave. The schwarma a little salty but Im just a little sensitive to salt. Husband didnt feel it salty. The mustard dip they give helped. Rice was perfect. 4. One star removed because they changed my order and didnt tell me. It was disappointing when I got home. They subbed Tabouleh for the hummus I ordered. If they wouldve told me when I picked up, it wouldnt have been so upsetting. So check your order. And restaurant should tell us of subs. 5. When reached out to complain, they offered free side of hummus next time I order. Which will be tomorrow because it was so yummy.

we are a regular customer, but today was very disappointed in a phone order. please, 1. make sure what you order. they got the wrong one when we get there. 2. get a receipt after you paid. we ordered Chicken Lule, but he made Chicken Thigh. we accepted the change, but he charged 13.99 instead of 12.99. He didnt give me the receipt. It was just another bad day. Cheater never prosper.

Not really authentic. First timer on 11/22/19 and I was disappointed. Grilled veggies consisted of 1 tomato and a jalapeño. Hummus was cold and has no flavor. Pita bread was so thin and sparce! They didnt even give me a full pita with my meal! Yogurt/cucumber dip was too sour and not much flavor. The beef kabob was probably the only thing that was ok.

Our absolute favorite kabobs in the San Gabriel Valley! We are there at least once or twice a week. The rice and lentil soup are amazing, as well! We are there on Wednesdays so much, we are known as the Kabob Wednesday people. We bring people here all the time an no one is ever disappointed!

Very bad business practice. After reading the reviews for this place, me and my wife decided to give it a try, unfortunately, we left hungry. At 8:00 pm, we arrived at the cafe, excited to try it out. After looking at the menu we placed our order, and I was about to pay when the cashier asked, is this order to go. I said, no, we will be dinning in. Then he said, we dont take orders for dinning in, we are closing soon. Confused with his response, I look at the business hours, and I said, thats 1 hour away, and we will be finish eating way before you close. Than he said, we start our closing duties 1 hour before. You can take your food, and eat it elsewhere. At that time, I politely decline the offer, left the cafe, and went down the street to a different restaurant to eat........ Message to the owner: I used to be a business owner myself, and I understand the desire to want to close up on a time. However, I wouldnt turn customers away especially one hour away from closing. Remember, you need your customer more than they need you.

Place is dirty and unkempt. Stack of dirty plates near the door . Seat covers are torn on couple of benches. Table tops were not clean,had to ask twice before it was cleaned. Do not eat there.

Everything was good minus the yogurt cucumber which is so salty I had to mix when i put on my plate with hummus.

Not all their food is Halal only the lamb. Make sure you ask first before you order. The service is great, they take long to make the food but it tastes good. The owner is really nice and friendly guy. I would go here again when Im in town.

Great food. Cooked to order. You can easily drive past this place so slow down and pay attention.
