First time trying CAVA! The food is healthy and flavorful. So many options and combinations for you to choose from. The staff are very polite. Overall, I had a pleasant experience! Money well spent for a nutritious & tasty $14 bowl.

Ordered a Greens and Grain bowl with almost all the toppings. This is a great option if you're looking for something heavier than a simple salad, especially after a long workout. I ordered just before closing so apologies and thanks to the staff for helping to get my order through. Location is easy to find, clean, there is some free parking behind this complex in their parking structure but I don't remember if it was time limited. This was the order. Went here while visiting my friend. I got the chicken avocado pita wrap and it did NOT disappoint, even though they were out of the roasted corn. I usually don’t like pickled onions either but it truly made the sandwich. I loved it so much when I got home I looked into what it would take to start my own franchise so I could have it in my hometown in Michigan 😂 from now on I’ll be looking for Cava restaurants anytime I visit a new city.

He was incredibly apologetic from the beginning as they've only had about 3 limited ingredients for a couple days now. He had a smile on his face the entire time! The AC has also been out for a while, I actually feel bad that they have to work under these conditions. CAVA corporate!!! Please get the AC working for these awesome employees. These are unacceptable conditions for anyone to work under.

I'm obsessed with cava and wish there were more near me. But I finally went to the one in Pasadena. It was same as usual. Service was quick. I like that they list the calories for each item so you can keep that in mind while you order. Food was amazing as always

I cannot express in words how wonderfully delicious CAVA is. I am absolutely hooked!! My go to bowl is half super greens and brown rice. Of course the Saffron Basmati rice is incredible, I just figure the brown is a healthier option. You can’t go wrong with any of the dips and spreads. I am into spice, so harissa and crazy feta are a must. Then I switch between eggplant and red pepper hummus, depending on my mood. My main dish is always grilled chicken and roasted veggies. Yum! Next have at it with your favorite toppings. I finish off with pita crisps and the garlic and skhug dressings. Told you I like it spicy. Be sure to download the app and scan your QR code at each visit. The rewards add up quickly, especially for a regular like me. I’m an Epicure for those who understand what that is! ENJOY. I’m sure I’ll bump into you at my next visit. 😋

Dining room was incredibly hot! There was one person in front of us in line, yet it took 16 minutes before it was our turn to order our lunch. Very mediocre food. This was our first visit...ever...to a Cava and it will be our last.

There s always something wrong or missing from orders when I place delivery orders. Whenever I place a pick up order online, I have to wait 30 minutes to an hour more after the scheduled pickup time. The staff is very unprofessional and rude as well.

lf you want something tasty, well seasoned, and filling, then CAVA on South Lake is a must! If youve never had Mediterranean cuisine and dont know what to order, no worries, staff will help you build your own delicious meal. Speaking of staff, they were all unexpectedly friendly AND helpful; no snarky comments under their breath or lady please hurry up looks. These folks, man were they efficient! No time for you to scroll on your phone! The line moves super fast. I ordered a create your own bowl with the Supergreens mix, rice, harissa chicken (spicy) and a whole lot of extra goodies piled on top. Also ordered a tiny bag of fried garlic pita. IF YOU GO THERE, GO THERE HUNGRY! My only complaint is that the signage inside is too small. Bring binoculars to read the menu.

Terrible. Came in and straight away the worker was rude. He was throwing the bread from the grill and one dropped yet he put it back in the bowl He was shoving everything around and in a terrible mood, it ruined mine! He didnt understand anything that I wanted even though I was clear on what I wanted on it. By the time he finished making two dishes, I sat to eat and it was all cold!! He looked like it was his first day on earth. Had to throw it away. He was a black, younger man. Absolutely not acceptable.

This location try s to nickel and dime you. If you ask to make an adjustment to any of the bases, like a little extra spinach or rice they will say that will be extra.

All tables were dirty and no employee bothered to clean them. Employees are young but no customer service experience whatsoever. Employees barely open their mouths to interact with customer, definitely lack manners & politeness,, 0% customer service. If I was the owner I would either hire new staff or give some serious training to employees.

Long lines but worth it. This chain has something for everyone and a lot of options to put into your build-your-own bowls compared to Chipotle. If you like Mediterranean cuisine I would definitely suggest checking Cava out!

The food itself is great . when it s available. There s a 90% chance one of the items you want won t be available. Chalk it up to the influx of Caltech students all day long, but it s still annoying nonetheless. The lines can be frustratingly long. Other Cava s are great but this one s a mixed bag depending on the time of day. Not sure if it s because this is a relatively new location, not enough staff, or poor management.

Seems like a victim of poor management. Used to come here semi-regularly, but might be the last time. Tons of missing ingredients. When we said they should post if theyre missing so many ingredients, they said they used to but management said they cant anymore. Feels like the same issues with Chipotle spreading to Cava.

I ordered for take out and was disappointed to find out that at least half of the ingredients was missing from my bowl. For almost $20 in a bowl, I was hoping that everything I asked for was in my meal but it wasn t. I get that it could get busy and things get hectic but I just wish that someone would double check the orders to see if everything is there.

We have been eyeing Cava for so long now but we finally bit the bullet a couple of days ago. The food was good; however, they need to figure out a better way to manage their staff or something because it took over 25 minutes just to even order. I understand its busy, but yall should have enough staff to keep the drinks/utensils/other supplies well stocked and CLEAN. The ice dispenser had some kind of gunk on it and the Jasmine tea was just continuously dripping onto the counter, then onto the floor. They also kept running out of chicken. If its your most popular item, yall should probably prep/cooke more of it to prepare for the lunch rush? To me, it looked like they had enough people working, but not well managed. Staff seemed exhausted and dont want to be there.

Food tastes okay but the management is terrible, they are always out of an unacceptable amount of items by noon including bowls and pitas. Their drinks are often so watered down that they aren t worth paying for. If they could get the management and ordering of items functional it would be a fine place, but being out of half of your menu at noon on a regular basis is just ridiculous

The customer here has gone very down hill. I used to come here about once a week and always had a good experience, but today I was met with unhappy and unenthusiastic workers. I came in around 4 and it was almost completely empty and the person making our bowl was rolling their eyes and was not very pleasant. Not only was the service terrible but the food portions decreased significantly and we were overcharged with what we ordered. It was 20 dollars for a half empty bowl. Kinda ridiculous, is this the chiptolification of Cava?

Customer service was awful i was ordering my plate and she was about to add 2 things to my plate i didnt ask for i told her and she seem bothered. My pita bread was touching the counter the whole time it just seem unsanitary. the girl who checked me out at the counter quickly turned around and left and never handed me receipt or my drinks. my plate seem less than half full just disappointed overall.

Workers were very unprofessional including the manager. Especially being out of most toppings. Knowing this. You would think they would be more accommodating to customers. Girl serving the toppings would roll her eyes if we asked for a replacement topping instead. Then the manager was upset when asked for an extra dressing. I m not comparing, but the customer service at chipotle is better. It s all about the experience. Btw. CAVA in Santa Clarita is much better. Not dinging like this place. Food is always great at Cava but this location is the stingiest I ve been too. You can see the servers consciously trying to avoid giving you too much, scooping some white rice with the thin spoon, then shaking it off to make sure you don t get too much. Manager needs to work on this, and corporate Cava should take a close look as this doesn t represent the name well.

We placed the order way ahead for 12:30 and it is currently 1:12 and they just started making them, all of our orders included extra toppings and it seems like none of the bowls were remotely filled as much as ordering in store, and two orders were missing pita crisps. Food is good but never order online.

They were late making my online order, and they were out of a bunch of sauces two hours before closing, and didn t indicate that online. My order had missing items, and both my bowls were made entirely wrong. I figured that if they were out of items, they d ask me for substitutions since I was sitting there for so long, but unfortunately that didn t happen! The lady at the cashier with a nose piercing definitely had an attitude and made me feel like I was bothering her by picking up my online order. This is my first time at Cava so this was definitely disappointing, not sure if I ll be returning which is a shame because the food seems great.

This pains me to write because I LOVE Cava, but this store is always a hot mess. The staff needs some serious motivation because something is always wrong, missing, sold out, or it takes 30/45 minutes PAST the pick up window to get your food. I almost always order ahead because the restaurant is consistently disgusting. And I m not even someone who s particularly hell bent on orderliness or exceptional cleanliness. To be fair, staff is usually pretty friendly despite this. Gonna keep getting food though, because it really is that delicious. But I m really rooting for the Pasadena location to get it together because there s only one or two other Cavas in LA that are super out of the way. Please, y all, you can do it!

It took over 25 minutes to order and sit down with our food. The floor, the drink station, and the tables were all filthy. The staff clearly had minimal experience/training as they did not know how to assemble the Greek Chicken Pita; they had to consult a plastic card repeatedly to try to get it right. The cashier sold me two large drinks, but failed to tell me they had no black iced tea (and strangely didnt seem intent on replacing the presumably exhausted iced tea). And parking is less than ideal. Food was above average.

The only thing that saved this experience as a first-time patron was the food. The food was delicious, however this location was very dirty and off-putting. I paid for a drink and just ended up getting water in my cup because the refreshment area was completely empty and it looked like it hadnt been cleaned for days there was only some lemonade that was left besides the sodas. The staff was friendly but they need to get better at maintaining cleanliness of the establishment.

The food was delicious, but the staffs expressions were dark and unfriendly. The stores trash cans were overflowing and dirty. There were no forks or napkins, so I asked the staff for them, but it took a long time and they refilled the food with a tired expression and left without saying sorry. In order for Cava to grow further, it needs to pay more attention to friendly training for its employees and clean stores. I ordered 5 dishes, but I dont want to go again next time.

Just came back from this place. Place seemed off despite not being busy. Bunch of staff congregating in the front and not serving customers. One worker in particular (young Latina with glasses) was pretty hostile and had to be prompted several times to attend to me in which she turned around after each interaction to pretend I wasn t there. Left 2 stars instead of one. For the nice gentlemen ( tall African American) who tended to me and apologized on their behalf. Safe to say I won t be stopping here like I used to !

If ADHD was a restaurant. Every time I ve been to Cava, their food is delicious, but the service makes it an inconvenience to come here. There s ALWAYS a long line, no matter the time of day. Majority of the workers are running around without a specific task. A man was mopping the floor for 2 minutes and then followed behind the only other person making bowls doing nothing but staring into the distance . While I was about to pay for my order, someone said they didn t get their drink, which led to the same guy (who decided to be the cashier for a few minutes) scavenge for cups around the entire restaurant, leaving me to stand there for a couple minutes as he failed to discover where in fact they did keep the cups! As previously mentioned by other reviews, there are 9 people staffed (at least when I counted) and only a few were helping out customers! It shouldn t take 20 minutes to get one bowl. No one really seems like they re happy working here, which makes the service extremely slow.

The food was really good, as always. Cava is absolutely delicious, but they barely gave you any food. However, the service was terrible. Every employee clearly hates their job and hates the customers because they treat you like youre the biggest inconvenience. Asking for a pita (thats supposed to come with the bowl) was like pulling teeth. Everything you say they just give you the dirtiest look. The restaurant was super dirty. One of the bathrooms was closed and the other was so nasty, and had obviously not been cleaned all day. Also, several sodas in the machine were empty. I wont be back to this location which is super unfortunate.

This is the best CAVA location and the customer service was top-notch, especially from Brandi and Kyle. The food was delicious and fresh, the staff was very friendly and professional, and they moved the line quickly. I highly recommend this CAVA location!

I got the Harrisa bowl, too fire. Angie and team was so helpful and friendly in explaining the menu and crafting my bowl. 10/10 would recommend.

I have lived in Pasadena a very long time and come to this place since it opened. I came in today after not coming the entire summer and was so overjoyed with the beautiful African-American people working and all the different nationalities enjoying the environment of the restaurant. It s so much laughter people having a good time. The vibes are so high. One woman in particular, Brandy stood out the most to me. She was so friendly to all the guest. People literally could not wait to get to the register so they can engage with her. She was so attentive with the entire staff when things were missing, making sure people have the best hot fresh food and bread. I m so overjoyed I came in today and I look forward to coming again to experience her and all the Cava Vibes. Thank you

Brandi and the team here are awesome. They are courteous, kind and patient. The wait wasn t super long, so don t be deterred if you see a little line (that s a good sign) I even witnessed the staff thoroughly cleaning some of the food storage areas as I walked in and waited for my food. This is my favorite Cava as they don t skimp on the portions and it s always a hit. They offer great vegetarian options also Kid-friendliness: Great place for the kids, my kids love the food so no complaints here

So CAVA is like a chipotle but more options and no burritos. Though I honestly think they should have an option for it because itd be amazing!! BUT to continue. The food is fresh and they give you a decent amount so it will be filling. The choices are often juicy so its flavorful. Both meat and vegan options available so its a fan fav in my friend group.

Always liked CAVA and today was no different. Ordered a Greek chicken salad which is served in a good size. Chicken flavor is great as the fresh veggies. Incredible hummus and dressing. Love it.

We have been coming to this location for some time now and I am so happy we found them. Today Brandi went above and beyond for our order and we re so thankful to them and how fire the crew always is. Foods bomb. Staff is bomb. Brandi is bomb. Y all go get some bomb food and service at Cava!

Food was good but the overall restaurant was really dirty. The service was bad completely skipped over my bowl and went to the next person my bowl had nothing on it. i had to mention that they never helped me out and then they added stuff to my bowl. they didnt have any ice for the drinks. and all the drinks i wanted were empty. there wasnt a single clean table even though place was vacant

Fast, tasty, and affordable. Sometimes their falafel is gooey and Ive had undercooked lentils, but that doesnt stop me from going back. Update 2023-09-02: placed a pickup order for two bowls today. The preparer left something out of each bowl; one was missing pita and mine was missing all three sauces.

I cannot express in words how wonderfully delicious CAVA is. I am absolutely hooked!! My go to bowl is half super greens and brown rice. Of course the Saffron Basmati rice is incredible, I just figure the brown is a healthier option. You can t go wrong with any of the dips and spreads. I am into spice, so harissa and crazy feta are a must. Then I switch between eggplant and red pepper hummus, depending on my mood. My main dish is always grilled chicken and roasted veggies. Yum! Next have at it with your favorite toppings. I finish off with pita crisps and the garlic and skhug dressings. Told you I like it spicy. Be sure to download the app and scan your QR code at each visit. The rewards add up quickly, especially for a regular like me. I m an Epicure for those who understand what that is! ENJOY. I m sure I ll bump into you at my next visit.

I have been to been to various Cava locations in the Southern California are because I love the food at Cava and this location sticks out as the best one. After along day at work today I decided to get a grains and grains bowl and the food was amazing. The staff was also spectacular; Syd and Aaron were extremely accommodating and made everything fresh for me. I got exactly what I wanted and had an exceptional experience.

The food tastes amazing and it is healthy which is a bounce. But Kadens professionalism, tenacious drive and passion for the food at CAVA is like the humus on top of the bowl. His supporting team member Eric also has the same level of passion for customer service. If you haven t tried the new location in Pasadena, you should. Good food, good service and good tasting.
