Delicious! the falafel is the best ive ever had, way better than other places. The chicken plate was also fantastic, especially the rice. My wife and kid also tried the Ashta Saraya pastry and they loved it. If youre in the area, this is a place you should stop by for some super fresh food! The owner was also extremely nice and welcoming. These types of businesses should be supported always.

Middle Eastern food I feel has become so commercialized. There’s no personal touches. HERE however, you’ll find Diana who is now your Mother, friend, Aunty, and the absolute sweetest soul you’ll ever meet! When she says her chicken is the juiciest, and most flavorful chicken you’ll find, BELIEVE IT! We got the combo meat platter, Greek salad with chicken, and the desserts she had. All were to die for. Every plate is made FRESH so it takes about 10/15 minutes and it’s well worth it! The food quality paired with Diana’s warm and welcoming personality can’t be beat. The photos you see under this business aren’t the ones you find with the beautiful lighting and perfectly laid out plates because this is REAL food. My partner and I loved everything about our experience! This was our first time but from here on out it’ll be our new spot.

Went to this quaint, cute little cafe for lunch and our party of 4 had the lula kebab, beef and grilled chicken wraps, Greek salads, hummus and I had the soujouk. Everything was delicious and the owner/chef who waited on us was super friendly and happy to explain anything we didn't understand about the menu. The desserts were fire as well!

There is not very much seating in the inside and it's a very small space. Luckily it was a nice day outside, so we ate there. The Lulu plate was very good. Great seasoned beef matched perfectly with the rice. The chicken gyro was just okay. I like having tzatziki sauce in the gyro and it was not present. Instead, they make theirs with a sauce similar to mayonnaise, so I don't recommend that unless you prefer a more mayo flavor. Overall, good service and sizeable portions.

Their Falafel is fantastic!!! We got a side of it with the Chicken Kebab Plate. The Falafel looks like fried donuts and has the perfect crispiness to it and tastes so good with their garlic sauce and hummus!! Their pita bread was so warm and soft and complimented everything well.

The rice they use is delicious and flavored and textured so well!!

We sat outside but unfortunately fell victim to some mosquitoes. It is a nice setting outside with their lights and you get a little view of the mountain. The small disco light was a little too much though.

Service is a little lacking only cause it’s a couple running things. We asked for water (and we had biked here so I was extra thirsty) and after 10min, had to ask again. I also noticed the lady owner talk a lot to the big group that came after us and we never got any acknowledgment (just a “how are things tasting” would have been nice cause I was ready to compliment!).

My friends and I were in town for a class and eight of us dropped in for lunch. The food was fantastic! We all ordered different dishes and loved them all. The chef didn't lie when she said she makes the best chicken! Not much room to sit inside, but the warmth and friendliness of the staff made it very welcoming. I'm only sorry I live far away and can't eat there again until I'm next in LA.

This was the most wonderful little Mediterranean restaurant & the owners were super nice. Its been 27 years since having authentic hummus in the Middle East. Ive tried other restaurants since & every single one has come up short of my expectations. Until now. I only ducked in for a quick snack of hummus & pita, but it was over the moon good & took me right back to my time in Israel! Upon leaving, I couldnt thank the owners profusely enough. Highly recommend.

We stumbled on this place not knowing much about it. And we were beyond delighted with the food and with the exceptional service. I had the falafel wrap and its probably some of the best furafa Ive ever had. My friend had the chicken kabob plate. Portions were huge and the chicken was moist and flavorful. All the sides were excellent as well. This is not one of those places that feels like fast food but its more like having home-cooked food served by caring people. The owners truly care about what they do, what they serve, and making sure people walk away happen. Highly recommend and will enjoy returning often. So happy when taking a chance. Turns out so well.

Came across this tiny spot and wow, quite the surprise. I had the combo plate with the beef, chicken and Lule kabob. All the pieces were so soft and juicy. How do you make the chicken so flavorful and juicy? Whatever it is, keep doing it and I will be back!

I was visiting town for a conference and found this place to get a much needed meal after traveling. I had a delicious chicken and rice plate. The chicken was very well seasoned and the rice was tasty. IT even included a nice fresh side salad which was perfect. The staff were very courteous and quick!

This food is delicious! I love Mediterranean food and have tried many restaurants and this one is probably the best in Pasadena. The lula kabob was juicy and flavorful and the rice was tasty. This is a mom and pop restaurant and they were very kind. The prices for the meals are also great. It s no more than Zankou but the quality here is actually worth it.

Great Falafel and very friendly! Vegetarian options: The majority of dishes are not vegetarian, but the ones that are are clearly labeled and the falafel plate was extremely tasty. I think you can find a solid veggie meal here with all of the chickpeas across both the appetizers and the main courses.

Just tried this place recently. Was not disappointed! Ordered the chicken wrap, was generous in portion size & very flavorful, seasoned perfectly. She took the time to make it fresh for me, piping hot & yummy! I love Mediterranean food, so Ill definitely be stopping here for lunch again. Affordable prices too! The food is fresh and delicious and the dessert. Even more delicious you order your food and you could sit inside or outside. I prefer outside because you get a great view of the mountains and all the hustle and bustle that happens between 5 and 7 PM and green and Oak knoll avenue. This is authentic Lebanese food if you re into healthy eating this is a place to go. The owners have such a beautiful personality you feel like you ve known them all your life and that says a lot for a restaurant with delicious I would always come back here.

So happy I found this little gem right across from my work. I have been coming here a few times a week because the food is so good and fresh. The owner is sweet and makes each order fresh and it normally takes 10min so don t be surprised if you need to wait. It will be worth it. First time customer. Visited September 2022. I went here for dinner with my mom and it was empty. Customer service was great, tables weren t the cleanest but overall place was well organized and cozy. Prices were reasonable and I like that there was some parking spots behind the establishment and on the street (2hours I believe ). Will be coming back.

There foods were amazing. We took some different kebabs. Beef and chicken kebab with some rice and grilled tomato and pepper and for drink we took doogh abali ( Persian drinking). I like to eat again there food in future.

I think we met the owner and she was effusive in her service. She gave us several ways of placing our order including ordering online. This would allow us to pay individually and we felt it was the most convenient, so this was the method we chose. The food took 15 minutes to come out and it was fresh. Falafel was very crunchy. Steak was juicy. Rice was tasty. We also had the desserts: ashta saraya and halawa jebneh. I have no idea what these should taste like, but I really enjoyed them. They had a good floral aroma and were not too sweet. Creamy and cheesey. I will need to have these desserts again. We hope to return!

Easily the best Mediterranean food in the area, even Los Angeles. The food is simply delicious, everything I have tried has been amazing. My personal favorites include the lulu kebab plate or the gyros. The owner is very kind and is undefeated in this cuisine. Terrible service and classist. I called them in the morning to ask if they allow dogs in their outdoor area, and they said yes. Drove all the way thru traffic and when we get there, 1. They don t allow dogs after all and we can t eat there, and 2. They ask me if I m just here to pick up doordash???? Just because I m in casual clothes and sneakers??? So rude!! Looking at other reviews also confirms that the service is bad. I ended up walking just 3 minutes to down Mediterranean Cafe, where they DONT discriminate based on clothing

We ordered kabobs a la cart as a road snack driving home to H.B. from a trip to Huntington Gardens. The owner asked why we didnt want to try her rice. She explained that she had the best rice in town and that we would be fighting over it in the car. She was absolutely right! Not only was the rice the best wed ever had, but the kabobs were amazing! This will definitely be a regular stop whenever we are in the area! Highly recommended!

Great food, Diana the owner was very nice. I tried chicken and falafel both were delicious. Chicken was spicy so beware of that if you dont like spicy food. One thing they can improve is to provide packaged silverware instead of dropping them in the bag.

Been here twice and we ve been LOVING this place! Small mom and pop restaurant in the corner with outdoor patio. The lady is so kind and friendly and you can tell she makes everything with so much love and passion. Their beef kebap plate is our favorite so far, the beef is so tender and perfectly seasoned and even the rice is so scrumptious!!! I love wrapping the beef, rice, and hummus with pita bread and bites of charred pepper and tomato balance out with the juiciness. The lule kebap plate was also very good, the seasoning is unique and appetizing. The falafel was so fresh and crispy and packed with flavor! Their pricing seems reasonable for all the work that goes into it and for the portion. Well worth it :)

Since my colleague wanted to try this place we went out on lunch. I have ordered Grilled Chicken sandwich(cashiers suggestion) and my colleague ordered Falafel. The sandwich I received was around 7-8 inches long. The sandwich wasnt anything special nor was it even a bit tasteful. The flavour was totally bland. The prices on menu do not do justice to the food served. This probably ranks in the bottom of the list of Mediterranean food that I have had. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Super solid, will definitely be back. The Lula Kebab was great, couldnt stop eating the rice, and the grilled pepper was like icing on the cake. Kudos!

I ve been ordering food here almost every other week. The food is AMAZING!!! BF always gets the combo and I get the beef lula. I m salivating just writing the review. The meat is perfectly seasoned and the rice is so flavorful. The owner is also super friendly. During my first visit, she even gave me a free dessert!

Pros: Excellent quality of food savory and tender meat. Delicious. Seemed like very nice people working here. Restroom is super clean and well stocked. Cons: It s expensive and the amount of food they give was not enough. I could eat two of them if I could afford it. The plate in the pic plus a bottle of soda and one pita bread was over $20. The small eating area inside is cramped with 4 wobbly tables. Considering how the flavor of this beef kebab has haunted me for weeks, its a 5 star hands down. Next time I have an extra $50, I would not mind coming back and doubling my last order. Definitely go and taste for yourself and see what I mean. Its bomb

Without question this place may be small but it is big on excellent food! Meat is perfectly cooked and seasoned. I love that it is family owned and run. If you enjoy Mediterranean food this place is a must try....multiple times over!

Its a small Mediterranean restaurant with delicious and fairly reasonably-priced (for downtown Pasadena) food. For example, my lule-kabob combo plate was $15 after tax & tip. The meat is cooked to order, and the sides (rice, hummus & pita, and roasted tomato & pepper, on a combo plate) are fresh and tasty. The only negative is that the seating area is cramped and limited, so be prepared for minor annoyance, with that.

Excellent small family run cafe with delicious, authentic middle eastern food, including desserts. If I lived in this neighborhood, I would make it my go to restaurant for healthy, light, delicious meals.

Great food. Had the Green Cafe combo which is beef, like and chicken on a bed of rice with green pepper and tomato and hummus. Pita bread is great too. Also had Razzel Dazzle. Thats a beautiful delightful mixture of apple juice, raspberries, strawberries, mango, honey and Protein powder. Very delicious and an excellent way to finish your meal. Diana is a super cool lady that helped us. Give it a try and stop by.

Great little cafe. I had the combo plate, and enjoyed everything. The menu is fairly short with a limited number of dishes, but they are very good at quickly making everything on it. I especially liked the roasted vegetable sides.

First off amazing. You know what makes a great small restaurant.... The people. The owner is amazing, kind, on top of everything and always wants to make sure you feel like your eating a family members home. So aside from the people lets talk food. Great portions for a great price, you may have to wait a couple minutes but its well worth the wait. What your get is fresh, flavorful and full filling plate of food. The garlic is perfect not to strong but not to bland ethier, the hummus has you thinking you could eat this all day.

Had late lunch yesterday there...Had the combo plate...the meats were superbly grilled, the chicken breast was soo moist, the lula was out of this world as well as the falafel..these guys are so good.. Then had the home made desserts just made you smiled... You come for the middleeastern food, you leave with the feeling of home made food and the warmth of the owners...You walked out the the sweet smile in your heart and to go boxes...
