The best pizza I've had on the West Coast! Stop by this place in Pasadena. Not only a great menu you won't find at the usual pizzerias, but gosh the guys running the place are sweethearts. My first time and they insisted on a free drink. A small is enough for 2 and as they're cooked in a brick oven..they're crispy perfection. I got the Sultan ($16!) ..3 meals later it's perfection..oh and reheating instructions in the To Go box. Go. You'll agree.

Found the perfect thin sliced pizza!! 786 Degrees Pizza have received multiple awards and recognition for their pizza both locally and internationally. Definitely agree with the reviews!
Aside from the many topping options, their crust is heavenly. Taste like a thinner version of naan bread. It's thin with a crispy crust. Soo darn good!

A really unique twist on Pizza. The chef was featured on a Food Network show and a friend told me that this was the highest rated restaurant in all of Yelp in the US. It didn’t disappoint, a very large flavor profile across every one of their pizzas. Seating inside could be better but overall a great spot for a pizza night, take out or dine in! Bonus, it’s Halal!

Came around 3:45-4:15 and ordered on our phones. You’ll also pay on your phone. It seems like it’s an honor system kind of spot. If you ordered online, you can come in and pickup at the front. They trust you to not have to check your phone etc.

Istanbul - cucumbers on this made it taste really refreshing! Their white sauce was a good pair with this pizza. I’d recommend this pizza!

Fungi lama - this pizza didn’t have as much flavor but was still delicious. I wish the mushrooms were cooked a bit more. It tasted more of it being boiled.

Bombay tikka masala - the flavors on this pizza was good! The chicken was a bit dry but they had enough sauce on it to help the dryness. I enjoyed this pizza as well!

Price: it’s a bit higher than most pizza spots but I’d at least try it once. They have so many options and you can’t get these kind of pizzas at normal pizza shops.

40 years. 40 years Ive been on this earth and never have I ever come across a pizza this spectacular! And thats coming from an Italian!! The customer service was just as good as the pizza as well!!! I could not have been more impressed. To me, it felt like the sweet spot between true Neapolitan and casual (thin) New York pizza. The sauce was incredible so flavorful. The staff was very kind. Going back tonight :)

Very horrible service. It is effectively non-existent. Do not attempt to dine in as they will treat you like trash here. They only seem to expect takeout and are completely confused about how to handle any customers.

Update: we went in and told Chef Marie what happened last time and she kindly gave us free pizza to try again! Super professional and kind. We came in and ordered the istanbul and the bombay pizza. There was no chicken or paneer on either pizza, and we paid 48 dollars for it. We were disappointed and thought this was how it s supposed to be until we saw the photos. We are now even more disappointed. As you can see in the picture, there is just a few pieces of cucumber. No paneer or chicken at all. Please do not come here or if you do, check if your pizza has any toppings on it... The worst part is the cashier verified the pizza was ours before handing it over to us. Can you not see that there is no toppings on it? We feel very stupid and scammed. Will not be going back.

First time here, and it was delicious. Will definitely come back to try more of their pizzas. We ordered in advance at 3:25pm on a Saturday, and it was promptly ready at 3:40pm as promised. We walked in, grabbed the pizzas with our ticket (read: name) on it, and ate right on their patio. The pizzas are great fresh, like they recommend! We got the Bombay Tikka and the Habibi. The flavors were great, and the crust is super light. Were adding this to our pizza rotation. Highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best pizzas I have had. This is a no frills, order from the menu posted outside, go inside, order and either find a table indoors or out front in the enclosed patio. The only drinks I could see were canned sodas or bottle water. Most pizzas are around $21. They did not spend any money on the decor, but rather on good ingredients for unique delicious pizzas, with Middle Eastern flavors, which is fine with me! It seems many of their orders are for TO GO or PICK UP. They do not sell by the slice. You must order an entire pizza. The three of us began by sharing one pizza, the Honey, Lets Date, which was really yummy! This is made with honey infused meats, arugula and dates. We were still hungry so we ordered a second one, this time Lets Amore: pistachio pesto with three different cheeses. We loved them both. While we were sitting and waiting, they brought out a pizza for us to sample, the Habibi which is made with greek yogurt and minced lamb and beef! What a wonderful touch! Thank you for this extra sampling! Next time I am in this area of Pasadena, I will definitely stop by. The staff here are all smiles and work hard! Perfect crust and wonderful creative toppings. Everything is fresh. The staff are great. They have many unique pizza styles from all over the world, Moroccan, Indian, French, and many more, in addition to the usual standards. The only downside is somewhat limited indoor seating; that said, I always manage to find seating when I go. They do have outdoor seating as well. This place is definitely worth a visit.

The dough is springy and light and thin enough that the toppings get to do a lot of heavy lifting. As a result of needing to take center stage, the topping combinations are wild and creative and always hit the spot. I don t just come for the toppings or the dough, I come for the synergy between the two. 786 makes super unique pizzas that will surprise and delight everyone who tries them. Also, I really like the energy of the owner. He insistently asks you if you like the pizza which at first I thought was annoying but after coming back so many times, I think he is just constantly trying to improve (which I don t think is possible because it s already so good) and hone his craft.

We used to like this place, but the last visit was dissapointing. We ordered istanbul and another pizza for total $40 dollars and when we got our order we found out that the chicken meat in the instanbul pizza was almost none existence for $19 pizza. It was basically a cucumber and mayo on the topping. The other pizzas edges were severly burnout that is why we could not eat 20 % of the pizza On the top of it, they only accept cash in the store. Only for online orders they accept a card payment which is very inconvienient. We are not sure if we ever come back and it is sad that this is only halal pizza place around Pasadena.

By far the best pizza I ve had in my life, and it s HALAL!!! There s plenty of other places that offer halal pizza but not like this. Every pizza is inspired by a country or region. I ve tried nearly every non-vegetarian pizza they have and they re all fantastic. Here s my favorites in order: 1. Bombay Tikka Masala 2. Habibi 3. Pepperoni BumbleBEE STING 4. Bulgogi 5. Shrimp Tuscany Now just because the pizza you were thinking of ordering wasn t on that list doesn t mean you shouldn t order it. Whatever you get you ll enjoy. Their focus isn t getting you pizza in the quickest time, or pizza that s loaded with toppings. Their focus is on serving a quality product. Yes this place is expensive for pizza and wait times can be over an hour, but trust me it is worth it. Free drinks are included with the pizza. Don t be the one to ask for grated Parmesan, red chili flakes, or ranch because you won t get it. Chef has perfected every pizza to be enjoyed as is. Chances are you ll take some home. They ll give you a paper with instructions on how to reheat it. Basically, put it in a hot pan for maybe 2 minutes, then add half an ounce of water and cover with a lid till the water evaporates and you re done. It s the closest you ll get to fresh pizza without having it just out of the oven. USE THE INSTRUCTIONS!! Do yourself a favor and order online so it s ready when you get there. Their given pickup time is always spot on and I ve never had to wait more than 3 minutes. Loved it! Exceptional food & very friendly, helpful staff! We had the award-winning BULGOGI Gangnam Style pizza, which was $21.00. We did dine-in and our pizza was ready in ~10 min. As first-time customers, we got free soft drinks while we waited. The menu described it like this: KOREAN INSPIRED ! from the high end streets of Seoul - Beef marinated for 36 hrs seasoned with sesame and scallion, ripe pears & apples in the house made marinade to tenderize the meat and add a characteristic sweetness, toasted sesame seed Korean black mushrooms , fresh spinach Finished with Chinese onions - olive oil and yellow corn. Incredibly delicious! Cant wait to come back!

This place lives up to the best pizza in the country hype! Usually when things are voted that its never true when you go and taste it, but from the moment we walked in here the owner treated us like absolute family all around, going above and beyond to cater to us. So already hospitality was a 5 stars before we ate. They even let my daughter watch how they make the pizzas and told her all about it as she was curious. Then the pizza came out, thats amore, we started with a white pie, and while all the pies we had that night were knockout fantastic, I can easily say without a doubt the thats amore pie was the best white slice of pizza Ive ever had, better than any I found in a decade living in NYC! Was blown away, and we havent even tried their award winning pies yet, so will be returning quite a bit!

My friends and I were visiting Los Angeles from Canada, we had the pleasure of stumbling upon 786 Degrees Pizza, and it quickly became the highlight of our culinary journey. Came in couple hours to try their pizza see what all the hype is about, and they literally nailed it. It s hard to find genuine good pizza spots in LA and usually when I go try a new pizza spot I usually order very light basic pizzas to get a feel of the crust and the sauce, so I ordered Napolitana Margherita. And I can genuinely tell there is art to the pizza. The sauce the crust everything tasted so good. I would definitely come back try their other pizzas.

This is one of those place you want to help. Great food and nice staff but they do not accept credit card payments and their website is hard to operate. Whyyyy??? Get a square or some other easy payment system, your business would triple!! Very annoying to go there and I WANT to go there but probably won t anymore. Other people I know feel the same way. 786 Degrees is that rare unique pizzeria. While it offers a couple traditional pies, I cannot imagine anyone ordering one. To the contrary, do visit 786 Degrees and try one or more of its delectable specialty pizzas, most found nowhere else in the Pasadena area. My wife and I ordered three pies (two would have been more than enough to feed us, but we wanted to sample as many as our stomachs would accommodate.) In no particular order we chose: BULGOGI Gangnam Style which receives top marks. It is sweet and mildly spicy (not hot, just complex). Both of us will order this one again. BOMBAY TIKKA MASALA, another top rating. This one had great Indian-inspired flavor and was only a mild on the picante scale. Once again, both my wife and I will enjoy this pie again. MOROCCAN (Vegetarian), which was very good, but maybe a half-step down from the other two. Honestly, without the side-by-side comparisons, I would give this pie top marks as well. Ive enjoyed bulgogi and tikka masala pizzas elsewhere, but 786 Degrees versions compare favorably. Ive never eaten another Moroccan pizza, and this one is worth a try. It has a wonderful mixture of North African flavors. Regardless of the pizzas you order, you are sure to enjoy the crust. Its one of the best Ive eaten (and probably has something to do with the 786 Degrees name). Finally, the service is great. Our pizza chef was warm and friendly, welcoming us to his little restaurant. This attitude alone is worth a special visit. Ill offer one warning. 786 Degrees is very popular. We walked in without reservations and only needed to wait 15 or 20 minutes, but the wait queue was up to more than one hour by the time we left. Order online or visit before the rush to avoid the crowds.

Friendly staff and incredible menu selection of unique pizza that is suitable for many diets. Waiter took food allergy information down for some members of our party and the chef even came back to double check with us to make sure it was properly handled. Food came out very fast. Pizzas were so good that we came back the next day to try more flavors! Beesting pizza was great, had a great spice and sweet unique pairing. Amazing! I will be returning to try their other award winning pizza. It was delicious, and most importantly, they had pizza that my 6 year old loved. We ordered the Bombay Tikka Masala Pizza and a Chef Recommended one for our picky 6 year old. The pizzas were perfect, flavor was on point, and it was light perfection. My wife cant stop talking about the pizza. Kid-friendliness: Staff were really nice to my son, and they were able to recommend a pizza that he loved.

I visited 786 last night for dinner. To begin with, the restaurant is very small, only can seat 20 people, but has a small patio seating area. The staff was amiable. Luckily we ordered 45 minutes before, so by the time we got there, our pizza was in the oven getting ready, while other people ordered their pizza after sitting while we were eating. We ordered their Award-winning Gangnam Style and Beef Bar-b-q. I am sorry, but I dont taste anything award-winning. It tasted something I could make at home, a very thin crust, but it is expected from napolini pizza. The video played on the TV when the restaurant had their competition looked outdated. We just visited the Huntington library and were very hungry. Saw the reviews here, knew that we have to try this place! Ordered online, super fast pick up time. The owner was very nice! We ordered habibi and Istanbul. LOVE both of them. Our son has never liked any pizza, he loves the pizza here! The crust is so thin and crispy. Flavorful toppings and dripping sauce are top notch and so unique. That s why they have 4.9 stars!

Pies have a lot of interesting flavors but are on the small side. Paying 94 dollars for 4 pizzas and feeling hungry afterwards didnt sit well with me. I dont want to be telling anyone how to operate a business but if i did.... On a cold day, the heaters should be in working condition and the inside of a restaurant shouldnt smell strongly of cleaning materials at noon.

The Moroccan Pizza was extraordinary and the Fungi Lama was just ordinary but good (Ive had similar tasting Fungi (Mushroom) Pizza elsewhere) . And the atmosphere, tables and décor was rundown, old and absent. The pizzas are small and really can only feed 1 1/2 persons. And so, at $21.00 for the Moroccan and $18.00 for the Fungi, a rip-off. Yes, theres inflation, but there are lots of pizza places out there selling similar size and quality ingredient pizzas in a vibrant atmosphere for easily, $7 less (e.g. Medicis in Sherman Oaks). If the owner is going to charge these kinds of prices, the least he\she can do is reinvest in charm and atmosphere (think of Portos, a great bakery with decent prices and charm - leaving Portos youll feel like you received great value).

Amazing pizza and the people that work there were so friendly. They made sure to not fire up our pizzas until our whole group was there so that we got the freshest pizzas possible. They even made a free pizza for us to try something different and it was SO GOOD. No, their ordering system isn t typical or necessarily user-friendly - but the food is worth it!

Living just around the corner from 786, I consider myself one of the luckiest pizza eaters on the planet. These gourmet pizzas are so unique and so good that they should be in their own food group. Be warned, they get so busy in the evenings that the wait time can grow to well over an hour.

I think pizza might be over rated. This place was recommended by a co worker and it was ok at best . Pizza sauce has little to no taste. Pizza is just a thin crust nothing. We didnt order one of their specialty pizza. So maybe others might have another experience

Absolutely the best pizza ever! Amazing customer service. We were a party of 14 with various dietary requirements which were all met by the helpful staff. They were so chilled and friendly and made us feel most welcome. We devoured our pizzas and also ordered take away. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian option available just ask and they will advise and make changes. Dietary restrictions: Halal diet catered for. Please speak to chef for more info. Kid-friendliness: Open and chilled atmosphere for kids. Wheelchair accessibility: No problems there all on one floor also outdoor seating available.

Cant get a reservation at Pijja Palace? Come here instead, way better! We ordered the Bombay tikka, honeybee and Moroccan. Out of the 3 the honeybee was my favorite, but omg they all good.

This is something special yall. Stop reading reviews and just order it!! TL;DR: Exceptional thin crust, international flavors. order outside of peak lunch/dinner hours (5-7PM) PARKING: Street or back lot. FOOD: Their pizza options are truly adventurous. In our household, we traveled to the middle east, Italy, and Mexico in one pizza order (3 separate pizzas). Crust has a delightful chew with a slight hint of tang from the 72 hour aging. Ratio of topping to crust/dough is perfect. SERVICE: There is so much heart and love in their food. I especially appreciate all the details included in your order (youll see on your pizza box!).

Terrific pizza, seriously. Habibi and Bulgogi pizzas for our first try ever, and both were excellent. Take out instead of dine in on a Sunday, and they cordoned off most of the inside except for one, maybe two tables. Outside seating was available. Ordered through their website. Their estimated readiness for the pizzas was 45 minutes, and they were slightly late at 50. I wouldnt count it as a negative. Overall, well definitely come back for their pizzas!

Extremely kind staff, personable, meaningful and more. Pizza was quick (Got lucky cause sometimes during dinner they have so many orders you naturally have to wait). We ordered the Habibi and it was simple but delicious!! Not too cheesy, fresh meat, savory, hot, was amazing. Thanks again.

All I can say is YUM!!! We were looking for an amazing pizza spot to try and stumbled upon one of very few restaurants with a 4.9/5 star rating so we had to try this place and it did NOT disappoint! INCREDIBLE! We had the award winning shrimp Tuscany pizza and OMG!! It was slap yo momma good! And we had to try the OG pepperoni pizza and it was scrumptious! But the shrimp Tuscany pizza?? Be prepared to slap someone it s THAT good!! Lol!! And because this was our first time visiting, we all were given a free drink! Best pizza spot in Pasadena for me.

Our friends were meeting us at a different restaurant and my friend and I accidentally ended up at this place. We had to leave. The the owner is so so so kind he gave us complimentary drinks before we left... Please spread the word this place is amazing. We always order out from them excellent pizza!!

Everything about this place is amazing. The staff, the service and especially the pizza. This is the first pizza that Ive had that hasnt left me feeling heavy and bloated after. I ate a whole pizza to myself and I felt like I could run a marathon after.

The Pizzas are quite good and so is the service. Wish they had more space to sit. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is they dont have chili flakes or parmesan cheese.

I wanted to give this place 5-stars at first bite, but then it didnt feel 100% right so 4 stars at most. 1st was an error on ordering system. They tried to tell me it was me, but no, I pressed pay and it updated the pick up time for me to which I had to press okay to accept so my order would go through. But when I got there I was told it did not go through and I would need to wait. GOOD THING is the guy working there ensured us he would work on it right away and gave us some water/soda while we waited. Another plus, while I waited I also noticed all the employees wore gloves and changed them when they started handling different things (e.g. payment transactions). When I recieved the pizzas, they smelled great. Was a little small, but expected it. Bread was wonderful and lived up to the thin but crispy Naples style pizza Ive been craving. Next negative, there was no truffle on Fungi Lama pizza. I dont know if its because the guy was rushing this for us, which I appreciated and as we were hungry, we just at it as is. Last con, there was a sparse amount of chicken on the Chicken Tikka Masala. For the price, they are very skimpy with toppings. The owner/media person can tell me its due to quality, etc... but a few more pieces of chicken does not ruin the quality of a Neapolitan style pizza. And finally because its Halal certified, I do want to come back and see if I can give it 5-stars next time. Dietary restrictions: Halal options is a plus

It is not easy to describe 786 Degrees - Sapori. This place is that cool!! Beyond the pizza, the service is amazing. The associate who took our orders and made the pizza was the most courteous! Nicest guy!! The pizza is light and flavorful with a tasty crust. The pizza is prepared with fresh ingredients and consists of flavors that will satisfy any cravings. This is not your typical pizza joint!

5 individuals, 5 different pizzas, and 10 thumbs up! The quality of the food, the service, everything was just incredible. They seriously have something special going on here and it shows. The care that goes into the preparation and the value they place on customer satisfaction is just amazing. Really cant wait to go back and try a different pizza!

I dont know how. Havent left a review. I have been coming here since day one. All there pizzas are bomb. Being gluten tolerant this is the only place I can enjoy a good pizza when that craving hits. They use fresh ingredients, the flour is imported from Italy and the staff is so friendly and nice. If youre use to American pizza and you love to add stuff on your pizza and make lots of substitutions , this place is not it for you. Thank you for being down the street from me.

Ate it too fast for pictures. This is the kinda place everything is excellent. We usually get the Bombay Tikka Masala which is divine. Only thing better than the pizza is the amazing service. Outside sitting area is pretty chill as well, plenty of parking.

Oscar is such a friendly guy and very obviously passionate about pizza and customers! We are from out of town and didnt know about their online ordering system, and unfortunately, by the time we arrived less than an hour to closing, they were out of dough and slammed with orders. Oscar told us about online ordering, but when we told him we were from out of town and couldnt come back again soon, he managed to scrounge up enough dough for our pizza. We were going to take it back to our hotel, but he insisted we sit there and eat it hot and he was right. The pizza was freakin amazing! Definitely deserving of all the accolades it receives! Hope to come back again some day and would definitely eat here again when I do.

If youre worried that some of the toppings seem like they might not work on a pizza, I thought the same thing. But they make it work and Im probably going to end up trying most if not all of them. Also, the dough and crust is as good as the pizza Ive had in Italy. Overall, very good dough, very good combination of flavors with the toppings, and you can tell theyre very concerned about you having the best pizza experience possible.

We tried the lamb meat pizza, and another cheese pizza! The lamb one was good, but it didn t have enough meat on it, I wish it had more meat, but the cheese pizza was great and refreshing

Seriously delicious pizza! The only con I can think of is that you HAVE to order on their website and cant order in-person when you get there. The Honeybee Sting, Habibi, Honey Lets Date, Shrimp Tuscany, and the Bulgogi are all top-notch. The Burj Khalifa was just OK and Thats Amore was pretty good too. The pizzas are best enjoyed at the restaurant as they cool down quick and dont travel well.

The best pizza place ever. Ive had great pizza in southern Cal, Texas, Chicago, and New York. This place tops them all. I know this sounds like exaggeration but its not. Their service is also just as great. Bring all your loved ones here. Youll love it.
