Everything was spectacular, the steak was the best steak I have ever had. Service was amazing thank you Robert. Thank you to manager Elias whom was very present checking on everyone and very attentive. All the food from the stuffed mushrooms to the salad and our sides the main dish, plates are hot so your food stays hot through the dinner. The creme Brule and espresso was also amazing. Thank you for a great night we will be back.

Overall food and dining experience was wonderful.
Our server, Gary, was very pleasant and also very well paced in serving us.
We never felt rushed but we never had to wait for him when we needed something.
Food was excellent as expected.
We ordered the bone in filet and ribeye in medium rare.
Overall, very wonderful experience and would recommend this location for any special occasion or looking to enjoy great steaks.

If you are celebrating anything this is the place to do it. Absolutely wonderful steakhouse with service that goes above and beyond. I went the Ruth’s Classic, which is the best option in my opinion. A prix fixe meal that comes with an appetizer, entree, side, and dessert. Honestly a perfect meal I was absolutely stuffed at the end.

I recently made reservations at Ruth's Chris Steak House for a special birthday celebration with a group of 8 guests, and I must say that our experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything went incredibly smooth, and the service was impeccable.

The meal began with a delightful array of courses that showcased the culinary expertise of the restaurant. The Seared Ahi Tuna with mustard-beer sauce was a refreshing and flavorful start, followed by the decadent Mushrooms Stuffed with Crabmeat topped with Romano cheese. The Veal Osso Buco Ravioli and Seared Scallops were cooked to perfection, each bite bursting with exquisite flavors.

As we progressed through the courses, each dish was a culinary delight. The Bone-In Filet was incredibly tender and flavorful, while the Garlic Crusted Sea Bass and Lobster Mac & Cheese were absolute showstoppers. The Tomahawk Ribeye was a true highlight of the evening, a massive 40 oz USDA prime bone-in ribeye that was beautifully marbled and full of flavor.

The sides were equally impressive, with the Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Grilled Asparagus, and Lettuce Wedge all complementing the main dishes perfectly.

To conclude the meal, the desserts were a sweet indulgence that left us all thoroughly satisfied. The Chocolate Sin Cake, Crème Brûlée, and Cheesecake were all decadent and delicious, a perfect ending to a memorable dining experience.
Despite ordering generously and treating ourselves to a variety of dishes, the bill for 8 people came out to $1,500 including tax and tip, which was a fair price considering the quality and quantity of food we enjoyed.

Overall, Ruth's Chris Steak House exceeded all expectations, providing top-notch service, exquisite food, and a truly unforgettable dining experience. The 16 Oz steak was cooked to perfe. The mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. The charred cauliflower was crunchy and perfectly charred.
The creamed spinach was my absolute favorite.

If you're dining in, ask for Claudia. Claudia is friendly and k ows the menu and can give great recommendations.

We had such a great experience. We made dinner reservations for Mother's Day weekend. The food was delicious and our waitress Leah was the best! She was so kind and attentive. We will return next time we are back in town. Also the parking structure is across the street with a short walking distance from the restaurant.

Went to the Pasadena location yesterday (6/29/24). The main attraction (Ribeye medium) was very good. But I found it to be too fatty for my liking. It was cooked to perfection though. I am usually a NY Strip chick but a butcher at Stater Bros informed me a ribeye is more flavorful so I decided to try it. I took a picture but I realized too late it was blurry. My sides were creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes which were both ok. The potatoes were mild on the garlic flavor and reminded me of the boxed “Spuds”. Spinach lacked flavor. As an appetizer I ordered the BBQ Shrimp. They were cooked perfectly and had a lot of sauce. Very good. That little piece of bread that comes with it was so good and I used it to sop up the sauce lol. I tasted my brothers Spicy Shrimp and Au Gratin potatoes. (My family orders different things and we taste each others food to expand our dining experience). Those shrimp were absolutely delicious. Better than the BBQ ones. Au Gratins were delicious. I also tasted my sister in laws Lobster Mac and it was very good. Tasted my nieces lamb and a stuffed mushroom. Lamb, not my thing. Had it years ago from a co-worker and it was just ok back then. Stuffed mushrooms were ok. To drink I had the pomegranate martini (ok) and a glass of water. Will I return, yes. Beware that it is pricey if you don’t fancy expensive dining tip included was $175.00 for just me. Next time I am NY, Spicy Shrimp, Asparagus, Lobster Mac and Iced Tea.

Steak was amazing cut but no flavor at all.Tasted like they washed it in the sink before cooking it.The mac and cheese with lobster was the absolute best,was really really good.So was the strawberry margarita 10 out of 10.But I never once got a refill on my water,I asked for more bread and waiter obliged but forgot to bring more,it was good bread.I had to ask at the end if they could get me my only refill on my soda.And the group next to us was so loud the wife and I could barely hold a conversation.Next time Ill just order the mac and cheese with lobster to go and eat in the car

From the moment my family and I walked in, to the moment we walked out, the experience was outstanding! We were greeted and immediately walked to our table. Our server Jeremy, introduced himself and gave us amazing recommendations. Price is high but well worth it as you get big portions to share and USDA quality meat! I highly recommend Ruths Chris Steak House as the menu, service and atmosphere will have you and your family coming back ! Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids prefix menu. Steak is an option! Highly recommend taking the kids out for dinner.

REVISED Review: I am so incredibly impressed and shocked to actually be contacted by Ruth Chris Steakhouse. I assume our below original review was a fluke experience and from the care shown to us about our experience was second to none. In all of my years I have never been contacted personally by a business to apologize for good service and go out of their way to listen to our story and explain so many things. Thank you so much Ruth Chris for doing this. We have been eating at your restaurant for years and this entire experience confirms to us why. Thank you. Original Review: Not serving butter in a fine dining establishment with the bread, is not acceptable. (The Waiter said it was NOT butter, but we later learned it was real whipped butter.) The host that seated us should have informed us that they were understaffed and that there would be a substantial wait from the time we were seated until such time we would be waited on or served anything at all. As a former restaurant server myself, the host should be in tune to what is happening and inform the customer. We are very understanding people but communication is what was missing here. My crab cakes were excellent, as well as my salad. My husband liked his steak but said there was too much grissel. The asparagus was good too. I ordered the double thick lamb chops $65 they came on a small plate, and it was difficult to cut. They also came with the fat cap. The meat and the fat were 50/50. There is no mint sauce to compliment the lamb. Its not worth the $65 dollars

Always an amazing time. The staff is so amazing, and theyre willing to help you out however you can. The food is absolutely amazing. The steak is so good it practically melts in your mouth. Seasoned to perfection. The side dishes are so complimentary to the meat. Everything is fantastic, totally worth the money.

Update: May 4th, 2024- My daughter decided to treat me to Ruths Chris Pasadena and we are appalled at how she was treated. She called and tried to order certain food items only to be cut off abruptly by a very rude man who told her incorrect information and then after getting her credit card info, like bad magic, the phone call was cut off. Little did he know that we were right around the corner so we went inside and asked for the manger. The manager immediately defended the very rude man and it was disheartening. We decided to order anyway since we had driven quite a distance already, we took it to go. I tried the sea bass which was absolutely delightful. The spicy shrimp was nowhere as good as it used to be, and my daughter said the steak was pretty good; the cheesecake was lousy! Bottom line, we spent over $200 and the food wasnt that great and the beginning service was AWFUL. We cannot support this location anymore and need to let others know, be aware as this very disappointing experience could happen to you.

Our family visits this Ruth Chris twice a year; this last visit was an eye opener. Prices have skyrocketed, $150 per person (we didnt purchase any alcohol either). The food was good but not great for the price. To be honest, both my steak (filet) and my wifes (petite filet) were marginally better than the steak we get at Outback. Both steaks were chewy and not as tasty as in the past. Service was spectacular as always, but we found the dining area to be loud (it was hard to carry a conversation between the five of us, I imagine the large group near us were somewhat inebriated) so the atmosphere rating also received a dink. We will be going elsewhere for our splurge meal from now on.

It has a luxurious feel, but the staff are friendly and pleasant. The taste is perfect every time! Highly recommended if you are staying in the Pasadena area. I dont know if they bake it at a high temperature, but it comes out a little overcooked, so its better to order it a little rarer than the way I usually order it.

Its Ruths Chris so you know its going to be great. Our server was great. Very attentive and personable. Our table had the filet and the prime rib steaks with lobster and shrimp. The lobster is small and you only get 3 shrimp, but its typical at a time dining establishment. The food was all delicious. I would recommend the mashed potatoes side and the mushroom side. The spinach dip was just ok, but Im not a big fan to begin with. If you get the combo, you get soup/salad, entre, 1 sid, and dessert. Our dessert was cheese cake and it was excellent. Overall we had a great time and will be coming back for our annual holiday dinner.

Never disappoints!!! Last time I was at a Ruth s was some time ago and now that I finally went back, the meal was excellent. I had the 8oz filet and it was perfectly cooked (medium rare of course) and it was as tender and flavorful as I remember it the last time. Used to go quiet a bit when I lived in north Texas and this is my first time to the one in Pasadena, CA and I m really pleased that the quality and service is the same. I will definitely add it to my steakhouse rotation once again!!

I expect food can be better. Lobster Bisque is very salty. Kind of disappointed. My friend order a rare steak but came out a medium rare. Had the waiter replaced another one. Two waiters served us. One was so friendly and the other was so cool with limited smile... Well! We took advantage of buying over $300 and get 10% off. Its sweet to put my friend s name in the menu for her birthday plus a complimentary birthday sliced cake. Parking: Can park in Paseo parking lot with validation plus fee. Suggest you get a coffee from Starbucks and get validation.

Went during the week and ate in the bar area. The service was ok. There was one server despite the area being packed. I cant fault our waiter for being tasked to handle around 7 tables with one being 5 people. The blackberry sidecar was well balanced and delicious. The ranch that came with the slaw was really salty. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were delicious, and were seriously my favorite. The lobster was overcooked. Id visit again but opt for a table rather than the bar area.

We have twice a year birthday celebrations here and they do a nice service. The servers went out of their way to help us celebrate. The Porterhouse is an excellent steak, cooked exactly as ordered. The side spinach was the only disappointment and the waiter deducted it from the bill without being asked.

This was my first time eating at a Ruths Chris.This is a lovely restaurant. Its the type of place you could sit for hours. The food was decent enough but It took 3 times for my steak to be cooked correctly, and the third time it still wasnt, but I wasnt going to send it back again. Both steaks ordered MR came blue. My husband doesnt like to send food back and after I sent mine back 3 times, he didnt bother asking for his cooked up. Biggest issue for me wasnt the food being undercooked, it was the service. Our server Kenny seemed trapped in a robotic spiel that was disingenuous and cringy. Either he needs a vacation or the restaurant is training him this way. Not that I expect it, but usually a manager will be present if an issue happens. I sent my steak back three times. No one came by and said hey Im so sorry we cant cook your steak right but we are trying. We left feeling confused, with 2 raw steaks in a Togo bag. We went home and cooked them ourselves, but for almost $300, maybe we should have done that in the first place

Every year we eat at Ruths Chris for Thanksgiving. This year they were out of the one that I wanted that wasnt $70 a bottle. The waitress was quite surly and rude. My my salad had some rotted pieces in it. And my petite filet mignon was perhaps four or five ounces. I think it was supposed to be 8 oz. The meal was disappointing and the service for the first time ever was substandard. It took them forever to bring one of my friends a glass of wine after it. There was no ice in my water and a bunch of little things that made my dining experience substandard for the first time ever. So I was disappointed and Im going to look for a new place to have Thanksgiving dinner next year.

Ordered takeout last week, a few fillets, a couple sides, and desserts. The sides and desserts were great but unfortunately all three fillets were undercooked. Disappointed for what the meal costs but may be just a lack of quality control on takeout. Definitely recommend dining in.

Victor Buell and his assistant were top notch during our time there. This is my second time going to this location and has always been good service and top notch food.

Great restaurant, and amazing service. First time there, definitely going back. Only complaint portions are a little small for the price. We had the porterhouse for two. Could of fed one.

My wife and I celebrated our 24th anniversary here. Our server Destiny provided us with legendary service. She was very attentive and did a lot of nice little things to make our evening memorable. The food was excellent and very tasty. It was our first visit to Ruths Chris but because of Destiny it wont be our last. Thank you for a wonderful celebration, Jim & Sheila Thomas. Filet mignon topped with jumbo shrimp. The filet was great. I would not do the shrimp add on again as the shrimp was a tad over cooked for my liking. The garlic mashed potato s were great!

They have magicians as cooks. Seriously. Everything was magical. The kindest management, hosts and server. Cyrus and I love you all. Parking: Valet persons are professionals and very courteous. Tip them well. Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu. Filet mignon as an option.

May be good for dine in. But they make delievery drivers to wait over 30 minutes to get an order. Receptionist didn t check the order in the back and keep saying have to wait for over 30 minutes . Atmosphere is so bad with receptionist.

Service was amazing, steak was good, plate was really hot. Should have ordered medium rare instead of medium. But nonetheless, rib eye is always a good cut and creamy spinach too! We were given desserts to celebrate a special occasion and a mix up of the steak during serving.

Before the pandemic, we frequently visited Ruths Chris - our favorite happy hour! It was always great, and we hoped our first post-pandemic visit would be as good. To our relief and surprise, the food was still great, the price still reasonable, and the service...well...even better! I cant remember the names of all the friendly and efficient staff, but I can report that Aaron was super...one of the finest servers we have ever had. We look forward to enjoying frequent happy hours at Ruths in the future!

Atmosphere sucks. Feels old and dirty. Smelly and filthy looking carpets. Steak was flavorless and low quality. Waiter was not bad. Burned my hand due to the hot plates. My friend got seafood and got food poisoning the day after. I DO NOT recommend. Go to another steakhouse nearby.

Took an hour+ to send out an overcooked $78 ribeye, then they took another 20 minutes to send out a raw one to replace it. Huge disappointment. Minor, but the tables led candle was off when we came in, then died during the meal. The table itself was less stable than my ex-girlfriend. Felt like I was dining during the Northridge quake. For someone that rarely goes out to dine these days, this reminded me why.

Gordon at the bar served us. He looks like a young Louis C.K. The service was excellent and fast. Cocktails were superbly created. Food was tasty as always but the Potatoes Au Gratin were tasteless. Gordon comped the dish. The whole bar had a tasteless experience with the Potatoes Au Gratin. Weird bad batch. Crowded because of Fathers Day but the manager managed to seat us at the bar. Had my birthday dinner here. I love steak. Made a reservation for me and my friends but had to wait a half hr past my res time to be seated. Website outlines a vegetarian menu but to ask the individual Ruths Chris if thats something that particular restaurant offers. Called ahead because I have 2 friends that dont eat beef. They told me yes. This was not true. Friend ordered fish. Fish came out cold. My friend never sends food back but had to cuz it was completely unenjoyable. Steak was on the high end of mediocre. A solid steak, sure, but compared to other steaks in town? Naw. Simply put, this place is not even close to being worth the money. There was 12 of us, we paid like $1400+ or something, and that was with the fish dish being comped. Supremely OVERRATED. Almost felt like apologizing to my friends, honestly. Off the top of my head, I can think of a dozen steakhouses that are far superior in every possible way and many for a lower price point even. Hadnt been here in a long time. I remember growing up, this was the place to get a steak. Sorry to say Ill likely never go back.

Valet is 14.00 parking is difficult if you dont valet. Its packed on a Saturday I had reservations but still had to wait 15 mins. Our waiter was Jorge, he was awesome, the food was 100/10 I got the fish and shrimp 10/10 was $50.00 comes with a butter sauce and a little fresh spinach the sweet potatoes and pecan BOMB 10/10 very sweet like dessert two people can share it , it was $15 , we were served bread before the food. The calarmi (chefs kiss ) it was made with a chili tomato sauce really good . Its worth it

Víctor was our server and he was the absolute best! Not only did they provide a private room for us due to having a small child, they were very attentive with us! Food was great and server was amazing! 10/10!!! Also, the petite fillet may look pretty small, but TRUST ME. It is very filling!

Food is superb, drinks are always good. I recommend the pomegranate martini, blueberry mojito, and whatever you have for dessert get an espresso martini with it. Appetizers I recommend are calamari and spicy shrimp. Any of the entrees you order is always delicious. For dessert we had the banana cream pie, and creme brulee which is always delicious. Wish I took more photos but added a few.

We went for 2 birthdays, and my name was printed on my minu . My sisters in hers. . that was not expected at all. Everything was perfect! Ive been here once and wanted to give my sister the same exsperance.. the desert was so nice, Ruths beings out a special cheesecake if its your birthday..I how she injoyed this as much as I did. I even had my 14 year old grandson with me and he seemed to like his strip steak too. I got the petite filet minon med rare with shrimp on top. The shrimp was dry so I could have done without it . My sister had the garlic crusted sea bass. We shared with each other. I thought he fish was too dry. We also had lobster Mac and cheese , now that was very good. We didnt have anything but water with dinner. Ive never spent that much for dinner before. $ 249.00 ..lovely dinner ...
