I recently visited Islands and had an outstanding experience, thanks in large part to our server, Eric. From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. He was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pick the perfect burgers and sides, making excellent recommendations.

Eric's service was attentive without being intrusive. He checked in just the right amount and ensured our drinks were always full. The food came out promptly and was delicious—perfectly cooked burgers with fresh toppings.

Overall, Eric made our visit memorable. Great food and top-notch service—I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend asking for him if you go.

This is the best location! Every time we come here, we are never disappointed. The restaurant is spotless and the food is always perfect.

The servers are consistently amazing. We particularly like a server named Patience, who always goes above and beyond. You don’t experience service like this very often these days.

Islands may not be the cheapest place around, but the quality and portions are well worth it and they always have pretty good deals on their IOS app.

Always a big fan of Islands Restaurants. Glad to know no matter which location they serve awesome burgers and fries. We got the Kilauea and the Big wave with cheese. This was the first place I knew to butter their buns. Buttered buns, island red onions (fried) you just can't beat it

I came here for dinner with my 5year old nephew and sister. The restaurant was pretty busy. However we were seated right away. Our waiter Garret was courteous and very helpful he spoke to my nephew and took down what he wanted to drink. My nephew said..and I quote he is COOL. I ordered the hula and asked for it to be medium well, but it was more on the raw side. So I asked Garrett if he could have it cooked again and he kindly took my burger back to fix the problem. It took awhile for my order to be ready however Garrett made it a point to keep coming by and apologizing for delay and assured me it was on its way. When it was ready John M brought it to me I believed he might be the manager. I’m not sure actually only assuming but he was courteous as well. He also took the time to speak to my nephew and presented him with an award for having the best tshirt. I think that is really awesome that both man included my nephew in a conversation with my sister and I. Some places usually just take your order and return with it when your order is ready. But for them to actually take the time and converse with my nephew while they were extremely busy was just awesome. Thank you Garrett and John

My family loves coming to this location. We usually have a bigger party and it never takes a long time to be seated. The kids love it there. Not only is the food great but we always get the best waiters/waitresses 🥰

Stopped here for a work lunch. Our server was Patience and she was super friendly and attentive. The food was adequate, and came out quickly. The service was really the star here. If the management reads this they should really recognize how important the servers are. I have been to a lot of establishments latterly where the service is mediocre at best, so it was nice to have someone who was both attentive and really seemed to care if we had a good lunch or not.

Terrible food. Fried chicken sandwich tasted like burnt oil and chicken was undercooked. Fries were cold and dry! I feel sick to my stomach now. I definitely wont be back!

Our server was nice, and food tasted good. It was my daughters 16th bday, and we had the bday dessert. As soon as we walked out to the car, my daughter wasnt feeling well and threw up everything she ate! She obviously got food poisoning, most likely from the chicken tacos she ate there. It was soo horrible! We were shopping that day for her presents and she got sick on her birthday!! Sooo very horrible. Poor thing never wants to eat at a restaurant again. Thanks a lot, gross establishment. Never again will I eat there

Ordered meal online for pickup and waited 20 minutes after pickup time for order to be ready. French fries were soggy, ranch dressing was watery and chicken sandwich was missing the top half of bun. I order from there frequently, but this time was disappointed with the quality of food.

Vegetarian options: As far as I know I think I did see a very small section for vegetarian food and I am sure that they can probably accommodate you with it they re very good about paying attention to detail to accommodate your needs. Dietary restrictions: As far as I know they can accommodate you with any in your diet it s a simple discussion with one of the wonderful waitresses your waiters go to my wonderful job very friendly and kind they will go out of there way to accommodate you and your meal you Can you bring it to the attention to your waiter or waitress as well it s not a bad idea to maybe give them a call and let them know your situation I m sure they will be able to accommodate you with a nice meal. Parking: There is plenty of parking not to worry about that as well as the parking spots in my opinion I think they are a little bit wider so cars don t get dinged up by somebody else s door it is in a very nice complex and there s many shops and eateries it s worthless checking it out you will end up somewhere I need some great food and possibly a little bit of shopping household items etc. Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly and the good choice of food for the kids I didn t see too many on this trip but I did see many kids through the years they have a blast watching the multiple TV screens surfing and other types of sports very entertaining for them. Wheelchair accessibility: Right up at the front where it should be easy access getting in and out of the vehicle as well as a nice smooth runway to the front door as well as bathroom facilities very well and clean lots of clear signs regarding space the handicap parking

So foods always great but the last couple of times I ve come here I get the same waiter and he isn t very friendly, he ll pass by our table, not really check up on us and bring the check before we even ask for it. Just left here and the servers kept staring at our table watching us like we were going to run out. Bought multiple drinks and they hovered around us. They sent our check twice to the table when we didnt even ask for it and were not done with our food. They made us feel uncomfortable and rushing us to get out. Not coming back here sticking to the corona location.

Love the China mandarin salad I order it every time! Service is excellent and the manager is usually available for any issues or concerns and we Always leave a comment with the manager for the great service! Wheelchair accessibility: If only there were more handicap parking spaces available with a ramp close by would be helpful.

The Tiki Tenders were just on a whole diffrent level of goodness. The resturaunt is decorated beautifully and really fits the theme of beach/islands. Parking: Theres some reserved parking spaces for islands customers but also some free plaza spaces. Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu that has the same things as the adult menu but less food, smart!

This was my first time eating here and I was very impressed. We had the chips and spinach dip to start and I ordered the hula burger and fries with a passion fruit tea. Food was on the bland side. My husband ordered a burger and it had no flavor. I ordered the grilled chicken veggie beach bowl and the rice was not good, it was hard. However, the grilled chicken was delicious. Our server was nice and attentive, but the restaurant itself felt small and stuffy. There is only enough room for one person to walk between tables. The decor was very dusty and there menus were dirty at our table.

I came in with my girl and my mom, the blonde girl at the front had that face as if she was doing us a favor by letting us in (apparently she did the same thing to my mom when she came with my dad) I got the chilli burger and I gotta say is this, a bag of doritos has more flavor than the burgers they sell here, apparently the cook doesn t know what salt and pepper is. The only thing I liked was the spinach dip we got, my beer and the lemon freeze milkshake

The last time my family and I went to an Islands restaurant was in 2021, and it was the Islands located in Corona, CA. Today however we decided to go back, but to the Islands in Riverside. The food was below average to say the least. The wife and I each ordered the Malibu burger combo, I substituted the fries for onion rings. We also ordered the spinach dip appetizer and 2 kid combos. The total bill was $82.64 without tip, close to $100 after tip. I guess its a sign of the times but I cant seem to get over the small portions and mediocre food. Sorry Islands never again. Ill be taking my money elsewhere. Definitely not worth the money. Good luck!

I mostly only have drinks , getting too expensive though so Im going to have to cut back, especially on the tips. Mgmt should take care of there own with good pay instead of expecting the customer to support them. Restaurants are depending too much on the customer. Was very excited to try the burgers here because my boyfriend loves them. We had a decent size group of 7 with us. Our server was not attentive and could hardly keep our orders straight. We ordered drinks, when she came back with our drinks she handed one of the girls her margarita and left all the drinks on the edge of the table for us to sort out and she walked away. We ordered food as well, and she warned us the burgers are cooked medium, which is fine. Mine was not cooked medium it was barely cooked, our appetizer never showed up, and she never offered us any type of sauces. We flagged her down which took 15 min to get some ranch, forks and to ordered another drink. By the time that stuff showed up our food was cold. When we asked for our checks to be split they were all messed up, no one had the correct items. We just paid and took care of paying each other back instead of getting her to fix them. Very very disappointed.

Hockey Puck shaped burgers. Tightly packed meat. Flavorless or low flavor meat. I prefer the joints where they smash down the meat to make patty. The burger main menu are those gourmeticky burgers. You have to create your own classics ( think bacon cheeseburger ) by picking what you want from a create your own burger type of menu.

Love eating here. Our server Patience was absolutely wonderful. I had a really complicated order and she gave us the best service! Jocelyn came by our table in between and also was amazing. Ive been on vacation for 2 weeks now and have been eating out everyday in Riverside. So there was an issue today, we went out for an early dinner before hitting the nearby movie theater, we noticed that it was taken a while for my food.. but then the manager, Allison came up and told us there had been some mixup, and somehow our order was not put in.. she went above and beyond! It was getting close to the start time of the movie, they got our food out to us, She comped our food and was so apologetic. We come here often, but seeing them come together as a team to get us fed, boxed up, and off to our movies was admirable.

Pretty standard. Food is always good and staff is very nice. Good onion rings. I always get the Hawaiian burger. The best one there in my opinion.

Theyve changed a lot since covid, smaller portions mainly, barely get any french fries, the yaki tacos dont even come with beans anymore, not worth it now.

If you are looking for a burger with a twist you should take a look. They have some variations on an old classic. Place is clean staff has always been friendly. Tuna sandwich is very good.

Service was lacking. Under our small table was a lot of food, napkins and other trash. I noticed when I dropped my hand sanitizer. How can burgers be messed up? Its ok. I wont be back.

This place was pretty good. I got the Hawaiian burger and it was big and juicy and messy, which equals a great burger! Their fries were also good and you get a lot of them! The restaurant itself was kind of interesting because it was pretty dark with the lack of lights. But we were also just in our own corner booth what some lighting above the table so it wasn t too bad. Our waitress was just okay, she came off as very quick and robotic and like she just wanted to get us in and out as fast as she could. The person that brought our food was much more friendly and talkative, I wish she was our waitress. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free buns (+$1.99) and lettuce wrap options for their burgers and sandwiches.

Burger and Chicken sandwich were excellent but the fries were old and dry and unseasoned. No issue other than that or food would have received 5 stars. Server was just fine nothing stands out. Atmosphere about what one would expect in a casual dining experience. Nice that there s no additional charge for gluten free or lettuce wrapping the burgers.
