I went with my family in a party of 13 for a birthday celebration and I cannot rave enough about this place. From the moment you open the door, you get the most amazing whiff of deliciousness. We came on a Friday night and were accommodated quickly. It's not a super upscale place but it is nice, the ambiance sets the mood, it's a great place for a date night or family night out with kids like we did.

We ordered many items from the menu and they were all exquisite!!

For appetizers some of the items we ordered were: The Caprese, Calamari, Macoroni Bites, and Mozzarella Sticks. 10/10!!!

Entrees: build-your-own pizzas, Fettuccine, Mia's Fettuccine, and Scampi - 10/10

First time here for lunch. Server was so attentive and nice. Our party Ordered several pizzas, salads, and pasta dishes. The inside was nicely decorated and very clean.

I like that they have a lunch menu with several pasta, pizza, and other options.

I ordered a half Caesar salad. It was good. Wish it had more lettuce that didn’t have the spine attached to it. Dressing was great and they aren’t stingy with cheese and croutons. I also got the lunch special 10” personal pizza with 3 toppings no asked for easy cheese, extra sauce, and triple black olives. There was no extra sauce or triple olives, which was disappointing because I could have gotten the regular priced single topping pizza for less $. Someone else in my party ordered a single topping pepperoni and it had a ton so not sure what happened with the “triple” olive topping. I asked for a side of pizza sauce since there wasn’t much on the pizza. The side of sauce seemed to be different Than the one on the pizza. The one on the pizza seemed to be really thin and had big chunks of cooked tomato with little to no flavor. The side of sauce was a dark red and so much better. The crust of the pizza was good and not soggy at all.

Overall, I’d return to try a pasta dish as the ones who ordered it in my party really loved it.

First time here! Looks deceiving from outside, but when you step in… it’s really nice with dim lighting and a romantic vibe. Great Italian food! Rib eye was perfect, red wine was excellent! Chicken Parmesan was delicious! Our server Patty was friendly and a delight to have!

First time trying Mamma Mia. Beautiful restaurant. Everything was excellent. My husband is vegan and they have plenty of vegan options. He had the vegan meatball sandwich with fries. It was delicious. I had the fettuccine alfredo and added chicken with a side caesar salad and a breadstick. The flavors were amazing! Tyler was our server and he made sure we were taken care of all the way through! Mamma Mia is our new favorite place and will be back to try the pizza next.

The food is topnotch! As a picky eater,I never thought that we are going to find a good quality Italian restaurant here in Riverside. People should try the calamari,capellini,and chocolate cake. The servers and the owners are excellent. Will def go back! ❤️

Don't let the strip mall look fool you. Restaurant inside is clean and modern, food is delicious, service is great, staff is friendly and outgoing. It was our first time here and it did not disappoint.
We had the beef lasagna although it's not on the menu , they have it. Lobster ravioli was to die for, and for dessert we had the bread pudding......amazing.

Well, if you haven't already tried it, you should. Had a great experience here recently, and my daughter introduced me. The food was excellent! I had the chicken marsala, and I enjoyed it very much. We started with some cheesy bread that was fantastic. Can't wait to go back. Nice, clean, cozy little spot. Looks like they may be expanding the restaurant as well.

Great experience and delicious food. Ww arrived right when they opened at 11am. The wait staff were friendly and a cup of water came quickly to the table. It was to early for drinks but they had good drinks selections and a full bar. The food was hot and we enjoyed every dish. Definitely would visit this place again. Food

Hi guys yesterday was our first time trying this place and to start we made a phone reservation for 7:30 we arrived and they tried telling us we never made a reservation, they checked that we indeed called and spoke to them and still had us wait until all the other people were seated we waiting 30 mins. we also booked reservations for a table and they gave us two booths (they gave it to the other party outside instead of us) Pizza was great, pasta was disgusting. our server was horrible (if the manager would like to check the cameras since i dont have her name we were sitting in the booths by the christmas tree from 8-9 ish. No professional attitude, we asked for a birthday cake she said she wasnt going to sing so she lit the candle and left. We asked her questions and her responses sounded very rude and like if she was irritated we were asking questions about the price difference of the tequilas. Staff overall were rude and stuck up. drinks are pricey (literally 18$ for one cocktail) Dont recommend Parking: Parking is always full here

Best italian in riverside county! Really amazing, food is tasty. As a vegetarian, plenty of options. We had the Nashville cheese curds, garlic bread, and garden veggie pizza. The food is fresh and delicious. The owner is kind and goes above and beyond.

I have placed multiple orders to Mamma Mias through Doordash, and my last few orders have been very poor. I keep paying extra for marinara sauce and not getting any. On this last order my Dasher claims they told her they did include it. On my 12 hot wings, one of my wings was literally the tip of the wing (not a drumstick or a flat). Im done ordering from them. If they dont want to cater to the delivery services then they need to remove themselves from this option

Love this hidden gem! The owner is great and literally visits your table to say hello like a real Italian restaurant. The food is AMAZING (and I consider myself a foodie)!! They also recently renovated it and expanded and its a super cozy atmosphere.

I wasn t expecting to find great cuisine in Riverside, but this has to be probably some of the best Italian food I ve devoured. Ingredients tasted fresh and the drink selection was satisfying. The service was genuine and especially charming touch to add to the atmosphere. David and Lisa were especially friendly and gave the best service.

Salmon Piccata is flaky, tender and buttery. The lightly breaded but crispy calamari is my fav appetizer. And no matter what I order, I must start with the Summer Salad. Yummy blend of super greens, strawberries, mango, peanuts, and feta!

The food is good. The calamari is fantastic. However, service is slow. I went on a Friday mid day and wasn t very busy. They do not provide complementary bread and butter like other Italian restaurants, especially at this price point. They have no signs posting that they charge a credit card fee. It s at the fine print at the bottom of the receipt. When I quietly mentioned to the waitress that the fee needs to be posted she told some guy who came out from behind the bar and started pointing to the receipt and soured my entire experience. My adult kids were so embarrassed they walked out. I paid $118 for 3 plates and an appetizer and side salad. $20 tip. Obviously, I could afford the $4 fee but it just sours the experience when businesses charge upscale prices and then tack on fees like a low scale restaurant and charge for extras that have historically been complementary. Go to Alfredo s in San Bernardino. Better prices. Better service. Better atmosphere. Complementary bread and butter. No hidden fees. No crazy workers who will attack you at your table 3 times just because you asked about a hidden fee.

Looking for awesome Italian food? Found it! Right here at Mamma Mias... . An unassuming, cafe style spot in a strip mall, with nice decor and good ambience. They have a basic, simple menu with enough variety, affordable prices, and good portions. Food is presented attractively and flavors are just right. Reminiscent of home style cooking prepared with care! Servers are helpful with recommendations and details about the menu; pleasant and welcoming! This restaurant is in my rotation for sure! This place is FANTASTIC. As others have shared, the outside, and even the plaza this restaurant finds itself in, is deceiving. With that said, its an interesting combination of casual and formal dining. Youre met with table cloths, glass drinkware, ceramic plates and bowls and silver tableware. The prices are also that of a more formal restaurant. Maybe not ultra-high-end, but definitely a touch higher than a casual Italian spot. With that said, the food does NOT disappoint. My party ordered a cheese pizza, eggplant parmesan, cheese ravioli with a rose sauce and a plain spaghetti with butter and herbs. We also ordered the garlic bread, but I failed to get any photos of that. Let me say this, the servings are generous and definitely help justify the price for the experience and amount of food. Additionally the food was well prepared and truly delicious! The pastas were all cooked al dente, and not too mushy or too firm. The sauces seemed completely homemade and were truly delicious, and the pizza was delicious. I wouldnt order the breadsticks again, as they werent as impressive as the other entree items. The service is also worth mentioning. It was truly amazing. We were given plenty of attention, but without it feeling overwhelming. Our beverages were regularly refilled, and the servers kept a watchful eye as to the different transition points in the meal, ensuring we had plates cleared as needed and togo boxes for our generous leftovers. Ive been told the next time I go I should try the Summer Salad w/ Salmon, Caprese salad, chicken picata, and the lasagna. All in all, this place is a wonderful local experience if youre in Riverside, especially in the La Sierra area. I highly recommend it for a casual dinner with family, a romantic outing with a partner, or for any event youd like delicious Italian food prepared with love and care.

Great place to dine. Excellent service staff was very attentive. Food is so good here. Best caprese, pizza is perfect, and the sauce on the bolognese was delicious. Good atmosphere and the remodel looks nice. Had a birthday tiramisu which was perfect as well. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza (cheese vegetables) vegan cheese available. We love Mama Mia s Restaurant menu and food. We love the great menu of appetizers, entrees, eclectic food, desserts and traditional Italian entrees. We love the pizzas, Stromboli and calzones. We love that they offer you to customize your orders. I recommend Mama Mia s to my friends. We order delivery and the food preparation is made freshly to order plus it s perfectly packaged for delivery and the food is hot. Decided to try the local gem with hubby. It was a Friday evening and there was a 20 min wait. There are chairs outside and with a warm evening, the time flew by. Sam, was our server. She was warm and efficient. While we snacked on appetizers, several other waitstaff made sure to check on us. The food was delicious. I ordered the fettucini and my date had the bolognese. The portions arent huge but it was more than enough for us to take home for another meal. Dont let the strip mall location fool you. Inside there are several different seating selections from hi-tops to tables with booth seating available. Parking: Parking is free in the strip mall.

Quaint little spot with great service. The food was good. I ordered spaghetti since this was my first visit - thought Id try a basic dish. The pasta was mixed with the sauce and a bit too much sauce for my taste. I would prefer the sauce sitting on top instead. This way I can add the amount I prefer. Instead, I felt the pasta was drowned in sauce. I will add, very fresh tasting, just too much. I look forward to returning to try the pizza. Extremely good service & prices are like everywhere, a bit high for a standard dish for a lunch menu. $13 is too much for this basic dish, no extras.

Today. Its one of those days.. Order was place for a month away by mistake. Greatfully order was small enough to getting IT. ready with n the hr. Of arrival. Outstanding performance all the staff. Management. Always. Going to distante, for Costumers. Thumbs UP.

Stromboli, lobster ravioli with rise sauce with fresh grades cheese, Mac and cheese bites, garlic bread, triamisu. Cant wait to return for more friendly service and delicious food.

Well, if you havent already tried it, you should. Had a great experience here recently, and my daughter introduced me. The food was excellent! I had the chicken marsala, and I enjoyed it very much. We started with some cheesy bread that was fantastic. Cant wait to go back. Nice, clean, cozy little spot. Looks like they may be expanding the restaurant as well.

The food was wonderful and the wait staff was present and involved! The pastas and sauces were really goodI didnt like paying the upcharge for processing fees, but more restaurants are adding this..

The waiters were great!! Always checking in with us. Vibes were wonderful... like a nice Italian restaurant. We got the Alfredo and Hawaiian pizza half and half... very tasty but also too much for 2 people.

Fettuccine is the best I have ever had and server is very nice. Only problem was we didnt get that many water refills but still it is amazing and worth the drive from the other side of the city.

My husband and I had lunch here recently. We were very pleased!! The service, food so fresh , #Greek salad was delicious and the ambience were exceptional! And, very affordable. We will have many date nights here in the future!

Really good, very nice workers, amazing food, good delivery time and overall satisfaction, do recommend to everyone to try everything! Kid-friendliness: Nice to the kids and understanding. Wheelchair accessibility: Good accessible place for thoes who need it.

AWESOME FOOD, AWESOME DRINKS, & AWESOME FOOD SERVICE!!! These people do it right. So friendly, fast service( on a busy night) and exceptionally delicious food. Try the lasagna or try the calzone. BOTH ARE GREAT. We came back and got the 951 Pizza holy moly was it over the top good. We will eat here again & again. We recommend this place, 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.

The food was amazing! The wait was not too long for a Friday night! It s Ina tiny strip mall and I would honestly never have stopped if I hadn t seen a review on Tik Tok. The ambiance is great for a date, families and groups. They offer a wide range of food and our choices were delicious! Lasagna and meatball calzone We will be back!

First visit. Food and service was very good. We had lasagna and the Rustica pasta, both great. Were looking forward to trying the pizza next visit. Kids meal was $7 but without French fries or drink (+ $2). $7 more to add fries? Suggestion - less fingers, add fries and the drink. They cranked up the lights on us 30 minutes before closing - felt very rude and rushed. Very weak pour on the drinks, but only $10 corkage to bring your own wine. They need some music playing. Better pour, fries and drink on the kids meal and some music playing in the backgroud - 5 Stars.

Terrible service! We were told a wait time and they kept adding time yet they kept seating people that came after us. Spoke to manager and literally had no clue how to resolve issue.

Service was absolutely IMPECCABLE ! Food was quite pricy, but matched the portions & presentation. Unfortunately, same sauce used across different dishes ( lemon caper - it was good, but overused). Could have used bread to soak up sauces/assist scooping up tidbits. Desserts were just so-so.

Great place to go with family or friends. Very good service, excellent dishes and friendly service. We enjoyed the food at the bar as the restaurant is pretty popular and busy. The food was very tasty and presentation was very well done.

Tyler was a great server, just enough attention and was very helpful and excellent customer service. The chicken Marsala was excellent, that sauce could go with any protein or bread and I could drink it. Cheese curds were so flavorful. This is a foodies dream place. I want this place fir a wedding caterer too.

We had a wonderful time dining at this restaurant! The food was great, portioned correctly. The staff was super friendly and even went the extra mile and gave us a free tiramisu since they were about to close! Food is priced reasonably. I would give this place a try!

Wow, what a hidden treasure!!! We happened to stumble upon Mamma Mia while we were visiting a computer repair shop in the same strip mall. We could smell the garlic, and thats a great indication of authentic Italian food. we will definitely keep going back and recommending it.

Service is exceptional. Wait staff is very attentive. The food is fabulous. The decor leaves a bit to be desired but it is always clean. Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be customized to be vegetarian.

The antipasto salad was great, it had mini yellow and green tomatoes in addition to the usual red tomatoes. There were two types of croutons, very good. We got the supreme pizza. The sauce is so delicious, it s a light red sauce, seems very authentic. The pizza was so cheesy and the meat was so delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I m happy we tried this place, I absolutely recommend it!!

Arrived just in time for happy hour special menu. Ordered several items along with a fine bottle of wine. Everything was exquisite and the service exceptional. Thank you Travis for all the attention and hospitality. Definitely will sacrifice 120 mile round trip for another experience at Mamma Mia.

We have been to many of Riversides Italian restaurants - over many years. Our first-time visit here was outstanding. In fact, we consider Mamma Mia to be the best. Why? Well, the outstanding service will impress you. However, it is the food. I dont know how they do it: the flavors are subtle yet distinct. You dont get that except from a gourmet chef. The staff know what they are doing. Make reservations! Hint: Try the calzone!
